I liked the vibe of the hotel. It's amazing. The stuff was amazing also. The location is excellent. Despite there is no facilities it's on walking distance from everything at the center. The mitropoleos square at the hotel entrance gives you a feeling that you are another place . Definitely I will book it again.

No facilities I didn't checked it since it's 4 star hotel but practically had nothing.

A noter que le petit déjeuner chez La Durée peut ne pas correspondre aux besoins de jeunes enfants ou d’ados (ce n’est pas buffet à volonté) ou à des personnes pressées. Ici il faut apprécier de prendre son temps.

Beautiful, new and modern. Room size was ok but bathroom was huge, all very comfortable. Walking distance to Monastiraki square and Plaka. The breakfast is something else, the most elegant and luxurious I have seen, it felt like having breakfast in the best hotel in Paris. Highly recommended!

We couldn't check in the hotel yet but they sent a text when it was ready and the young lady at the entrance was awesome. Our luggage was in the room when we came back, She gave us get reference for lunch, she helped with a charger. So great. Great breakfast, Located perfect area. Loved the room.

There is a church outside our window that had a bell that went off at 7:30 in the morning but we already were up and it was on a church day. Beautiful church that you can walk through.

The hotel had a fantastic central location and the rooms were spotless, nicely designed, and stocked with everything you could need, including lovely Molton Brown toiletries. Breakfast is an à la carte menu at La Durée and it was delicious and very filling. But the real highlight for me was the staff, they were incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming throughout our stay. This is our new favorite hotel in Athens and we are already planning our next stay!

Mi a placut tot! Un hotel de 4 stele care bate cu mult unul de 5 stele! Camere noi, bine organizate, cu atentie la detalii! Baile mari si curate! Apa la dispozitie non stop, mic dejun bun, se repeta zilnic, Dar locatia unde se serveste este superba, cu detalii mici de genul tacamuri suflate cu argint, servetele la fiecare cana pe manere, apa calda la fel in recipiente argintate, zaharnita la fel! Personal foarte amabil si de ajutor! Recomand cu drag, fiind si foarte aproape de toate obiectivele turistice!

La habitación estaba muy bien. La cama muy cómoda, el baño con ducha grande y muy limpio y cuidado. El personal muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Llegamos pronto y en cuanto hubo una habitación preparada nos avisaron, esto depende un poco de las salidas y limpieza, está claro, pero en este caso hubo suerte y nos avisaron antes que ya estaba lista. El desayuno estuvo genial, abundante y muy bueno. ¡No os vayáis sin probarlo!

A nosotros no nos importó, pero no hay una recepción como tal con sofás o algo donde quedar con la gente si es un grupo más grande. Solo está la mesita de la recepción. Pero para nosotros al ser dos no nos importó.

The biggest highlight was the location. The hotel is situated right on Mitropoleos Square, which is a charming little square with a beautiful cathedral. We were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade with a view of the church, and it made our stay even more special. Hearing the church bells in the morning and evening was such a lovely part of the Athens experience. I know some guests may find them a bit loud, but the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. We personally didn't need them and actually loved hearing the bells. The neighborhood felt very safe and was incredibly walkable. We were able to walk to all of the major attractions, restaurants, and shops without needing transportation, which made exploring the city so easy. We also used the hotel's airport transfer service, and everything went smoothly. It was convenient and stress-free. Another standout was the breakfast, which is served at Ladurée Café. It was absolutely spectacular - beautifully presented, incredibly delicious, and with a generous variety of options. Every morning felt like a special treat! The staff at the front desk were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to answer questions and made us feel genuinely cared for. Finally, the room itself was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed. We especially loved having our own little balcony, where we could enjoy the atmosphere of the square. I also appreciated the little details that made the stay feel more luxurious, like the high-quality bathroom toiletries which smelled amazing! I always spend a lot of time researching hotels before I book and compare countless options because where I stay is an important part of my trips. This hotel truly turned out to be a hidden gem. When it was time to leave, I genuinely felt happy with our choice and grateful for such a wonderful stay.

Great location to see the sites of Athens. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast from the French bakery next door is fabulous! You definitely won't walk away hungry. Our room faced the cathedral in the square and was a bit larger than your average Euro hotel. We would definitely stay at None Athens again.

There were men digging up the road right underneath our room and they started at 7.30 am on a sunday! And also the church bells started ringing at 7am and then proceeded to ring every half an hour loudly. We also had no power in the morning due to the roadworks outside so the elevator and plugs wouldn't work.

All staff we met were fantastic. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were very lucky to be upgraded (and very thankful). The room was fabulous with fabulous amenities.

Breakfast choice. La Duree is lovely however the breakfast doesn’t change. It’s ok for 1 or 2 day stay however I stayed longer and stopped having the breakfast which was included.

Beautiful rooms so well appointed, spotless and beautifully decorated. This lovely little hotel is slap bang in the middle of Athens and walkable to everywhere you would want to go in the city centre. The staff were fantastic and nothing too much trouble- restaurant recommendations, booking transfers, and arranging breakfast boxes for us on our check out day as we were leaving for our ferry to early to eat (we did not ask for the latter- they just did it! Great attention to detail!) The Laduree cafe and breakfast is delicious- a real treat! Would absolutely recommend this place and will stay again!

Really cute boutique tiny hotel in Athens. The breakfast at the attached French restaurant was excellent. Great tourist location. Friendly staff. Just be aware that the entrance is just a blue door with the number 9 on it.

They let us also checked in early which was a relief bec we were so tired from our boat transfer from Patmos island. The location is close to all tourist spots and just 5 mins walk to the metro. Breakfast is a delicious. I’ve traveled a lot and I can tell this is one of the hotels I would stay at again. I highly recommend with my eyes closed!

At a pretty little corner, the Hotel is super well located but with its entrance through a quieter street. The hotel is newly renovated, everything is brand new, very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable, best sleep in a long time! The staff so nice and helpful, even at 2:30am when we arrived.

The signage of the hotel was poor. We had a difficult time in finding it. We even asked several shop holders and they didn’t know. The name of hotel is Nine but it is a number 9 on the wall which is obscured by an olive tree. When ringing the hotel they said it was a blue building but would have been much better to say it was attached to the Laderee patisserie.

Excellent location right in the heart of Plaka, walking distance to all the major sites, staff exceptional, especially the breakfast staff, so attentive and professional.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The location is very convenient. It is an easy walk to all the tourist sites.

The one drawback is the noise from the square in front of the hotel but it usually quieted down by 11 pm.

After being in the city for 5 days, I can honestly say the location of this hotel was in possibly the nicest and most convienient area. The room was spacious, clean and the staff and services were incredibly good. Breakfast was delightful, if anything wrong it was too big for me, but perfect for my partner.

We only got tea bags provided the first night, once used, they were not replaced. Milk also was not provided for the coffee - however this may have been easily rectified had we asked but we didnt want to make a fuss.

This beautifully restored hotel adjoins a French Pastry shop which serves a fantastic complimentary breakfast for the hotel guests. The neighborhood where the property is located is full of high end shops and it is so enjoyable to walk around here. There is also a great authentic Greek restaurant right next to the pastry shop that serves delicious food. The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. We recommend this hotel without reservations.

Although the church this hotel is next to is extremely beautiful, you should be aware that the chimes ring on every hour and 1/2 hour. This did not bother us after we became used to it.

The room was great, the location was perfect. Nothing was more than a 10 minute walk. Shopping and great restaurants were a 5 minute walk. The complimentary breakfast at their restaurant was 5 stars as well. It was so much food and absolutely amazing. Staff were wonderful!!

Loved this hotel. Great location (and despite being worried about the church bells did not bother us at all). Sad our flight was too early in the morning for breakfast (although they did offer a take away breakfast… should have taken the hotel up on that, because I woke to the smell of delicious pastries). Room was large, modern and very clean. Wish we had more than 1 night at the hotel. Staff was great!

The hotel is in the final stages of remodeling and updating their rooms.

Although the bathrooms are beautifully done with a waterfall shower and a bidet, there is absolutely no place to put shampoo and conditioner (because all they had was liquid body soap, no shampoo or conditioner) in the shower. A little tiny table would have been very nice. Also, even though the sink was lovely, there was only a small perimeter where one can place toothpaste, and no place to put a make up bag or anything else.

The location is everything! It’s near every place you want to see and visit with a maximum of a 20 minutes walking distance. If you are lucky to have a room looking to the square near, you will have a nice time.

The hotel is extremely small, there are no concierge services to help with the bags, and the airport pickup arranged ended up being a general taxi! Which we struggled to fit our bags into, although I informed them about the number of our bags.

Lokacija odlična u centru događanja u Plaki. Doručak izvrstan i raznovrstan u finom restoranu Laduree. Osoblje na recepciji strpljivo, imali su odgovore na sva pitanja, pomogli su nam u pronalaženju potrebnih adresa, pozvali taxi i td. Soba udobna s visokim stropom i izlazom na mali balkon. Kupaonica iznimno prostrana i također s izlazom na balkon.

Sve je bilo jako dobro, nemamo ništa negativno za komentirati.

Everything about Nine Athens Hotel was excellent! The location was perfect and close to everything. Two things that were outstanding was the staff and breakfast! The staff was friendly, helpful and gave wonderful dinner suggestions. The breakfast was at a beautiful macaroon store below the hotel and included everything you would want for breakfast.

An intimate, very comfortable boutique hotel in a convenient location within walking distance of all the main tourist destinations. The included breakfast provided by the French bakery attached to the hotel was truly extraordinary! The hotel staff were all very helpful and gracious - including one day when they learned we were departing before normal breakfast time arranged “to go” breakfasts for us.

A wonderful little boutique hotel, in a great location. Well appointed rooms, and a great breakfast at the attached Laduree restaurant on the ground floor.

Bedroom was small, no dresser, only small wardrobe to hang clothes. Not what I’d consider a suite. Bathroom and shower were extremely large with upscale amenities. The room had complimentary water and Nespresso machine. Breakfast was good Eggs Benedict had soft boiled eggs that were cooked perfectly but came sort of deconstructed with the option of 2 sides separately (I only had the smoked salmon). Staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. Location is perfect.

Room was small with no dresser. There was a small wardrobe to hang clothes with one small drawer. There was a little noise from the nearby restaurant which didn’t bother us but earplugs were provided in the room.

Le petit déjeuner chez La Durée était très très bon, très diversifié, complet, copieux.

Le personnel de chez La Durée est un peu snob, coincé. Le denier matin, nous prenions le métro à 8h15 pour se rendre à l'aéroport. Le restaurant ouvrait à 7h30. Nous étions pressés, le service est lent et le personnel ne semble pas comprendre notre réalité ce matin là.

Everything was perfect from the friendly welcome despite our late arrival to the comfortable corner room and the delicious full breakfast .

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön mit stilvoller Einrichtung. Wir erhielten sogar ein Upgrade und wohnten in einer wunderschönen Suite. Es war einfach fantastisch, nochmals vielen Dank, liebe Emma. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Auch das Frühstück in der Bäckerei war lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses kleine Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

I recently booked a 3-night stay at this hotel for my parents, and I cannot express how happy they were with their experience. From start to finish, the hotel exceeded all expectations, and it was easily the highlight of their month-long trip through Europe. I want to give a special thanks to Panagiota Gkogkoni and Vladimiros Mykhailyk, who were both instrumental in helping me with the online booking and ensuring the confirmation and check-in process were entirely seamless. Their hospitality throughout the stay was unmatched. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-maintained. My parents also raved about the breakfast every morning, describing it as incredibly rich and excellent in quality. However, the true standout was the staff. Even though my parents do not speak English well, the team went above and beyond to ensure they felt supported and comfortable at all times. They never felt a language barrier or any lack of service. I am so grateful to the entire team for taking such wonderful care of them. If you are looking for a hotel in Athens that combines a great location with world-class, genuine hospitality, I highly recommend staying here!
