Location: Peaceful, quiet, safe, easy drive to amenities & the beach. Rooms: Spacious, well equipped, strong WiFi, adequate heating. Kitchen: Well equipped Bathrooms: 2. Patio: Good sunshine. Hosts: Responsive, friendly .

Lovely location with a few restaurants close by. Our host was easy to communicate with. The property was well equipped.

lots to like about this place. Travelling with my elderly parents in their 80s. Great communication. Easy to find, park and access. We loved the space, full facilities, 2 bathrooms. I enjoyed Netflix. It would be a perfect house for a family travelling.

Elderly parents: The main bed is comfortable for 1 person, but for 2, you get the roll-together. Didn't test the other double bed with 2 people. The toilet in the ensuite was a little tight for leg space if you were of average height. It would be good to mention this in the description. Suggest adding a couple more cushions in the lounge and dining room areas for added comfort.

A great, tidy property, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Quiet location with off street parking and a fully fenced section. We would stay again :)

Great home in a lovely, quiet street. Plenty of space to spread out and an excellent deck area. The kitchen was fantastic, it had plenty of essentials like salt, sugar, oil etc in the pantry. Will definitely book again in the future 😊

Couches were not overly comfortable, but the chair was great. Would have loved a couple of drawers or cubes in the wardrobe for unpacking.

Set up was great

Was a great place. As it was frosty, I did slip and fall on the deck, hurting myself, so it might be good if there was a warning about that. Some linen had small stains and what looked to be pet hair on it which wasn't ideal.

Loved how cozy the whare was. How easy to find and access. We all loved it for our night in foxton 🥰

The curtains all need adjusted I would suggest new curtain rails that are made for the curtains so they don’t come off rails

Comfortable, quiet stay. Easy 20min stroll to the beach.

No plunger for coffee and no hand washing in the separate toilet but that’s pretty nit pick detail for what was a great stay!!

The apartment was very spacious and there was everything you could possibly need for your stay. The bedrooms were lovely, we stayed here as a couple and my sister and it was really nice that she got to have the same size bedroom as my husband and I. The bedding and towels were very good quality. The kitchen was immaculate with every from a potato peeler to a microwave. The only issue was the frying pan was very burnt and unusable, guessing the owner didn’t know as maybe it hadn’t been reported.we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Modern on Malthus.

Quiet & peaceful.

The process for entry was a total drag because when the email was sent with the access information, we were already on the road (a 5-hour trip) and had no access to email. Therefore, when we arrived, we didn't know where the lock box was located but more importantly, we didn't have the code to open the box. Upon calling the host multiple times, we received only voice mail which caused us to be in limbo for over a half-an-hour. When we were finally able to reach the host, we were told that she was involved with guests and didn't have her phone on alert. Total drag! And regarding the windows, one of them was open which my wife didn't see and ran into with her head which caused bleeding down into her face. We were able to stem the bleeding but as you can imagine, not a happy experience for an 85-year-old woman. Her contact with the window also caused her to fall onto the ground. I can only say that she (and I) was so fortunate that she didn't break any bones. Other than the above, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. The design of those windows is totally terrible.

Loved the house/location. Everything was spotless it was great.

The property was in a quiet area, was beautifully presented and loved the extra touches of board games and books. The host was lovely to communicate with and loved that they checked in on the first morning to ensure we had found everything ok.

Only thing that could have been improved was that some dishes were put away dirty - possibly from previous travellers.
