Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Everything about this property was superb. From the moment we arrived for our short stay, we were welcomed warmly by Henry who kindly helped us with our bags and was very informative. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and only a 10 minute drive into the centre. We will definitely choose to stay here again when we return.
There’s nothing we didn’t like.

The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room became very hot and stuffy. Also there was no sound proofing between rooms so when your neighbor sneezed you could hear it.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Location was central to any store or shop needed. Even had prescription emergency refill when I ran out of a med at a very close pharmacy. John and David were amazing, very friendly and helpful. We would suggest the girl work at a home improvement store. There was zero interest in us or asking if everything was ok. In the states some jobs employees need to be paid $3 per hour and the rest is tips on performance. She clearly had no reason to do a good job. She should go somewhere else to work. Maybe try smiling, that would be nice.
Just the girl. My partner and I were in full agreement on that.

Noisy. Difficult to find how to check in and had to go to the restaurant to ask. Turns out the restaurant staff handle check-in. The picture on the site is a picture of the connected pub, not the hotel. Alarm went off in the middle of the night and guests all went looking for someone to shut it off but no one was around.
