Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Ozi qui nous a accueilli comme des rois ! Le lieu est juste magique, situé juste en face de la jungle avec une superbe cascade. Comme nous étions seuls Ozi a passé ses soirées a joué aux échecs avec nous et nous avons beaucoup échangé, c’était vraiment super ! Il propose aussi un tour pour aller voir les cascades qui sont vraiment très belles. Et la cuisine était délicieuse, la meilleure que nous ayons mangé depuis le début de notre séjour. Nous étions tristes de quitter cet havre de paix! David va pratiquer les échecs pour pouvoir battre Ozi la prochaine fois 😉

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Ozzy war ein sehr netter und lustiger Gastgeber! Wir waren begeistert von der schönen Aussicht und dem Pool aus Quellwasser. Ozzys Frau hat für uns ein Abendessen gekocht. Es gab eine Hausmannkost, die sehr lecker war.

Mooie prachtige locatie in de natuur met Ozi eigenaar die je mee kan nemen naar de watervallen, rijstvelden en Monkey Forest. Zijn vrouw maakt heerlijk smakelijk eten voor het ontbijt diner en lunch gezond en zelf bereid

Nous avons séjourné trois jours à Goa Walet Cottages, une véritable parenthèse enchantée au cœur de la nature. Notre bungalow était magnifique, parfaitement équipé et très confortable. Mention spéciale pour la piscine, alimentée par une eau de source d’une pureté et d’une fraîcheur exceptionnelles : un vrai bonheur ! Mais ce qui a rendu notre séjour vraiment inoubliable, c’est Ozy, notre hôte, tout simplement merveilleux. Aux petits soins, chaleureux et généreux, il nous a régalés avec des repas délicieux et très copieux. Il sait véritablement accueillir ses hôtes et leur faire découvrir son petit coin de paradis. Ozy nous a également accompagnés pour une grande balade à la découverte des cascades des alentours. Un magnifique moment de partage avec un homme plein de sagesse, d’esprit et d’humour. Nous recommandons chaleureusement Goa Walet Cottages à tous ceux qui recherchent un endroit authentique, paisible et ressourçant, en pleine nature. Une adresse précieuse que nous garderons longtemps en mémoire !

It is a beautiful property in the middle of the forest, with a beautiful view on the river and the jungle. Ozy is the best host, very welcoming and accommodating, we even played chess and badminton with him. We hope to come back soon because it’s a little paradise. He also took us to the waterfalls.

Ozi war wirklich supernett, hat sich am Abend noch zum Unterhalten zu uns gesetzt und hat uns am nächsten Tag persönlich den Weg zu den Wasserfällen gezeigt. Die Sicht von unserem Häuschen hinunter auf den Fluss war wunderschön, das Baden im Pool erfrischend

Leider kann ich mich den sonst so begeisterten Kritiken nicht anschließen. Unser Bungalow war zwar ganz frisch gebaut, erst seit 2 Wochen in Betrieb, wies aber etliche Probleme auf: außer dem Bett und einem Schrank passte eigentlich nichts mehr hinein: keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, alles extrem beengt. Das Bad war von Anfang an nass, was daran liegt, dass der Duschkopf einfach mitten im Badezimmer hängt, es gab keine Ablagemöglickeiten. Die Toilette spülte schlecht und lief aus (nach dem zunehmenden Uringeruch zu schließen). Das Abendessen war gut gekocht, auch recht günstig, aber es gab keine Auswahl und die Portionen waren sehr bemessen. Als Getränk gab es nur Wasser. Zum Frühstück gab es einen süßen Muffin und einen völlig übersüßten Kaffee. Alles hätte man irgendwie noch ganz gut akzeptieren können, wäre die Unterkunft sehr günstig gewesen. Aber im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Übernachtungen auf Lombok hatte diese das Doppelte gekostet und kam bei weitem nicht an die günstigeren heran. Schade

Quand vous réservez à goa Wallet cottage vous réservez une expérience authentique au cœur de lombok, en compagnie de ozzi, hôte sympathique et généreusement « humain ». Le séjour a été incroyable, la cuisine de son épouse est fantastique, vous goûterez des plats locaux formidables. Les chambres sont très propres, nous n’avons rien à signaler tout a été parfait. Merci à ozzi et son épouse.

WAUW! Tijdens onze rondreis in Indonesië wilden we graag afwisseling. We zijn naar Lombok gereisd om daar het pure, lokale en minder toeristische te ontdekken. Bij Ozzy en zijn gezin is dit absoluut gelukt! Wat een fantastische plek, met de authentieke cottages, zwembad en tuin, die Ozzy allemaal zelf heeft aangelegd. Een heerlijk paradijs midden in de natuur. En wat een gastvrijheid! Alles is super goed geregeld, Ozzy is een hele lieve en gezellige man en heeft samen met ons de indrukwekkende watervallen bezocht, 's avonds spelletjes gespeeld, én voor een rondleiding gezorgd bij de lieve mensen in het dorp en op de rijstvelden. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van de kookkunsten van Ozzy's vrouw. Dit moet je zeker doen. Dagelijks werd er een heerlijk ontbijt en diner voor ons bereid: lokale keuken waarbij er rekening gehouden werd met de mate van pittigheid die wij als West-Europeanen konden verdragen ;) Kortom: een geweldige plek en een absolute aanrader!

Voor ons was alles helemaal perfect! Wel is het goed om te vermelden dat als je van drukte en toerisme houdt met veel restaurants, winkeltjes, souvenirs, strand en luxe ligbedjes, dan is dit misschien niet de plek voor je. Wil je juist puur, natuur en authentiek? Dan is het een geweldige plek.

And the property is a great place to wind down in nature. Spacious, green, a pool, and beautiful views. Wifi was very good also. Thank you for having us.

Lovely place in the middle of nature, around 1 hr away from Lombok Airport. Ozi has been the kindest showing us around, making sure that we rest well, provide us with local knowledge and delicious meals, and waterfall tour. We loved our stay, and wished it was longer. We loved the swimming pool that contains only %100 natural mineral water and no chlorine. You are just a distance away from beautiful places such as Tetebatu as well so great location additionally! Thank you to Ozi and his family for having us 🥰

Me and my partner wanted to see some jungle and waterfalls and somehow we found this amazing spot . its 10 min drive from the famous waterfalls and Ozzy himself took us on the magnificent tour (highly recommend) the place itself has a soul opening view and is a few minute hike to a hidden private waterfall. the food was superb . we had such a good time that 2 weeks later we came back again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The place is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that made every moment special. We felt truly well looked after throughout our stay, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Een van de beste en fijnste verblijven tijdens onze reis. Hele aardige behulpzame eigenaar. Brandschone huisjes. Heerlijk ontbijt en diner. Het uitzicht is adembenemend! Heerlijk schoon zwembad. Twijfel niet, boek hier!

Cant rate this place highly enough. I loved it here so much. It felt like the PERFECT jungle oasis away from the chaos and noise and tourism of Kuta. The room is clean and comfortable. The surrounding nature is incredibly beautiful. There is a hike to see 4 waterfalls just 10 min away from the property. The host, Ozi, is super warm and fun to talk to. I spent 2 evenings just chatting with him and getting beat by him in chess. His wife is a phenomenal cook (like best food I’ve had in Indonesia level) and will make your meals for like $3 each if you want her to, either fresh fruit from their property. The pool is spring fed and this man drains it EVERY 3 DAYS to scrub the entire thing. Watched him do it. A true labor of love. I wish I could live here. This place is a destination. If you want to meet locals and stay in nature, this is the spot. I hope Im lucky enough to come back to Lombok again some day just so I can stay here again.

Moment extraordinaire passé à Goa walet cottage. Ozi le propriétaire nous a accueilli très chaleureusement : il est adorable, serviable et est un super guide. On a randonné dans la jungle pour voir les cascades et des singes en liberté. Vraiment un super moment Sa femme est une excellente cuisinière, et le cottage était propre, au calme, avec un petit patio verdoyant pour se détendre sans oublier la piscine Tout était parfait

À première vue le logement avait de bonnes promesses mais nous n’avons pas pu profiter de ce logement car nous avons dû partir durant la première nuit car il y avait un rat dans la chambre. En points positifs si vous aimez les rongeurs : -La localisation proche des cascades -le propriétaire a priori sympathique -le repas très bon

Nous avons du décider le soir de notre première soirée au logement de partir car il y avait un rat dans la chambre, il gambadait d’abord dans les murs (jusque là, nous n’étions pas rassurés mais avions pris sur nous pour rester) puis celui ci est apparu DANS la chambre. Pour nous : pas hygiénique et franchement pas acceptable. Nous sommes partis, stressés, fatigués en pleine nuit et avons dû réserver une chambre à 22h, donc dans un hôtel, le plus proche étant situé à 1h de route, le propriétaire nous y a conduit. N’ayant pas pu passer de nuit sur place et ayant dû repayer un logement nous avons demandé un remboursement qui nous a été refusé. J’ai même proposé un remboursement partiel mais plus de réponse. De plus, ils ont été de mauvaise foi en disant que nous ne nous étions pas présentés au logement et ont « annulé » notre réservation et prétextant que nous n’étions pas venus.

Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Der Pool mit Quellwasser sehr entspannend. Die umliegenden Wasserfällen wunderschön, besonders der direkt vor der Unterkunft.

Ich kann nichts negatives sagen. Wenn man nicht so anspruchsvoll ist, lässt es sich dort entspannt relaxen.

Fantastisch verblijf gehad! Ozzi is een super gastheer. Regelt alles voor je en verzorgt mooie wandelingen naar watervallen. Zijn vrouw verzorgt heerlijke maaltijden. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Een wandeling door de rijstvelden daar is ook echt een aanrader. Het zwembad is lekker (wel geen ligstoelen) en fijne bedden. Absoluut een aanrader!

This might have been the most memorable place of our vacation. We've enjoyed the beautiful environment, pleasurable contact with Ozi and the good local dishes his wife made.

Wish we had longer in this cottage and town! The property had a beautiful and large fresh water pool. Our host was also lovely and we had home cooked food every meal which was delicious ! There aren’t really other places to eat nearby so it was great to be fed well. Great value for money and would love to come back one day.

Ozi!!! Hij is een fantastische gids. Haalde ons op van het vliegveld, bracht ons aan het einde weer naar Kuta. Gaf ons een prachtige trekking langs alle watervallen, speelde schaken en uno met ons. Maar bovenal met zoveel vrolijkheid en authenticiteit. Zijn echt fan! Zijn vrouw heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt drie keer per dag! Echt een pareltje. Heel rustige en prachtige plek! Aanrader

Very nice and quiet place. Beautiful gardens in front of the cottages and really nice pool. The owner is really sweet. It was low season so i was the only one here, but that was actually really nice, felt very spoiled. They cook food for you and you can have it when you like.

Tout, la gentillesse de cette famille, la très grande disponibilité de notre hôte pour veiller au bon déroulement de notre séjour. Comme noté dans les commentaires, la femme d'Ozzi cuisine divinement bien, nous nous sommes régalés. La meilleure cuisine que nous ayons dégustée en Asie. De plus, les repas sont copieux et compétitifs au niveau tarif. La quiétude du lieu, nous avons été bercés par le bruit de la rivière. Faire la visite guidée des waterfalls par Ozzi, il nous a donné pleins de conseils, il était particulièrement prévenant pour tous les passages difficiles dans les rivières car le niveau était très haut en pleine saison des pluies. On recommande le lieu les yeux fermés.

We loved staying at Goa Walet Cottage. The owner Ozzie was the perfect host - friendly, welcoming and fun to talk with. His wife cooked wonderful home-style Indonesian food for us too. We learnt a lot about Lombok hill village life from him. We loved the hike he took us on to see the waterfalls, and also the one he arranged for us to the rice fields. Our two day stay here was the highlight of our two weeks in Lombok.

We liked everything.

The host, Ozi, was very friendly, flexible and service minded. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The accommodation has an excellent pool and is situated in a very nice (green) area and is very close to a few very beautiful Lombok waterfalls. I would definitely recommend to take the waterfalls tour with Ozi.

It didn't bother us, but the water pressure of the shower was quite low.

El mejor lugar en el que nos hemos alojado en Indonesia sin duda. El lugar es una pasada y super acogedor, hay una cascada privada increíble dentro, la comida ha sido la mejor que hemos comido en todo nuestro viaje y Ozy es el mejor del mundo, además, es guía, y hemos hecho con él una ruta por cascadas. Una experiencia de 10 que repetiremos 100% si volvemos! Gracias :)

Ozi,egy szuper vendégszerető, kedves,házigazda, igazi dolgos rendes, becsületes ember!!! A szállás sokkal szebb mint a képeken,a dzsungel közepén,csodás kilátással az erdőre. A kert tele van szép virágokkal, növényekkel,egy patakocska is folyik az udvarban amiben halak úsznak.A medence kristálytiszta, mint ahogyan a szobák, a fürdőszoba, az ágy és minden! Éjszaka az erdő hangjára aludtunk el, a sok világító bogár fénye csodás volt éjszaka.Reggel a majmok a közelbe merészkedtek, a teraszról figyeltük őket. Ozi felesége nagyon finom ételeket főzött,a legfinomabbakat a nyaralásunk alatt, és még olcsó is volt. Szuper kirándulásokat szervezett nekünk a közeli vízesésekhez, a barlangba, és Kutába is elvitt a saját autóján, sőt a kikötőbe is elszállított. Az Indonéziai utazásounk legjobb, legszebb szállása volt!!! Egy hónap is kevés lett volna ott! Köszönjük szépen Ozi!

Excellent cottage, l’hôte est adorable, il peut proposer des tours pou les cascades. Le temps a été mauvais lors de notre séjour mais j’ai pu faire quelques parties d’échec avec notre hôte. La nourriture est excellente et en quantité. L’emplacement au milieu de la jungle est exceptionnelle.

De geluiden en uitzicht van het oerwoud, het fijne contact met de eigenaar Ozi. Hij staat altijd voor je klaar. Heeft suggesties om de prachtige watervallen te bezoeken en denkt met je mee. Zijn verhalen over de start van de cottages, en het eten van zijn vrouw. Je eet wat ze maakt en het is lekker. Je kan bij het zwembad met mooi uitzicht eten, maar ook in zijn eethoek bij zijn woning. De bedden zijn schoon, de badkamer iets klein maar groot genoeg.

Het onderhoud van het zwembad, dat was een beetje glibberig, dat mag meer schoongemaakt worden. En het is even wennen maar in de ochtend misten we brood. Ipv.brood kregen we gebakken banaan en gebakken groenten. Het zou fijn zijn als er een boterham was. Ligbed om het zwembad zou fijn zijn.

Je confirme toutes les recommandations positives : accueil chaleureux, la rando dans les cascades avec Ozi est top (un peu sportive surtout par forte chaleur) et les repas sont absolument délicieux !!

Nous avons eu pas mal de fourmis dans la chambre et notamment sur le lit, nous avons dû installer notre moustiquaire

Wonderful facilities in a wonderful location

Ozy was the best host ever! He is super hospitable and made us feel really at home. Totally recommend and would love to stay here again. The meals cooked by his wife were hearty and delicious too.

Heerlijk paradijs midden in de Jungle. Ver van het toerisme af, ligt dit pareltje. De hutjes zijn staan op het terrein van de familie van Ozi. De hutjes hebben alles wat je nodig hebt maar hier zal je je niet vaak bevinden. De tuin met een grootzwembad is namelijk prachtig, met uitzicht op het bos en een beek. Achter de beek bevindt zich een super mooie waterval die alleen te bereiken is vanuit het terrein van Ozi. Naast deze mooie waterval zijn er ook een paar watervallen op loop afstand, deze zijn samen met Ozi te verkennen in de ochtend voordat het druk wordt. Aangezien het ver van hotels en andere toeristische faciliteiten afligt kan lunch en diner verzorgd worden door de vrouw van Ozi, het eten is geweldig en heel veel. Verhongeren doe je er zeker niet, en ook dit allemaal voor een zachte prijs. Ozi bedankt! En heel veel succes met het nog verder opbouwen (wellicht meer hutjes in de toekomst) van je verblijf.

Best accomodation ever in the middle of the jungle. Ozi is top of class and does everything for his guests. Great hiking with him in jungle and waterfalls. He was buying even beers for us which is normally not available. So bring your beer with you ( if you feel so). Living in jungle paradise was a dream came trough. Kitchen was the best ever eten on this island thanks to Ozi s beautiful wife

Ein traumhafter Ort um sich zu entspannen. Eines der Highlights ist der mit Quellwasser gefüllte Pool und die Aussicht auf den umliegenden Dschungel.

We stayed 3 nights and we really loved this experience: the place is great (in the middle of nature but with all the necessary comfort in the cabins, and a great swimming pool with spring water), Ozi is really a lovely and very communicative person (don't hesitate to book a morning trekking with him) and his wife's cooking is delicious, with different surprise dishes every day (even the breakfasts change every day). Everything was really perfect for us! For us it was not a problem at all because we love it but if you want to explore the region a little independently you will need to rent a scooter (is possible with Ozi) because there is not much (apart from the sublime nature) near the accommodation. It takes 40 minutes by scooter to go to Tetebatu (but the roads are magnificent and safe)

Amazing and authentic experience in the middle of rural Lombok with host Ozzy! We had an affordable lunch and dinner (60k pp) cooked for us every day by Ozzy’s wife and it was DELICIOUS and plentiful. We took the waterfall trek activity where we spent 3 hours trekking through remote jungle/forests to see lots of waterfalls in the area. The great thing was arriving early and beating all the crowds - no queuing for photos like in Bali. Ozzy also took us to a waterfall located just across the river from his property which was in a cave and super cool to see. The room was spacious and had good AC. The shower was strong and warm. There was a spring water pool on the property too. Ozzy was such a kind and warm person who’s laugh lit up a room and was a pleasure to spend time with! Do yourself a favour and spend a couple of nights here away from the hustle and bustle!

The location is beautiful! Ozy and his family were the perfect hosts . From helping with fixing a phone, to the amazing waterfalls trip and everything else. His wife's cooking is sooo delicious!

The proximity to nature was excellent with amazing views across the valley to the jungle. The cat was very friendly. Ozy and his family made us feel extraordinarily welcome and couldn’t do enough to help. Great waterfall hike as well. Outstanding local food.

Our stay at Goa Wallet Cottage was amazing, and one of the main reasons was the incredible hospitality from the owner, Ozi, and his family. The rooms are beautiful and clean. They are in a very nice area with a swimming pool and incredible views. Ozi was incredibly helpful during our stay. He gave us excellent recommendations for activities in the area and was always willing to assist with planning. He also helped us arrange our transport for the next part of our trip, which was a great help. Another highlight is the food there. Ozi's wife is an absolutely fantastic cook. Every meal we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious

If you’re thinking wether to come or not to Goa Walet, do not hesitate and come. The owner Ozy is an amazing person who built this incredible place. It’s in the middle of the jungle, peaceful and beautiful views, fresh smells. There’s a pool with fresh water, no chlorine. Ozy does an incredible tour to the waterfalls nearby. A remarkable experience. On top of that, his wife cooks homemade tasteful local food. It was definitely an amazing stay. I wish I could stay an extra night.

Wow! What a hidden gem, Ozi has built a comfortable and private oasis overlooking the river. His wife’s cooking skills rival any Michelin restaurant , and win on perfect portions. For only 50k idr , unbelievable value. Although the decor is not for the esthetic girlies, we cant fault the comfort and cleanliness. Huts are spacious and private. The pool is filled with spring water from the property, refreshing. Ozi will guide you on a walk up the mountain spine to multiple waterfalls, the secret fall was mesmerizing and private for a swim . He charges only 150 k which includes all fees and fruit . We will 100% return and stay longer. Thank you Ozi and family 🙏

Ozi personally took us there in the morning, allowing us to enjoy the serene beauty before the crowds arrived. His wife’s home-cooked traditional Indonesian meals were a highlight, adding warmth and authenticity to our stay. Evenings at Goa Walet Cottage are exceptionally peaceful, with no passing traffic and no disturbance from calls to prayer, making it the perfect place to unwind. When I needed to find an ATM, Ozi even accompanied me to the nearest village—just one example of his kindness and outstanding hospitality. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with a personal touch, Goa Walet Cottage is an unforgettable choice!

He took us on a hike along the waterfalls, went tubing (which is great fun) and he had a motorcycle for hire. Also make sure to check out the private waterfall! The cottage was cozy with a comfy bed, good ac and hot shower. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was also very good.

An exceptional stay in a beautiful 2 room (soon to be 3 room) cottage. The tranquility was priceless and Ozi and his family couldn't do enough for us. This is one of the only accommodations we've stayed in where the tour (car plus driver) and meal prices are so reasonable that we chose that option.

Our family stayed in 2 rooms at Goa Walet and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Although many things stood out (the beautiful jungle surroundings, nearby waterfall (I was the only one there), the food), what really makes this place special is the hospitality shown by Ozi and his family. We travelled with a 4 month old baby and Ozi and family prepared thermos flasks of boiling water so we could prepare formula feeds throughout the day and night. Our baby even got to meet Ozi's granddaughter, who is the same age. Magical.

Had a very tasty Nasi Goreng for Breakfast. Dinner at IDR50,000 was excellent. The location is brilliant with great view over the gorge and the sound of the running river below. The owner is busy with improvements.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage in the middle of the jungle. Rooms are basic but super clean for a reasonable price. It's a family run business and they are super nice. Food was also very delicious and portions big. There is also hot water available for the shower. AC works as well! But I didn't need it actually, it was cool enough to sleep without for me. Host Ozy offers a great hike through the jungle to the waterfalls. Definitely worth going with him (i would have get lost on my own)

Nothing. If you don't like solitude or if you want a big choice of restaurants around, then it's not the place for you. I chose this place because of the closeness to waterfalls and being away from many tourists.

If you are staying in Lombok then you have to come and stay at Goa Walet Cottage! We only stayed for 3 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Me and my girlfriend had the best time ever with Ozy and will be leaving as good friends! Ozy made sure that every moment of our stay was perfect! Ozys wife Rosmita does the most incredible food and we had something different for every meal with big breakfasts to set you up for the day. Ozy took us out on a beautiful trek to see the waterfalls and wildlife which we loved and went tubing the next day down the rapids. The rooms are big clean an comfortable with air con and good WiFi. There is a balcony viewing area with seating and a pool. Ozy also has his own private waterfall which is incredible. Even if the rooms weren't there I would come back to see Ozy and his wonderful family! Thank you.

We loved our stay at Ozi's place. His wife made delicious food, he took us on a stunning hike straight from his home, parts of which other other tourists cannot access. There is a private waterfall on the property and the gardens are beautiful. Excellent value for money.

The cottage is in a quiet place surrounded by a beautiful garden, just 8 minutes by car or scooter fro. the Benang Walet Waterfall. Ozy was very kind and helpful. You will like him right away.

Ozy and his family were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We told them we were vegan and they made us amazing food, genuinely better than a lot of the food we've had at fully vegan restaurants. The portions were also large, meaning we were never hungry, whilst the price was very affordable. Ozy took us on a waterfall hike, which was a great experience, especially with Ozy's local insight. We had a great stay and would highly recommend. Given the location is isolated, without renting a bike you are reliant on Ozy and his family for food, water and activities. However we didn't find this to be an issue given how accomodating Ozy's family is.

The air con unit in the room doesn't have a vent for getting the hot air out of the room, meaning it isn't particularly effective. However the room cooled down enough in the evening that this wasn't really a problem.

Ozy and his family are amazing. They are so hospitable and will guide you through your stay. Organizing trips, hiking secret trails or seeing non-touristy waterfalls, everything is accounted for. Also the best Indonesian food while staying in this country!

We are from Australia, We loved everything about the property. Safe to say we aren’t fussy travellers either but this experience surprised and exceeded all our expectations, it was so lovely to stay there. The property was in the most beautiful location very remote, quiet, private hidden away in the jungle on the side of a hill near private waterfalls. The hosting family are fantastic at what they do, the cooking was yummy, we ate 3 meals with them, tour guide to the local waterfalls was fantastic!, engaging conversation but mindful and very kind and helpful with planning extra drivers and tours. The family and friends on this property are very kind and supportive I can’t fault any of their advice or instructions. We will definitely stay again. :) It was such a lovely experience, very grateful to have stayed here. bring cash !! For your payment for your stay for waterfalls tour off the property, for food for transport. Also give them a big tip too it’s a great stay !!

I wouldn’t recommend the waterfall tours if you can’t walk up and down hills or have bad knees. I was in a moon boot to support my foot at the time with a broken toe. The property is on the side of the hill, The drive way is very steep and there are stairs to the cabins which are manageable. But waterfalls tours where more of a challenge sliding down hills and climbing big stairs, worth it! I still hobbled to them haha but it was a challenge. The host family was super awesome and helped me along the way bless them they where really supportive. I could imagine some one with less mobility struggling.

This was best accommodation we've ever had! Ozi and his family were super friendly, kind and helpful! His wife was cooking every day for very good price and the food was the best we had in Indonesia. Location is good and quiet, close to beautiful nature and waterfalls, where Ozi took us for a day trip! Apartments were clean and cozy. Definitely recommend! <3

Ozi was super nice and helpful. Accomodation was perfect, nice surrounding and that secret waterfall, amazing. Everything was perfect, including food. We had breakfast included in price, but you can also have lunch or dinner for very good price. Totally recommend.

What a beautiful find this place is. An oasis of tranquility hidden away in the forest with a lovely pool. Our room was really clean with an extra big comfy bed & soft pillows. The owner Ozi made us feel like family & the home cooked food was great. Particularly liked the egg curry. Some fabulous walks & waterfalls close by. If you're looking to see the real Lombok & experience nature this is the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This accommodation was the best we had in Lombok. We spent 5 days and we had a great time. Ozi was awesome, very friendly, funny and helpful. He showed us amazing waterfalls near the Cottage. Also took us on a hike to see some more waterfalls through the jungle. And arranged a pickup for us and dropped us at our next destination. We rented a scooter from him for a great price. He recommended places to visit. And he arranged river tubing for us, which was also very fun. We had a great time! The food was very tasty, his wife cooked amazing meals, we liked everything. I recommend staying at least a few nights with Ozi! P.s. he's a great chess player! 😁 We didn't want to leave, wish we could stay longer ❤️ Thank you for everything! !

You can hike in the jungle with the owner to see amazing views and waterfalls - an incredible experience. Clean room and delicious food for a very good price.

Excellent location - close to the jungle and waterfalls Very nice and helpful host - he picked us up from the airport, helped with the transfer to the port, took us by scooter near the waterfalls, took care of our child during the hike Excellent food prepared by the host's wife - we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. Large portions and excellent flavors - curry chicken, fried rice with egg, fried fish. Plus coffee, tea and water. Delicious banana pancakes for the child Very nice surroundings - a garden around the house, a small but pleasant swimming pool, rice fields, banana forests and surrounding towns full of stalls and various products I recommend for 3-4 days to see the waterfalls and go to the beach or see the volcanic crater. We stayed for 2 days, but we didn't see everything. The host will definitely help organize everything

This is the real Indonesia and you should not expect luxuries like a TV, focusing on the beautiful and authentic surroundings. However, a few things can be improved to make guests more satisfied - cabinets/shelves by the bed are necessary. As are bedside lamps. You can make them yourself, from bamboo or buy them from a local community. You should also improve the water pressure and make a curtain and a shelf in the bathroom All this definitely needs money, so come

The host Ozi is so charismatic, light-hearted and humorous that you can't help but fall in love with Goa Walet and have a great experience here. From private waterfall tours to evenings spent playing chess with Ozi (and eating the delicious home cooked food prepared by his wife), this is a place we wont forget. We stayed four nights and left feeling genuine sad to say goodbye. The room is simple and well built with a nice view of the pool and jungle behind. The accomodation is only 45 mins from Tetebatu and an hour or so from the beaches, all day-trippable if you rent a scooter from Ozi! We had a very real and authentic local Lombok experience here which we wouldn't find in other more touristy areas.

Goa Walet is a work in progress for Ozi and we feel that the room could have done with some finishing touches (like a place to put clothes and more lights) which would have added some extra comfort. Though we feel sure Ozi will add these as he goes along.

A highlight of our stay! Even though Goa Walet is away from the main towns in Lombok it is well worth the detour. The surrounding greenery is stunning and we were able to enjoy it fully on the hike guided by Ozi. Ozi and his family made us feel so welcome and provided delicious homemade food. Thank you so much for having us and we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The best place we stayed in in our 3 month trip in South East Asia! It's a small and quiet place surrounded by the forest. It has a nice pool and chairs outside each room - perfect for a few days of relaxing. The food was so delicious and dietary requirements (we are vegan) were absolutely no problem. The portions were huge and it was super affordable, too. Our host was super friendly and took us to the private waterfall just 5 minutes away from the accommodation on one day and on a 3 hour walk through the forest to see 4 waterfalls on the next day. He also offers transportation to wherever in Lombok you want to go next. The room was nice and comfortable, Wifi worked and was not too slow. When we were there, we only had cold water, but I think he is planning on changing that in the future.

The kindness of the host is what stands out. I advise you to go on the waterfall hike with him. He has his own path through the jungle to the beautiful Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. Definitely better than trying to find them on your own and for a very reasonable price. The food offered by the host is made by his wife and is absolutely delicious if you like the local cuisine. The portions are very royal. This accomodation has its own waterfall in the backyard... What more do you need? P.s. the host drove all the way to Kuta in the south of Lombok to bring me my earplugs that I forgot, even though I only stayed for 1 night. Just goes to show the lengths he goes to for his guests.

Nothing really. The only point of improvement is maybe that there's only cold water at the moment of writing. A nice hot shower would do wonders. But for the price you pay, it's absolutely negligible!

Ozi and his family go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. From waterfall trekking to the most delicious home-cooked meals, you’re in the best hands here. Goa Walet Cottage is located a little outside of Tetebatu but this makes it quieter and feel more remote. Plus the scooter drive to Tetebatu from here is one of the most beautiful I’ve done during my travels. It really is a stunning location surrounded by jungle and the locals are all so friendly. I didn’t hear the mosque during the night, all I did hear was the sounds of flowing water and occasional birds singing. The hut itself is cosy and there’s even a ‘boyfriend pillow’ to cuddle if you’re solo travelling like me!

I liked everything about this place and I would come back in a heartbeat. The homestay has only been open for a few months so it’s important to understand that as of May 2024 there is no hot water shower and the wifi drops out sometimes, but Ozi knows about these things and is doing all he can to introduce them in the future! Neither bothered me too much because I was in such a gorgeous, remote location and Ozi’s family provided me with a flask of hot water to wash my face with morning and night ❤️ Book this place! You won’t regret it.

Ozi's family home is an oasis in the middle of nature with a private waterfall 10min by foot. All the family are spectacular hosts and will make sure you feel home. You will get delicious home-made meals and the possibility to go with Ozi for a trek and discover 4 amazing waterfalls. Totally worth it if you want to experience some quietness and local vibe.

If i should recommend something would be to have something in the room to hung clothes, but this is really minor :-) i wish them all the best in their home-stay project

It was such an incredible place to stay, probably our top pick out of the 20 accommodations we've stayed at during our 3-month trip. Ozi was an amazing host who took us on a fantastic trekking tour to 4 waterfalls. The property had a magical garden with a private waterfall just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed the most delicious homecooked Lombok food prepared by Ozi's wife - the best meals we've had in Indonesia. We also got to taste a variety of fresh fruits from the garden. We even spotted monkeys right outside the property. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a secluded and peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Ozzi is very helpful and attentive to guests wants and needs, and his wife cook amazing traditional indonesian meals.

The Wi-Fi is not always stable, but you’ll have pleanty of other things to do here!

From the moment I arrived I was treated so well. Ozi is lovely and really interested in talking and learning. He's also an experienced guide. The bungalow I had was brand new and spotless. There's a spring-fed pool and genuinely untouched jungle views that will leave you mesmerised. The food was delicious and plentiful. And, there's an awesome subterranean waterfall!
