Stokel Cottage

It was a pleasure to stay at Stokel Cottage. Tony is the absolute best host! He arranged transportation for me to get there and afterwards and was on top of everything before and during my stay. I chose this place because it is just meters away from the spectacular Benang Waterfalls and to my great surprise I left also with the amazing experience of having chatted non stop with Tony, getting to share a lot about each others culture and life. His wife and children are extra sweet, and he even made me breakfast. They also provide other tours and experiences in the area. The rooms is nice and has everything you need. The surroundings are stunning! If you want to be the first one to get to the waterfalls and experience them all by yourself, while getting to meet great people this is the place to go.

All was good, perhaps a softer night lamp for the evening could improve it. But no complaints whatsoever.

Die Lage für die Wasserfälle ist unschlagbar, man ist in weniger als 4 Minuten Fußweg dort. Tony ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, überhaupt nicht aufdringlich, er hat uns alles abgenommen, uns Abendessen gekocht und die Tour zum Tubing organisiert. Zum Frühstück gab es fantastische Pancakes.

We were in the local village right by the 4 waterfalls so able to experience local life. Room was clean, shower hot, home cooked food delicious and Toni our host and his family were welcoming, friendly and very helpful with organizing activities, drivers etc

We had a very comfortable stay at Stokel Cottages. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the location is fantastic just a short walk from the waterfall. Tony was especially helpful with directions and suggestions for things to do nearby. Would happily recommend it!

Tony was so helpful and kind. The food he cooked us for dinner was delicious and he was so helpful in organising us a guide for the waterfall which made everything so much easier (having a guide was much better than trying to do it alone as we saw so many spots we would never have found on our own) . The cottages are in a lovely spot and really nicely done comfortable beds and good aircon. Also very lovely breakfast. Thank you Tony!

Everything was perfect for me. Tony and his family gave me such a warm welcome. The cottage was beautiful. Accommodation so comfortable. And so close to the waterfalls!

Nothing I didn’t like. The only thing is that it is a bit remote and a long way from any local restaurants etc for those who don’t drive. But Tony even gave me a scooter lesson to teach me!

The jungle area is beautiful and the waterfalls are spectacular and are just down the road and well worth the visit. It is a cozy cabin tucked away from the road. Tony and his wife prepared a delicious breakfast and dinner and Tony was very friendly and accommodating. Great value for the price for a one nights stay.

Stokel Cottage was a great little place, Hidden away with 2 near new comfortable cottages A family one is being built now. Lovely friendly family were so welcoming. Tony speaks good English. 3 nights here allowed me to do a jungle guided walk around to the Stokel and Kelumbu waterfalls and the water rafting, both arranged by tony. Food was delicious and catered for my celiac allergies. I would bring plenty of cash to pay for the adventures. The main tourist entry is a short walk up the road to start the touristy waterfall walk . No guide needed. But If you like to avoid crowds take an early guided walk with Harris through the "jungle" just wear appropriate shoes. as parts are steep.. Well worth the IDR 600,000. Rafting if solo was IDR 1,200.000 but a lot less for 2 or more. Thank you Tony and family for an enjoyable stay and hospitality. Best wishes for the future.

Tony was a great host—really easygoing and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and such a nice touch. The location is awesome, just a short walk to the waterfalls, which made it super easy to head back and forth. The cottage feels really tucked away in the bush, so it’s nice and private and just a relaxing spot to be. The rooms were comfortable and the bed was great. We spent a bit of time on the porch just chatting and reading, which was lovely. The drying rack out there was actually really handy too after getting soaked at the waterfalls. Would definitely recommend—such a nice, easy place to stay.

Тони - отличный парень и гостеприимный хозяин. Еще он отлично готовит и мы заказывали у него и обед, и ужин (хотя и показалось, что цена немного дороговата). На завтрак он приготовил очень вкусные блинчики. Сам коттежд весьма хороший, мы были одни и ночью никто не мешал. Максимально близко к водопадам, которые чудо как хороши! Вставайте пораньше с утра и будете там почти одни. В общем, отличный вариант для посещения водопадов!

Соседи решили послушать громко музыку, но по моей просьбе прекратили.

Nice location, though rather far from anything other than the waterfalls (which are stunning). AC is working nicely. Tony is also super attentive and welcoming which made the stay very pleasant. He also makes great banana pancakes and arranged a scooter for us. You will definitely like him :)

Bathroom had no window so it got stuffy quick and the toilet seat could be changed

We zijn uiteindelijk niet hier gebleven. De weg erheen was verder en onduidelijker dan we hadden verwacht, evenals het zeer naar beneden lopende pad.De omheining om de piepkleine wel mooie woning, vonden we "to crowdy".De omgeving op weg, was wel heel mooi qua natuur.

The property itself was lovely. Very comfortable and the family who run the business were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was included, yummy pancakes with banana, Lombok coffee ☺️ very green and walking distance to the waterfalls . They have lots of tours going too to explore the area with really friendly and helpful guides. They even introduced us to the family and we roasted their home grown coffee with them too so we could take back home to the UK. Transport to the property from airport and back which was an about an hour each way (obviously with extra cost but reasonable!) which is very convenient ! Definitely would love to come back one day, this place has a very special place in our hearts 💕

It’s a 3 minute walk to the national parc to the waterfalls, so perfect if that’s on your bucket list! You’re in a small village and in beautiful nature where are ricefields around. Tony and his wife are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is clean and nice. Terima kasih 🙏

Great location near the waterfalls. The staff Tony was great, and even picked me up on the way back (uphill) from a long walk, when he saw me on his scooter. they also offer treks and excursions.

This cottage is a great location for visiting the waterfalls, or if you want to go walking up into the jungle. The waterfalls are just a short walk away, with plenty of places around to eat in. Toni’s very helpful, and always there on WhatsApp if you need anything. The rooms are small but very comfortable.

Lovely balcony to sit and look out into the trees, but really need some new comfy chairs on the balcony to sit back and relax on.

Toni was really helpful, we arrived very late but he was available for us. Great value for money and best location if you want to visit the waterfalls only 5 mins walking distance. The room is also very comfortable and did only 1 but could have stayed longer

Voor de rest is qua huisje de prijs kwaliteit verhouding erg goed. Prima bed. Prima simpele badkamer. Ze maken eten voor je als je dit wilt. En regelen de waterfal tour + taxi van of terug naar bijvoorbeeld Kuta.

Voor mij was deze accomodatie helaas geen 9.4 Er zitten veel kippen rondom de huisjes en de hen begint al om 03:30 te prijzen en dit gaat de hele dag door. Ook zit er recht achter de huisjes een woodmaker die de hele dag zaagt en timmert. Tijdens mijn verblijf ging hij door tot 23:30. Ik heb slecht kunnen uitrusten hierdoor

Stokel cottages were a great stopover and close to the waterfalls. Rooms were basic but had a/c and necessities. Tony was very accommodating and helpful with making plans. Dinner was great.

The only complaint I have is that the water pressure wasn’t great.

Super verblijf gehad. Heerlijke bedden goed wifi en airco en Tony en zijn vrouw zorgen voor je alsof je familie bent. Tony is een uitstekende gids en heeft ons dwars door de jungle naar super mooie watervallen gebracht. Ook naar de rijstvelden en daar weet hij alles van. Super lokatie op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van de watervallen. Je moet wel een gids meenemen om ze allemaal te zien. Warme douche.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Frühstück war mega lecker. Und Toni ist super net und hilft wo er kann.

Aufgrund des Klimas in dieser Gegend, roch die Wohnung schimmelig. Mit offenem Fenster und Klima Anlage aber kein Problem.

Toni, der Leiter, seine Frau und seine Tochter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tony and his wife are the perfect hosts. They cooked a wonderful dinner & breakfast for us and they made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need, in an ideal location so close to the park. Tony also came with us for a 2h guided walk in the jungle to see the waterfalls. Es un negocio de un chico que está empezando. Tiene dos casitas. Lo mejor, sin duda es tony y su familia. Muy buena gente, trabajadora y muy simpáticos. Recomiendo cenar allí comida local y disfrutar de un rato de conversación con ellos. Son gente muy auténtica y te permite conocer cómo es la vida allí. También recomiendo alquilarle moto e ir a darte una vuelta por la zona de telebatu por tu cuenta, os recomiendo comer en cozy corner que es auténtico pero con las necesidades de los turistas a nivel salubridad y demás. Lo pasamos genial en casa de tony, el primer día hicimos el tour de las cascadas con su primo. No es ir directo a las cascadas sino que vas con el haciendo un trekking por sus tierras y te va contando acerca de las plantas que hay y los animales (vimos una serpiente!!) Son unas 3 horas de tour. También si necesitáis driver para llegar al hotel o ir al aeropuerto, con el primo lo gestionas. Muy majete también. En conclusión: muy buena gente, el sitio sencillo pero con lo necesario y te permite disfrutar de la verdadera gente de la zona.

Los tours son un poco caros. El de las cascadas fueron 20 $ cada uno. Y el resto de tours son carillos, pero bueno. El que hicimos estuvo muy bien

Man ist etwas weiter ab vom Schuss, mit Roller aber alles zu erreichen, daher kein großer negativer Aspekt.

This is a nice place to stay when visiting stokel waterfall. It is in the middle of nature. Our dinner prepared by the restaurant of the place was pretty good too.

3 warerfalls different and worth visiting - beware if you are old then this entais 400 staircase steps although Tony helped me move over them all the time. could not have managed without the motorbike transport provided by Tony. They provided meals to suit my tastes - eg, lots of fresh fruit

We had such a wonderful and unexpected experience at Stokel Cottage in Praya, Lombok. After getting completely soaked on our waterfall tour, we spontaneously booked a night here — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, Toni (the owner) made us feel incredibly welcome. His hospitality is truly unmatched. He not only helped us settle in quickly, but even lent us dry clothes so we could warm up and relax properly. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. The room was spotless — incredibly clean and cozy. You can tell they really care about maintaining a high standard. And as if that wasn’t enough, Toni also cooked us a delicious dinner that evening, even though it was quite late. It was one of the best meals we had in Lombok! Thank you so much for everything, Toni. Your kindness, generosity, and great cooking made our short stay unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Great stay in Aik Berik to visit the incredible waterfalls and to relax in a peaceful environment. The cottage is new and clean and just 4 minutes walking from the waterfalls park. Toni and Leili made me feel at home, with good advice, talk and food. Recommended 100%!

The location was cozy and immersed in nature, which we absolutely loved. It was also very close to the waterfall, perfect if you’re planning to visit! There are lots of mosques in Lombok, but luckily it didn’t bother my partner, and he’s a light sleeper. Toni and Lelie were incredibly kind, and the included breakfast was delicious. Stokel Cottage is the closest place to stay to visit Stokel & Kelambu Waterfall. It is clean, surrounded by many plants in the garden, equipped with hot shower, and although at the moment using only fan - in the morning is cold in this hill. The owner Tony & Leili are nice & very helpful. He arrange motorcycle to the waterfall which can pick us up directly in front of the cottage. Thanks alot!

We had a really good stay at Toni's cottage. The cottage was quite new. He and his family were very nice. This is a place where you can have nice long conversations with your host. The food was really really good as well but they have no menu where you can choose something from so you have to talk about your diet first like when you're vegetarian for example. The cottage is nearby the waterfalls so you can walk there. There is not much around like supermarket or restaurants so maybe bring some stuff if you want to. They will offer you guided tours as well

There are two bungalows in total. The road leading to the property is not accessible by car, but we were able to park just above and walk down. The bungalow was basic but clean, with hot shower water, and the location is perfect if you want to visit the waterfalls — which is why we chose to stay here. Breakfast was tasty, with pancakes served in the morning. Since there aren’t many restaurants nearby, we decided to have dinner at the accommodation as well. The food was actually really delicious – we had satay, tofu, tempeh, and watermelon. However, the next morning we were shocked to receive a bill of 230k IDR for that meal. For local food, that’s almost three times what we usually pay. We felt very taken advantage of and were disappointed that the price wasn’t communicated beforehand. For a simple local meal, this price is definitely excessive.

Perfect to stay for a night to see waterfalls that are right next to this cottage. The hosts are very friendly and cook tasty local food.

I recommend going to this accommodation not only for the beauty and cleanliness of the cottage, the fantastic food and the location close to the park and the waterfalls. almost all of this goes into the background when you meet Toni and his family who welcome you with love and take care of you in all your needs. unfortunately we stayed only one night but it was a wonderful connection. thank you beautiful souls I wish you the best in life because you deserve it. wealth is in the soul 🤍🥹🙏🏻✨🫂

Nestled perfectly near stunning waterfalls and picturesque rice fields. Toni and his lovely family are always ready to help with anything you need. We loved the activities—waterfall tours, rice field adventures, and even river rafting, all guided by Toni himself! The local breakfast and dinner they serve are great. Plus, the brand-new cottages are cozy and offer a tranquil escape. Highly recommend for a serene and authentic getaway! 🌿🏞️

The welcoming of Tony was awesome, such a good man and a lovely family. We spend an amazing night with them, playing guitare, laughing and sharing a meal. What a good memory we'll keep from this Authentic experience, next to the waterfall, don't think twice and book now
