The location is secluded enough from the main streets of ubud so that you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the surroundings. Ironically, it’s easy enough to access the main streets so that you also can enjoy the hustle and bustle.

The bedroom and luscious bathroom are on different floors. You will need to walk down the stairs, it’s something to note if you don’t like climbing up and down. A suggestion would be to reduce the use of non-recyclable toiletries and have guests re-use them.

It was overall a nice stay - possibly not 5 star rating when comparing with other 5 star hotels/resorts - just a few things that didn’t meet this standard but overall worth experiencing.

The staff were so welcoming and always happy to help with any request. We loved it's unique vibe and the pre breakfast yoga every morning. We regularly used the restaurant and found the food reasonable priced and delicious.

The mosquitoes were a little pesky and even though anti mosquitoe sprays and plug ins were provided my son still had multiple bites. I guess this is just a hazard of being amongst nature though.

Unique architecture, great outdoor bathroom

Access is difficult especially if arriving with many suitcases as everything has to be transported by scooter there is no car access to the hotel. This makes check in and check out stressful.

3 nuits vraiment géniales, l’hôtel n’est pas accessible en voiture (environ 15min à pied de la rue principale) mais le personnel est à disposition pour vous accompagner en scooter. Le petit chemin vers l’hôtel est bordé de rizières, de warung et de petits cafés, c’est vraiment idéal si vous n’avez pas envie de rejoindre la foule du centre ville. Le personnel est gentil et bienveillant (big up to Marley and Jun). Environnement calme, aucun bruit à part ceux de la nature.

We really loved being surrounded by nature, the yoga class on Monday morning, and the delicious breakfast. The staff were all very kind and helpful, and we especially appreciated Jun’s kindness, support, and helpfulness throughout our stay. ❤️

NIezła okolica. Same pola ryżowe. Deptakiem ze skuterami idzie się wśród tych pól i knajpeczek czy art sklepików. Pyszne śniadania choć codziennie to samo. Pyszna kawa. Przemiły personel.

Trudno powiedzieć że się nie podobało. 1. Miejsce gdzie trzeba dojechać np autem żeby kilkoma skuterami personel mógł Cię dowieźć do hotelu. Bo to miejsce za zamkniętym szlabanem gdzie stojąc w giga korku czujesz że to nie może być to bo hotel jest gdzie indziej. 2. Łazienka z otwartym dachem na powietrzu cudowna, ale wanna jest gigantyczna i nie da się do niej napuścić w miarę ciepłej wody bo wystarcza na jakieś 5-8 cm powierzchni później leje się zimna.

If you want nature in Ubud, you must locate away from downtown. This location was beautiful and about a 25 min walk or 5 min motorcycle ride from town. Worth it if you value the scenery. Not a con, but a trade-off to be aware of.

Nous avons tout aimé. Ce fût un séjour magnifique , magique , incroyable dans un décor de rêve . Tout était parfait. Loger dans un bamboo house est exceptionnel, et au Green Länder vous repartirait avec des étoiles plein les yeux .Les employés de l’hôtel sont d’une gentillesse incroyable , toujours là pour prendre soin de nous. Mention spéciale à Jun, Marley , Training , Mang Boy qui sont venus nous emmener en ville à Ubud en scooter et nous ramener à chaque fois que nous avions besoin 24/24 . Le trajet est à 5 minutes de scooter de la grande rue centrale de Ubud en passant par un décor de rizières magnifiques , ce qui est vraiment parfait pour découvrir Ubud. J’ai également participer au cours de yoga chaque matin et ce fût une expérience exceptionnelle avec l’enseignante Mugi, je recommande à 100% de vivre cette expérience dans ce décor de rêve avec elle au sein de cet hôtel . Nous reviendrons un jour ici c’est sûr

Tout était PARFAIT

Everything was amazing! We had the most beautiful villa with private pool, it was like a jungle tree house. Staff were so lovely and helpful, especially Marley and Jun who would help with anything you needed, they organised a private driver to the airport and a breakfast box for us since we needed to check out early. They were always available to give scooter rides to/from town. The location was amazing as well, away from the craziness of ubud in beautiful rice fields. It was a lovely easy walk (flat and no cars!) to the hotel from town through the rice fields, with warungs and coffee shops along the way. Would highly recommend staying here!

Recensione hotel a Ubud Soggiornare in questo hotel immerso nelle meravigliose risaie di Ubud è stata un’esperienza davvero fantastica. La struttura è semplicemente meravigliosa: una bellissima villa di tre piani, circondata dal verde e dalla tranquillità delle risaie, con una splendida piscina e una rete sul balcone, perfetta per rilassarsi e godersi il panorama. Abbiamo avuto anche l’opportunità di provare la floating breakfast in piscina, un’esperienza bellissima e molto particolare. Inoltre, l’hotel ci ha organizzato tour personalizzati che ci hanno permesso di scoprire Ubud e i suoi dintorni in modo comodo e senza pensieri. Una nota di merito va sicuramente a tutto lo staff, in particolare a Marley e agli altri collaboratori: sono stati tutti bravissimi, disponibili e gentili, sempre pronti ad aiutarci in qualsiasi momento, praticamente H24. Durante il soggiorno non abbiamo avuto assolutamente nessun problema, anzi, ci siamo sentiti seguiti e supportati in tutto. Essendo immersa nelle risaie, è normale che possano esserci degli insetti, ma per noi non è stato assolutamente un problema. La struttura mette a disposizione repellenti e creme e, nonostante l’ambiente naturale, non abbiamo avuto alcun inconveniente né trovato insetti all’interno della nostra sistemazione. Vorrei inoltre sfatare una cosa che avevo letto sul percorso per raggiungere l’hotel: il tratto in moto non è assolutamente un problema! Anzi, secondo noi è una delle parti più belle. La strada è asfaltata e il percorso attraversa risaie, villette, piccoli bar e negozietti, regalando un’autentica atmosfera balinese. Si può arrivare anche a piedi, ma personalmente consiglio la moto, soprattutto per maggiore comodità, La posizione è inoltre ottima, perché pur essendo immersi nella natura e nella tranquillità delle risaie, si è praticamente in centro a Ubud. In conclusione, è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa. Struttura bellissima, posizione particolare, servizi eccellenti e soprattutto uno staff

La struttura è fiabesca, immersa nella natura tra i campi di riso, lontana dal traffico di Ubud, ma vicina al centro. Ogni dettaglio è perfetto. La vista sulle verdissime risaie, il rumore dell’acqua e della natura fanno da sottofondo. Il servizio di pick-up con gli scooter è veloce e divertente.

La location ed il servizio accoglienza. Posto incantevole. Ottimo anche il cibo con varietà di scelta.

Inserirei nel menù la possibilità di avere carne non necessariamente pronta e marinata nelle spezie e nell'aglio. Io ho l'allergia a questi componenti del condimento.

Ci siamo innamorati subito della struttura appena arrivati, completamente immersa nella natura e con un’architettura molto scenografica , totalmente in bambù . Nessun animale ci ha importunati e dopo un primo momento di stupore per questo modo di vivere totalmente diverso dal nostro , ci siamo lasciati coinvolgere nel mood zen e dopo 1 settimana siamo davvero rilassati e felici di essere stati qui !

竹素材で建てられたヴィラで、それだけで心地よい滞在でした。周りは田んぼか森なので、景色も素晴らしかったです。 テレビもなく、周りも静かで、鳥や虫の声がよく聞こえてきました。猫が迷い込んできました。可愛いかったです。 新しいホテルなので、設備はとてもキレイでした。こじんまりとしたホテルだからか、スタッフの方とのコミュニケーションも密に取れ、安心して過ごすことができました。 バリ島ウブドに求めるものが自然を感じることならば、最高の体験になると思います。

シャワーは竹筒からお湯が流れるスタイルで水量があまりありません。建物の機密性はあまりありません。蚊よけ対策はされているので、蚊には刺されませんでしたが、虫は入ってくるものと思った方が良いです。 ホテルまで車では行けません。ミーティングポイントまで行き、そこからバイクで連れて行ってもらいました。 １０歳の子どもは初めてのバイク体験でした。 不便さも楽しめる方、虫も自然の一部だと考えられる方でないと楽しめないかもしれません。

The staff was amazing. Big thank you to Sri, Marley and Jun, who made every little thing possible! And also a big thank you to the drivers, waiters, and kitchen staff for making our stay so great :) The hotel si so special, the kind of experience you don’t get to live a lot - you’re “outside” but inside, you have 5* hotel services but you are all out in nature. It’s fantastic!

The location is stunning, isolated, and tranquil. The photos don’t do it justice, especially the bathroom - the whole villa is so beautiful. The breakfast was great and the free afternoon tea was a lovely surprise. The staff also added to the wonderful experience! A big thank you to Jun, Marley, and all of the bar and kitchen staff.

The massive stone bath was amazing but there wasn’t enough warm water to have a tepid bath - we would have used it more if there was. That’s the only critique we have because everything else was exceptional.

It was the perfect location for our 25th anniversary. Marley and team were so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the animals in time for Yoga and our anniversary dinner was perfect. I really liked that breakfast was not a buffet, instead you order from the menu. We enjoyed walking down to Ubud through the rice fields with plenty of cafe options on the way, even though they do provide free trips on the back of the scooters. Being here was such a peaceful and romantic experience, we loved it .

Green Lander Ubud is truly a one-of-a-kind hotel experience that you simply cannot have at other hotels. We are very grateful to Catur and Wayan, who took such great care of us throughout our stay. Their kindness and warm hospitality made us feel truly comfortable and welcome. One of the most memorable parts was the motorcycle ride from the meeting point to the hotel. It felt like an adventure in itself! Our daughter loved experiencing it for the first time. Putu, who had also lived in Japan before, was so friendly, and it was lovely talking with him about Japan. The hanging hammock on the second floor meant we needed to keep a close eye on our 4-year-old daughter, but she absolutely loved it! I would just be a little more cautious with toddlers around 2 years old who may not yet fully understand the risks. The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious, and the breakfast was amazing as well. In particular, the nasi goreng was unlike any other we had tried in Bali and was absolutely delicious — probably the best nasi goreng we had on our trip! We would definitely recommend Green Lander Ubud to our friends visiting Bali!

Greenlander is a beautiful place to stay and astetically impressive. It is made entirely of bamboo and as placed on edge of jungle/forest, it looks amazing. Staff as always in Bali are lovely and very friendly. Upon entering the front Reception, you are immediately impressed by the scale and presentation of the place. There are 5 villas and the walk through the vegetation is beautifully scuptured though you will need mosquito spray for sure always and constantly. Just to note that that the hotel is onlt accessible by moped though they run a shuffle service for you and luggage from the main road which is about 2km away.

Despite the beauty of the place, as a solo traveller, its quite isolating as I saw virtually no one in my time there other than staff so i personally felt it was devoid of atmosphere. I had afternoon tea as part of my package upin arrival which was a little disappointing as essentially just a single dessert of your choice with a drink and there was no else around me in the huge dining area which has appropriately 20 tables. I later had evening dinner and again, it was just ok. There was one other couple there but otherwise an empty dining room. I had wanted just a plain pasta as my tummy had been "off" but the kitchen could not accommodate so I picked a pasta with prawns and ate around the prawns. Whilst I found my villa to be spectacular, I stuggled with mosquitos by night. My net did not fully fit round the bed so the flies found ways through and I found myself getting up in the night to try to secure it spray it with deet to deter anything ! There was gaps in walls which all add to the eco style but i had expected it to be a little more concealed to help keep flies out. There was in the room about 5 mosquito plug in's to help so i had each one plugged in where ever I could. There was an extension cable on one side of the bed for a plug but nothing on the other side. There was just one plug point in the living area for the fridge but it also ran from an extension cable so you could use that. Of course, when you get up in the night to go to the toilet, you need the lights on so this was like a beacon to the flies both in the bathroom and the bedroom. I also struggled with the bathroom as it is completely open air but also has water pools and vegatation in the garden area of the bathroom and unfortunately i had spotted a medium sized lizard in my bathroom at dusk that made a reappearance in the night when i went to the toilet!

Le personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable et toujours disponible sans être intrusif. L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter d’Ubud sans en vivre les nuisances et les villas sont magnifiques. J’ajouterais une mention spéciale pour les boissons et la restauration, au top.

Complexe très sympa, structure exclusivement en bambou, dans la rizière. Que le toit et les murs donnent l'impression d'une maison, sinon on se sent dans la nature, on entend tout qui murmure autour. Situé profondément dans la rizière accessibilité par scooter, navette assurée par l'établissement, sinon 45 minutes de marche, marche très agréable, jusqu'au centre-ville. Bonne cuisine.

Ce qui fait l'authenticité c'est aussi un petit inconvénient, le bruit de la nature, difficile a dormir après 5-6 heures du matin. Mais cela fait partie finalement de la beauté des lieux.

Établissement et chambre qui sont juste exceptionnelles. Un hébergement de très haute qualité, situé à un endroit incroyable, en harmonie avec la nature. La salle de bain était extraordinaire, la terrasse avec les lucioles, la nuit arrivée était magique, tout été fait pour être dans une parenthèse enchantée Le personnel est aussi aux petits soins, une très grande gentillesse avec beaucoup d’attention.

Rien. Le seul point d’effort et de marcher un peu pour arriver à l’hôtel, mais toute l’équipe est là pour vous aider à porter votre bagage avec les scooters. J’aurais surtout voulu rester davantage…. Mille mercis à tous!

Eigenlijk niets. Vond het alleen jammer dat je bij het eigen zwembad eigenlijk niet een ligbed had of een stoel waar je lekker op kon zitten/relaxen.

El personal es increíble. Son tan atentos y trabajadores que te sientes abrumada ante semejante profesionalidad. Las villas son el lugar mas bonito donde he estado en mi vida. El camino hasta llegar es pura magia. Los paseos en moto o andando por el camino hasta la villa son tan relajantes y bellos que te dan años de vida. Servicio de comidas inmejorable tanto en el restaurante como en la villa, Sano y delicioso con muchas opciones para intolerancias. Servicios extras de decoración floral absolutamente impresionada. Gran trabajo humano. Felicidades al equipo humano.

Es imposible poner alguna pega a este sitio. Salvo que no te guste andar o tengas miedo a las motos. Como mejoras a valorar pondría el servicio de cambio de toallas diario sin tener que solicitarlo, mas perchas y cojoneras en el armario y el llenado de la bañera mas rápido.

This bamboo villa was honestly one of the most iconic and dreamy places I have ever stayed in. It felt like a dream come true and was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were initially a little worried about mosquitoes and the fact that we were staying so close to nature, but we were pleasantly surprised, we didn’t get bitten by a single mosquito during our entire stay. We are very comfortable with nature and all kinds of little creatures, so this was absolutely not an issue for us. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and we felt incredibly well taken care of. The staff were exceptionally attentive and punctual. Whenever we ordered dinner, it arrived exactly on time, even though we had told them we didn’t mind if it came later. The breakfast was also always served right on time. Everything was handled with such care and professionalism, which made our stay even more special.

We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t change a thing.

Such a beautiful and unique hotel in the rice paddies. Bed and linen is very comfy. Nice pool and wonderful staff. Food was great and the vibes were immaculate.

Not a negative but the room is completely bamboo so it’s not insulated and you can hear a lot. The scooter ride from the main road to the hotel is also an adventure! But a great experience!

It’s off a little path in the middle of rice fields with restaurants and shops but a lot less busy than central Ubud. Hotel was beautiful, beds were comfortable .

A wonderful escape away from the hustle of Ubud. A great concept hotel, lovely bamboo villas surrounded by nature.

Access is a bit of a challenge, especially for families. It’s about 2km from the nearest road, so either a steep walk uphill or jump on the back of the hotel scooter and pray. My bag was dropped off the bike into a stream by the concierge team when we left, which soaked and damaged some of my clothes.

The staff were excellent and attended to needs quickly and happily. I left my bag there and they sorted it out straight away and made sure I got it before I left.

It was in the middle of town tucked away from the chaos. 8 min ride by scooter and the team picks you up as you request via a WhatsApp chat that is manned 24/7. Nearly is made of bamboo and it has an incredible ambiance. The customer service is amazing with staff like Wayan Sri and all the others whose names we can’t remember. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and are so lovely. The food is amazing too. The villas are spacious.

The hotel is extraordinary . Rooms are well designed with wonderful architecture . Food is awesome , Lo Lo drinks are amazing . Try the Laki Laki . It’s an amazing dessert . Staff : all staff were extraordinary , kind , friendly, agile and professional. I’d like to express my gratitude to all of them , specially ANTARA WAYAN who is a spectacular human being and became a great friend , doing whatever he could to make our experience an amazing one . He deserves a high recognition by the hotel as an amazing professional. The people really make a difference in the hotel. Thanks Antara and team

Absolutamente todo. Es más impresionante en persona que en fotos. Todo está mirado con lupa y al detalle. La comida increíble, el trato excelente, la habitación fabulosa y la cama super cómoda. Elegimos este hotel a última hora para unos días y ojalá haber planificado quedarnos más. Muy céntrico y dormimos como hacía mucho tiempo que no lo hacíamos. del 1 al 10 le doy un 100. Estás en contacto con la naturaleza y es muy tranquilo.

I cannot explain how much we loved our stay here. It's an incredible and immersive experience to stay in these bamboo houses in the middle of the rice fields, everything is so beautiful and well-maintained. Special mention to the staff, big love to Sri especially, she could not have done enough for us and was such great company, I really missed her after we left! But the whole team deserve recognition, the barman made the best cocktail we had in SE Asia (and we were in 5 countries!) - the bamboo islanders were a work of art! Every morning our breakfast was delicious (♡ nasi goreng!) and so beautifully presented and we had dinner/lunch on the property several times. The drivers were always so nice and we absolutely loved zipping through the rice fields with them, especially at night. There is a lovely walk through the jungle/paddies you can also do starting right outside the door. Though the staff were incredible I should mention the villas are also beautiful, our stone pool was a real treat and the outdoor bathroom with bamboo shower (and fireflies!!!) felt like a great combination of nature and luxury. Green lander we loved you! I hope we can come back some day!

Nothing about the property or service could be improved, but its important to know this is an immersive natural place. You can hear geckos and other wildlife at night, you can see fireflies, you will hear fish and toads splashing in the rice paddies. This only adds to the beauty and allowed us to enjoy more of Bali's rich natural landscape. This is luxury Balinese style, not a sterile city Hilton.

Looooved the resort. Small place with 5 villas. Very personalised service. Staff were excellent. The beauty of the resort and surroundings is unmatched.

Not an issue at all but good to be aware: The resort is a 5-10 minute bike ride from the main road. Only accessible by scooter or walking - its a fair walk (which we never did). But I cannot complain at all because the staff took us by scooter even 10 times a day without any hesitation. We never had to wait around for a ride, they were always available and ready. You cannot get such a peaceful, beautiful vibe from a resort by the main road. So its a tiny inconvenience for a LOT of gain.

Very nice place hidden in the middle of rice fields and authentic balinese surroundings. The villa is partly open and you can really feel the nature and be united with it. Upon our arrival we had amazing set up of the bathroom with flowers. Breakfast was tasty. It’s better to rent a bike if you want to be mobile.

The stay was extrenmely comfortable and romantic. We stayed there for a night to experience the bamboo stay. There are slight noises from the frogs around as youre staying close to the rice terraces, but that wasnt too disturbing. Very close to the central ubud market They have the option of the breakfast at the restaurant or they provide you room service with local or international breakfast options available. The breakfast was amazing as well! -

theyre about a kilometer away from the main road which is accessible only by bike (they provide you with pick and drop along with the luggage)

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Greenlander. This was my very first time in Bali, and Greenlander was the first place I stayed after landing. What a wonderful way to begin my trip! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the responsiveness and kindness of the entire team. Every request was handled quickly and professionally. The villa was spotless, and I loved the attention to detail in every corner of the property. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I absolutely loved the bathroom and the pool. Honestly, these are the kind of places you never want to leave once you step into them! A very special thank you to Wayan Sri, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. She truly made a difference and contributed greatly to this wonderful experience. I would also like to thank the rest of the team because everyone was amazing. I will definitely stay at Greenlander again when I return to Ubud, and next time I’ll be booking the suite facing the jungle! This is a place everyone should experience at least once. I recommend it 100% and can’t wait to come back.

Food options are limited and are on the pricier side. Good thing is there are lot of cheaper options around within walking distance.

Prachtige accomodatie in de natuur. De villas zijn erg mooi en schoon. Uitzicht op de rijstvelden en een mooie buitenbadkamer. Er is een minibar en er kan eten/drinken besteld worden in de villa. Kwaliteit van eten/drinken is erg goed en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ligt op 20 min lopen vanaf Ubud, maar ze kunnen je met de scooter brengen en halen wanneer je wilt. Het ligt tussen de rijstvelden langs de Sani Organic Walk. Prachtige omgeving en ook diverse eet en drinkgelegenheden op loopafstand. Echt een aanrader als je in een mooie omgeving wilt verblijven, bij vriendelijke mensen en toch alles ook dichtbij is

The property was not represented correct on booking.com, it did not have amenities as marketed, for example it was listed as a 5 star resort with gymnasium which it wasnt.

This place is beautiful, especially the outdoor bathtub! You can opt to eat breakfast in the restaurant or in your villa and the staff are so lovely. They also provide free scooter transfer to and from the meeting point which is 1.5km down the path. The path itself is littered with restaurants and little shops so worth the walk if you're feeling up to it.

The natural sounds of the animals and insects was lovely to sleep to but could be very noisy in the evenings. It would abate later in the night, but if it is a problem the villa do offer free ear plugs in each room which help.

It is a very peaceful place surrounded by rice fields. At night, you can enjoy the sounds of nature, including frogs croaking and birds singing. It is the perfect place to relax and escape the rush of city life. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was well maintained. I especially enjoyed the hammock and the swimming pool.

The experience of staying at this place was one of the kind. The accommodation was built from natural sources using traditional methods and we felt closer to the nature. The place is close to some cafes and restaurants in a walking distance. It is close enough to the city center, yet secluded from the crowd. Staffs were friendly and the service was good.

Truely an all bamboo experience, and we especially loved the outdoor bathroom and private pool. Our little daughter is still talking about „her Bali home“, days after our return home. The staff was incredibly hospitable and took good care of anything we needed. Always with a big smile.

Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. The place itself is absolutely beautiful - very exclusive, peaceful, quiet, and perfectly surrounded by nature. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the incredible team behind it. The level of care and attention we received was beyond anything we expected. The staff made us feel like we were the only guests in the resort, always available 24/7 and remembering every little detail about us. Their hospitality brought this experience to a completely different level - without them, it simply would not have been the same. A very special thank you to Dev, Wayan, Jun, Ari, Selsa, Bodyl, Egon, and Febri. Every single one of them went the extra mile to make us feel like royalty. We were especially touched by the beautiful arrangement they organized in the pool area so quickly and thoughtfully before we returned from our activities. This hotel is an escape, completely surreal in such a rural setting one can imagine! There is no road to the property it’s only accessible through a long walk from main road or a bike/scooter ride. It’s surrounded by rice padi fields and is as picturesque as they come. The bathroom and toilet, well I can’t even begin to describe those.

There is nothing to fault, amazing and beautiful people looking after the place and go out of their way to be extra nice. Be warned there is no TV, no gym. Your entertainment are the beautiful settings, the beautiful walks, the many kiosk eateries, yoga centres etc

Taksi otele kadar gitmiyor. Tek motor geçecek bir yoldan 1,5 km içeride kalıyor otel. Motora binmek keyifliydi. Fakat ulaşımı zorlaştırıyor bu durum Odalarda doldurma su vardı. Kapaklı şişede su yoktu. Barda mevcut. Fakat bar 22:00 dani sonra kapalı .gece suyunuz biterse termoslara doldurup getiriyorlar.

Très bel endroit au milieu des rizières, les bungalows sont très mignons avec petite piscine privative et salle de bain naturelle entourée de plantes. On accède à cet hôtel uniquement par scooter ou à pied. Le service de l'hôtel permet de faire le petit trajet en scooter rapidement. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable et à l'écoute, joignable par WhatsApp à tout moment de la journée. On y mange également très bien. Encore merci au personnel du Green Lander pour ce beau séjour et au plaisir d'y revenir

We absolutely loved our stay at The Green Lander in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, it felt like such a unique and luxurious hidden escape — like living in our own private jungle retreat. It honestly made us feel like rockstars, while still being peaceful and completely away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. A huge thank you to Wayan and Catur at the front desk, who made us feel so welcome and looked after every detail with kindness and warmth. The bike riders were also incredible — always available to take us into town with a smile, making everything so easy and stress-free. And the food… WOW. The chefs here are AMAZING. Genuinely the best burger and the best nasi goreng we had in all of Bali. We found ourselves looking forward to every meal. If you want somewhere that feels luxurious, private, relaxing and truly special, while still having easy access to Ubud, this place is magic. We will absolutely be back.

After many trips and many hotels, I can say that Green Lander exceeded my expectations and pleasantly surprised me. The surroundings, the room, the food, the landscape, the staff — absolutely everything takes you away from conventional tourism and gives you a few days of true rest and disconnection in the middle of while still being well connected and just a few minutes away from Ubud and its lively streets. I would definitely recommend it, and I hope to come back very soon Thank you for creating and sharing such a spectacular place

De locatie! Je bent meteen in het centrum maar ligt toch wat afgezonderd in een oase van rust. Het hotel personeel is zoooo lief! Ze zetten jou ook elke keer af aan het centrum. Je slaapt echt in een bamboo paradijs! Ze doen er alles aan om het u zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken🫶🏼

Complimentary scooter service on demand to the main area of Ubud

All of the open villas in Ubud will have tons of mosquitoes and rodents. Somehow mosquitoes were trapped inside the nets. Was difficult to sleep.

Dernier kilomètre pour accéder à l'hôtel qui est un petit chemin a travers les rizières. Piscine privée très sympathique. Vue sur les rizières. Restaurant de l'hôtel excellent. Autre restaurant ou bars a proximité pour pouvoir changer. Literie incroyable Répulsif à moustiques proposé. Petit déjeuner très bon !

If you are after a large resort with a swim up bar and buffet breakfast… this place is not for you. There is no kids club or beauty spa, nor is there a choice of pools or restaurants. HOWEVER, if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, nestled in nature and working rice paddies with the most attentive and amazing staff… then look no further. The entire property is a structural anomaly, crafted entirely from bamboo, surrounded by working rice fields and a little touch of the jungle. You will hear the sounds of geckos and frogs, chickens and roosters and also, if you’re lucky, witness the fire flies dancing in the night sky. It’s a little touch of paradise…. Yes, we saw some mosquitoes but if you are prepared, use the precautions provided and a little bit of common sense.. the impact is minimal. We’ve been to Bali too many times to keep count and can honestly say this place wins.. hands down. It’s private without feeling isolated and you will not find more helpful and happy staff to assist you with anything you need. They are more than happy to accommodate you with a quick scooter ride to the meeting point for a spot of shopping and when you are done, they will scoot you right back to the Villas where you will be greeted with a big smile and offers of any assistance to make your stay any better… if that is even possible here!! Breakfast is simple yet delicious with your choice of either Indonesian or American cuisine. I urge you to try the mango and strawberry fresh smoothies!! Room service is available with a variety of options and arrives hot , fresh and full of flavour and can be served to you next to your private pool. Extra towels or water is only a whatsapp message away. You wont be disappointed in any way staying with the team at Green Lander… it’s a little piece of old Bali, peaceful and simple yet luxurious in its own unique way. 1000% recommend.

Un lugar de encanto e inclusive el trayecto hasta el hospedaje, todo el paisaje, los arrozales una paz y tranquilidad que se respira en el ambiente. A pesar de estar metido en arrozales queda muy cerca del centro de Ubud y zona turísticas Lo que destacó su gente, todo el personal muy amable, sobre todo la calidez de Wayan quien fue quien nos recibió y cabe destacar los chóferes de las motos Agus y Marle, quizás nos falta nombrar más gente, pero nos llevamos un gran recuerdo en nuestro corazón.

We had an incredible stay at this property. It’s truly a hidden gem, perfectly connected with nature and surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes it feel peaceful and refreshing. The place looks exactly like the photos-if not even better in person. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care made a huge difference.
