Nothing not to like.

It was a very nice room overlooking the bay. Only one of the restaurants was open on our first night but the food was fine. We ate in the other restaurant on the second night which was lovely with very good service.

A better continental breakfast would have been nice as it was quite sparse. It was very hot whilst we there and the fan provided wasn't very effective.

The location was brilliant and the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were really helpful but a bit rushed ,i think because they didn't have enough staff at that time.

Everything, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable and breakfast was lovely .We wanted a quiet break and to enjoy some walking.We stopped for 2 nights and walked into Weston each day.Once we had discovered you could walk through Weston woods it was a lot easier than walking along the busy road and took about 40 minutes.We also walked along sand bay which was lovely and very quiet.We ate in the restaurant in the evening and this was also very good.

There was nothing we didnt like.

Good Location , Comfy bed, Sparkly clean bathroom and room, free parking, basic breakfast included within price what else you need.

The beds in our party were so very uncomfortable Theo springs were coming through the mattresses even sleeping on top of the blanket it was very uncomfortable. Room 7, room 10 and room 8 were very uncomfortable told staff but they didn’t have facilities to help

The hotel was brilliant, lovely staff and great food. Loved the small takeaway cafe up the road also lovely food and staff.

It's more of a dog walkers beach could be cleaner.

The door handles to the rooms. Didn't fit with the rest of the hotel. Felt like something a jail cell would have.

Room 4 the fridge stank so was unable to put clothes in wardrobe, the mattress was very uncomfortable so didn't get a lot of sleep

The bar and dining areas were all well kept and had a good feel.

The room was dirty and unkempt. Very shabby room. Mould, carpet stains and wall damage and scruffy paint.

It’s a lovely hotel however the annex which I booked could do with renovating. It was nice senate to the main hotel so very quiet & private.

The lobby carpet was very dirty however the room itself was very clean. As it was a ground floor room I was expecting a walk in shower not a shower over a bath. The bathroom was a bit outdated. I think the room was a bit overpriced. It states breakfast included but this is only continental so this should be made clear also.

Beds were rock hard. Staff were either in training and trying there best or .... Breakfast is described as full continental, if toast and small selection of cereal, 3, is a full continental then I apologise.

It wasn’t clear about breakfast when booking.we thought it’s full breakfast including but it wasn’t. They told us what it’s continental breakfast just when we booked non refundable room.Poor choice of continental breakfast.People sitting below your room window in the outside restaurant.

The staff, food and location was great. everyone was friendly and the fact it was right on the beach was so nice.

The toilet roll holder was hanging off in the bathroom & there was nowhere to put shower gel in the shower. also it was quite loud opening and closing the front door but the noise wasn't really a problem

Great location on the outskirts of Weston supermare. Just across the road from the beech, very clean and nicely styled. Gave us great meals too was lovely to sit on front veranda watching the sun set with food and drinks.

Did have some disturbance at night but wasn’t for long

The evening staff were very polite up beat and professional nothing was too much to ask for, check in was very smooth when arrived.

When up on entering are room all looked clean & tidy. Unfortunately are bed had to single pushed together spend more of the night falling though the middle of the bed . Breakfast wasn’t a hit at all some items were very over cooked to the point they were very hard and not edible to eat. Had to wait over 45 minutes for a coffee . Due to the level of customer witch was a very few amount of people their would have expected a better timing.

Lovely hotel right by the beach and a stroll away from coastal path walk. Parking was great, and the room was lovely with sea views. Bar and restaurant was excellent with seating at the front of the hotel. Food not overly priced. Nice quiet hotel with not much passing traffic. Would certainly stay again.

Nothing with the hotel but I will just say that the beach is not really kid friendly. It's not really sandy and when the tide is out it's a long long way to the water. There are signs on the beach to warn of sinking mud. It was more dog friendly than child friendly. No public toilets.

Conveniently located; clean

Needs updating. We stayed in the annex, which was pretty shabby with an old and tired bathroom. It was clean. The breakfast was ok.

Quite a way out of the town (my fault for not checking), we did make our way back to Rock Salt to eat to find it was closed despite the website saying otherwise.

continental breakfast was nice

There is a nice restaurant and bar open to the general public, the night I was there the kitchen closed at 7.30 and the bar at 9.30, both very early for August.

The location was perfect, the room was lovely and clean, the sea view was lovely. The food was good and the staff were polite and friendly.

Shower didnt work and the bed was 2 put together and where the edges was on each bed stuck out and Into my ribs. It says breakfast included when booking however this didnt include cooked breakfast. Very limited choice on what was included- yoghurt, boxed cereal and fruit..

Location was good, staff were helpful the hotel itself is really nice bar area and restaurant is lovely but we stayed in the annex and it wasn't very nice, would recommend that room for pet travellers.

The annex room was run down needed decorating and didn't look very clean, the toilet wasn't cleaned very well and there was hair left in the sink and bath.

Excellent location. Room with a view was above expectations.

Lovely little hotel that allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff are exceptional - nothing is too much trouble and they are so helpful and polite. The hotel is just opposite the sand dunes and beach and set in a quiet location about a couple of miles from Weston Super Mare. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel. The rooms are well equipped, including a little fridge and a fan which were really welcome in the heatwave. The beds are extremely comfy too. Continental breakfast was included in the price which was just enough for us, although they do offer a cooked breakfast too. We have staying at this hotel several times, and will hopefully stay there again and again. Highly recommended

The shower cubicle could do with a soap dish.

Beautiful views. Location. Soft fluffy towels. Helpful staff. Food from "the salt rock" at the hotel was great.

Better if the bar stayed open later for guests (we returned at 9.45 after watching the sunset on the beach and would have liked another drink). Mini pastries with breakfast would be better. A noisy delivery to the bar very early the next morning woke me up.

Wonderfully calm, peaceful seaside location with gorgeous sunsets. Staff were friendly, happy, welcoming, people. Decor was inspiringly coastal theme. Beautiful room with amazing views. Lots of onsite parking. Open top bus every 30mins to Weston. Good paths for walking plus it’s on the England Coast Path. Amazing woodland walk through to Weston and beyond.

My only dislike was the king size mattress which had seen better days. Continental breakfast lacked imagination.

It was so hot and when I went down to ask for a fan about 10pm everyone was gone and place totally locked up so had very uncomfortable hot sleep Breakfast was 8.30 am on a Sunday which was way too late for us, when up about 7.30 lots of guests were up and about but no way to get a drink or anything before 8.30 Booking.con have it listed as a hotel is Weston-super-mate it’s not and not much about so ideal if you just want a lazy quiet night away but not if you want to go out for a wander

Dinner and Breakfast were both very nice. Room, although no air-con and the fan was useless, was nice. The Staff made the stay, nothing seemed it would be of any problem and why I will return.

The boy racers!!!! I was working till very late on my laptop so it wasn't a real issue but I bet it could put off other guests, especially if you were on holiday.

Nice quiet location, with beach across the road. We like to get the open top bus into town £5 for a day pass. Good TV with Freeview. There was a wedding that day and music which stopped at a reasonable hour

The room in the annex where we were staying was extremely tired and in need of decoration and the bathroom was not clean.

Great breakfast and great shower. Good size room with tea/coffee making facilities.

My only complaint is the time they start doing breakfast is a bit late for me, 7:45am

Peeling paint on bathroom door and room door A doors so heavy (fire doors?) that when people were leaving or going out they slammed and woke me up. The room door had had a handle change and the repair had not been painted and the door gave a poor first impression. Room 4. No full length mirror. Towels changed but not topped up the complimentary coffee/milk or replaced cups. When we checked I. We were told breakfast was continental which we didn’t want on morning one but when we came to breakfast on morning two we found there was an option for cooked breakfast after we had had toast! These are all minor things but would improve the service and impression.

Sure. The positives: 1. View from top floor overlooking was good 2. Staff were okay but see notes below 3. Room was quiet but see notes below 4. Location was ok 5. Parking was ok 6. Clean but see notes below Bad points: 1. We arrived at 1pm but check was at 3pm and we were turned away, but query whether our room had been occupied the previous night / was indeed not ready (a Thursday?). The Receptionist wouldn’t take our cases saying there was insufficient space. 2. Essential toiletries we’d forgotten were unavailable ie toothpaste. 3. Bathroom fan sounded like a tractor 4. Shower head was drooping 5. Bathroom sink didn’t drain 6. Beds were not made by cleaners during our 2 night stay 7. neighbouring resident was smoking cannabis in their room and it tank out the whole corridor 8. Oven chips were served not real cut chips at our £60 dinner (seriously? A MAJOR disappointment for the prices charged dining in) 8. Extra pillows were requested but not supplied 9. The mattress was lumpy 10. The restaurant has crappy net curtains blocking out light and pleasant trees

I can't find an awful lot not to like but I would say the place felt a little tired, it felt like it could do with a good lick of paint other than that it was ok. The beach nearby seemed to be primarily used by dog walkers but unfortunately not all owners are responsible 💩🤢

Great location on the sea front

It was very hot with a poor quality mattress. The breakfast didn’t start on Saturday until 8:30 which is quite late.

Waking up to the beautiful views across sandbay was so lovely. The area was quiet and peaceful. I'm so glad the windows opened wide enough so I could let the cooler air blow in through the night as I stayed during the heatwave. The staff were fantastic and how they managed the cleaning through that heat, I don't know, hats off to them. Very clean and pleasant decor, and I will definitely book here again. Lovely hotel with a great team of friendly staff. Nicely decorated room. Reasonably accessible via stairs. Lovely large parking area and great bar area and outside seating. The whole hotel looked newly upgraded and was very smart. Nice breakfast served by hardworking staff with a smile in very tough conditions.

The room was extremely hot and there was no fan and the windows barely opened. We had to borrow a fan from reception but it was so clogged up with fluff that it made little difference. There was no information in the room about wifi etc and only in the morning after suffering an extremely hot uncomfortable night did we discover that there was a catch to open the windows more. Some information in the room about this too would have been really helpful. The bathroom window was in full sun and there was no blind to cool the room down. There was limited sockets to plug the fan in where it made any difference to us. There were no fans in the eating area of the bar and having a meal was also very uncomfortable. The road was very noisy at night till late with revving cars racing by, not the hotel's fault but it wasn't a peaceful stay sadly. We did stay during an exceptionally hot spell and would have liked to enjoy the sea view we paid for, but had to keep the curtains drawn at all times unfortunately. There was very little on the menu for vegetarians. A bean chilli only which was not exactly appetising during such hot weather.

The ladies where so helpful settling me in. Few issues but sorted straight away. Fish sandwich was soooo good just right. Really lovely evening staff chatty just great service. Nice location for a bit of piece.

Bed was really uncomfortable, dipped felt the springs, metal edging never slept on such a bad bed, basicly didn't sleep well at all!! no mattress protection or topper either. fan completely useless so felt like an oven. Contintal breakfast very basic, toast, yoghurt and cheap cereal. When telling the manager about the bed really didn't seem to care. Real shame.

The location

When we arrived, nobody was available on reception. On check in we were told our room was in the annex. It looked derelict and ready for demolition. Admist of uncut jungle. The wardrobe had no hangers but due the nails and screws in the walls from having no pictures hung clothes to the wall. Whole place was filthy a nd unclean.

Free parking, clean towels daily if wanted, courtesy hot drink tray replenished. Great breakfast. Comfy beds/pillows. Great location for a wedding.

The rooms although refurbished let themselves down by not having little things attended to. Hardwood doors have been glossed painted therefore looked messy. Shower tray silicone needed replacing. Patch of damp mould on ceiling in bathroom as no fan for ventilation. Several other things just needed some attention, door lock awkward. Just a small amount of attention to make a big difference. TV with netflicks - excellent added bonus. Need signs from parking area to direct to reception.
