Location brilliant

The room was very basic in need of a refurbishment. Furniture was very poor , bed very uncomfortable poor quality bedding, have stayed in better rooms at this hotel.

First time to stay at this hotel for our visit in western. Lovely hotel good location. Food bar staff were excellent couldn't fault it.

Beds were abit squeaky when turning over but nothing major. We stayed in a twin room.

Great location for what we needed as we were going to the playhouse, room had a fan we could plug in and the windows opened wide

Room didn’t feel like we had any privacy, both windows we big meaning that it felt people could see in so you could only get changed in the toilet, there was also a alarm in the room that had a green light that didn’t turn off, the tv was also tiny

Bed uncomfortable 😫 couldn't get comfortable felt like springs were sticking in me . Room 104. Never had a bed uncomfortable in my life like it. Didn't bother to complain just a quick stop off really.

Brilliant location

This hotel is all about the location, close to the sea and town centre with very large free car park. Rooms are showing their age but still comfortable. Nice bar with TV sports and pool table. English buffet breakfast good but limited "continental" items.

Relatively expensive for short breaks but the location is everything.

Clean comfortable room, friendly helpful staff.

Had almost no sleep the first night as a shouting match was in progress in & outside the room opposite at random intervals throughout the night. Too scared to intervene, & no number to ring reception for help. A note was made on my file, & I have a recording of some of it. Not the hotel's fault, but not able to communicate my distress was very bad practice. My special day that I had come to Weston for was ruined because I was so tired.

Stained pillows,no glass for bathroom and decor very tired. Shower broken and bedside wall light too.

This hotel is in a good position nice views and very handy if you attending a show at the Playhouse Theatre

Good size room with a sea view, bed not very comfortable for us, extra tea etc.rederly available, very convenient too the shops and access to beach

Breakfast was full English with no alternative only fried eggs when on buffet sausage was tough and over cooked .continental was very basic on selection. Only mugs available for tea

Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruit and yogurt cereals and a very good hot buffet. Food was well presented, fresh, hot and plentiful Location was good, on the sea front, but laid back so no road noise, and convenient for everywhere. We hadn't specified a sea view room but we got one! Lovely big windows table and chairs, high ceilings a really nice long, deep bath and plenty of hot water.

No complaints at all.

Close proximity to beach and shops. The size of room was sufficient for 2 adults and 2 children.

Noisy at night from karaoke at the bar across the road. Didn't become quiet until past 3 in the morning. Kids couldn't sleep. Still awaiting the refund we were told we were getting as the door handle broke and we couldn't leave our things in an insecure room. Waiting for another room was eating into our itinerary and we had an engagement in another city that we needed to leave for.

Excellent location central to everything. Room was spacious, clean and great facilities.staff was very welcoming and friendly. I noticed the hotel had excellent mobility friendly facilities. A lift ramps etc.

The staff were excellent, very helpful and kind. We were close to the beach ⛱️ . The rooms are a bit outdated and a grab rail for the shower would have been nice. But everything was clean and more than adequate for our stay. Breakfast choices was fantastic. Would definitely book here again..

I don’t normally do reviews but I am this right as I thought this hotel was really good . The staff were very friendly and helpful and always a ‘good morning’ , ‘did you have a good day’ type interactions

Couple of minor things .TV did not work well but wasn’t there to watch tv . Felt the breakfast was a little overpriced for what it was compared to other venues but again not a biggie

Veey dated room. Mould around the bath. Bed was so u comfortablle, you could feel lumps and bumps in the mattress!!!

The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.

The room overlooked bars and restaurants and is EXTREMELY noisy making sleep nearly impossible. We had two children who really struggled to sleep. The mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Two of our party had bed bugs too.The room looked tired and needed updating. We wont be back.

The location is great, just a short stroll to the town centre, seafront, and other attractions. Our room was fabulous, and very comfortable. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We look forward to our next visit to this lovely Hotel.

Perfect location; probably the best hotel we’ve stayed in and we stay in Weston every year The staff were beyond exceptional Shout out to the lady who said she was a Christian? And hadn’t been there long? She was absolutely perfect and went above and beyond for everyone

The pillows. Honestly the bed was fine but the pillows felt non existent, maybe need new ones ?

It was an old school seaside hotel with old fashioned style decor and that was a win for me. Room was clean and spacious for my 6ft 2 son. Bathroom was fresh, bright and clean. And not to the forget the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Our door required a slam to shut it properly but thats all I've got to complain about. 🥰

Parking was easy and FREE. And breakfast was buffet style and cooked fresh, topping up constantly as needed.

If you haven’t got a sea view, the bar opposite the main entrance (street view) is pretty noisy to 2.30am. Not a biggy for me and maybe quieter in the winter months as everyone will be inside the bar and not on the street when the weather is great

It was during on of our heatwaves and we had all the windows open so it was noisy but I think the problem was the weather moe than anything

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Perfectly placed in the middle of Weston Super Mare with easy access to shops, restaurants and transport. The room was clean and neat. The carvery was excellent.

Some staff were pleasant, but others were missing some empathy or the personal touch. The room was just ok and requires some attention. There was no plug on the fridge, the hallway light was left on bright through the night (and not lowered) so it was quite intrusive, the green light over the door was bright and quite intrusive so we had to cover it, there were not enough coat hangers (we had to buy some as reception told us they had none to give us), there was no top sheet on the bed (this would have been appropriate given the hot temperatures in the rooms during summer) and the plug didn't work in the sink. Very disappointing really given the cost.

The hotel has car parking free if you are a resident. On the sea front good access to the prom and good location.

Decor in room. Very dated bed not too comfy. Very noisy no air conditioning but fan provided. Got hit in the face with a trolley that flew out of its holder with the wind. It was not secure.

Beds are uncomfortable and the view from the family room is terrible. The bathroom was stinking.

We stayed in a room overlooking the street and water fountain, There was a karaoke bar and bar right opposite and the music was blasting till 2.30. Breakfast was ok but not the best, not much variety 1 type of egg, bacon was cold, sausage was hard, not much continental variety

Couldn’t sleep, didn’t get to sleep til 3am due to the room we were in opposite the local pubs, not ideal for a family

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok and the evening meal we had was lovely. The room was a good size and very clean . It was lovely sitting in the beer garden and the carvery was lovely.

I know it’s not the hotels fault but the noise from outside was very loud at night right through to the early hours.

Staff always fabulous, great location and enjoy the breakfast.

no air con, threadbare carpet, windows propped open with wood, corners not cleaned, especially in the bathroom, mattress and pillows not fit for purpose.

Shower had poor pressure, room and bathroom needs refurbishment. A fridge in room would of been nice. As our family room was at the front of the hotel it was very noisy at night ( Friday and Saturday) with bars very near by. Noisy most of the night... Beyond 3am 😔

The whole hotel was very 'tired' and needs a deep clean and refurbishment. Our room had dirty windows and green grime on the bathroom shower screen. This was reported but no action was taken.

Staff were excellent, friendly, informative and happy to help. Nice bar and lovely beer garden, well priced drinks.

Shower had very poor water pressure, no mini fridge or phone to contact reception. But nothing that would stop me staying there again.

The hotel was excellent .2.mins from seafront and most important Hotel parking a must .rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. Nice breakfast with large bar and gardens.

Receptionist was a bit grumpy, some areas of hotel were tired but ok, shower wasn’t great, bed was a bit soft.

We had a problem with a noisy room. 115. Staff member sorted next day. Apart from that issue, the stay was very good.

The hotel was in an excellent location with free parking which was a bonus. Our room was very clean and spacious with a lovely big bathroom. Ned was siper comfy. The views of the sea and the pier were a joy. The staff where wonderful, helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and beautiful view of the beach. The room was plenty big enough for a family of 4 to use as a base.

Convenient positioning for beach shops, and food outlets, short walk to all amenities, nice outside area , parking was free if staying in the hotel, could book the car on to car park before check in and had a couple of hours after departure, staff were helpful and friendly,stayed for two nights with grandchildren age two and seven years old,, would definitely return

The location was perfect for attending the WSM Shanty Festival and there was ample parking on site.

We booked a year in advance through booking.com , and expected a room with a good sea view and a large bed but received a small room overlooking the Vaults which is very noisy at weekends. When we asked to move to a seaview room, we were told we should have booked sooner when there may have been availability. There were no electric sockets anywhere near the bed, the TV was too small and it was not easy to get out of the narrow, high-sided bath / shower.

Lovely single room, beautifully clean and with excellent facilities. Very useful being adjacent to the lift as I have mobility problems and am not able to walk very far.

.Not terribly keen on its position overlooking the bins of the Vaults next-door.

Room was on the 'street' side of the hotel opposite a very noisy cafe/bar open until 3am. Difficult to rest until it closed.

Room was excellent. Lovely size and looked like it had just been decorated. So good.

All about sleep or lack of it. Bed in room was small which we could have lived with. The noise from in side and outside the hotel till late at night was horrendous. Very loud music followed by crowd over the road going on very loudly into the small hours.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were brilliant. The location could not have been better for parking, exploring and getting to the beach, pier and everything Weston had to offer. When I am in the area again I will be looking here first for availability.

The hotel, at the time, seemed to be in the middle of a refresh. by the luck of the drawer the family room we had opened up next to a karaoke bar, but luckily the little one is a heavy sleeper.

A nicely decorated and clean hotel

Breakfast. The selection of food was fine but the buffet fried breakfast was cold. Cold fried eggs, Cold bacon, Cold tomatoes. Nothings worse than a cold fried breakfast. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress I was more or less told of cause it is cold it's a buffet. Most hotels have a buffet breakfast but the eggs are cooked to order.

The hotel is situated right in the centre of Weston and they offer free parking for residents.

I think the breakfast is a bit overpriced.

Location is fabulous. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

The pillows! They are like bricks! Get the manager to sleep on one and see how their neck feels the next day!

My room was so noisy - opposite a bar and nightclub and the noise continued to post 2am even on a week night. It was also an incredibly hot room hence the need for the window to be open which let all the noise in.

Ideal location, just a few minutes stroll to the town centre, beach, and other attractions. Very comfortable, quiet, large en-suite room. Friendly, welcoming helpful staff. Very good customer service. Special mention to Izzy, who made our stay extra special with her invaluable help with our booking. Lovely bar, restaurant and huge beer garden. Very nice Hotel, and we look forward to our next visit soon. Recommended
