The street is Very noisy with loud cars racing up and down all night papping horns etc. I had to Google for the receptions phone number in the middle of the night so I could ask for more toilet roll as they hadn't placed a spare in the room.

I appreciate that I was staying at the hotel on a Saturday night on a Bank Holiday weekend, but paying £199 for the standard of room I had was absolutely extortionate. The room was really small, basic and had a stagnant, drain stench as soon as I entered the room. I was given basement room 7 and there was a loud boiler like sound in my room the entire night which meant that I had a poor night's sleep, even with ear plugs in. Some of the mugs were also dirty. Due to my late 11pm check-in, I didn't complain at the time but I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel and I won't be booking again.

Everything! Even though we had a room without a window, it was still very nice. Cozy vibes and comfortable. Upon arrival they told us we had been upgraded to a slightly bigger room which was a nice surprise. Definitely a good price and location. Owner was very knowledgeable and recommended places to go for a drink.

Se encuentra en una ubicación excepcional, muy céntrica y con bastantes servicios. Los recepcionistas son muy agradables e intentan arreglar siempre y ayudarte con cualquier cosa que te sucediese. Cuenta con plancha y secador, lo que es de agradecer.

Sin embargo, la calidad de los colchones deja mucho que desear. Algunos mejores que otros, pero en general muy endebles, los muelles se te clavan en el cuerpo y son bastante incómodos. Por otro lado, se encuentra cerca de algunos pubs con música en directo, por lo que si tu viaje no va enfocado a trasnochar, puede que el ruido perturbe tu descanso.

The hotel needs some renovations, the room was not very clean, and the bathroom was leaking. But the price was according to that.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the shops restaurants and bars. The room was big with plenty of space, beds were very uncomfortable, it was clean but could have been cleaner. Bathroom wcould have been cleaner.

It is not that i didn't like anything but the rooms could do with a good deep clean and a lick of paint to freshen them up

Rooms were not clean. I had to move rooms twice. First room was covered in dust with damp sheets and a mouldy smell, stains on bedding also. Second room was also dusty. Third room wasnt perfectly clean but passable. Shower floor sticky and shower had little warm water. Cleanliness in hallway was also lacking. Was certainly not worth the 232 euro paid.

We have stayed many times. The hotel is 1 min walk from pubs, restaurants, travel in any direction for local amenities and places of interest. Staff are friendly and willing to help if they can. We will definitely stay again.

There was no running water in the sink so we had to use bottled water to brush our teeth and wash our hands. The shower was weak and fixed....we were only there for one night...thank God!

Limpiaban las habitaciones más bien poco. El olor fuerte a humedad los primeros días, luego dejamos la ventana abierta y cambió algo la cosa. El wifi malísimo, o no iba o iba muy lento. La presión del agua y los cambios de temperatura.

Costo a nostro avviso sproporzionato, ariatore bagno non funziona. In camera interna alla struttura e senza finestra, a mio avviso, l'aria condizionata, funzionante, necessiterebbe di una maggiore igienizzazione.

Amabilidad de el recepcionista nos tenían la reserva preparada cuando llegamos nos dio la llave para subir directamente a la habitación. La habitación muy bien grande, limpia, el baño limpio y grande, las camas un poco blandas, la ubicación bien y había un parking cerca y barato. Nos guardaron las mochilas y maletas después de dejar la habitación muy amables y atentos.

The staff are super friendly, and the location is excellent for eating out and enjoying the nightlife. The room and bathroom are nothing special, but overall, it’s good value for money ;)

Overall, I had a good experience at this hotel, but the Wi-Fi could definitely be improved. The connection was quite poor in my room, and I also had no mobile signal. My room was on the ground floor and had no window, so perhaps that was the reason?

Check in was quick and friendly, directions to my room was easy. The room was small but adequate, the bathroom was the same size 🤷🏼‍♂️ It did however have all you would expect to find in a 4* hotel (kettle, hairdryer, iron & ironing board) no fridge though. The location was excellent, close to everything and very close to a street that had every type of eatery you could ask for!

The odour coming from the drains in the bathroom, it was really unbearable but I was there only for sleeping. There was no lift in the hotel which for me Was not a problem as I was on the ground floor (no windows) but for the two elderly ladies before me at check in, they had to carry their suitcases upto the 3rd floor. Not good guys!!!!

room was incredibly unclean. somebody's dirty underwear underwear the bed. dirty towel in bathroom. no coffee or spoons in room. only had 1 pillow and asked for others and were told to take cushions off the sofas and chair in dining room. incredibly uncomfortable sleep.

Very disappointing level of cleaning. Floors visibly dirty, placed a damp towel on the bathroom floor and it was grey when picked up. Mould visible along shower and sink tiles. Toilet seat did not fit toilet. Area under beds and behind furniture had not been cleaned. Old mattresses that were sunken and had springs protruding.

The property was well located near to main transport links and the city centre.

No hot water in the bathroom (en-suite), reported to the front desk and the receptionist seemed surprised. After reviewing several previous rating, it seems the lack of hot water is an ongoing issue. Disappointing and the reaction of the receptionist, shows a lack of honesty and willingness to have the issue sorted. Bar area and restaurant are limited enough and not somewhere to hangout, eat or socialise.

There was a bit of a flood the week we stayed there, which came into our room. But we were looked after fantastically well by the staff, and we're offered another upgraded room immediately. Hard working staff, and genuinely we were well impressed by them and the way they handled the situation.

Pros- EXCELLENT LOCATION you can take the train from the Manchester Airport to the Lime St Station in Liverpool, no connections. It took us about an 1:30 in the morning for the train ride. I do believe the times may vary. From the train station you have a few minute walk. I'm a fast walker but very easy just a block away. The hotel is also about a 5 min. walk from the Liverpool Central Station. There are two convenient stores right next to the hotel door. THE ROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!! We were so thankful for this, as we were there for the Open Championship and they were having unusual heat in the country. It would have been horrible without. They do have a bar and breakfast but we did not use these You can walk to bars, bars and more bars, restaurants, Matthews St. ( Beatles area) probably a 15 min. walk Staff is very nice, our room was ok. The pillows were a little flat, and the bed was an ok bed. There is no microwave or fridge. We were on the second floor, our room looked out over some junky area, but did not affect our stay. The area is very safe. BRING YOUR OWN WASH CLOTHES OR LOOFAH for showering, also bring your own shampoos, lotions. Bath soap was provided. CONS- No elevator ( for those that may need it, it was fine for us to carry our luggage.) The bathtub is very high and there are NO safety handles to hold on to, to get in and out of the shower. The bathtub looked to be new , and it was slippery. BE AWARE OF THIS IF YOU HAVE ANY DISABILITIES OR HAVE A HARD TIME LIFTING YOUR LEG OVER ABOUT 18 INCHES. A safety bar for everyone would be very helpful. We had a great stay, and will stay here again!

Super location, comfortable beds, big bath, good shower and the friendly hospitality. Use of the sitting area and left luggage facility were great too. Our plans meant we didn’t have breakfast but saw this was freshly cooked and looked very good.

It’s just not right that the lead photo for this hotel is a nice spacious modern double bedroom. That’s totally misleading to the point of willfully misdirecting and fleecing people. The staff were really nice though - that’s an important point to make. But the place is just not fit for purpose and should not be charging what it has charged. Tiny windowless box room in the basement with loud air con, thin walls and a cheap bag of springs mattress. It’s a hostel, really. Not a hotel. I don’t expect to hear another man urinating inches from my head when I stay in a hotel. Some people charge extra for that, but not me.
