Villa's facilities are beautiful

The days were unfortunately too hot in August, and there was no air conditioning. Keeping the windows open wasn’t really an option either, as the nearby road was quite noisy.

La qualité de l'accueil par la propriétaire est exceptionnelle. La décoration du restaurant et des chambres, la piscine dans le jardin et la qualité du petit déjeuner font de ce lieu un hôtel de charme à recommander absolument.

Rien, tout était parfait !

Es war ein wunderbares Aufenthalt, sehr sauber und einer herzlichen, professionelken Gastgeberin. Sehr leckeres Essen, frisch zubereitet mit teilweise Gemüse, Früchten und Kräutern aus dem eigenen Garten. ♥️

The hotel is conveniently close to the EOC hospital and the lovely garden and terrace is a little haven of peace to relax in.

It is on a busy road but the surrounding vegetation helps to reduce the noise or helps you forget about it.

Bardzo fajne miejsce na krotki odpoczynek w miescie Lugano.Duzym plusem jest ogrod i basen gdyz w upalne dni przynosi ulge w czasie gdy nie da sie zwiedzac przez temperature na zewnatrz.Przystanek pod samym hotelem wiec odleglosc od miasta nie sprawia zadnego utrudnienia.Bardzo czyste pokoje i mega wygodne lozko.Villa jest obslugiwana przez kilka uroczych pan ktore sa dostepne i chetne do pomocy.

Minusem jak dla mnie to bardzo ubogie sniadanie.Wiem ze wloska kultura prawie nie zjada sniadan ale jako turystka ktora lubi posiedziec przy kawie i pokosztowac roznosci jestem troche zawiedziona.Sniadanie podawane do stolu w postaci kilku plastrow sera i szynki to troche minimum.Fakt ze bardzo dobre jakosciowo produkty.Brak szweda to jednak duzy minus do zmiany.

Propriétaire et personnel chaleureux et attentionnés. Excellente cuisine maison (ainsi que les confitures du petit-déjeuner). Jardin et grande piscine agréable. Chambre confortable. Accès facile et rapide à la gare et au centre ville en bus.

Die Gastgeberin sowie das Personal waren sehr freundlich. Alles war sauber und das Essen sehr lecker. Nachdem wir ausgecheckt hatten, durften wir trotzdem noch einige Zeit im Garten/am Pool verbringen. Wir sind mit unserem 6-Jährigen gereist umd hatten das Gefühl, dass Kinder willkommen sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Herzlichen Dank! <3

Hotel familial très agréable, bien situé (bus gratuit juste en face). Nous avons pu découvrir Lugano et ses environs sans problème. Le restaurant est vraiment excellent, à ne pas rater ! Wanda est très disponible pour répondre aux questions et parle français :)

Nette und freundliches Personal, die sauberen Zimmer, der Swimming Pool, das gute Frühstück und der kostenlose Parkplatz.

Die Zufahrt zum Hotelparkplatz ist schlecht beschrieben.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Air condition would have made it a 10. Lovely garden and amazing food!

Beautiful gardens, excellent staff and nice breakfast (at an additional cost).

Air conditioner does not operate between 18:30 till 21:30 (due to working ovens). This was not mentioned on booking. Towels were clean but very rough.

En lite oas mitt i stan som vi varmt kan rekommendera. Rent och fräscht. Väldigt trevlig och serviceinriktad personal/ägare. Härligt poolområde och trädgård.

Det enda är att vi hade uppskattat ett kokt ägg till frukost, annars har vi inget att klaga på.

vorzügliches Essen sehr schöne Lage

Lokatie was prima. Bovenop een heuvel. Mooi uitzicht. Zwembad en zonneweide met bedden en stoelen. Ontbijt was goed. Host erg vriendelijk.

Wij zijn te kort geweest om te zien/ merken of iets tegen valt. De eerste dag zijn er naar beneden gelopen en ook weer omhoog, best ver en pittig! Gelukkig hadden we de volgende dag een -gratis- buskaart 😅

Der Garten ist wunderschön, ein kleines Juwel. Der Pool einen Schwumm wert und die Gastgeberin sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

L'hôtel est bien situé, propre et confortable. Le top est à la cuisine. Ne passez pas à côté des repas au restaurant. C'est du fait maison, des produits locaux et beaucoup d'amour...

la proximité de la rue fait qu'on ne peut pas dormir fenêtre ouverte, mais il y a la climatisation...

Zimmer sind sauber.

La gentillesse de la propriétaire et du personnel. Le repas a été divin. Une entrée burrata betterave framboise orange que je n’oublierai jamais. La meilleure entrée dégustée de tous les voyages. Le double vitrage ne laisse aucun son passer depuis l’extérieur, même côté route. Une très belle expérience vécue.

Все было замечательно! Чистота просто супер! Очень красивый отель с замечательным садом. Месторасположение хорошое,конечно же удобно на автобусе возвращаться,так как обратно из центра идти в гору. Но,это я лентяйка. Так как идти 10/15 минут. Но,самое главное сотрудники и хозяйка этого отеля. У вас возникает чувства что вы приехала к своим родственникам. Спасибо им огромное.

С оплатой не понятно было. У меня то ли сняли то ли заблокировали средства на карте до заезда и я там ещё раз заплатила. Но,к счастью деньги вернулись через несколько дней, те что,в начале сняли. И ещё поскольку у меня карта в долларах, то,я платила в них. И хозяйку это расстроила,она почему то подумала что я меньше заплатила,мне было очень неудобно перед ней, хотя я заплатила 244 доллара вместо 158 франков,то есть, все перевели по курсу на тот день и она должна получить на свой счёт 158 франков. Единственный не понятный момент, как то ушла с чувством что, она расстроилась и может решила что я не добросовестная. Надеюсь,деньги ей пришли в полном объёме и она увидела что это не так.

Super gelegen und mit der Ticino Card —Bushaltestelle vor dem Haus—alles gut erreichbar Freundliches Personal und sehr hilfsreiche ,freundliche Besitzerin!Leckeres Frühstück, leider kamen wir nicht in den Genuss vom Nachtessen da Sonntags geschlossen Park vom Hotel kleine erholsame Oase zum Relaxen mitten in Lugano Wer rustikales liebt ist hier am rechten Ort!

Chefin und Personal sehr zuvorkommend, das Zimmer und Dusche sehr schön und sehr sauber. Das Essen war ein kulinarischer Genuss. Die Gartenanlage mit vielen Blumen und Gewürzen wunderbar.

Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich, Bushaltestelle direkt bei der Unterkunft, Personal und Chefin sehr bemüht und nett, Bad und Zimmer waren äußerst sauber und ansprechend.

L'emplacement était parfait pour découvrir la ville de Lugano, le petit déjeuner était très bon et surtout les confitures faites maison par la propriétaire! Tout le monde à été très gentil et serviable, je recommande à 100%!

Everything was perfect, I’m definitely felt myself home, really cozy and friendly place 😍, especially convenient beds with soft mattress and light duvet .

What a beautiful oasis of a location! Just 12 minutes’ walk from the train station, or only a couple of minutes by bus #4, which leaves right from the station, drops you off practically at the front door of the hotel, and runs often. The small hotel itself is so charming and gemütlich - you walk down a long path covered by a grapevine arbor to the entrance, where you’re greeted immediately. The gardens on the property are not only beautiful, they are functional! Fresh flowers decorate every table in the dining room and every floor of the hotel, and meals are completed with fresh fruits and vegetables picked right outside the door. Wanda was a wonderful host, and she and her kitchen staff put together some unforgettable meals. I hope you have a chance to try the quail with fresh plums, the handmade pasta, or the freshly churned ice cream. Be sure to ask for a room with a view - it was stunning! We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but other guests really enjoyed. Comfortable beds, spotless rooms, and a warm atmosphere made this place truly unglaublich!! Thank you, Wanda.

De tudo, local familiar, estadia boa, comida ótima, funcionárias super simpáticas, a dona do hotel muito simpática também. Recomendo tudo muito limpo Piscina excelente

Dos mosquitos e melgas, com o calor, havia muito. Mas fora isso excelente

Serene rust. Kamers zijn basic, veel wit, maar bed is goed en badkamer ook. Personeel is vriendelijk. Zit dicht bij het station maar toch midden in de rust. Eten is perfect, vooral de zelfgemaakte ijs. In de tuin kan je lekker ontspannen en kamers zijn geluidsdicht, had het gevoel alleen te zijn in het hotel.

Handig om te weten dat er op zondag geen diner is. Als je voor de ingang staat dan zit links een trap omhoog en daar kan je als gast naar binnen met je sleutel. Er zitten wel veel muggen in de omgeving dus raam dicht houden en buiten muggenspray gebruiken.

Schönes, kleines Hotel, liegt sehr ruhig und grün, obwohl mitten in der Stadt. Auf angenehme Weise altmodisch. Sehr schöner Garten mit relativ großem Pool. Ausgezeichnetes Abendessen, mit erstklassigen Weinen, von der Chefin kundig vorgeschlagen. Insgesamt eine überraschende, sehr angenehme Erfahrung.

impossibile utilizzare la piscina e le aree esterne per la presenza incessante di zanzare, i cuscini durissimi e il letto di dimensioni non standard ( ho dormito con i piedi fuori ), pietanze non all'altezza del prezzo pagato ( 241 euro contando anche una bottiglia da 50 euro, l'unica più abbordabile, due antipasti e tre primi che meritavano ancora dai 5 ai sei minuti di cottura) mangiate con posate in argento come ci è stato fatto notare con grande soddisfazione dalla cameriera ...ma francamente chi se ne importa, avrei preferito mangiare bene.

Loved this place, a last minute stopover that felt so welcoming. Extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and a magnificent breakfast complete with homemade jams! Id definitely go back.

Très jolie surprise en arrivant dans cet hôtel familial, niché dans un coin de verdure. L'ambiance est celle d'une maison de famille, avec des meubles anciens et une superbe piscine située dans un magnifique jardin. La chambre était simple, mais très confortable et d'une propreté irréprochable, avec une jolie vue sur le jardin. La propriétaire est adorable. Nous avons dîné à l'hôtel, le repas était succulent avec des recettes locales et des produits du jardin. Les glaces maison sont incroyables. Pour Lugano, c'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Очень милый частный отель с садом и бассейном. Везде очень чисто, прекрасные виды из окна. Тихий район, при этом довольно близко к центру Лугано. Приятнейшая хозяйка, спокойная, вежливая. Бесплатная парковка, нам всегда было где встать. WiFi работает на всей территории отеля, кроме бассейна. К слову, бассейн хоть и небольшой, но чистый и уютный, рядом лужайка, столики и лежаки, мне понравилось. Завтрак это 4 вида мучных изданий, джемы (в тч домашнего приготовления), масло, сыр/ветчина и горячий и холодный напиток на выбор. Хороший сытный завтрак, правда, на 4 день поднадоел :) но вроде можно и по меню отдельно заказывать еду на завтрак, я про это сразу не спросила. Предоставляют Tichino ticket, помимо бесплатного общественного транспорта это еще и 20% скидка в музеи и фуникулер

Мне не хватало холодильника, чтобы хранить та ми йогурты и фрукты. Но я знала об этом заранее, это указано в описании комнаты.

La Villa est très bien située proche de tout. C'est un havre de paix en ville. La gentillesse de la propriétaire et du personnel m'a donnée l'impression d'être chez des amis. Très bon dîner avec produits du terroir. Bravo je vais revenir professionellement et en famille.

Petit bémol horaire de la piscine mais on peut comprendre car c'est par soucis de comfort et quiétude pour tous les invités

I loved this place, so happy we found it, very beautiful house, garden and swimming pool. And owner creates relaxing and cosy atmosphere. One evening we had dinner there and it was the best dinner from our trip. Breakfast is simple, but served in very nice room, perfect start for the day. Would definitely like to return there.

This is a lovely little place, green and quiet with a pool garden. The lady, Wanda is a personality and takes great care of her guests.

Beautiful grounds, flowers, plants and trees. Nice restaurant on ground floor. Breakfast was very nice. Clean modern bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, good television.

Lovely little hotel with beautiful garden and excellent pool (mountain view!) close enough to Lugano centre and lake with all its activities. Very welcoming host, who also runs a good restaurant on the property. Compared to other accommodations in Lugano reasonably priced. Free parking on site. Also, we were given a Ticino-ticket by the host which gives you free public transport and a discount on the funiculaire. We had a great 3 night stay and would stay here again when in the area!

Rooms are small and basic without a balcony or tarrace but we knew that in advance. Some rooms have aircon some don’t (we were fortunate to have a room with aircon). It’s a bit of a walk to the lake and city centre (and back, uphill!) but that wasn’t a problem for us (especially with free bus service)

The hotel was very nice and cosy with a well-sized pool set in a beautiful garden and against an amazing backdrop. The hotel staff was very friendly and smiley and eager to help out.

The hotel staffs language knowledge did not include English and, except for the owner, just a little bit of French. We managed to find Portuguese as a common language but it might be good to know that they mostly speak Italian and German. Carrying our luggage up by myself for several sets of stairs, no elevator, was not exactly what I had hoped for after a day of train travels. However doable, it's important to mention that this hotel is not for those who can't handle stairs. We had beach towels with us on this trip, but for those who travel without the lack of pool towels is a pity in such a nice place. The fried food smell from the restaurant when we came back to the hotel the first evening was not very pleasing, but understandable considering that the hotel includes a popular restaurant with a great looking menu.

We loved this place. Pool was great, breakfast good and dinner amazing. Very friendly host, and our room was newly renovated and comfortable. Air-conditioning an extra plus.

A bit of noice from the road, but when windows were closed it was not a problem.
