Loved my stay here, I extended for 10 days and stayed in both rooms, the smaller room is cozy and great for short stays, the upstairs larger room is very clean and spacious, I slept amazing, truly a great place to stay for the price, convenient location in the center of Ubud and the family that runs it is super sweet and helpful. I will definitely stay here again

Très jolie chambre, suffisamment en dehors de la ville pour qu'on profite du calme, mais suffisamment près pour profiter du centre à pied en environ 10 min. La chambre avec balcon a une jolie vue.

Ich wurde sehr herzlich Empfangen und es war rund um die Uhr jemand erreichbar. Das Frühstück war köstlich und man konnte dieses im Garten genießen. Es ist sehr zentral gelegen, dennoch ist es sehr ruhig und ich konnte gut schlafen.

A wonderful place to stay in Ubud. The homestay has beautiful balinese architecture and garden, which is an experience by itself. Well located in Ubud centre, calm, clean. Family hosts were kind and helpful. We recommand.

Great stay run my a friendly family. The beds are confortable and everything is taken care of nicely on the appartment. The place is just a 10 minutes walk from the main street of Ubud, but a lot less busy. Despite an occosianal dog barking it's completely silent during the nigut.

Walking distance from the centre of Ubud, but still very quiet and peaceful. Inside a beautiful Balinese home. Big spacious and clean room with terrace, and the price is very reasonable. The owner is also lovely, very responsive, and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return!

Room was very comfy, including the bed. The location was a short walk to main street, but far enough away for quiet, which we loved. The shower for us was only lukewarm, BUT that's nice because it's so hot!

Internet was very choppy, which was a tad annoying.

Je suis restée 10 jours, les draps n'ont pas été changés, je n'ai pas demandé non plus. Pensez donc à demander pour changer les draps si vous le souhaitez pour les séjours prolongés

Très bon emplacement légèrement excentré du centre ville c’était donc très calme. Le personnel est adorable et a été aux petits soins avec nous. La chambre était propre et le lit confortable. Le jardin est très beau. Nous avons pu faire laver du linge ce qui était très arrangeant.

Lovely and caring people. The location is perfect. Close to the centre but very quiet. You don’t hear any motorcycles. The breakfast is good. They even get me #TAXI to the airport in a very good price. The room was clean and smell good and the price was very good for iall of it 🇨🇦

Suci and her family are incredibly warm and kind people. It’s a family property where a big family lives and rents out rooms. The feeling is like you become part of the family. I stayed there for a week and would have happily stayed longer, but the room was already booked a month in advance. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything and for such a warm welcome 🤍

Really good value for money. It is close to Ubud Center but not directly so you don’t hear the noise. The included breakfast was very tasty (much better than the usual Bali breakfast) and saved me a lot of time.

It’s not exactly at the location saved in booking.com, it’s a bit closer to the center.

Very nice, friendly family. The room is spacious and bright. There's a refrigerator and electric kettle also. The breakfast was included and was served whenever you like. The room was very clean.

Very nice place to stay, on a huge traditional family property, luxurious room on the upper floor, nice breakfast, very friendly owners. The center and warungs/shops are in walking distance.

There is nothing to complain about. It's a pity how people can give bad reviews at such a open-hearted and special family owned place. Very safe place, absolutely no need for more than one lock at the door ;-)

Wonderful property - so clean, quiet and close to shops and restaurants. The architecture is stunning and the traditional Balinese designs are absolutely beautiful. This is such a nice place, I highly recommend.

Re lindo alojamiento, muy cerca de la calle principal pero también un poco protegido de los ruidos del centro. Está muy bien para conectar con la ruta a las terrazas. A destacar la hermosa atención de Suci, nos ayudó con el traslado y nos hizo el desayuno muuuuy temprano para poder llegar.. gracias a ella 🙏🏻 un lugar muy recomendable

Fantastic place in a very nice family (home stay), quiet and relatively close to the centre (10 minutes to the main street down the road). Tasty breakfast brought to the room at the desired time.

I would add a kettle in the room and side beds lamps.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Kanaka House in Ubud sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Leider bin ich während des Aufenthalts krank geworden – sofort wurde ein Arzt organisiert und sie hätten mich sogar ins Krankenhaus gefahren, wenn nötig. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt bei der Familie, was eine besonders warme und persönliche Atmosphäre schafft. Das Frühstück ist köstlich: frische Früchte mit Omelett oder Pancakes sowie Kaffee oder Tee. Am Nachmittag gibt es, wenn man möchte, sogar noch ein Stück Kuchen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Very authentic Location was perfect ; close to Ubud center 10’ walk but away from crowd and noise Kindness of the hosts Breakfast was nice; fresh fruit, eggs and toast and coffee - delivered at the desired time at the room, on a small terrace in front of the room with a view on the garden We arrived late from the airport and they stood up to welcome us very kindly - thank you again! Air conditioning and WIFI worked perfectly

Breakfast was simple and delicious, with a great selection of fresh fruit. Suci and her family were friendly and helpful. She gave recommendations for daily activities, which I appreciated. The room was cleaned every day and the bathroom floor was mopped during cleaning, so it's dry after showers. Water bottles were provided daily, and the Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. I'm especially glad I chose the room with the balcony, it was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and the afternoon breeze.

Great location but at the same time quiet place. Great hospitality, they made us breakfast every morning and brought it to the room. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcomy was also very big and cozy. Recommend it highly. Thank you for everything!

I had a fantastic experience staying in the room on the second floor — I even extended my stay three times! The location is perfect, right in the center of Ubud, and the in-house atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The host and her lovely family were incredibly kind and helpful. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast and positive vibes all around. The balcony offers a beautiful view of Ubud's iconic red rooftops, which made the stay even more special. The host also offers convenient services like laundry and motorbike rentals, and they even have silver-making master classes on-site — a unique and fun experience. The host Ms Suci was very warm and welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. She rented us a scooter, helped with laundry and booking tours. The rooms were clean with a good air conditioning and a comfortable large bed. The location is not very far from the Ubud art market and can be reached by a few mins of walk. The breakfast was good as well. There are quite a few warungs, supermarkets and restaurants on the street. Will definitely visit here again.

We had an amazing day at this place in Ubud. The hosts are so kind and attentive, we arrived very late after a delayed flight and they still welcomed us in. The morning breakfast of fruit and eggs on toast was great. The room is huge and has a lovely balcony and view. If you are in Ubud you have to stay here!

lovely host, it was obvious she wanted you to have an enjoyable stay and really cared to ensure you were comfortable and welcomed.

I loved staying at that room so much!! It's spacious, light, beautiful furniture and overall very comfortable (I slept sooo well there). The location is great, very central, but quiet, located right next to the beautiful family temple. The energy of that place feels really good and the owners are outstandingly friendly and welcoming! Everyday I got an amazing breakfast that was adapted to my dietary needs with so much love. Honestly I would have never left this room if it wasn't booked already after my stay.

Simple, minimalist room. Very comfortable bed, air conditioner is strong and clean. Nice desk for work. Wifi is ok. Shower is inside the toilet area like most traditional Balinese homes. SuChi, her husband and her boy are lovely people. A delicious breakfast every morning. They are so kind and nice. They always offered to clean the room. Also nice closet space and Suchi works at the Laundromat near by as well if you need laundry done.

WiFi could be better but it was sufficient for basic work. Mosquito net for the bed would be nice for us delicate foreigners.

It's simple, walking distance to town. Clean, comfortable bed, cheap, breakfast was fine eggs on toast and fruit.

Nothing, albeit, I'm not sure how many people can stay there as tourists as it's strangely set up it's really a home stay that's not in a home. But it's clean, well priced and close to town and cheap restaurants

I felt ill, and the owners were very caring, brought food, offered doctor, and so on. I am very grateful. The room on the 1st floor was simple, nice and clean Booking shows the map location close to Parq, in reality it was much closer to the main road and center, just 10 minutes of walking

Lovely homestay near the centre of Ubud. Suci and her family are friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The room itself was perfect with a bathroom and toilet en-suite. The house is ideally located, a 10-min walk to the very centre of Ubud which means that it’s very accessible while being quiet enough and away from all the crowds. Suci can also arrange laundry and airport transfer service if needed. 10/10 would recommend staying in Kanaka House

The room is spacious and filled with natural light, making it a very comfortable place to stay. The Wi-Fi connection is perfect, with no issues at all. It's wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The hosts are an adorable couple, and they go above and beyond by bringing freshly cut fruits every day. On top of that, the room is cleaned every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy.

There’s really nothing negative to say! However, as a small suggestion, adding two bedside lamps would make the room absolutely perfect.

The owners are lovely and very helpful! They fixed with airport pick up and meet me when I arrived in the middle of the night. Wonderful people! The property is in walking distance to the town centre and the monkey forest. You can rent a scooter at the property and go to the rice terrace. It’s in a nice and calm area. Could eat breakfast on the terrace. The property is clean and fresh. It’s air conditioning in the room.

I absolutely loved my stay at Kanaka House and I to stay again next time I am in Ubud. Suci is such a sweet and helpful host, she is so caring and attentive. Both rooms on the property are lovely. I stayed in the smaller room and it had a big comfortable bed, was clean and i really love Kanana House and the surrounds. Its a family compound with 2 rooms rented out to travellers. The temple, gardens and surrounds were so lovely. The breakfast brought to my room was great. Suci arranged a scooter for me and left an offering on the scooter for my protection. Its in the heart of Ubud but set back off the main street so really peaceful. Everything was perfect and it was definitely value for money, in fact I think they are offering it too cheap, its worth a lot more

Got a fresh coconut for breakfast everyday!! Family is super kind and made sure that i was happy all the time. The room is big and has AC. Would def. Come here again
