Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Location convenient, 3 bedrooms great, Unit warm. Met our needs for three generations of one family. Quiet! Would consider using it again, for a family group. Would suggest it to others if asked.
Shower not great, TV not good on TV1, drive narrow to park car. Lack of instructions regarding towels, we washed and reused. More tea towels? Instructions could be better, found rubbish bins confusing regarding blue lidded bin.

Dark interior. Little sunlight. Toilet seat was unusual. Shower over bath.Tv reception not always good.

The shower has issues: the hot water is inconsistent. The other taps work just fine, but the shower tap does not deliver hot water reliably. We had to keep adjusting it to get some hot water, only for it to be lost again at random. At times it becomes too hot, and the point at which the temperature is comfortable is never the same. The bedrooms also get too hot in the evening due to direct sun exposure.

For a 3 bedroom house (we had 2 vehicles) the parking could of been limited if we did need to use only guest parking.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2025The apartment was spacious, comfortable, very nicely furnished and equipped, with comfy beds. The kitchen was excellent, and had everything needed to make holiday cooking relaxing. So good to have the essentials, such as cooking oil and a full litre of milk. It was especially handy to have a dishwasher and a washing machine. Our hosts were friendly and very thoughtful, and popped round to supply washing powder on our arrival. There was a nice deck and lovely garden, and the location was peaceful.
The place was very lovely. There was nothing we didn't like. Only thing to note was that the bathroom sink drain was slow - but really no issue.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025We really liked the location which is close to Tahunanui beach. Also the house had plenty of space and it had all the facilities amenities we need. Owners were in upstairs and reachable. Everything has been clearly advised. Nice little hideout back of the house to walking. If we come to Nelson again this would be our first preference 😊
