Très belle établissement, le personnel était très à l’écoute et le logement est très bien situé. Nous avons adoré ce séjour pour souligner notre lune de miel!

In the heart of old port downtown Chania. You can walk everywhere. The beach, dinner & shopping! We were welcomed with a large fruit basket and it was delicious. Clean towels and cleaning daily. Air conditioning worked well

Everything. The apartment is exactly as advertised—beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, spacious, and very well equipped. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of Chania Old Town, restaurants, and the harbour, while still being quiet and peaceful. The host was exceptional, incredibly responsive, welcoming, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. It truly felt like a luxury home away from home.

Apartment was overall so nice! Beautiful decoration and a comfortable bed. Owner has added a special touch by offering all the possible amenities from sleeping mask to cloth steamer. Quiet but central location. Amazing breakfast was offered in nearby local restaurant. Flexible and friendly owner. We loved this place, would recommend 100%.

Liked everything. Steep stairs might be a challange with heavy luggage, however they were easy to climb.

Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral, direkt in der Altstadt von Chania gelegen. Zudem war es sehr sauber und es wurde an viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten gedacht. Der Check-In war auch noch nach den offiziellen Zeiten problemlos möglich.

Ein sehr modernes, helles und gemütliches Apartment in mitten der Altstadt Chanias. Im Apartment fanden wir zur Begrüßung eine Schale mit Obst, 1 Flasche Wasser und 1 Flasche Wein vor, sowie 2 Kapseln Kaffee für unseren 1. Morgen 😊 Es gibt einen schmalen Balkon zum Sitzen mit Blick auf die Kirche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und Starvos war unaufdringlich, aber immer erreichbar und fast täglich wurde sauber gemacht. Wir würden dieses Apartment unbedingt weiterempfehlen, Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in der malerischen Stadt Chania und danken Starvos für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Gehbehinderten Menschen und Personen über 70 würden wir aufgrund der schmalen und vielen Treppen dieses Apartment nicht empfehlen. Es war bereits für uns, Mitte 50 😉, etwas mühselig mit unseren großen Koffern die vielen Treppen zum Apartment hinauf und auch die schmale und steile Wendeltreppe zum Schlafbereich ist etwas gefährlich.

Beautiful apartment with kitchenette in excellent location.

Booked late and didn’t hear from them until the next day so wasn’t able to enter or stay the first night. Could not get refund but they let me have another night free. Unfortunately also changed the codes the second day and communication was poor. They do not use whatsapp. Would make sure you are aware of any changes for entering the property every few hours so you don’t get stuck outside. Otherwise nice place.

Das Boutique-Appartement war außergewöhnlich schön und luxuriös eingerichtet (extra Wohn-/Couchbereich mit kleinem Balkon, super ausgestattete Küche mit Obst, Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und einer Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung, schönes Bad, Doppelbett eine Etage höher) und sehr sauber. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hatte bereits für die Schlüsselübergabe auf uns gewartet. Das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück gab es in einem Café nebenan. Das Appartement liegt direkt in der Fußgängerzone in der Altstadt, öffentliche Parkmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig gut erreichbar.

A wonderfully classy apartment in the heart of Chania that has a beautiful high quality interior and is well equipped. Perfect location to explore the city. What a treat! The owner was so attentive and made our stay delightful. With breakfast included at the local Red Bicycle which oozed Cretan ambience, highly recommended. Taxi drop off five minutes away.

Très bel appartement. Propre , beau , agréable. Rien ne manque. Emplacement en plein centre de la vieille ville mais la rue est calme . Petit déjeuner très copieux et au choix dans un bar restaurant juste à coté. Vraiment un très beau logement pour visiter la ville et la région Nous aurons grand plaisir à y séjourner à nouveau.

Un logement à la décoration soignée, tous les équipements offerts par un établissement de standing (corbeille de fruits et vin, lisseur cheveux, produit anti moustique, chaussons, peignoirs.. ) et situé dans le centre historique proche de tout.

Ce sont des détails non rédhibitoires: le lit sur mezzanine avec un accès par des petites marches glissantes, peu confortable si vous vous réveillez dans la nuit. Le clocher qui sonne à 7h le dimanche. Le stationnement à trouver dans des rues éloignées.

Initially, a little hard to navigate to at night if you don’t know your way.

Everything was perfect, like the photos. Very clean, nice decor in a central location. The kitchen was stocked with fruit and juice, the bathroom had everything from shaving kits to hair straightener. Stavros was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

It’s was a beautiful spot in the heart of Chania! Very beautiful apartment and the host was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional in the red bicycle and the staff there were also very kind! The hospitality of the host mr Stavros was fantastic! We couldn’t ask for more ! The bells in the morning it’s something that most people don’t like or know but for us the Greeks it’s something that reminds us our house, because in every village there is a church and it’s part of our lifes to hear the bells ringing with happy tones. Thanks for this beautiful stay in Crete ❤️

Everything was perfect!

The communication from the very beginning was friendly, professional, and very personal. After booking through Booking.com, we were also supported by a management agency that seemed to coordinate the stay on behalf of the owner. Their messages were clear, helpful, and well organized, which made the preparation and arrival very easy. The arrival itself was smooth. Finding the exact location of the accommodation required a little attention, though. The key landmark is a small minimarket located between the apartments and the nearby hotel. We actually stood in front of a minimarket already—but on the wrong side—so it’s helpful to pay close attention to that detail. What we especially appreciated was the personal dedication of the host. Despite the agency assisting with the communication, the contact still felt warm and personal, and he was even reachable by phone at 9 pm, which we really appreciated. The breakfast concept with the partner restaurant was a brilliant solution. The food was excellent and truly first-class. Another detail that really stood out was that the bed was made every day, which is something we haven’t seen in an apartment for quite a long time. That level of service was impressive. There were also nice little amenities and thoughtful touches for guests, and everything we needed was available. Some hotels could actually learn from this approach. The host truly delivers what is promised: luxury – but in an apartment setting. We were genuinely impressed. Thank you very much.

The description of how to find the minimarket could be improved. A few photos would make it much easier to locate the exact entrance. The entrance is directly next to “Anastasia – Handmade Art” and is a white door, which would be much easier to identify if shown visually. It would also be helpful to have a small brochure or information sheet in the apartment with the most important details (for example the Wi-Fi password and basic information about the stay). Since we arrived late at night around 11 pm, we preferred not to call again when the Wi-Fi password initially didn’t work. A second key card would also have been very convenient in case two guests want to go out separately. However, we did not ask for one, so it might have been available on request.

Η διαμονή μας στο El Campanil στα Χανιά ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη! Από την πρώτη στιγμή νιώσαμε άνετα και ευπρόσδεκτοι. Ο χώρος είναι πανέμορφος, προσεγμένος μέχρι την παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια και συνδυάζει άψογα αισθητική και άνεση. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, που μας επέτρεψε να απολαύσουμε στο έπακρο την πόλη και τις ομορφιές των Χανίων. Η φιλοξενία ήταν εξαιρετική, με άμεση εξυπηρέτηση και πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον για να περάσουμε όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερα. Περάσαμε όλοι πάρα πολύ όμορφα και μείναμε απόλυτα ικανοποιημένοι από κάθε άποψη. Σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά!

Το κατάλυμα μας άφησε πολύ ευχαριστημένους, η τοποθεσία του ήταν στο κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης των Χανίων. Το πιο βασικό για εμάς ήταν ότι η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν φανταστική, το κατάλυμα είχε πολλές παροχές ήταν πολύ καλαίσθητο και πεντακάθαρο.

Stavros is a wonderful host and the space is pristine in every way. The photos accurately depict the style and beautiful design. “Luxury Living” is a well earned title.

Все було супер , дуже дякуємо власнику за затишне місце для відпочинку. Обов'язково порадимо друзям. Чисті кімнати, запашні рушники, джакузі , красивий дизайн апартаментів. Особливо вразило , що в номері були навіть утюжок для волосся , аптечка і гігієнічні засоби жіночі. Все було неперевершено. Обов'язково повернемось.

This accommodation is conveniently located in the heart of Old Town, right next to a mini market. The space is beautifully designed - straight out of a magazine - and filled with natural light. It was great having TVs both in the living area and the sleeping space, as well as the option to relax in the sun on the balcony. The property is well-equipped with amenities for a comfortable stay in Chania and is within walking distance of the main bus station, which provides easy access to the airport, nearby cities, beaches, and more. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Even during the hustle and bustle of travelers and vendors on the streets below, it was very quiet.

The upstairs sleeping area can be inconvenient, as you need to go up and down the stairs to access the bathroom at night. It’s not ideal for guests with mobility or accessibility issues. The shower tends to splash water onto the bathroom floor, and there are quite a few stairs to climb when carrying luggage to the apartment.

Sehr, sehr empfehlenswert. Sympathischer Kontakt und alles genauso wie annonciert. Richtig schön und wunderbar für einen Aufenthalt in Chania. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft an unsere Freunde.

Wir hatte einen rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Appartement! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die freundliche und hilfsbereite Unterstützung des Vermieters Stavros – er war jederzeit erreichbar, hat bei Fragen sofort geholfen und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben. Ich kann dieses Appartement absolut weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder! Das Frühstück gleich um die Ecke im red bicycle war lecker und vor allem dank der netten Bedienung, ein absolut entspannter Start in den Tag.

We had a great experience. The rooms were exactly like the photos - a beautiful place in a perfect location. The host, Stavros, was super welcoming and nice; he helped us find the best place to park our car and gave us lots of tips about the region.

The interior was beautiful! Lovely stone and everything felt new. The hot tub was a wonderful treat with a view to the mountains- the property is not overlooked so you can appreciate the view whilst bathing! Even though we were in the town centre the balcony got sun all afternoon it was wonderful for sunbathing. The location was perfect in the heart of everything - breakfast was great right on the doorstep and the staff were so friendly. We love Chania and will recommend the place. We appreciated the extra hospitality on refreshments and fruit on arrival Thank you

Church bells waking us up at 730am onward. We were adjusting time zone changes, nothing you can do about it just maybe put it in remarks haha!! Couldn’t use hot water in tub or next day shower and electricity went out at night once.

We were met by Stavros who took us to the property and took our cases up the stairs to our apartment. He was a great host and always contactable with good information for beaches and restaurants etc. The apartment was beautiful and cleaned every day. The location was fantastic, central to the port and town. The breakfast was good too at a near by cafe.

Location was good and although in a very busy paedestrian street, there was no noise at all with all windows closed. Wi Fi was very good and Netflix, Prime etc were also provided. Not sure if it's mentioned, but the appartment is absolutely unsuitable for elderly people or for those having difficulties climbing up 36 narrow stair steps.

Breakfast was at a near by restaurant and was poor. The appartment had a few shortages, like water glasses, shower gel and only two espresso capsules/day. During check in, we were REPEATEDLY told not to leave the air condition on and second key was given to us reluctantly

Loved the central location and the attention to detail. The spa was an added bonus!

Notre séjour chez Stavros a été parfait en tout point de vue. Tout d'abord notre accueil par Stavros. Ill est d'une extrême gentillesse et nous a aidé pour un problème qui aurait pu gâcher notre séjour. Merci au petit cadeau à l'arrivée. Le logement est idéalement situé et conforme aux photos. Tout a été pensé pour que l'on ne manque de rien. Petit plus un nettoyage chaque jour avec changement de serviette est fait. Le petit déjeuner pris dans un café juste en bas du logement avec un choix de 3 formules est plus que copieux et vraiment bon. Merci encore pour tout.

Location is great with a stunning balcony view. Beautiful apartment, cleaned every day. Very nice breakfast included. Stavros was extremely helpful and responsive!

Only one key provided which made it tricky. The one key turns on the power in the apartment, so if someone wants to go out with the key( for a walk, etc.) the person who remains will not have power or air conditioning. We were only given one key, but did not ask for a second… maybe they would have given us one, but I’m not sure. This would be a good question to ask.

We stayed here for one week and absolutely loved it. The apartment itself is exceptionally designed – beautiful interior that looks just like the pictures, giving a really pleasant and stylish experience. Everything we needed was provided: toiletries, fresh towels every day, beach towels, kitchen utensils… basically everything you could want on a vacation. The cleanliness was outstanding, with the apartment cleaned every day. There’s also a great breakfast deal with the café/restaurant just downstairs, which was very convenient. The owner was very kind, easy to reach, and always helpful with information and good advice. Honestly, this stay was better than my experience at a 5-star hotel the week before. Highly recommended!

It's a beautiful apartment in the heart of Chania. The owner was very nice and helpful showing us places to park our rental car. If you are looking to stay in Chania this is the place you want.

The Host was exceptional. The location was amazing! The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. A delicious breakfast was included!! When we had an issue with grabbing a taxi, the host helped us getting back from were we were located

We had an issue with the water supply and the shower draining. NONE of this was the host's fault. It was an issue with the neighborhood's water system. The host did everything to make sure that we had what we needed and kept us informed of the status of the problem.

Design, cleanliness, attention to detail. The owner was wonderful and helpful in all aspects. From the living areas to the kitchen areas, we had everything we could have needed for our stay. I could easily recommend staying here and would return again.

The hallway did feel a little smelly

Stavros was very helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The location was amazing being in the heart of the old town with shops and restaurants at our door step. Although at night things were very quiet so sleeping was easy. The stay felt luxurious and we felt like we paid a very fair price. It was nice to come back to a big space after a long day of walking around rather than coming back to a hotel with just a small bedroom.

The only complaint was the church bell at 7am but not much you can do about that. We were late risers so it woke us up but we went back to sleep for another couple of hours so made it work. The loft bed is something to consider as it does get a bit hotter as heat rises. But the aircon kept us just cool enough for sleeping in the peak of summer.

Il Campanile had everything you could ask for. The location, amenities, breakfast were all perfect. Mr Stavros met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the apartment and gave us recommendations of what to do. The spa bath was a great addition which we used to relax in the evenings. The apartment was cleaned every morning between 11 and 2. There were also beach towels and a beach umbrella which were very useful (the beach was a 15 minute walk away). If you are staying in the old town for a few nights this is the perfect place to book.

Luxury at its finest, couldn’t fault this apartment, everything you could possibly need. The best pillows and bed of our 7 weeks away and great position in the old town , with many restaurants only minutes away. The spa bath added to the luxury great to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. Stavros was very helpful and welcoming including helping us with our bags arriving and departing and excellent free parking advice.

Well designed and fully equipped (there was even a hair straightener) apartment with perfect location. Very comfortable bed and cute balcony where to enjoy morning coffee. Super welcoming and friendly host! We really liked how the breakfast is organized and that it was available until 12.

Beautiful property with unique finishes, perfect location without being in the chaos of the old town.

Bathtub is difficult to get in and out of but is also your shower. Quite slipper surface. Walk in shower would be an improvement.

There is nothing to dislike.

This very comfortable apartment is in the heart of Chania, everything you could want is in easy walking distance, in fact there is a mini market next door. Stavros is the host extraudonair, warm, friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with a fruit bowl and a bottle of wine. There is a small balcony which is perfect for watching the world go by. The apartment is very well appointed. Could not have asked for more.

There are stairs leading to the bedroom on a mezanean level which may be an issue if someone had mobility issues.
