Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The resort is modern, clean and in a great location — close enough to the city, while also being conveniently located for visiting the main attractions in the area. The hotel provided a private driver who was always available when needed. He was very friendly, helpful and always arrived on time.
The breakfast was available every day and was rich, fresh and delicious. I also had dinner at the resort once, and it was excellent.
During my stay, I unfortunately got sick, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They provided me with medicine and continued to check on me over the following days to see if I was feeling better or needed anything else.
A special mention goes to Mia, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She helped me plan my itinerary for the following days and gave me great advice on the best order to visit the different attractions so I could make the most of my time.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The hotel is in a beautiful location with wonderful views. Our room was spacious and modern with comfortable beds, an excellent shower and great air conditioning. Most of all we enjoyed the massive hot tub on our terrace. It was lovely to relax there after a long day of hiking. The staff were very kind and helpful. One of the staff called Lucky spoke English very well and helped us to organise our trips. They picked us up from the airport and transported us to and from the Zhangjiajie scenic area at no extra charge. All in all we had a fantastic stay.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026La struttura è immersa tra le montagne, vicino a un piccolo villaggio di case di campagna con un bellissimo paesaggio coltivato con campi di riso e piccoli orti.
La nostra camera era molto bella e grande, dotata di tutti i confort. Unica pecca l’umidità, ma non dipende certo dall’hotel.
Colazione e cena buone.
L’accoglienza è il punto forte dell’hotel. Noi siamo stati aiutati da Rebecca e Lucky durante il nostro soggiorno e nella prenotazione dei ticket per il parco. Rebecca e Lucky sono due giovani ragazze che parlano un buon inglese (molto apprezzato e difficile da trovare!), con cui abbiamo scambiato chiacchiere molto piacevoli, che ci ricorderemo per sempre.
Se dovessimo tornare a Zhangjiajie, torneremo sicuramente qui!
La struttura è molto bella e qualche accortezza in più nella manutenzione la renderebbe ancora più perfetta.
La struttura è una palazzina in stile minimal moderno, con un bel giardino e un bel panorama. Il personale è molto gentile sopratutto le due ragazze che gestiscono la reception sono state molto attente ad ogni nostra richiesta. Abbiamo chiesto di poter fare un BBq e nonostante la pioggia hanno organizzato sotto gli ombrelloni un bellino BBq solo per noi con ottima carne e tante altre cose.
La stanza è bella (avevamo la suite con la jacuzzi sul terrazzo) ma pecca un po in alcuni dettagli e potrebbero fare un po meglio nella pulizia. Non è sporco, assolutamente, ma potrebbero migliorare alcuni dettagli in generale.
Nelle foto riportava anche una bella piscina grande, a sfioro sul panorama, ma poco prima del nostro arrivo ci è stato detto che era stata chiusa ed eliminata per problemi burocratici. Purtroppo abbiamo beccato 3 giorni di pioggia e non ci siamo goduti troppo il panorama.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026O hotel é lindíssimo rodeado pelas montanhas características da região, o que dá uma sensação de paz e tranquilidade. O quarto era enorme, com uma vista incrível e a cama super confortável, mesmo ideal para descansar depois das caminhas pelo parque de zhangjiajie. Os funcionários foram todos muito amáveis e prestáveis, sobretudo a Lucky e a Rebee, com as quais tivemos mais contacto uma vez que falam já um bom inglês. Ajudaram-nos ainda com a compra dos bilhetes e o itinerário para o parque de zhangjiajie e ofereceram-nos o transporte até alguns dos pontos. O pequeno almoço era bom e havia um restaurante (o que facilita muito pois não há muitas opções perto). Agradecemos ainda às funcionárias da cozinha, pois mesmo não falando inglês foram muito queridas. Havia lavandaria, ginásio e recantos de lazer disponíveis e tínhamos água todos os dias. E no final até tivemos direito a um presente! Recomendamos a 100%.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Vi havde et fantastisk ophold. Beliggenheden er helt perfekt med smukke omgivelser og en dejlig atmosfære. Personalet var meget nærværende, imødekommende og fik os til at føle os velkomne fra start til slut.
Aftensmaden var et af opholdets absolutte højdepunkter – virkelig velsmagende og tilberedt med stor omhu. Den kan varmt anbefales og bør helt klart opleves, hvis man bor her.

Nothing short of amazing. The views and tranquil location offer something your eyes will feast on.
Beds were comfortable. Showers had strong water pressure. Toilets are heated have a bidet and flush themselves.
Staff was friendly and helpful at all times.
This is only a minor inconvenience... The bathroom glass door. I don't understand why only the middle part has privacy cover. The top and bottom are just glass. Maybe if you're into that kind of thing... Cover the whole door please.
This appears to be only an issue in some rooms.

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Property is in the mountains and absolutely beautiful surrounded by beautiful sceneries. Our suite was very clean and spacious and have floor to ceiling windows where we can see the great view. We also had a great balcony with a hot tub and a patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at dinner provided for quite delicious.
The property advertised an infinity pool, which was not available for use when we arrived. In fact, it was filled up with dirt and grass put over it as the pool was not zoned appropriately as such the government did not permit the pool to be used. We were not made aware of this until we arrived. The hotel was very apologetic and offered free dinner as compensation which we accepted but we did not end up staying five nights as we originally planned and only stayed two nights due to the lack of pool and the relative remote location of the resort as it was higher up in the mountains and there were no other amenities at the resort. There were also no stores or restaurants outside of the resort’s immediate vicinity. The infinity pool was the main draw for us to this hotel and we planned to stay by the pool after sight seeing so without it was really nothing else to do at the resort. It was quite disappointing because if the pool was there, it would’ve been a fabulous view from what I can tell.

Limited choices of foods in breakfast buffet. And was unfortunate just to have bread and coffee for breakfast since there's an event that day. Moreover, i hope there is more privacy when using the toilet haha but aside from these two, I have no other complain.

Reviewed May 15, 2026My wife and I stayed at Xman Hotel in Zhangjiajie for 4 days, and we truly had a wonderful experience.
The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. The location was also perfect — close to the main attractions and activities in the village, which made everything very convenient.
The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The coffee was delicious, and the bed and bedding were extremely comfortable with a very luxurious feel.
I only wish the food had more variety and more international options, although the breakfast was still good overall.
I also wished there was a mirror inside the room.
Thank you to all the staff for the warm hospitality and excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay.

Очень большие вопросы к отелю, который себя позиционирует как 5-ти звездочный, тут максимум 3 звезды:
В номерах убирались, ставили воду, красивый вид, но:
1. Неправильно работал кондиционер, невозможно было выставить нормальную температуру, кондиционер постоянно жужжал;
2. Сломанный душ, также нужно было ждать около 5 минут, пока нагреется вода; в ванной комнате было всегда очень холодно; не работала лампочка в душевой;
3. Нет холодильника;
4. Пятна на стенах и шторах;
5. В комнате также перегорела лампа, попросили персонал поменять, просьбу проигнорировали;
6. Неудобное расположение: поблизости нет ни магазинов, ни ресторанов.

The hotel really is a hidden gem and perfectly located to explore the national park. Getting a Didi to drive around was no problem, easy to get around this way. Would love to stay again!

Même avec 30 minutes de retard pour le petit déjeuner, ils nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et tout préparé avec le sourire. Ils nous ont également très bien conseillé sur les activités à faire aux alentours, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre voyage.
La vue au lever du soleil depuis l’hôtel est tout simplement exceptionnelle — l’un des grands moments de notre séjour.

La grande gentillesse du personnel qui tous s’employaient à rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible malgré une météo pluvieuse ( service de thé et dégustation de patates douces au coin de la cheminée, et plateau de fruits et vin de riz pour notre anniversaire de mariage) Les lits incroyablement confortables

The restaurant food was good too - the local dishes were to our taste (the hotel was able to customise them to our preferences, i.e. less spice). We had a great experience staying here.

Very good location (close to Avatar mountains, around 40 minutes by taxi to Tianman mountain. 30 minutes from the airport and the city center)
The room is big and quite, has a good view, but designed a bit strange and irrationally (especially the bathroom).
A recommendation to the travelers: reserve at least 5 days if you wish to see the place as you will have to catch the weather and the walking distances are long.

Hôtel complètement défraichit, loin du standing d'un 5 étoiles. Les photos nous ont paru mensongères... Parquet gondolé, peu de décoration, un hôtel qui semble un peu abandonné quant à l'entretien.
Petit déjeuner bon mais très spartiate, pas de choix.
La présence d'un peu de vent faisait claquer les portes.
Belle piscine, mais non chauffé, impossible de s'y baigner.

Especially Hilary, who assisted us with everything from getting a new room sorted when the original one smelled a little mouldy to what we could see in the park. Special thanks to her for arranging that the staff prepare a less oily and vegetarian/vegan meal for us! The rest of the staff is also lovely, the ladies that work the kitchen and maintain the hotel are very warm and always greeted with a smile!
The location is also good-ish, as it’s close to the middle gate, which turns out to be the best one to quickly get onto the best treks through the park and avoid major crowds. No restaurants around though, which is ok if you’re looking to be secluded.
The room we initially had was mouldy and wasn’t very clean. However, we were promptly given a much nicer room that was very cosy for the rest of our stay.
The breakfast is rather limited (although they have some white bread and jam, plus a very nice soy milk) but they’ll serve you a noodle soup if you ask (unfortunately not vegetarian).

Le lever de soleil depuis la chambre est un spectacle d’une pureté absolue. On apprécie particulièrement les petits détails : le service de navette attentionné, la terrasse face aux montagnes, idéale pour un digestif en soirée. Un mélange parfait de confort moderne et d’authenticité. Un vrai coup de cœur.

The views are really rather spectacular, and the infinity pool is quite something. The staff were uniformly helpful and polite without being intrusive. A particular highlight was the breakfast – excellent quality. We had a most relaxing time and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The team couldn't have been more helpful – from arranging transport to recommending walks. Our room was extremely comfortable with a view we never tired of. It’s the kind of place you recommend to friends, but rather hope doesn’t get too popular. A truly splendid retreat.

Das Hotel überzeugt durch eine hervorragende Infrastruktur: der Infinity-Pool mit Blick auf die Berge ist ein Highlight, die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der äußerst hilfsbereite Service an der Rezeption. Das Frühstück hätte eine etwas größere Auswahl bieten können, war aber qualitativ sehr gut. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, gerne wieder.

Der Shuttleservice zum Nationalpark funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Personal ist unauffällig, aber stets zuvorkommend. Besonders die heimische Küche im Restaurant ist empfehlenswert. Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, das keine Wünsche offenlässt.

Besonders praktisch: Das Hotel liegt nur 6 Autominuten vom Eingang des Nationalwaldparks entfernt.
Wir haben den Park besucht, doch die eigene Anlage des Hotels war schon so reizvoll, dass wir stundenlang hätten einfach nur dort bleiben können.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Vom Zimmer aus genossen wir herrliche Bergblicke, und es gibt auf dem Gelände noch einen besonderen Aussichtspunkt.
Das Personal kümmerte sich außergewöhnlich, das chinesische Essen war köstlich, und das Zimmer überaus komfortabel.
Die Umgebung ist wunderbar ruhig – ideal, um nach Wanderungen in den umliegenden Bergen entspannt abzuschalten.
Der Service hat jedes Detail beachtet, sodass es uns fast schwerfiel, wieder abzureisen.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Obwohl wir nur einen Tag blieben, wollten wir eigentlich gar nicht mehr gehen – und am nächsten Morgen wurden wir mit einem einzigartigen Sonnenaufgang über dem Pool belohnt.
Das westliche Frühstück war zwar nicht sehr umfangreich, aber ausgesucht fein und köstlich, mehr als genug, um uns zu stärken.
Falls möglich, werden wir beim nächsten Besuch vielleicht ganz auf Ausflüge verzichten und einfach nur in der Stille der wunderschönen Berglandschaft verweilen.

Auch wenn nur wenige Mitarbeiter Englisch sprachen, war der Service durchweg herzlich und freundlich. Wir haben uns hier sofort verliebt.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025Sofort nach unserer Ankunft hat uns der Blick verzaubert – wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, um die Aussicht in vollen Zügen aufzunehmen.
Der kostenlose Abholdienst vom Flughafen sowie der Shuttle vom Waldpark zum Hotel waren äußerst praktisch. Noch dazu haben sie uns bei der Planung aller Ausflüge unterstützt, was uns viel Zeit und Geld sparte.
Bei meiner nächsten Reise nach China komme ich definitiv mit Freunden zurück, um ihnen dieses besondere Juwel zu zeigen.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025Lo staff parla bene in inglese ed è disponibile. La stanza carina ed abbastanza grande. Il servizio di pick-up ottimo data la posizione. Si trova molto vicino al parco per cui vista favolosa, ma appunto per questo priva di servizi, se non il ristorante dell'albergo.
L'albergo non è un resort. Essendo vicino al parco e con pochi servizi nelle vicinanze, è necessario taxi per fare tutto. La struttura è carina, immersa nella natura ed ottima vista, ma un pò fatiscente. Avevamo degli orari abbastanza impegnativi ma comunque per colazione take away ci è stato dato pane e latte.
La camera è pulita ma il resto della struttura no.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025Wunderschöne Aussicht auch bei schlechterem Wetter (wir hatten viel Regen). Super leckeres Essen und vor allem sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben Hilfe bekommen unseren Trip im Nationalpark zu planen und auch bei allen anderen Fragen wurde uns geholfen!

Questa struttura è davvero immersa nella natura, bellissima la vista dalle montagne, soprattutto all’alba si può vedere il sole che sorge dai monti che è davvero incantevole.
La stanza è ben fornita, il letto grande e comodo, buona la pulizia, e ho apprezzato il fatto che ci fosse lo stendi panni, molto utile per asciugare al sole i vestiti.Lo staff è molto gentile, anche se solo una ragazza parlava inglese sono stati tutti disponibili. Per quanto riguarda la posizione non è molto centrale, ma sicuramente comodo il servizio di navetta gratuita che forniscono per entrare al parco dall’ingresso Sud.
Sono rimasta molto delusa dalla piscina, per quanto molto bella a vedersi, non invogliava affatto al bagno, l’acqua era molto torbida e non sembrava molto pulita, non c’era una doccia lì vicino che consentiva da lavarsi prima di entrare, così dava un senso generale di sporco.
La colazione è un po’ da rivedere, pochissima scelta di dolce e in generale non sufficientemente fornita per essere un albergo 5 stelle e per il prezzo pagato che per essere in Cina non è affatto basso ( ho trovato il pane toast solo un giorno).
Infine, bisogna fare attenzione all’indirizzo che c’è su Booking che da una posizione sbagliata. Purtroppo la prima sera siamo arrivati in un posto per un altro e non riuscivamo tramite Google a trovare l’indirizzo corretto. Tuttavia sono stati molto gentili quando li ho contattati nel mandarmi la posizione esatta.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025El personal es muy servicial y amable. Harán lo posible para que tu estancia sea cómoda. Nuestra habitacion tenía unas vistas inmejorables. Recomiendo este hotel encarecidamente, así como su restaurante. Además, siempre hay servicio de Didi cercano para llevarte donde quieras.
Solo una chica del personal habla inglés.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2025The staff is very helpful and kind. They helped us plan our itenary and book tickets on our behalf. The hotel also offers a free airport pickup by car and shuttle to Zhangjiajie National Park Middle gate. The swimming pool is well maintained and great pleasure to swin after a long day of hiking. From the pool you have direct mountain view, and by taxi it is only 14 minutes to the national park and about 30 minutes to Wulingyuan village.
In case you need to wash and dry clothes, it takes two days at least to dry due to very humid environment (september). Keep in mind when travelling!

Hice una reserva para 3 noches. Estuve hablando con ellos por wechat a menudo el mes antes de llegar. Nos recogieron el el aeropuerto y una vez llegamos, nos dicen que sólo podemos quedarnos dos noches, que tienen las habitaciones reservadas para el último día para otros huéspedes. Supuestamente, se habían dado cuenta el mismo día. Sinceramente, no me lo creo. Imagino que lo que no querrían es que nosotros cancelarsemos la reserva y así tenernos pillados al menos dos noches y sin mucho margen de maniobra. No nos dieron ningún tipo de explicación por más que les insistimos. Aparte comentaron que nos diarios los transportes gratis por el error y no fue así. Nos tocó pagar el didi el último día para cambiarnos a un nuevo hotel debido a su error, de nuevo sin previo aviso.
Por otra parte, en nuestra habitación, la 301, nos encontramos pequeñas cucarachas 2 días seguidos.
Además, habíamos acordado que nos recogiera su conductor para ir a uno de los parques. Cuando llegó el momento, allí nadie sabía nada.
Por otra parte, pedimos si durante el último día nos podían tender la ropa para que se secase y recogerla al volver al hotel (ya no teníamos la habitación). Obviamente no lo hicieron, la ropa seguía mojadisima
En conclusión, me sentí engañada y estafada.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025Lo staff è stato davvero carino e disponibile, ci ha aiutato sia prima del nostro arrivo con la prenotazione delle attrazioni, sia durante tutta la nostra permanenza, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. L’hotel è molto bello, le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli, e la vista dalla piscina è semplicemente impagabile. Consigliatissimo!

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025The hotel has an amazing location, in the middle of the mountains, located closely to the Middle Gate of the national park. Rooms are wonderful and so is the pool, which gives you the ultimate holiday vibes. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcome you like a friend. I’d definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning to go to Zhangjiajie!

Reviewed Jul 25, 2025De kamer was echt top. Heerlijk luxe en fijne faciliteiten. De kinderen hebben ook echt genoten van het prachtige zwembad met een geweldig uitzicht.
Een klein punt van aandacht: we hadden echt een prachtige kamer met een mooi uitzicht. Alleen werd het mooie uitzicht verstoord omdat het hotel de ruimte naast onze kamer had gebruikt voor de opslag van rommel. Als zulke details aangepakt worden, is het helemaal top!

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025My family and I had such an amazing experience at Xman. The location is incredible, right next to the National Forest Park, and the facilities were advanced and very comfortable. Best of all, the staff was so friendly and nice, especially Sophia and Lily, they made our stay very relaxing and fun. They helped us with our itinerary and whatever we needed extremely quickly. Right from airport pickup to accommodating food requests, they helped with all our needs and wants. We came from Dubai and found Xman amazing, I highly recommend it.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2025Staff was kind and helpful. Then helped us arrange transfer to the middle gate and to the airport. They also gave info regarding the park. Breakfast simple, but nice traditional one.
We booked the room with the jacuzzi in it on the balcony. Since the weather was rainy the jacuzzi could not been used as it is filled with spring water which was considered dirty during the rainy days. Huge disappointment. Would have booked a lot cheaper room if I knew it in advance. It should have been communicated so we can make an informed decision.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2025The view is gorgeous. We got a suite with Mountain view. The Mountain View’s at the common areas and at the road outside the hotel are also fabulous. Breakfast are simple local food but the kitchen also has a menu for lunch and dinner. We ordered simple dishes with rice for dinner and the food was deliciously and skillfully stir-fried.
The hotel staff said they could plan itinerary and help purchase tickets but they could not execute properly as they are not familiar with circumstances at the tourist areas. We suffered very long delays as a result, which defeated the purpose of staying near the National Forest. Housekeeping also needs improvement. Every night we found the room short of something (water, towels, floor mat). However, the staff are very helpful to bring the necessary to our room immediately. Another thing that made us uncomfortable was that a rubbish bin would constantly be placed below dining tables in the restaurant for throwing food and other rubbish. Not sure if it’s the norm there but it is unsightly to have an open rubbish bin constantly under the dining table.

Nothing to complain.
The staff was helpful with everything. The cook made delicious food! Perfect view over the mountains. The room was very warm and shower had warm water. Even the toilet had a heater!
Due to low season it felt a little dead, we were the only guests. And it was hard for the taxi drivers to find the hotel.

The room is big and very comfortable!
The surrounding scenery is beautiful! We can walk around the area, 5-10mins walk till the end there is a spot to take nice photos! Along the way will see chics and so on, a feel of village stay!
The toilet bowl 😂… my hubby love it… it help on morning business 😂
The light in the toilet is too dark. Ladies may have difficulties when makeup.
Along the walk got some buildings constructed halfway, it spoilt the village outlooks!

- great location, just 10min by car (didi works well) from the national park entrance
- not that many options for breakfast, you proactively have to ask the staff in order to get a coffee or a noodle soup. We just realized that serve noodle soup after some Chinese guests got it.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2024This hotel is located fairly close to the Zhanjiajie forest park, which is convenient if you want to go to the park early. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they kindly picked us up from the airport and then the next day drove us to the park. They also helped to buy the tickets and arranged transportation. The rooms are comfortable with full height glass windows so you can enjoy the views. The pool, in particular, has great views and is a good size.
The breakfast was somewhat limited

Reviewed Jun 16, 2024The hotel has a perfect location nestled in the National Forest Park. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - especially Xiaoxiao and her little brother - they helped us navigate common tourist attractions, arranged tickets and provided transport. The pool and scenery is definitely a highlight of this hotel as are the comfortable rooms! Very clean. Would highly recommend!
