The location is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature perfect for anyone looking to relax and escape from the busy city life. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. The natural surroundings and peaceful environment made our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable stay

Het vriendelijke personeel hielp ons met letterlijk alles tijdens ons verblijf. Ze regelden o.a. een taxi met gids en hielpen met het starten van onze tuktuk. Door de kleinschaligheid hebben ze volle aandacht voor je.

La chambre etait très grande avec deux lits de 1,60mt.. le petit dejeuner etait tipyque. Les propietaires etaient adorables et la salle de bain espacieuse aussi. C’est une maison toute nouvelle. Très beau endroit

The place was calm and quiet, which made the stay very relaxing. The room had good space with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. There was also safe and convenient parking available.

The floor was not fully cleaned. The last part of the road leading to the property is in poor condition. The TV was not working properly. It would be better if bottled water and basic facilities to prepare tea or coffee were provided.

Exceptional stay - highly recommended! I recently stayed at Malwathuoya Forget Garden and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Special mention must be made of the cleanliness of the entire place; everything was clean and hygienic, which made the stay very relaxing. The food was delicious and had excellent taste and the service provided by the staff was top notch - they were attentive, friendly and always ready to help. The place is exceptional, and so is the service! We slept incredibly well, and they prepared a delicious breakfast for us! The lady at reception got us a tuk-tuk so we could take a tour for a great price! We definitely enjoyed ourselves, and if any of our friends are traveling to Sri Lanka, we highly recommend this place!

The room was spacious and very clean, with a separate shower area. All the facilities were well arranged, and the meals were delicious. The staff were very helpful. The location was extremely lovely — calm and beautifully serene. We will definitely go back there.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel se trouve, en voiture, à proximité des lieux d'intérêt de Anuradhapura. Il y a une douche et toilettes individuelles comprises dans la chambre. Le lieu est calme, et nous pouvons entendre le chant des animaux de la forêt au petit matin. Il y a possibilité de demander une chambre avec air conditionné moyennant un ajout sur le tarif final de la chambre.

La route d'accès, si vous voyagez en voiture, est étroite et en assez mauvaise état

Un poco apartado de todo, quizá demasiado, aunque con tuktuk que nos consiguieron desde el alojamiento, no tuvimos ningún problema.

Great staff and a wonderful place overall! This has already become my go-to hotel whenever I’m traveling to Anuradhapura. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and I really appreciate the thoughtful design of the front dining area — such a smart idea to encourage guests to enjoy their meals outside the rooms and help keep the rooms spotless.

It would have been perfect if card payment was an option. While online transfers were available, we hadn’t set that up in advance for this trip. As a result, we had to rely on cash, which meant finding an ATM in Anuradhapura. This turned out to be quite challenging and unfortunately delayed our journey to the next destination.

Very convenient location in a beautiful, serene setting. We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were very hospitable and always ready to help. We had a nice breakfast, and the owner organized a Wilpattu tour for us. The room was spacious and clean. The location is excellent.

Such an amazing stay! We really loved to stay in this place. The room was perfect and the hosts really nice, we had a very nice conversations. They also have a menu with lots of different dishes.

The people were lovely and I really want the place to succeed. The rooms are large and otherwise quite comfortable but it must be mentioned that one of the rooms was absolutely covered in mold and smelled like mold quite extremely. For my asthmatic partner this was extra problematic.

The hosts were very kind, helpfull. The room was very spacious and clean ! We appreciated to have some hot water. The house is located in the nature and the view from the room was nice

Away from the hustle and hustle of the city, scenic and close to nature. Quite peaceful. Jungle fowls and birds roam the area. The host was very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. The outdoor dining area was quite a nice setting.

Everything was good. But since they are expanding for the next season, repairs were going on. We didn't mind at all.

The property is owned by a young couple, they were very helpful during our stay. It is situated in a calming location. The room is larger than the average. Beds are super comfy. You can order meals from the menu and it is really tasty. We enjoyed our stay at the property. Thank you for your kind service.

We stayed here on our first night in Sri Lanka and enjoyed the confortable beds to recover from the trip. The place is really nice, a wonderful garden, rooms are spacious and clean, the family is very nice and the food was delicious! It's not in the center of Anuradhapura, but you can easily walk to the new town, 10 -15 min.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it! The room was spacious, with large comfortable beds, and air conditioning and a fan. The bathroom was nice, with separate rooms for the toilet and shower. We also enjoyed the meal we had at the hotel. The couple who own the property were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful, assisting us with organising tours of the ancient city, and a day trip to Wilpattu National Park. They also gave us helpful advice about buses, and helped us get to an ATM when we were short on cash. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The room key was a bit awkward to use, as the room only locked from the inside using the key, but also was needed to activate the electricity, meaning we had to lock/unlock the door in the dark, and it was hard for one person to leave without the other. A small bar fridge might also have been useful as an addition in the room.

owners were very friendly and they made sure we had everything we needed. their service even before we arrived was great as they contacted us a couple of times helping us with info. we were late to arrive than we planned but they were there to welcome us. they gave us some plates and cutlery to have food too. rooms were spacious and comfy as well as beds. aircon worked magic as we needed it that day.

nothing much to add here. i'd say a small bar fridge would be very handy as it's very hot area to keep your drinks cold and if you have any food leftover. perhaps a small table and a couple of chairs would be handy too.

That place is situated with a very calm and quiet surrounding and easy access to the Anuradhapura pooja nagaraya. They have a nice dine in area where you can have your meals enjoying the environment. So close to Malwathu oya and you can have a bath as well🤗 Food was delicious and the owners are very friendly and fexible with our requirements. Highly recommend this place.❤️

The breakfast at Malwathuoya Forest Garden was delightful, featuring Milk Rice, String Hoppers with White gravy, and coconut Sambol that were incredible tasty. The location is extra special, being very calm and quiet next to a lush green forest reserve. Watching friendly monkeys and enjoying the nearby natural water stream added a unique charm to our stay.

I didn't find anything not to like. Nothing could have been better than these isolated hidden premises giving you full freedom of life amidst the greenery within the modernized city limits. Plus, you can easily reach any location within ancient Anuradhapura in a very short time.

Facilities are exellent, And the dinner was absolutely good.
