Locatie was top. Hele lieve mensen die het hotel runnen. Erg goedkoop.

De wc spoelde niet door. Dit hebben we gemeld maar kregen ze niet gefixt. Ook lekte de wc vies toiletwater op de badkamervloer na het doortrekken. Er Airco had maar 3 standen waardoor je eigenlijk geen aangename temperatuur kon bereiken. Hoofdkussens oogde beschimmeld (zat wel een hoes omheen).

Confortevole bungalow, arredamento spartano, ma dotata di tutto il necessario, incluso il climatizzatore indispensabile per il caldo della zona ad agosto. Posizione fuori dal caos, un idiliio di cinguetii che ci svegliavano al mattino, e ampio patio/giardino dove rilassarsi. Comodo per raggiungere la spiaggia e i ristoranti! Consigliato

Gute Lage, gut funktionierendes WiFi, Hütte war sauber, ebenso das Bad (ist zwar eine Nasszelle, aber trocknet extrem schnell, war also nie ein Problem).

Mist wurde tagelang nicht ausgeleert, was nach 4 Tagen nötig gewesen wäre. Leider gab es keinen Kühlschrank oder sonstige Anlagemöglichkeiten für Dinge im Allgemeinen.

Ubicación excelente y un muy buen sitio para relajarte al lado de la playa. Todo muy limpio y personal muy agradable.

Habían muchas hormigas y insectos dentro... El wifi también iba regular depende del momento.

We had a very good stay at Cool Banyan Cabanas! The owner is a very nice lady, so extremely kind! Everything can be arranged, no problem. The cabana was very cute, and beautiful inside. The shower was nice and hot. There are musquitos in Trincomalee, but there was a musquito net around the bed which was really nice. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and Fernando's beach Market. There are several other restaurants even closer.

Tolle Unterkunft mit schönen Bungalows. Nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Sehr nette Gastgeber mit tollen lokalen Tipps. Sie haben uns auch eine Schnorchel Tour organisiert. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Les cabanes mériteraient d'être un peu mieux isolées pour éviter la déperdition d'énergies.

Great place to stay and very close to Uppuveli beach. Also, staff was lovely and very accomodating.

Super Lage, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Häuschen hat alles was nötig ist, ist aber eher rudimentär gehalten. Dafür ist es sehr gemütlich. Super bequemes Bett!

Viele Insekten im Zimmer, zum Glück gibt es ein Mückennetz über dem Bett. Die Türen nach aussen sind abschliessbar, das Schloss aber sehr dürftig. Kein Safe im Häuschen. In der Nacht hört man jedes Tier auf dem Dach, das kann sehr laut werden.

Super freundliches Personal, wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Besonders hat uns gefallen, dass wir so einfach und günstig einen Scooter mieten konnten.

Very close to the beach, just a 5-7 minute walk. Cute little Cabana, which was spacious inside with room for bags, hanging space and a decent sized bathroom. Kettle and tea/coffee provided. Nice sitting area outside with washing line for clothes. Close to shops and restaurants too which was great.

Aircon didnt work properly, so we just used the fan. However I found it too hot. I chose this place because it had aircon but it was ineffective. Other than that it was a nice stay.

La posizione è comodissima per raggiungere la spiaggia e tutti i ristoranti e il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile ad aiutarci a noleggiare il motorino, prenotare taxi ect ect

The room is not isolated from the outside, therefore in the evening it gets full of insects and mosquitoes

Diese gemütlichen Häuschen liegen in einer ruhigen Gegend in Uppuveli, nahe am Strand und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu sehr guten Restaurants. Die Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheit und die Sitzschale am Banyon-Baum haben wir sehr genossen. Es ist sogar ein Trampolin für Kinder vorhanden. Die Gastgeber-Familie ist ausgesprochen nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir haben aufgrund unseres längeren Aufenthalts (5 Nächte) einmal gratis wundervolles Sri Lanka Frühstück genießen dürfen! Die Holzbauweise der Häuschen ist zwar hellhörig, tatsächlich verwende ich im Urlaub zum Schlafen meistens Ohrstöpsel und deshalb hat mich das nicht gestört.

The highlight was definitely the people. The owner is genuinely one of the kindest hosts we’ve met—he went out of his way to help us arrange moped rentals and laundry, which made our stay much easier. We also felt very safe and well looked after throughout. The location couldn’t be better: just a quick 3–4 minute walk to Fernando’s and the main beach hangout, so everything is within easy reach.

The cabanas are made from fairly simple materials, so the overall feel is very basic rather than anything close to luxury. Our main challenge was the number of mosquitoes inside the hut, and the net provided didn’t offer as much protection as we expected. The bathrooms were rustic and open to the outside, which some may find atmospheric, but in practice made them a bit inconvenient to use. Overall, this is closer to a very simple, back-to-basics type of accommodation. If you’re looking for comfort or ease, you may find it limiting.

Całkiem w porządku łazienka, ganek do siedzenia, miejsce do suszenia mokrych rzeczy. Usługa prania i prasowania była w porządku.

Brudna podłoga, średnia łazienka. Naszym tempem 10 minut do plaży - myślałam, że będzie bliżej.

Great location close to the beach but far enough away from the main roads. Unlimited water was a first for us in Sri Lanka and was such a bonus.

Heerlijk huisje, het heeft vier cabins en ieder huisje heeft een airco. Het is schoon. Je kunt lekker buiten zitten op relax stoelen. Dichtbij het strand en alle leuke eettentjes. Je kon continue gratis water pakken. Eigenaar hielp ons met snorkelen en taxi regelen. Heerlijk vertoeven.

Geweldige locatie dichtbij het strand en restaurantjes, super behulpzame host en goede airco!

Soms erg gehorig door langskomende tuktuks en mensen, dus earplugs is een aanrader.

Der Besitzer ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbreit. Die Hütten sind einfach aber gemütlich und haben alles was man braucht. Besonder nett fanden wir die kleinen Shampoos die man bekommen hat.

Das Zimmer ist SEHR hellhörig und zudem war das Bad sowie auch der Rest nicht sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und hatte wenig bis gar keine Ablagefläche.

El alojamiento está en una ubicación perfecta para disfrutar de la playa Nilaveli, a unos 3 minutos caminando. La cabaña estaba bien equipada, la cama era cómoda y tenía mosquitera, algo muy importante ya que no están muy bien aisladas del exterior y los mosquitos entran. Ese poco aislamiento, también hace que se escuche todo lo que pasa alrededor, desde las aves mañaneras hasta lo que se habla en la cabaña contigua. Es cierto que no hay instalaciones ruidosas alrededor (bares, restaurantes…) y la carretera principal queda alejada. El baño es bastante básico y podría estar mejor construido, mejor aislado hacia el exterior, ya que puede resultar poco “íntimo”. Salvo por el inconveniente del sonido es un alojamiento perfecto para unos días de relax en la playa sin grandes lujos. Los empleados son muy atentos, nada más llegar con consiguieron una scooter para recorrer la zona y el día que nos fuimos nos dejaron ducharnos para quitarnos la arena de la playa a pesar de haber hecho el check-in horas antes.

Podrían estar mejor aislados para evitar que los sonidos exteriores molesten y los baños podrían estar mejor construidos y a su vez mejor conservados y limpios.

La disponibilità delle persone che lavorano qui è incredibile. Il posto è magnifico, l’albero di Banyan fa una grande ombra e si sta benissimo. La cabana è semplice, ma ha tutto quello che serve, che nello specifico sono aria condizionata e un ventilatore. La posizione è perfetta per arrivare in spiaggia e nel centro di Allesgarden.

Sfeervolle huisjes, met leuke tuin. Hele vriendelijke mensen. Rustig gelegen maar wel overal dichtbij. Fijne douche en heerlijke dikke handdoeken!!

Je keek her en der zo naar buiten via de kieren in het hout en de deuren/het slot voelden niet heel stevig. Met de airco bleef het wel lekker koel en er hangt een klamboe tegen evt beestjes die binnen komen. Voor ons was het een prima locatie, maar vond de prijs (duurste verblijf van ons in 3 weken Sri lanka) niet helemaal in verhouding met andere plekken waar we zijn geweest. Aan de andere kant, alles in Trincomalee was duurder dan elders. Dus ligt vast ook aan de locatie.

Het hutje was prima. Het was schoon, maar niet netjes. Er zaten gaten in de daken van de wc, en na het douchen was heel de badkamer nat. Het bed was prima en de locatie was heel fijn! Zou het wel aanraden, maar is niet zo beschreven als op booking staat qua hygiëne etc.

De kamer is in de vier nachten dat we zijn verbleven niet 1x schoongemaakt of nieuwe handdoeken gebracht.

Fantastic location and everything we needed with welcoming hosts. It was exactly as described on booking.com. We nearly cancelled our stay as we thought it would be too hot but we are very glad we came to trincomalee

It was loud in the night with the sounds of animals (the squirrels were loud one night but we didn’t hear them the second night)

El colchón y almohadas han sido los más cómodos del viaje y con el A/C dormimos genial. Está a un minuto a pie de la playa y hay muchas opciones de restaurantes. El propietario es muy amable.

Es verdad que se escucha un poco si el vecino hace ruido, o cuando pasa algún tuktuk o moto.

We initially booked this place for 3 nights, but ended up staying 6 — and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision! The accommodation was absolutely perfect: very clean, the beds are super comfortable, and located in a peaceful setting and a 5min walk to the beach. A special thank you to Priyantha, our host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! He was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. His warm hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a place that’s clean, relaxing, and hosted by someone who genuinely cares about your stay, this is it. We would gladly come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Very kind and warm people. The accommodation was as shown in the images and is really close to the beach and to the restaurants. Definitely recommended for short but also longer stays!

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms at a very affordable price. Excellent location too, right by a mini-market, the beach and eateries . The host was very accommodating and allowed me an early check-in. I would recommend this place to both solo travellers and couples.

Отличная территория, приветливая хозяйка, можно взять в аренду велики

В домике шумно (прилегает блок кондиционера соседнего домика), старое постельное белье в катышках, нет одеяла. Домик староват, но было бы круто если бы убрали перечисленные недочёты . Шум от блока кондиционера соседнего домика очень мешал спать (не увидела изначально на фото). Визуально рядом много более новых вилл, домиков. По соотношению цена-качество достаточно хорошо.

Great Location, Close to restaurants and beach. Cabanas are well equipped, bit small but you can sit on the terrace. Kettle, cups, coffee, tea in your room. Everything very clean. Friendly staff. We could check in and check out slightly earlier/later. Big bonus: free drinking water refill, so a lot less plastic bottles! Also, they rent bicycles in good condition and it's fun to explore Trinco city with them.

Can be noisy as it's a wooden cabana, so you may need earplugs. Quite some mosquitos like everywhere but you do have a mosquito net, so the bed will be your safe place:)

Nous avons été hyper bien accueillis. La famille très discrète même avec des enfants petits et trop mignons. La situation est nickel. A 200m de la plage. Proche de plein de resto pour manger et petit dej. Très propre. Moustiquaire dans la chambre. Clim et ventilateur. Calme la nuit. Nous avons même pu faire laver le linge. Parking pour le tuk tuk que nous avions loué. Le personnel était à nos petits soins. C’était extra.

We didn't have breakfast, but there was a real nice place just around the corner. There was a watercooker and fresh water and coffee and tea in the room. There is a super cool tree in the garden so in the morning you wake up and can great the monkeys and squirels and birds playing around in it.

Just in the second row behind the beach front, we had calm and restful nights in our lovely hut just 5 minutes from the vibrant beach. We can definitely recommend these Cabanas!

Súper bien localizado, al lado de restaurantes y la playa a pocos minutos. La familia es súper atenta y amable y la cabaña muy acogedora, la cama gigante y muy grande.

Very lovely stay, the host were so kind and helpful with everything, provided me with mosquitoe spray and you have unlimited drinking water. It’s a short walk from the beach and local restaurants The cabana is very simple but has everything you need, the bed is very comfy and has a mosquitoe net which comes very handy. Worth noting it’s a cold shower but I knew this before booking so that wasn’t a problem for me

The lighting could be improved but that wasn’t really an issue for me

it‘s a cabana so that means it’s a bit more open and not super sound proof, but that’s really nothing compared to all the virtues of the accomodation

Cute cabana, comfortable bed, good parking and not far from restaurants/beach. Very helpful owner, even came running out with an umbrella when we pulled up in the rain. As with anywhere on the coast you must be prepared for mosquitoes.

Lovely cabana, close to the beach.

We had a fab time here, loved staying in a cute cabana which had all of the facilities - en suite and air con!! The location is fab, 4 mins walk to the nicest beach in Trinco, right round the corner to some lovely restaurants and a couple of grocery stores a min walk away! The owner was very helpful and organised a tuk tuk to the bus stop for us at a low price. Couldn’t fault this place at all!!

There is no hot water for the shower but that didn’t bother us, the water isn’t really cold just a bit fresh

Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Cabana ist sogar mit AC ausgestattet. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl dort und fand es gemütlich. In der Ungebung sind verschiedene Restaurants, welche leider bei meinem Besuch in der Zwischensaison (Ende Nov) überwiegend geschlossen hatten. In ca. 7 Min ierreicht man den Strand zu Fuss.

Leider haben sich entweder Eichhörnchen oder Mäuse in der Nacht Zugang in meine Cabana verschaffen und haben meine Snacks angeknabbert.
