ibis Styles Mysuru

Excellent property, pool and spa were the highlight, simply awesome. I was glad to get an upgrade to superior suite room which was spacious but the only catch was it felt very claustrophobic as there were no operational windows, so there was no feeling of fresh air at any time, this was a challenge especially during the peak night time. Staff was excellent, we also had dinner at the rooftop bar, it was very good but needs some more staff as only 1 girl was doing everything there, she was very good! Overall it was value for money, hopefully the staff is able to maintain the hygiene, our room 301 also had bad stench in the washroom area which needs to be checked.

The main area for improvement was the housekeeping service. I had to follow up several times—almost five calls—to receive basic bathroom accessories such as towels. This caused some inconvenience and could be improved with more proactive room service and quicker response times.

Room was quite nice. Staff especially the mixologist on the rooftop bar needs a special mention

Verandah is meh at best. Breakfast buffet is also so so. I expected a bit more on the amenities considering it’s a four star

Hotel is a bit further out of town than we had predicted but not a problem as it's a very cheap and quick tuk tuk or Uber ride into the centre of town. The only thing I could find to criticise in this otherwise perfect hotel is the music in the restaurant during breakfast is both unnecessary and much too loud, which I found very irritating.

It's slightly away from the centre of town, around 5kms, however it's not too big an inconvenience as it's only 10 mins away by tuk-tuk or taxi.

The staff is cooperative and the hotel has a nice ambience. good food.

The room was modern and the manager arranged for us to have interconnecting rooms which as a family of four was really helpful.

There was no international options on the menu and all options were very spicy, which was a shame but the restaurant did try to accommodate something for me but not kids options.

Zeer schone kamers, super vriendelijk personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en fijne gym/zwembad.

Het viel niet tegen zozeer, maar het ligt best ver (met file) van het stadscentrum. Verder niets op te merken.

Rooms are very noisy. You can hear what's happening in the next room.

Good breakfast spread at Verandah restaurant. Our Queen suite room was excellent. The KA16 rooftop restaurant was also good. The hotel is well located for touristic spots of ranganathittu bird sanctuary, brindavan garden, KRS Dam and Srirangpatna.

(1) Staff in general were stiff (not warm, not friendly) and efficient. I would have preferred more friendly staff who were well trained to be efficient AS WELL AS friendly & warm. (2) Room service ordering was a little below par because they sometimes sent orders without adequate cutlery. The room service experience needs to be improved significantly (3) The travel desk needs to arm themselves with a few "value for money" options for sightseeing and drop offs to local tourist spots. I found some of their suggestions overpriced.

Stayed at the Junior suite at Ibis Styles Mysuru. Very clean and spacious room with comfortable furniture. The breakfast spread was good. Property has a rooftop swimming pool. Location is convenient to access major sightseeing attractions in the city.

The restaurant on ground floor was bit small to accommodate all the guests during the peak hours of breakfast. The swimming pool timings are 7AM to 7PM which was but inconvenient.

The hotel was not clean. When we arrived and checked the room, we found that the pillowcases were dirty, the pillow had an unpleasant smell, and the bath towels were very old and in poor condition.

All the appointments in the room - slippers. Toiletry. Milk powder, shower caps, Towels were not in the room when we checked in. Had to call up for each stuff. Breakfast buffet restaurant was poorly managed - tables were not clean. Not cutlery available. Also the toilet closet had a stain.
