Spacious Infrastructure but it needs to to revamped

I was stayed with my family in Mysore County hotel.The front desk team welcomed us warmly. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered quiet. I will highly recommend staying hare.

I recently visited Mysore county retreat hotel. Room was neet and clean and specious, The hotel is located near infosys.they have baby food as complimenty which helped me alot and whole trip amezing.

Overall, the hotel compares poorly to others I have stayed in. Air conditioning was poor in the daytime and my complaints elicited no response. I tried to contact the manager, Manjunath, but his secretary would not put me through. On my third attempt, she said Manjunath will come to my room. He never did. The food was generally bad and local specialities were conspicuously missing. Room service was generally timely, but some of the items I asked for( like chicken cutlets and fish and chips) were not available. Overall I got the impression that the hotel was intent on saving money rather than giving good service, which is completely the wrong strategy in the hospitality industry.

Check-in was not great .

The bathrooms had many problems - clogged sink, leaking shower area, worn out towels. It was as though nobody checked the room before giving it to us. The ground floor smelled of urine in the morning. The reception seemed lethargic. They refused a second key. When I complained about my stay during checkout, the person at the desk simply stayed quiet and told me that I had been checked out. I have regularly stayed at this hotel for the last few years. This is probably the last time I visit County retreat.

The staff was really corporative whenever we had a problem

Hotel is located in the descent location. Pool bar restaurant was a highlight at the hotel with very good ambience at pool side. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Would recommend this place to friends and family. Service team is very cooperative. Thanks to MCR team.

we have booked 2 rooms check in 20/05/2026 and check out was on 22/05/2026 when we check in around 2.00 pm we have allotted one room at 3.10 pm and other room was around 4.15 pm one room a.c was not working we have complaint about it nothing was done from there side they have given table fan in this hot atmosphere. there was cockroach and bug in there room housekeeping guy didn't turn up. at the time of check out there was food bill was around 3700/- they told me that we will give u 100/- discount. plz guys don't go to this hotel for stay its really bad experience to stay in the hotel napkins was not provided we have been told its on request to be provided these people are very very unprofessional esply the back end guys the front end desk are co operative but the backend guys throws an attitude to us as if they are favoring us

It’s summer least expected is air condition from any hotel, especially during nights.

The internet doesn't work. The front office seems to be a messenger and does not help solve anything. After repeated requests there was no attempt made to resolve the internet issue. My room's access was provided to other guests (who came into my room) and when reported it was brushed off as a minor issue. Not very customer friendly overall. Not the experience one would have.

This is a very nice place to stay in Mysore. Very courteous and supportive staff. Quick response time. The breakfast spread is very nice and courteous restaurant staff. Momoi and Felina in the restaurant are exceptional.

The room was not maintained and unhygienic. The AC was not working and when asked help from the front desk staff, the experience was horrible. In nutshell, not at all worth to stay at with family.

Our stay in County Retreat, was a fabulous experience..The rooms were excellent, the vibe of the hotel was very positive...value for money. Now coming to the food..all the items were very tasty made to perfection. Mr.Prashanta Laik looked after us very well..paid personal attention to our comfort while eating. Mr.Manjunath and Mr.Joginder were also very polite and well behaved All the best to the whole team.Hope to come back and enjoy the comfort offered , very soon..lovely stay..thank you.

My stay at mysore county retreat mysore was an overall excellent experience and one that truly stands out from the very beginning. Even a simple activity like check-in was made special. The staff was highly effecient, welcomeing and thoughtful.

Our stay at Mysore Country Retreat, Mysore was extremely disappointing and one of the worst hotel experiences we have had [25-26 Jan 2026]. During the dinner buffet on 25th January, we were shocked to find a cockroach in the pulao that was served to us. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food safety standards of the hotel. Even worse, when we brought it to the staff’s attention, there was no proper apology or ownership. Instead, they tried to justify it by saying the insect “must have flown into the food,” which shows a complete lack of accountability. The overall cleanliness was equally poor. There was a foul smell near the lifts on multiple floors, and we even noticed cockroaches roaming around the kitchen/dining area floor, which was truly pathetic. Housekeeping service was horrible. We requested just two extra pillows, and despite calling five times, it took nearly three hours for them to deliver them. To add to the inconvenience, the pool in our room was not working, and multiple staff members had to enter our room repeatedly for short intervals while our family was inside, which was highly uncomfortable and poorly managed. The dining area management was chaotic. There was no coordination in table allotment — guests were left to figure out seating on their own. We even saw a small family being made to sit at a table meant for six, reflecting the lack of basic hospitality. While the room itself was decent, the overall experience was terrible, unhygienic, and poorly managed. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid this property.

Had amazing experience. Pravati, Vijay, Idrees, Ajaj and Nila were very good to us and made sure my stay here was fabulous.

Door lock have problems many rooms not our we can’t open so bad

It is a good hotel near and clean. Joginder and Mayuri in the resturant were courteous and helpful. They have taken good care of us. Food and service are quite satisfactory.

The food was good but Joginder was excellent n was very polite unlike the other staff even the even chief Yuvraj was good from Nepal

It’s old require renovation for clean look, buffet breakfast was not good most of the items were cold could not enjoy the breakfast. Lot to improve.

Room was fine. But no warm water in bathroom and the excuse was that this is checkout time and this is expected. Requested 1 extra blanket but received only very thin blanket cover only after calling reception 5 times.

Do not book this hotel. Crazy staffs , slow service, key card not worked, wash basin not worked properly, AC not worked, offered table fan as alternative. Big thums down from my side. I would love to rate negative if possible.

We stayed overnight at this property. The rooms are luxurious and clean but the bathroom is little compact, could have been better for a 5 star property. They offer complimentary breakfast trust me don't skip it. It's very nice.

Didnt like anything about the place - managers are not trained to handle customers, food is non-appetising, poor maintenance of pool and other areas.

The bathroom shower was faulty and did not work. The property needs maintenance and rooms have not been renovated and are worn out.
