Great place to stay in Hiriketiya. Everything was within a 20-30 minute walk. All facilities were included like WiFi, good bathroom, and also option to do laundry. Overall great place to base yourself in Hiriketiya with all the essentials. Family was very nice and accommodating.

There’s no A/C in the room so it would be hot sometimes but the fan helped.

Nothing to like as its just a bed and a bathroom in a very tiny space. In pictures there is a mini kitchen too. But get a very small room. If you are a couple, then bot can not be out of bed at once as there is only 2 feet space between bed and walls. And very tiny space to move.

Perfect stay in Weligama!

I had a wonderful stay! The family was incredibly attentive and did everything they could to make me feel at home. Their kindness and hospitality truly made my experience unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—thank you so much!

The only downside was that at times there was quite a bit of noise from passing tuk-tuks. However, this didn’t take away from the overall experience, which was truly lovely thanks to the amazing hospitality of the family.

We loved our stay in the small cottage..all the basic facilities were available along with a kitchen..it was very neat and tidy. The accomodation was value for money. The breakfast prepared was beyond our expectations and super tasty. Samil and family are very sweet and helpful with everything.

Since it's located in a nice and serene wild location, some insects might come in to pay a visit. So make sure to cover up with the net placed inside.

The place is the cleanest one we stayed! The mother diligently prepared the apart for us. Bed was large and comfortable, fan was working great, there’s a table outside where we worked during the day and ate our meals prepped in the kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped too. They do laundry if you need and you can hang your wet swim gear outside. You can see monkeys and squirrels in the garden as well. The place is close to hiriketiya beach but we preferred going to the dickwella. 10-15 minute walking gets you to good restaurants and cafes. The family is also really lovely, they welcomed us with fresh juice and gave tips for our time there and answered whenever we sent a message. They cleaned the room for us , and asked for another time which we declined as it wasn’t needed. They provided clean towels, toilette paper and soap multiple times.

This guesthouse is truly exceptional, one of my best experiences and home stays out of 15 years of travelling around the world. The accommodation is quiet, clean, newly refurbished with a real quality finish. The bed is so comfortable and the service and attention to detail from the family , lead by the two young sons Sumil and Oman was simply incredible. The food they provide is amazing, all cooked from the heart and fresh. I will come back and highly recommend to all.

Everything! It’s a great private room, super clean, comfortable bed, towels were provided, super quick WiFi. They helped me with my laundry at an extra cost. But the best above all: the breakfast. The host makes all the food herself and it was seriously SO GOOD. Everyday there was a varied, delicious and above all healthy and local breakfast provided.

The only thing that was a bit less for me was the location, it’s quite far from the beach and where you would want to go. But they did provide me with the number of a tuktuk that took me to the city for good prices. So in the end, it wasn’t a big deal.

I had an amazing stay at Ima House! The family running the place is absolutely lovely and made me feel right at home. The environment is so peaceful and calm, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and it’s just a short walk to Hiriketiya Beach. The room was very clean, which made it even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the fast internet was a huge plus. The in-room kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals, and the owner was incredibly helpful, arranging everything I needed. I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip!
