Le calme et la vue des terrasses sur la vallée nous ont beaucoup plu. Bon repas marocain. On a beaucoup aimé prendre le copieux petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon sur la vallée. On monte en voiture jusqu'à l'hôtel.

De kamers waren ok.

Personeel niet stipt. Er werd niet gekuist. Er ontbraken lampen. Veel vliegen en wespen, mieren, kakkerlak.

Le gîte le plus beau et le plus élevé d'imlil, la vue depuis la chambre incroyable. Le staff est très amical, hospitalier, et généreux, beaucoup de gratuités nous ont été offertes pendant le séjour. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées et donnent toutes une vue sur la chaîne de montagnes. Très belle expérience globalement.

We spent 2 nights at Atlas Berber Lodge and absolutely enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt much more like staying with a family. Mohammed and Ibrahim were incredibly kind and helpful. Mohammed speaks excellent English and French, while communication with Ibrahim was easily managed in French and with a little help from ChatGPT. Our room was comfortable, but the highlight was definitely the terrace with its breathtaking views over the Atlas Mountains. Sitting there in the evening was simply wonderful. The breakfast is included and was very good (eggs, breads, amlou, honey, jams), and we especially loved the homemade chicken and vegetable tagine for lunch - delicious, filling and easily enough for two (lunch with desert cost us 200 MAD). It was also convenient, as good restaurant options in Imlil are rather limited. If you are not a practicing muslim and a light sleeper: bring ear plugs as a call for prayer at 4:45 am is very audible and may wake you up. If you are travelling without a car: grand taxis from Marrakech stop at the parking area in Imlil, about a 30 min uphill walk from the lodge. With luggage, we strongly recommend arranging a pick-up with the lodge in advance or taking a local taxi from the parking area. On our way back, the lodge generously arranged a taxi for us free of charge.

A couple of things could be improved. The water pressure in the shower and sink was very weak, making washing in the morning rather difficult. Also, eating breakfast on the terrace can be challenging because the honey and jam attract lots of bees and wasps. This is understandable given the nearby beekeepers and famous Atlas honey, but insect-repellent fans or window screens might help. Overall, a lovely and authentic stay with wonderful hospitality, great food and unforgettable views. We would happily come back.

Unique scenery, looks at the village from a very high vantage point. Dinners were good.

The driver has to be very skilled to reach the lodge. Perhaps less ideal with small children as there is no place to really roam around and it is far from any restaurant or little shop to buy drinks and snacks.

Mohammad and Fatima have an amazing family and made my stay very comfortable. The place is very clean and the breakfast is delicious. The view was incredible from the terrace and Mohammad gave me great recommendations for the rest of my trip. I bought dinner both nights and it was great. The rooms were very clean. I highly recommend staying here, I really enjoyed my time. They are very polite and welcoming. The best view in the valley!

It was a great stay at Atlas Berber Lodge.. The breakfasts were great and the view is stunning. I found out that they even washed my car the day I wanted to leave without even me asking. Thank you so much. Surely it's not gonna be my last time incha Allah

The place is very peaceful and Mohammed and his staff will ensure that all your needs are met. We especially loved the tagine and incredible view from our balcony.

The staff really would like you to enjoy the stay so the do their best and even more. When my wife was interested to see how the tajine is cooked they offered her to watch and prepare our own meal - so in fact we got a free cooking course. (They cooked the most excellent tajines btw among all places we ate in Morocco, our kids wanted to eat the chicken one for three days straight). The rooms are clean and well equipped, the terrace has such an amazing view that you will never forget.

Driving up and down from the village was a stress each time. The road is very narrow and steep on some places and local drivers simply do not stop where it would be most logical to pass each other but go front as much as they can and then you both measure the centimeters not to scratch each others cars - as if reverse gear would not exist at all, or using it would be a personal defeat. It was also bit contraproductive that during checkout the staff insisted to give a positive review right then on Google. (I still give you a 10, but please do not push guests right on the spot!)

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage mit Blick auf das Atlasgebirge. Der Gastgeber äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er besorgte uns einen Guide für die Tour zum Toubkal und half uns bei vielen weiteren Fragen. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

Inoubliable ! Tout était parfait : l'emplacement au calme, l'architecture typique, le confort de la chambre et l'accueil extrêmement chaleureux. La vue sur les montagnes de l'Atlas est magnifique et offre un dépaysement total. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison tout en profitant de vues panoramiques incroyables. Une adresse incontournable si vous passez par la région !

We had a wonderful time at this lovely place to stay! It is wonderfully located near some beautiful hiking trails. The service was incredible, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. Thank you so much!!

Abdoul was an absolutely lovely host and he made sure we were well looked after! He organized a hike with a guide one day and gave us directions to another hike, to the top of Mzik, which was our favorite. Our room was simple, but had everything we needed, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking to wake up to every day. The two dinners we had at the lodge were phenomenal, so very tasty. The lodge is up on the hillside, with incredible views from the patio and rooftop, 10min walk from the Imlil waterfalls and a 20min steep walk down to town. The breakfast is the typical Moroccan breakfast (bread, peanut butter, honey, olives, eggs, coffee and tea), but no fresh orange juice unfortunately.

A little bit more shade on the terrace/patio would have been lovely, because then we could have eaten breakfast outside. And having fly screens on the windows would have been welcomed.

Amazing staff, very kind and warm, always looking out for you. The view that it provides is one of a kind, when you factor in how much does it cost. If I am ever coming back to Imlil, I have no doubts where I will be staying. Thanks to Mohammed and Abdul for all the great service they provide and show the true character of the Berber people. The included breakfast is a feast of it's own kind, 10/10 on that one too.

We had a superb 2 night stay at the Atlas Berber Lodge. After the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, arriving at the lodge was a dream. The beautiful calm setting, the breathtaking views, the clean and comfortable rooms, the delicious local food and the wonderful genuine hospitality from Abdul and his uncle Mohammad are memories we will take away with us forever. Thank you also to Abdul for organising a guided hike for us on Eid which I know wasn’t easy and for letting us sample your home cooked Eid meal - sheep tajin and more - it was absolutely divine! We will recommend this lodge to all our family and friends. They are an all round genuine, kind and hardworking family and we wish them continued success in their wonderful business ✨ 🇲🇦 ❤️💚

Der Gastgeber Abdoul, war super nett und hilfsbereit und hat unsern Aufenthalt wirklich perfekt gestaltet. Das Essen war auch sensationell, es gab traditionelle Gerichte die frisch zubereitet wurden und wirklich lecker waren. Besser als in den meisten Restaurants in denen wir gegessen haben.

What a stunning location. No need for a guide - you can literally join a path out the back and walk up to the top - well the saddle between 2 mountains - took us 2.5 hours to get up (we aren't fit nor experienced!) - up the top there is a little hut where you can buy freshly squeezed juice, water and chocolate bar to sustain you before the descent back down. Beautiful walk - we had lunch in Imlil and then decided to take a taxi back to the hostel as we didn't have an ounce of energy left to walk uphill for 30 mins! Good breakfast of omelette/pancakes, bread, mint tea - served on the terrace overlooking the mountains. It's a very simple hostel but for the cost per night - couldn't expect more and ideal to stay before and after a big walk. Abdulrahman made us an omelette/meatball supper and vegetarian tagine for our arrival which was ideal so we didn't have to think about where to go that first night. The second night we went to Kasbar du Toukbal for dinner - you can walk there along the stream. Lovely place and good dinner but very very expensive for what it was - probably better to go into Imlil as plenty of great places to eat there - then get taxi back up.

Prachtige ligging met vrij uitzicht over dal en Imlil. Ruime kamer en badkamer en heerlijk balkon.

Misschien door het einde seizoen maar er was niet veel energie/aandacht voor de gasten. Badkamer kraan komt weinig water uiten zit los. 2 lampen zijn alleen peertjes of lege fitting, parasol op terras is stuk. Geen schone handdoeken de 2de dag (wel als je erom vraagt). Lodge kan hoge scores halen als de kleine puntjes op de i gezet worden.

Perfekte Lage für Wanderungen im Altlas Gebirge und man ist auch per Fuß schnell unten im Dorf. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einfach nur traumhaft und die Gastgeber wirklich super freundlich. Wir konnten uns jederzeit bei Ihnen melden, Fragen stellen oder Tipps für Wanderungen oder Ähnliches abholen. Besonders lobenswert ist auch das vielseitige und super leckere Frühstück!!!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Prachtige lodge om te verblijven met geweldig uitzicht over de vallei. De host Abdul is echt super, mega lief, wil je overal mee helpen en niks is te gek! Het eten was er heerlijk, de accommodatie is super schoon en we konden onze koffers er achter laten tijdens onze toubkal beklimming. Wat wil je nog meer?

Alles beviel, enkel een extra setje handdoeken zou lekker zijn geweest. Maar ik weer zeker als je hierom gevraagd had dan had Abdul dit kostenloos geregeld. Een goede route omschrijving zou nog een mooie toevoeging zijn, maar enkel details wat ons betreft.

Abdul was absolutely the best! He helped us arrange a guide for a hike and also my partner's 50th birthday (cake, a whole gang to sing the birthday song!). We were very pleased with our stay and the view is just amazing! It is on a hill and there is parking.

We had the most amazing stay here and honestly could not recommend it enough. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with truly breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. One of the highlights of our trip was the guided hike/walking tour through the mountains and surrounding villages. It was such an incredible experience and gave us the chance to see the beauty and culture of the area up close. The nearest village main town is only a short walk down the hill, where you’ll find little shops, lovely food, and some of the friendliest people. The food at Atlas Berber Lodge was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfasts were perfect every morning. What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was Abdul. He is the reason we are giving this property 10 stars. He went above and beyond to help us with so many things during our stay and was always kind, attentive, and welcoming. He is truly a huge asset to this business and made us feel completely at home. Thank you for everything — we will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we meet!

Tolle Pyjamas und netter Gastgeber der schon sehr gut Englisch spricht. Das Frühstück und die Lage bzw. die Aussicht war toll. Wir haben verschiedene Unterkünfte evaluiert und überlegt welche sich am besten eignet und wir haben es nicht bereut, dass wir diese ausgewählt haben, hätte kaum besser sein können. Die berühmte Kasbah liegt etwas unterhalb und hier hat man mindestens den gleichen, wenn nicht besseren Ausblick.

Genug Zeit für die Anreise einplanen, vor allem bei Regen. Die Lage entschädigt auf jeden Fall. Achtung: Wer glaubt er kann einfach loswandern wird enttäuscht sein. Nicht auf alle Wege ist das (ohne Guide) möglich. Je nach Tageszeit, Lust und Laune der beiden Kapperlständer am Checkpoint auf dem Weg zum Cafe Chamharouch wird man gestoppt und die verlangen dann "Beschleunigungsgeld" fürs Passieren oder Wegschauen. Die "Regel" dürfte zwar im Ort bekannt sein und mit den Vorfällen vor ein paar Jahren zu tun haben, aber offiziell steht das nirgends und wenn es tatsächlich so ist, dann ist die mangelnde Kommunikation der wahre Frevel. Wenn man glaubt durch solche "Maßnahmen" den Tourismus zu fördern, dann täuscht man sich. Alle Unterlagen erwähnen explizit, dass ein Guide nur notwendig ist für die Besteigung des Toukbals. 50€ damit man 1.5km zum Cafe spazieren kann ist einfach nur ein schlechter Scherz. Viele Tagestouristen zeigten sich genauso verwundert. Denke nicht, dass die wieder kommen wenn man wie eine Weihnachtsgans behandelt wird.

This is the highest point in imlil to stay. The view of the mountain with the snow on top was insane. The host is super kind and helpful. We were in awe of the view!! Definitely recommend.

Es ist die höchstgelegene Lodge in Imlil, sehr guter Ausblick von der Terrasse und schneller Zugang in den Atlas. Nach Imlil darf man erst wieder runtergehen ;-) Unser Zimmer war groß, 3 Betten, ruhig und sauber.

Zimmertür aus Holz verzogen, schwergängig. Frühstück und Abendessen meist nach gleichem Muster, wir waren 4 Tage, da fehlt es an Kreativität. Der Essensraum ist traditionell, könnte aber ab und an eine Reinigung vertragen. Essen ist lecker (meinst Tahin), Variation nur im Fleisch. Frühstück dauert länger, wenn alle Zimmer belegt sind, aber es hat ja normalerweise keiner Eile.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Gute Lage, leckeres Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Die Strasse zur Unterkunft sieht initial herausfordernd aus, ist aber mit jeglichem Auto fahrbar.

The best views in Imlil for sure. The breakfast and terrace are top notch. Abdul was a lovely host as well. Would recommend to everyone.

Small and simple lodge, located a steep hill up from the village offering amazing views over the valley and the mountains. Wonderful and dedicated staff, who helped to organize excursions. Good breakfast and traditional dinner upon request.

It was difficult to get a stable wifi connection.

Gute Lage, nicht direkt in Imil, aber dafür direkt an diversen Wanderrouten. Wahnsinns Aussicht! Abdul ist der beste Gastgeber, den wir in Marokko erleben durften. Er kümmert sich sehr gut und unterstützt wo er kann! Es gibt Abendessen (3 Gänge) für einen fairen Preis, das schmeckt lecker und frisch gekocht. Frühstück ist ausreichend und sehr lecker. Essen auf der Terrasse mit Panoramablick lohnt sich! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

The view at Atlas Berber Lodge was truly spectacular. Waking up to the Atlas Mountains right from our room was a beautiful experience, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations at all. We tried both dinner and breakfast, and neither was enjoyable. The tagine we had for dinner lacked flavor, and the breakfast was very disappointing , the juice was not fresh, and overall the quality of the food was poor. The service was also quite slow. For example, we asked for tea during breakfast and had to wait almost an hour to receive it, which affected our overall experience.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft direkt im Atlasgebirge. Perfekte Ausgangslage für viele Wanderungen. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns einen tollen Guide organisiert um die Umgebung besser erkunden zu können. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon war unglaublich toll! Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

Very nice and helpful owner, who gladly fulfilled every wish from us. Amazing and plentiful breakfast. Very tasty and cheap dinner (one of the best in Imlil) and beatiful scenery from every balcony. Rooms and lobby were very clean and had everything.

The rooms are not that soundproof, so people around the hotel can be heard from your room (it didn't bother us that much though). If you travel here by car the way up can be a bit tricky.

Die Lage ist ausgesprochen schön mit wunderbarem Blick über das Tal. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlte.

Stedet lå i et smukt område hvor vi gik ture. Personalet var flinke og hjælpsomme, de talte alle godt engelsk. Maden var god. Ejeren gik på eget initiativ med ned til vandfaldet og fortalte en masse om byen og berbernes traditioner

Der var en temmelig dårlig vej til overnatningsstedet og der var meget trafik på den, så det var lidt bøvlet at komme dertil.

Meget venligt personale, god mad (morgenmad og aftensmad), pæne nye værelser med smuk udsigt.

Modest pension with great location and superb view on the mountains. Very hospital host. Owner organized a last minute guided walk in the area for us. Possibility to eat in the hotel, very good price/quality.

Not the strongest wifi (important for teens ;-)) and most well equipped bathroom. When cold wheather, not easy to keep the room warm.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce logement en montagne à Marrakech. La vue est magnifique et vraiment impressionnante. L’accueil était très sympathique et la nourriture excellente. Les chambres sont très jolies, avec un balcon offrant une vue à couper le souffle. Le logement est aussi idéalement situé, à seulement dix minutes à pied du village.

Tout était parfait!

Abdulrahman was beyond exceptional. We travelled with three kids and he want above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I forgot my computer in the lodge and Abdulrahman managed to send it to me in timely manner. The food was authentic, really prepared and great. 10min hike to the waterfall where you can enjoy amazing scenery and even fresh juices and coffee by the waterfall. Also 10min walk to the village where you will find absolutely anything you need, the way back is uphill so we took a taxi back.

Super clean and very accommodating hosts. They were flexible with the time of our meals and even though we didn’t have a guide, they gave us some good tips for where to hike and even let us use their hiking poles.

I had a very nice stay at Atlas Berber Lodge in Imlil with my friends. The views are absolutely amazing, very peaceful and perfect if you’re looking to relax in the mountains away from noise. The food was good, and the atmosphere calm and authentic. Abderahmane was very kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made the experience better than expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there is convenient space to park the car close to the auberge. If you are travelling as a mixed group, I recommend calling the lodge before booking to confirm arrangements.

Ein sehr lieber Host der uns gut geholfen hat und sehr engagiert ist. Er macht eine tolle Arbeit. Die Unterkunft liegt auf dem Weg zu den Imlil Waterfalls, ist also ein toller Start für eine Wanderung. Das Zimmer hat einen großartigen Ausblick und das Esszimmer und die Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Entspannen ein.
