You get to stay with a Moroccan family. The whole family was super kind! They make their kitchen available to use. I was invited to eat dinner with some guests and the family. Close enough to the center to access things there, but just far enough away to avoid the tourist hordes. There is a shop right downstairs.

These are only suggestions to improve the gite (I would go back)… 1. Have toilet paper and soap available for the guests (only squat toilets available, but that adds value to the experience). 2. Make the terraces nicer with places to sit down and have a table. The top terrace was in disarray and was not nice to stay at. 3. Respond quicker to messages from guests. 4. Have a scheduled time for breakfast and let the guests know what times it will be available. Again, these are suggestions to make it a better place. With a few small changes, their rating should go up to a 10. 5. The Internet connection was basically nonexistent. There is no signal at all on the lowest floor, only up top.

A very affordable and nice place to stay while in Imlil. The location just outside of town offers extra calm but obviously requires a bit of stamina in order to get there. Lots of friendly people to chat with and share experiences with. Mohammed was a great host and helped out with organizing the Toubkal hike and let us keep our stuff there while we were up on the mountain.

The facilities are clean but very basic - don't expect luxury. For the price it is still very good value for money.

It was a good location with great view and good vibes. Also Mohamed is very helpful giving hiking advices.

Habitación amplia, limpio, buen desayuno, dueños amables. Está a 10min del centro del pueblo, lo que confiere tranquilidad. Pero hay una tiendecita abajo por si se necesita cualquier cosa. Mohammed nos ayudó a gestionar la contratación del guía para la subida al Tubqal.

Beautiful location with good views, a few minutes of walking away from the busy village centre. It’s a nice building with two stories of roof terrace and a fantastic view. The rooms are clean, well maintained and so are the other facilities. Muhammad and his family are absolutely lovely hosts and he is a great guide for the toubkal trek aswell. Would definately recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

El personal és molt atent i et fa sentir molt a gust, com a casa. No posen problemes per a res. Pots gestionar el trekking al Toubkal des de l'allotjament. El check-in pot ser una mica confós, però si oreguntes al veïns o truques al número de la porta tot es soluciona.

Relación calidad precio bien, no se puede pedir mucho más por 11€. Recomendable para pasar la noche

Very nice and friendly people. Mohammed, the host, is very helpful and always available. Good location, good terrace view. Common area is very cozy and gives you the feeling of being on a remote place. Recommended!

Mohammed is so helpful and kind. The rooftop has a great view and the rooms are nice and comfy. If you’re coming here to trek he knows all the information and people to organise your hikes with and has gear if you need to hire.

Mohammad is very kind and helpful. He can give you super pro recommendation about your trekking and anyother help you need. The hostel is outside the city center, but after just a 15-minute walk, you can enjoy beautiful countryside views and a peaceful atmosphere.

If you want to feel at home, you've come to the right place! Mohamed is a very nice host, helpful and always trying to make your stay as good as possible. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean and the food is tasty and big portions. I recommend this place 11/10!

Host was very welcoming and kept our stuff safe during toubkal climb and let us shower even though we didn't stay there anymore.

Mohamed ist ein sehr lieber und fürsorglicher Gastgeber! Er hat uns gleich zu Beginn eine wunderschöne Panoramaroute, vorbei an den Wasserfällen empfohlen. Die Landschaft dort ist traumhaft schön, die Lage des Hostels ist super! Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber dem Preis entsprechend.

Great place to meet people. The owner is a great guy. Helped me a lot when I was sick. Took care of me. 15 minute walk upwards and you have incredible views.

Very good value for money. Mohammed was a great host and was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the sleep was great. It is a little walk to the centre but apart from that it was amazing and highly recommended if you’re planning on staying within Imlil.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié les conseils de Mohamed. Étant lui même traileur, il m’a spécialement bien orienté dans mes sorties. J’ai également passé de très bonnes soirées conviviales entre randonneurs.

super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! schöne Dachterasse, gut ausgestattete Küche und vor allem warmes Wasser. konnte meine Wäsche kostenlos waschen!

Das einzig doofe ist, dass es keine Heizung gibt und es nachts doch recht kalt wird. Allerdings gibt es mehr als genug Decken, die einen nachts ohne Probleme warm halten; konnte sogar in kurzen Klamotten schlafen.

Friendly and knowledgeable host, has some great tips for the mountains in the region and helps where he can.

It's nothing fancy, but everything needed is there. It's clean, super comfortable beds, you get breakfast and the best host ever. Mohammed is the most kind and genuine person. We went on a hike and he was checking on us constantly and even called on video when we got lost in the mountains and advised us where to go. If we ever go back to Imlil, we'll definitely stay at Mohammed's hostel and we'll climb Toubkal together!

The location is fantastic. Just 20 minutes walk to the waterfalls. A 10 minute walk to the cafes and main centre, and very close to the meeting point for Mount Toubkal treks.

Nothing. For the cost, it was great value. There was no heating, but the bed was comfortable with lots of thick blankets.

The owner Mohammed is very friendly and sympathetic. He's there whenever you have a question or need help. Definitely recommend.

Accueil impeccable avec un bon thé sur la terrasse vue sur le Haut Atlas. L’hôte est très à l’écoute, il nous a permis de laissé nos bagages à l’auberge le temps de l’ascension du Toubkal, il nous a même prêté gants et bâtons. L’auberge est propre et nous nous sentions en sécurité. En plus nous avons fait de belles rencontres! Shukran!
