Pas de climatiseur, fenêtre ne s’ouvre pas, fait une chaleur étouffante dans la chambre

Proximité plage, même si pas très propre Vue sur plage et cocotier depuis la terrasse commune Logement situé dans un quartier calme, entouré de locaux sympathiques A 15 minutes à pied d'un quartier touristique donc animé Au calme Logement propre Nous l'avions pris pour prendre une douche avant le départ en avion, c'était très bien Remise des clés facile, personnel agréable

Pas de moustiquaire ni clim, il faisait lourd dans le logement Si deux personnes prennent une douche en même temps, un a de l'eau froide Fonctionnel

L’accueil des hôtes et l’emplacement face a la mer, et j’ai demandé un bouquet de fleurs en arrivant pour ma femme, et ils me l’ont gentiment apporté, les autres sont très serviable et souriant.

Les photos de la plage ne représente pas la réalité, il y avait deux cafards dans la salle de bain, le lit, pas confortable

Zeer warme kamer, we kwamen er een kakkerlak tegen, geen warm water, bedden zijn een dunne matras op een blok beton, er ligt veel vuil op het strand.

Het was schoon, ruim en vriendelijk ontvangst. En water beschikbaar als we het vroegen. Ook kregen we directies waar te eten.

Nothing actually, i pay for 3 days but i stay less than 8 hours.

Smell is very bad. The room is very dirty. Staff was not co-operative and not speaking English. I stay for less than 8 hours and really I couldn’t tolerate more.

A wonderful homestay located right on the beach, and I had a room with a stunning ocean view. When I arrived, there was nobody at the reception, but the neighbors managed to call the host, who arrived just 5 minutes later. They even found a sheltered spot under the roof to park my bicycle. There is also a large shared refrigerator and a well-equipped kitchen. Overall, it is a great place for those who want to be as close to the ocean as possible and experience local life without any tourists. Highly recommend!

Emplacement situé à coté d'une plage, les jeunes du secteur se sont posés le soir pour prendre l'apéro avec système son et alcool. Musique très forte, voix très forte , nous avons du quitter le logement en pleine nuit et trouver un autre hôtel pour dormir

My room didn't had AC. Though the price i paid was ok. But I wouldn't feel troubled if I had an AC in room and I had paid more money for that. No any TV, though wifi was ok.

Love the location of Anicia in the heart of a fishing village rather than the big resorts in the tourist area further up the beach. Rooms are spotless and has all you need, you get use of the small kitchen and refrigerator, the sea breeze cools the air, and the sounds of the waves lull you to sleep at night. It is the perfect base for an airport run- 29 minutes away and good for any last minute shopping in Negombo - 10 minute walk. Stayed here before and will stay again next time I'm in Sri Lanka.

There is nothing to dislike, it is what it is, a budget room perfect for travellers who want to be immersed in Sri Lanka culture, a place to sit and watch a village come together each evening on the sand to play cricket and dance.

Es ist eine einfache Unterkunft in schöner Lage am Strand. Der Blick auf das Meer morgens beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse, auf die Fischer und ihre Boote oder abends den Sonnenuntergang war toll. Nette Betreiberin!

Beach location was great - it was on the beach in a quiet location. It was a fishing village and it was possible to watch the boats and fisherman go about their business. Possible to walk into town.

Excellent location close to bus and rail stations. On a working beach - great to watch life happen as you have your supplied breakfast. Clean, basic room with fan at a good price. Owner was very helpful.

Удачное расположение, прям на пляже, но он очень грязный, никто не убирает. Красивый вид из дома.

В номере очень душно, работает вентилятор, но он не справляется. Открытые окна не помогают, так как за окном стена соседнего дома. К хозяину постоянно приезжали друзья и очень громко разговаривали, так что в тишине побыть не удалось.

Host Santha really looked after me with ordering pick me up tuk tuks, lovely fruit breakfast, we cleaned the front beach together. He knows how to look after his guest. Has a good heart. Enjoyed swimming to cool down in the ocean directly in front of Anicia beach house. Loved the ocean view out the front of my window. Bed comfortable, Good fan, good shower

Very cheap. On the beach. Clean and tidy. Basic but good shower.

Owner runs it on his own and tries very hard. Bit bossy and pushy. ‘Listen to me, listen to me’ got a bit monotonous at times to listen to. The rooms are far too hot. Even for Sri Lanka. The owner has insulated the rooms(as far as I can understand). Uncomfortable and bizarre heat and I was born here and have lived here. Only stay in room number 1, it has air con that intermittently works. Don’t bother with breakfast. Very good places for food are walking distance. The owner did clear up the beach but too many dogs and rubbish which is not his fault but a shame.

The host was absolutely amazing. He was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. It's a beautiful setting - right on the sea front where locals fish. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in this local area, so I would recommend staying here if you want to stay in an area with character and a friendly atmosphere. The rooms are freshly painted, and bedding, etc, is all clean and fresh. It's not The Ritz, but it's homely.

The roof is made of cement sheets, so the rooms are like ovens. The price during the warm season should reflect this. The light is too dim for reading at night, so bring a flashlight. The small beach is very dirty.

Liked the service and location. Staff member on site was very friendly, accomodating and pleasant to deal with. Calm and quiet beautiful location with a nice bench outside to bask in the sea village feel, amongst the locals.

Consider adjusting the description and price of the the far end sea view room. Although there is a view that room is far warmer than the other once.

We had planned to spend the day and night right in front of the beach, so this is the ideal location to experience the sea breeze.

Anicia Beach House is at the heart of an authentic fishing village set right on the beach ,where you'll be greeted with a warm smile by Pathum who will take care of your every need , from cooking you a wonderful authentic Sri Lankan breakfast ,to taxi rides and where to eat locally. He is a wonderful host and very friendly guy. The rooms are spacious ,clean and comfortable and super budget friendly, there is kitchen that you can use, a covered seating area where you can enjoy watching the ocean and the daily life of fishing boats and their catch of day. The people in this village will make your stay feel wonderful , they love to talk with you and are always smiling and happy to see you. I stayed here for 10 days and loved every minute. Location to local restaurants a short walk away and the beach on your door step was perfect.. Plus the people here are super friendly ,kind and warm. I won't forget Anicia Beach House,and when I come back to Negombo it will be my go to place to stay and know that Pathum and my clean room will be their waiting for me . 🙏😊😊🙏🙏
