The owner was really friendly and would go very far (like many other Sri Lankans we had met in the course of our family trip) to make our time in Sri Lanka comfortable and memorable. Without a special request, he put an additional small bed in the room for our daughter. He managed to buy for us some typical Sri Lankan biscuits at fairly late night hours that we wanted to bring home as souvenirs (we spent in Negombo our last night of the trip). The place is located close to the Negombo beach and is not far from the airport.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Nah am Flughafen. Gut für eine kurze Nacht nach dem Flug. Zeitlich sehr flexibel; wir bekamen um 11.30 Uhr noch ein sehr individuelles Frühstück!
Wir hatten 3 Zimmer. Davon waren 2 Zimmer sehr gut. In einem Zimmer war der Duschvorhang ziemlich verschmutzt und vereinzelt waren Spinnweben in den Ecken.

Reviewed Apr 2, 2026家族4人で利用しました。スタッフの方々がとてもにこやかで、初日から非常に気持ちよく過ごせたのが印象的です。お部屋は十分に広く、エアコンもよく効いていて清潔感があり、フライト後の疲れをしっかり取ることができました。立地については、道路の向かいに飲み物を買えるお店があるのも便利ですし、ビーチやレストラン街へも車ですぐの距離です。スタッフのホスピタリティが素晴らしいだけに、シャワーの点だけ許容できれば、ネゴンボ滞在の拠点として非常におすすめできる宿です。
唯一、シャワーの温度がかなりぬるく、少し寒く感じてしまったのが残念な点でした。暑い日中なら気にならないかもしれませんが、夜や早朝に浴びる際は少し注意が必要かもしれません。

We had just one night there but he allowed us to extend stay so we didn't have to carry our luggages with us. The location was great, close to attractions and restaurants. I recommend it if you need to stay in Negombo.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026I stayed here for one night, and it was PERFECT!! The room is clean and comfy, with air conditioning and stable hot water. Everything I needed was provided, fridge, microwave, and plates. They also offer a nice breakfast. Oh and the rooftop is great!! You can really relax and enjoy a chill, wonderful time there. The host is kind, warm, helpful, and friendly. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026I stayed at JMF as a quick stop due to a late arrival to colombo and a long day of travel for my next destination; Galle. Over all fhe room was basic, but clean. I slept well and found the bed to be comfy. Though, youll need to bring your own shampoo and soap as there was none in the room. Luckily i had some. The biggest thing that stood out was the host and his kindness. He helped me order a ride to colombo and offered information to me. Happy with the room. Very happy with the host.
Soap for a shower would be nice :)

Reviewed Jan 18, 2026非常糟糕的体验。下午3点来check in的时候老板正在吃饭，非常不耐烦地走过来问我叫什么，说我影响他吃午饭了，然后拿出他和老板的短信记录说我把check in时间调整到今晚22:00-24:00了，我说根本没这回事，又检查了booking聊天记录好几回，他仍然坚持不可以入住，他的英语非常差且没有沟通的耐心，无论我说什么他都不信任，非常不耐烦。我不得不在太阳下背着12公斤的背包拎着袋子等他和老板打了十分钟电话，期间他一直态度很差，和老板打电话也是扯着嗓子吼，骂骂咧咧，让我进来等半小时也是摔上门的，感觉他几乎要动手打人了，如果不是酒店不能退了，我真的不想住在这里，感觉人身安全完全没有保障。整个过程中他一直重复表示他也是一个人类，我打扰了他吃午饭。不知道他是存在被老板压榨的情况还是单纯种族歧视。最后他和老板联系好了，他的老板给我打电话说可以补偿我一顿价值4美金的早饭，我拒绝了，实在是不敢吃。我也不需要早饭来补偿，我希望是得到正常的对待而不是被威胁、被辱骂，不是被耽误近两个小时的时间，导致后面在尼甘布的安排完全被破坏了 在斯里兰卡15天，这是唯一一次让我感觉很愤怒、很不安的经历。非常不建议入住，卫生条件很一般，离商业区很远，酒店不接受vjsa卡甚至不接受美元，只接受斯里兰卡货币

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026Établissement très bien situé dans Negombo, à environ 30 minutes en tuk tuk de l'aéroport international (1500 LKR) et proche des commodités de la ville (gare, bus station, commerces...) accessibles à pied Excellent accueil ! et très bon petit déjeuner inclus L'hôte très prévenant est aux petits soins et donne d'excellents conseils pour organiser votre transport J'ai occupé une chambre simple (voyageuse solo) , climatisation, ventilateur, eau chaude, bouilloire électrique à disposition,la chambre n'est pas très grande mais vous disposez d'un salon attenant où il y a un frigo et un micro ondes ! Merci pour l'attention et la gentillesse !!

The bed had some hair on it but other than that no complaints.
