Repeat customer :) I just think it is absolutely flawless and nothing like it in Siargao. I can only recommend.

It’s not beach property, you can’t go to water because rock’s mangrove tress there . Breakfast was so bad 1 day we order food for breakfast but they don’t let us change for rice to bread we just want a 1 pcs of bread but they say need to pay extra but our breakfast was already included. We feel so bad we never come back here

Absolutely perfect. Solar power so always water and power. They also have great water pressure and the only ones which doesn't smell. Amazing attention to detail, the owners and staff are out of this world. Breakfast is great and big. Other places on siargao aren't close to how well this place is run.

We stayed at Kalo Villa in Siargao, and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. Since it is still new, the property is absolutely gorgeous, and you can tell the spaces were designed very well. ​The Property & Atmosphere The layout is perfect, featuring 5 beautiful casitas centered around a fantastic main pool. It feels so nice and incredibly serene. No crowds, no big breakfast rush. Just peace. There is also a great common kitchen and lounging space, which was the perfect spot to meet and hang out with other guests. ​Service & Dining The staff truly went above and beyond—they were so nice, friendly, and accommodating throughout our entire visit. Ms Lea made sure we were well taken care of. We tried both the Continental and traditional Filipino breakfasts during our mornings here, and both were absolutely delicious. ​Overall, we had a fabulous stay. I highly recommend Kalo Villa to anyone looking for a beautifully designed and relaxing getaway in Siargao!

This place was just amazing, a little haven of peace outside of General Luna. Everyone was so nice, and the place was just perfect, pool, room all of it! Breakfast was delicious also!

Such a gorgeous room and pool and garden. It was my boyfriends birthday and the staff let us check in early and put a banner up in the room. The staff were always helpful when we needed something and even helped me book a restaurant for dinner. They also offered us a late checkout the next day.

We had an amazing stay at Kalo Villa. We stayed for five nights and honestly wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautifully decorated—stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were fantastic, especially Joy and Rose, who were incredibly helpful, polite, and always greeted us with a smile. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest and unwind, this is the perfect spot. The location worked really well for us—just a 5–10 minute scooter ride to Catangnan and General Luna for restaurants, drinks, and nightlife, while still being far enough away to avoid traffic and late-night noise.

This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed!! The place is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are very clean, the pool is great, the breakfast was yummy and above all - the staff were incredible. Joy was so friendly and accommodating. She helped us with so many things and went above and beyond to made sure we had everything we needed - she helped us rent a car, book day tours and more. There were some problems with water and electricity on one of the days but Joy made sure she kept us updated as it was getting fixed, it was fixed very quickly and we even got a complimentary massage for the trouble. We stayed for part of our honeymoon so enjoyed the fact that it was outside of the hustle and bustle of the main part of General Luna but was only a short drive/tricycle ride/scooter ride away from the main part!

Je pense qu’il faudrait améliorer le système du petit déjeuner. Les choix sont limités et les portions sont petites. Devoir payer 150 php en plus juste pour un croissant alors que le petit déjeuner est inclus dans notre réservation je ne trouve pas ça très juste.

We also booked a massage with Terry right by the ocean, and it was wonderfully relaxing 🌊💆‍♀️. We 100% recommend this place to anyone who prefers a peaceful stay a bit outside of General Luna – but still only 10 minutes by scooter to reach everything . Det var väldigt gott, dock var det inte så mycket variation eftersom det bara finns två rätter att välja mellan.

Läget var inte jättebra. Det var väldigt lungt vilket var bra men långt ifrån alla affärer och supermarkets, samt restauranger. Man måste ta en tuk tuk varje gång vilket vi trodde ingick och var gratis, men vi behövde betala varje gång.

Légèrement excentré : 10 - 12 minutes en scooter du centre mais c est ok. Il y a un livret dans la cuisine avec toutes des infos utiles sur Siargao, je ne l’ai vu qu en milieu de séjour, peut être le dire à l arrivée serait bon à savoir ^^

If I could I’d give this place an 11/10 because our stay has just been incredible. The place is beautiful, cozy, spotless clean, close to all the main facilities and beaches on the island. The people working there are just spectacular, Joy and Therry helped us in any possible way and are just so kind and efficient. Breakfast is really good, always fresh (the only suggestion I may have is to offer some few more options especially if you stay longer, but that’s just an advice as it was delicious every morning). We were so sad we had to leave, definitely regretted not staying longer and if we’ll ever be back, we will surely stay there again!

Las habitaciones son espectaculares, preciosas y comodisimas, todo un lujo. Solo tiene 5 villas por lo que la intimidad y exclusividad son máximas.

Joy (the manager of Kalo) is super lovely and extremely helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the overall aesthetic of the place is amazing.

Housekeeping was a bit loud in the morning cleaning the other rooms.

Un séjour exceptionnel ! L’accueil de Joy et de toute l’équipe a été remarquable : toujours aux petits soins et d’une grande gentillesse. Les petits déjeuners, copieux et délicieux, étaient un vrai régal chaque matin. La chambre et la villa, décorées avec beaucoup de goût, offraient un confort irréprochable, notamment la literie. The place was clean, the location was perfect (away from all the noise but less than 15 minutes from General Luna) and of course, the staff. We didn’t bring any pets but the fact that it is pet friendly is a very big plus for me. Joy was very informative and at times entertaining. She made us feel welcomed and at home. We are definitely coming back!!!

It’s very minor…the bidet was installed on the left hand side of the toilet. I guess we are just used to it being on the right hand side.

La habitación era muy amplia y el baño igual. La piscina y el jardín estaban muy bien.

Muy alejado de la zona de ocio. El acceso a la villa es complejo, está sin señalizar y sin asfaltar. La habitación tenía muchas hormigas.

El hotel es precioso y la cabañitas muy cómodas y amplias. El Staff es encantador y Joy nos facilitó la estancia.

Nuestro cuarto de baño olía mucho a agua estancada, por suerte era solo el baño, en la habitación no había ese problema. El hotel está un poco alejado del centro, como a 10 mins, como opción tenéis Tuk Tuk que os sale por 300 php mas o menos Ida y vuelta o alquilar moto.

El alojamiento es precioso. Está decorado con mucho gusto, tal y como se muestran en las imágenes. Tiene unas zonas comunes muy bonitas. Gran parte del personal fue muy amable, servicial y mostrando siempre una sonrisa.

No nos hemos sentido cómodos durante nuestra estancia, tanto la encargada como la que creemos que es la dueña fueron muy hostiles. Generan mucha tensión y hacen que no disfrutes de tu estancia. El primer día te avasallan con muchas normas: hay que andar siempre descalzo por las instalaciones, hay que dejar un depósito de 3000php por si se deteriora algo. Al marchar revisó cada rincón de la habitación para comprobar que efectivamente todo estaba en orden. Hemos tenido que ir con mucho cuidado de no manchar nada, algo que es difícil teniendo en cuenta las fuertes lluvias durante nuestra estancia. El desayuno que te ofrecen no es de muy buena calidad, no está al nivel de un alojamiento como este. Es una verdadera lástima porque de verdad el alojamiento es precioso.

The staff are all friendly - the manager Joy is a happy person to be with, always smile, and would try her best to accommodate your needs. Beautiful decoration, comfortable beds. Just next to the ocean that we can wake up with the sound of waves with beautiful ocean views. Surrounded by lovely animals, love their common area, super comfortable Perfect location, less than 10 mins drive to Cloud 9 and main tourist areas.

Only thing is the small road heading to the villa is a bit bumpy. Would be great if there’s clothing hangers especially we are doing lot of water activities Overall it is an awesome experiences

Kalò is a charming and exclusive spot. The atmosphere is intimate and peaceful, filled with a sense of calm. The rooms are stunning, with refined style and elegant design that convey serenity. The bathrooms are spacious, comfortable, and everything is impeccably clean. Joy, who takes care of the house, is cheerful, welcoming, and always available, she met all our requests promptly, kindly, and with great efficiency. A truly delightful corner, which we absolutely recommend for a stay.

Everything! Kalo Villa is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The design & decor were very well thought through, it's just beautiful. I love the microcement aspect of it, and that it's all made from one thing. Very aesthetically pleasing. Even on arrival, we were blown away by its beauty. It's also very clean, and the bed was comfy! The staff were wonderful! Rose and Ate Nila, thank you so much for the excellent hospitality. Rose was very friendly, helped us with all our queries and arranged the tricycles for us. Such an asset to the team! You're surrounded by nature here. You can hear the birds, waves, see animals (frogs, hermit crabs). Having the kitchen is great too as you have the option to cook. Highly recommend, and we would happily come back.

The door lock was temperamental & was sorted a few days in but first day would've been better. The villa is a little away from the main part of GL but easy enough to get to and from, and it's close to sunset bridge which is a vibe at sunset.

We had a wonderful babymoon at Kalo Villa. Joy accommodated our every need with a big smile and made sure we had a good time. We knew in advance that the place is a bit further away from the center but we were looking for peace and quiet, which was 100% the case at Kalo Villa. We loved taking the scooter to go to the town center to discover restaurants and hotspots, and then return to the peaceful sanctuary that Kalo Villa embodies. The pool was the perfect temperature, the breakfast was of decent quality, the cosy garden lights go on in the evening and the room had everything we needed to unwind. Thanks so much for a memorable, peaceful stay. We will definitely stay here again

The only thing we would comment is the temperature of the shower, seemed to be either boiling or cold, no in between, but we were happy to have both options :)

Breakfast is very monotonous and we had no hot water for 3 nights. We had to shower in cold water with bad weather because it almost rained all the time.

The location isn't very walkable. It's really just the villas next to a hotel that isn't very social and not much else around. You can't really walk to buy anything, you definitely need to rent a scooter or have the staff call you a tuk tuk.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at the Kalo Villa! From the get go, the host Joy was extremely helpful and kind and a ray of sunshine. She even went above and beyond to help us with a medical issue. The rest of the staff were also so friendly and a joy to be around. The Villa itself was of impeccable standard throughout, every finish was luxurious and such a nice aesthetic in the room and shared area. We chose the continental breakfasts for our stay and they were delicious and very big portions, with the perfect amount of healthy, balanced food. The pool was great and clean, everything was just perfect - I will be recommending to all!

The staff were absolutely incredible, especially Joy! The room and facilities were top-notch, and we loved how peaceful the property was while still being conveniently close to the main town.

There were a few too many rules about keeping everything clean, especially regarding the sheets and towels, but it didn’t impact our stay too much.

Amazing Stay at Kalo Villa, Siargao! We had an absolutely wonderful week at Kalo Villa! This place has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. From the beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees to the stunning ambiance, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The staff was truly exceptional, and we can’t thank Joy enough for making our stay even more special. She was always there to help with any request, making sure we were comfortable at all times. One night, we had an issue with some noisy neighbors, but even at 4 AM, Joy immediately handled the situation, and the problem was resolved instantly. She also went above and beyond to decorate our villa for Valentine’s Day, creating a lovely photo zone and even making a beautiful DIY bouquet! Her kindness and dedication made our stay so much more enjoyable and memorable. Every morning, we were treated to delicious and filling breakfasts, which made our days start perfectly. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We also loved the white stone walls of the villa – they added such a picturesque and unique charm to the place. We highly recommend Kalo Villa to anyone visiting Siargao – it’s a true paradise with an amazing team!

The WiFi was a bit unstable during the first few days, but that’s a common issue across the island. Fortunately, it improved later and worked just fine.

The included breakfast options could be expanded in the future. It's just one continental and one Filipino option currently. But this wasn't an issue for us.
