Stunning restored property managed by the loveliest Brazilian couple who live on the property . Everything is magical . Setting quiet . Lovely pool , grounds . Very well thought out . Wish we would have picked it to stay more than the one night .. breakfast great . The road coming up the hill a bit of a dusty challenge but most of the places are like that . No big deal .

Insomma, si può stare due giorni nella struttura senza mai spostarsi, staccando totalmente immersi nel relax

Strada per arrivare non proprio comodissima, ma ci sta essendo in campagna in collina, fattibilissimo Forse, a prezzo pieno, costo della camera un pò eccessivo.

Un po' scomodo da raggiungere

Abbiamo soggiornato per alcuni giorni presso La Veronica, in occasione di una breve visita al Chianti. La struttura si trova in una posizione tranquilla e piuttosto isolata, immersa nel verde e nel silenzio, ideale per chi cerca un po’ di relax lontano dal caos. L’ultimo tratto di strada è sterrato, ma nel complesso facilmente percorribile. La struttura è un bellissimo casolare storico ristrutturato, con un’atmosfera autentica e molto piacevole. Tra gli elementi che abbiamo apprezzato maggiormente ci sono sicuramente gli spazi esterni, in particolare i tavolini sotto uno splendido gazebo ricoperto di grappoli d’uva. La piscina è di buone dimensioni e ben tenuta, anche se sia la piscina stessa sia alcuni lettini mostrano qualche evidente segno del tempo. Molto gentile il personale, sempre disponibile e cordiale. L’aria condizionata in camera funzionava perfettamente e il silenzio durante il soggiorno è stato assoluto. La colazione è discreta e adeguata, anche se la scelta non è particolarmente ampia.

La camera era piuttosto piccola, anche perchè distribuita su due livelli. Il bagno, privo di finestra, risultava abbastanza buio. Il letto alla francese era inoltre piuttosto duro e, personalmente, non lo abbiamo trovato particolarmente confortevole. Più che altro, a creare qualche aspettativa di troppo è stata la definizione di “resort”. Per chi è abituato a una certa tipologia di viaggi, può far immaginare una struttura e un livello di servizi molto diversi da quelli realmente offerti. La Veronica è, più semplicemente, un bellissimo casolare storico ristrutturato con piscina. Abbiamo soggiornato approfittando di un’offerta last minute con uno sconto del 60%. Il prezzo finale pagato ci è sembrato adeguato all’esperienza, mentre riteniamo difficilmente giustificabile il prezzo standard per notte, decisamente elevato rispetto a quanto effettivamente offerto.

Waanzinnig verblijf! Het personeel is allereerst ontzettend gastvrij en maakte ons verblijf compleet. Verder is het een prachtige locatie middenin het groen, goed ontbijt en mooie grote kamers. Een dikke aanrader!

My honest rating would be 5/10 overall the property was very beautiful and near to the city Greve and lots of things to do around…as for the resort it was clean the rooms were nice

I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t give other meals other than the breakfast and we had to go out every day in the city to eat or take food and cook it but would be nice if they offered it The breakfast was ok not to many choices the same things every day…there was no fridge inside the room The pool was ok overall would be nice to have music around it the staff was ok The road in the other side around 2 km was bad and bumpy

La struttura è un gioiello!!immersa nella pace delle colline toscane con una vista spettacolare!! La camera nella dependance era molto pulita, dotata di climatizzatore, il letto molto grande e comodo. Piscina bella e pulita, le sdraio sono molto comode. Ottima la colazione, staff super gentile!! Questo è un ottimo posto per staccare e rigenerarsi!!altro punto positivo è che se non avete voglia di fare tanta strada per andare a mangiare ci sono diversi ristoranti in paese a Greve (circa 10/15 minuti in auto) e in particolare c’è La Cantina che fa servizio d’asporto.

Unico neo è che la strada per arrivarci è sterrata (per noi che abbiamo una macchina sportiva è stato un piccolo disagio).

The pool area is genuinely pleasant and charming. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet, don't expect it. A neighbouring dog barked almost constantly, while the owner repeatedly shouted at it, making it difficult to relax. Delicious scrambled eggs for breakfast, otherwise poor variety of food.

The property is located in a peaceful setting, but be aware that the last 2 km are on a very poorly maintained gravel road. The property does not provide any meals apart from breakfast, and the nearest restaurants require about a 15-minute drive each way. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by misleading accommodation information and poor customer service. I booked (and paid for) a room with a private entrance, minibar, and walk-in shower, but was instead placed in a much smaller attic room in a shared building, with none of the key features advertised. After a full day of travel in 38°C heat, I arrived to an overheated room with only a bottle of warm water. The listing advertises walk-in showers and minibars for all rooms, while some room categories also promise a private entrance. In reality not one room on the entire property has a private entrance (or walk-in shower), making the descriptions and photos highly misleading. When I raised the issue, despite providing written and photographic evidence, management insisted I had received the room of the same topology and refused to acknowledge the discrepancy or offer a refund, even after Booking.com became involved and advised them to do so. The dismissive attitude ("we don't have time for these things") and the unprofessional behaviour of the receptionist made the situation even more disappointing. After losing an entire day of my holiday trying to resolve the issue over the phone, I had no practical choice but to accept a transfer to another property owned by the same company. This was the only way to avoid losing both the remainder of my holiday and the money I had already paid, despite making it clear that I no longer wished to have any further dealings with them. Don't expect an exclusive or luxury stay. Instead, expect inflated prices, misleading "discounts," and fairly average accommodation that falls well short of the impression created by the listing.

We had a wonderful stay at La Veronica in Greve. The property is beautifully located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is beautiful and very well maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Everything was well organized, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend La Veronica to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Tuscany. We would be happy to come back!

The last 2 km of the road to the property are unpaved and there is a lot of dust that settles on the car quite easily.

Bardzo zadbana, utrzymana w dużej czystości klimatyczna willa z dala od miasta. Idealne miejsce na odpoczynek. Duża intymność przebywających w tym samym czasie gości. Przemiły i pomocny personel.

Die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist eine Katastrophe! Am letzten Tag hatten wir eine Reifenpanne.. nichts für schöne Autos nur suv. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Und die Zimmer sind laut… Mann hört alles…

Bardzo piękna lokalizacja pomiędzy winnicami i gajami oliwnymi. Świetny otwarty basen z przestrzenią do odpoczynku. Śniadania z rajskim widokiem. Do tego cisza i spokój. Na koniec piękny ogród pachnący lawendą.

Nie każdemu przypadnie do gustu sam dom, bo pokoje są dość ciemne, ale wg mnie rekompensują to prywatne tarasy. Do tego dojazd nie jest dla właścicieli sportowych samochodów. To gruntowa droga, do tego strona. Jednak ja nie widziałem, by komukolwiek z gości to przeszkadzało.

The property is well maintained making very relaxing and enjoyable. We started each day with a delicious breakfast outside admiring the beautiful landscape and views of the Chianti region and listing to the Kookoo birds. The events ended outside enjoying a glass of wine. Centrally located to many places we traveled each day from Florence to Val d’Orcia and sienna. Staff is always there to help make our stay memorable.

The room we booked was offered at an incredible discount of around 50%. However, it turned out to be just one room in an apartment that we shared with other guests. That was fine—the room was decent, and we had a private bathroom. What I found misleading was the original price, which seems unrealistic. Perhaps it was the price for the entire apartment rather than just the room, but I'm not sure. Overall, it's a good place to stay, and the view is amazing. However, I would reserve words like wonderful and excellent for other places.

Colazione modesta. Pochissima scelta , problemi con la caffetteria, pane raffermo. Dotazione bagni minima . Rapporto qualità - prezzo inaccettabile

Le cadre était super et la tranquillité était au rendez vous. Nous avons apprécié la décoration et l’originalité du lieu. De plus la literie était top.

L’accès était hyper compliqué et très mal indiqué. La piscine était fermée et cela n’était pas indiqué. De plus, il fallait payer les consommations sur place en cash si on ne voulait pas être surtaxé en utilisant la carte (+10% de l’addition). Finalement, le petit déjeuner était correct mais n’était pas d’une qualité supérieure.

Hotel located in a very nice area a few km away from the main road. Great views on surrounding vineyards and forests.

Beaucoup d’escalier et l’accès à l’hôtel par la route est un peu difficile…

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay! Matteo was incredibly thoughtful, reaching out to us beforehand to ensure that everything would be taken care of upon our arrival. Jamiller is truly a gem and an invaluable asset to this property; her sweetness and diligence were evident throughout our stay. Despite arriving very late and not wanting to dine out, she went above and beyond to help us find a fantastic restaurant that offered delivery and even set up our table for us. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to all of our friends without hesitation!

Superbe hôtel situé au milieu de la belle Toscane. Nous étions entourés de vignes, d’oliviers,de cyprès, de chênes verts…. Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la région du Chianti, tellement magnifique , mais aussi pour visiter Florence, Sienne et les villages toscans aux alentours. Le personnel était extrêmement accueillant, sympathique. Il avait à cœur de nous faire plaisir et de nous donner de bons conseils de visites, de restaurants, de stationnement… Nous avons passé un excellent séjour 😊

Die Unterkunft hat eine traumhafte Lage mitten in den Weinbergen. Tolle Plätze zum Sitzen um die Natur zu genießen. Tolle Sonnenuntergänge. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders ist die Herzlichkeit von Jamiller.😍 Wir hatten eine Reifenpanne, wo uns alle geholfen haben. Danke nochmals. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Große Zimmer.Jeden Tag frisches Wasser und Keks im Zimmer. Es gibt eine kleine Bar, wo man sich gegen Gebühr Getränke nehmen kann. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll hergerichtet, und kann auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Ein traumhafter Platz.☕️🥐🍌 Man kann sich wirklich gut erholen. Man ist 30km von Florenz und Sienna entfernt. Se vc for viajar para a Toscana, vc precisa ficar em uma hospedagem típica local, e não dentro dos centros urbanos! E aqui, vc, brasileiro, tem um extra: uma recepção super cordial da Jamile, uma brasileira que gerencia o local. A hospedagem fica a apenas 10 minutos de carro do centro de Greve in Chianti, onde a Jamile nos indicou as melhores opções para alimentação e passeios. É uma casa no meio de muita natureza e silêncio, o quarto que ficamos era ótimo e amplo. A estadia foi maravilhosa e indicamos para todos que querem sentir a Toscana de verdade.

Não é uma crítica negativa, mas quem for se hospedar apenas precisa ter atenção com o horário limitado do check-in, que vai até as 18h00. Se for chegar depois, sugiro entrar em contato antes com a propriedade. A subida para a casa é uma estradinha de chão de menos de 5 min muito tranquila.

Lovely secluded location. Charming big rooms and the staff was very friendly. There is a mini honesty bar in the communal area but apart from that, there are no other food or drink options. Best to plan ahead and bring some snacks/drinks with you to enjoy in the garden or near the pool. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we went - I reckon it opens in May - so double check with the property first. Many people point out the drive as something they didn’t enjoy about the property but it really is fine and I had no issues with the VW Golf I rented. Worth it for the location!

I booked this late at got an amazing deal, which made it incredible value for money. If you pay full price, I‘d say it is a bit overpriced and there might be slightly cheaper options for a similar experience. Sun loungers would have been nice.

La cordialità

Luogo incantevole immerso tra ulivi e vigneti a perdita d' occhio che indubbiamente concilia la serenità e il relax. Vi si respira tutto il fascino della Toscana sia negli arredi interni che negli spazi esterni curatissimi. La colazione servita all' esterno con un panorama da sogno è veramente gradevole.

Sehr idyllisches gelegenes, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes altes Haus mit wunderschönenem Garten mitten in den Weinbergen und Olivenhainen. Unter schattigen Bäumen sind Tische und Sitzgelegenheiten, wunderbar zum Verweilen. Atemberaubende Aussicht in die Hügel. Super freundliche Gastgeber, haben uns den Tisch romantisch für 2 gedeckt, weil wir Picknick dabei hatten.

Abgelegen, romantisch einsam, aber dadurch natürlich auch nichts in der Nähe außer ganz viel Natur. ;-)

A bit hard to find in dirt road

Sehr ruhige Woche in schöner Landhausatmosphäre in ruhiger Lage :) Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse sehr solide. Schön ist die Selbstbedienungsbar, an der man sich jederzeit bedienen kann.

Wir hatten E-Bikes dabei, was super ist, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Es gibt keinen gut zugänglichen Raum zum Verschließen und Laden, nur über enge kleine Treppen erreichbar. Unter den zahlreichen TV-Sendern gab es leider keinen einzigen in deutscher Sprache.
