Por decir algo, lo peor fue que el restaurante no estaba abierto, nada importante porque Potes está lleno de restaurantes y el hotel está en el centro.

Lo reservé porque era lo único que había disponible y, después de la experiencia, volveré sin ninguna duda. La habitación, genial: cómoda, limpia y muy agradable. El baño está totalmente renovado y estupendo. El desayuno, simplemente inmejorable, muy completo y de calidad. Una auténtica sorpresa y totalmente recomendable. ¡Volvere seguro!

Auf dem kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz, der nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt liegt, haben wir selbst an stark frequentierten Tagen immer problemlos einen Stellplatz gefunden. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Ort, sodass Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, komfortabel und sehr sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch die große Terrasse, auf der man zu fairen Preisen Getränke von der Bar bestellen und den Tag entspannt ausklingen lassen konnte. Unser persönliches Highlight war jedoch das üppige, individuell zubereitete Frühstück mit frischem Obst, Tostadas, regionalem Gebäck und frisch gebrühtem Kaffee. Die Casa Cayo war für uns das schönste Hotel unserer Nordspanien-Rundreise und wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Very central location. It’s easy to get around Potes by foot. The first impressions could be that it’s a bit outdated, but the rooms are actually nice and big. The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is very nice and diverse. There is no parking, since the hotel is in a pedestrian area, but it is easy parking spot at maximum 5 minutes of walking (maybe not midday, but the rest of the time it’s pretty easy to find a spot).

Tiene un salón comunal con una televisión grande y juegos de mesa. El desayuno espectacular en un comedor con las ventanas abiertas viendo el pueblo y la montaña.

Luego vimos que el resto de compañeros eran igual de majos que él, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. El hotel tiene un estilo clásico-rural muy acogedor. El desayuno maravilloso, te lo van sacando a la mesa y desayunas con vistas a la montaña…ubicación maravillosa y sitio para aparcar gratis cerca. Repetiremos seguro!!!

The location right in the centre of the old town was perfect, and we loved being able to walk everywhere. Nearby parking was free and easy to find, which made things simple. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was fantastic, and the service throughout our stay was second to none - friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. Breakfast was generous each morning, and when we needed to leave early one day for a hike, the team happily made special arrangements for us. The shared terrace was a real highlight, with brilliant views - the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening aperitif. The rooms were excellent value for money, and as a lovely finishing touch, we were given a completely unexpected gift at the end of our stay. It’s these little details that made our time there so memorable. We would absolutely return.

Alles wordt zeer goed gepoetst en is zeer goed onderhouden. De ligging is in het centrum van Potes en is erg levendig.
De bedden waren hard, maar dat kan een kwestie van voorkeur zijn

He upgraded our room to the attic which was extremely spacious with gorgeous views and a nice cross breeze (since there was a heat wave). The breakfast was generous with the views unparalleled. We watched the World Cup in the bar, and Jordan provided drinks and snacks. It was nice and private. The location was incredible. Highly recommend!
The beds were not as soft as I prefer, but everything else made up for it!

Отсутствие лифта, но более всего было неожиданно отсутствие кондиционера, это первый отель за последним 25 лет в моих путешествиях без кондиционера в номере. На улице было +38 и это было реально сложно спать ночью.
