Apartamentos Alquitara

Lovely location with a great pool, in a quiet village just outside Potes. The grounds are well maintained, and everything is very clean. It was a bonus to find that there were shared communal areas with full cooking facilities and a washing machine. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful - note that you will need some Spanish or a translation app to hand. 10-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive into Potes where most of the bars and restaurants are, along with the supermarkets. Perfect location to explore the Picos de Europa area, we really enjoyed our stay!

Praktisch appartement met mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Fijn zwembad met ligbedden. Dichtbij Potes en centraal gelegen voor bezoek Picos. Allerlei leuke voorzieningen voor kinderen: speelhuisjes, fietsjes

Het appartement is een beetje gedateerd ingericht. Soms gehorig bij gebruik douche en toilet van buren.

L'accueil chaleureux, cela change des conciergeries. Le petit balcon avec une belle vue, la tranquillité, la piscine, la salle commune a vec des jeux à disposition.

The property was gorgeous, the garden, the pool, the view and also the BBQ spot (though it rained when we were there so we couldn’t use it). The views were spectacular. The little kitchen was pretty well equipped!

The room was very small, the walls paper thin, so that we would wake up no matter what, if our neighbours were up (or their dog). The bathroom was so small, that you had to squeeze through half open door to get into and out of the shower. The bed was very hard, and although I appreciate a firm mattress this just was almost painful.

Location is amazing. Close to picos (skilift) and walkable to Potes. It is clean spacious and got everything you need. We stayed 4 nights and it was very affordable. Its an classic house, so if you are looking for modern or super luxurious appartement it's not for you.

El complejo esta muy bien, es muy chulo. Todo limpio y bien mantenido.

La falta de normas en la piscina, esta abierta 24H, y como te toquen (como a nasotros) los tipicos guiris con crios que estan todo el rato en la piscina hechandose a lo bomba y se creen los dueños de todo... pues terminas hasta los pe--tas!

Bij aankomst bleek onze Booking geannuleerd, wat niet klopte. En we moesten maar blij zijn dat ze het oploste voor ons. We werden geholpen door de schoonmaakster die geen enkele andere taal dan Spaans sprak.

El lugar no es como se ve en las fotos. Había mal olor, pelos de perro, suciedad, cosas rotas, hormigas por la encimera de la cocina...le falta mantenimiento y limpieza.

El complex d'apartaments estan molt ben distribuïts amb la piscina i els espais comuns, no hi falta de res. L'interior dels apartaments estan molt bé dissenyats i complerts, tampoc no hi falta de res per tenir tot al teu abast. El personal amb Dori al capdavant es desviuen per fer content al client. Nosaltres és el primer cop que hi anem, a estat un encert i esperem tornar-hi aviat. Moltes gràcies.

Baños

Lo mejor del lugar son las instalaciones comunes. Están cuidadas y son muy bonitas. Resulta muy agradable salir a la mesa exterior a cenar.. Los apartamentos están en Ojedo, pero se puede ir caminando a Potes, pues están seguidos, aunque es un paseíto.

En general estuvo bien, pero si echamos de menos algo esencial. El apartamento no tenía ni un solo producto de limpieza, salvo el lavavajillas, disponiendo de una sola balleta y un solo estropajo, usado, para todo. Sería recomendable que tuviera productos de limpieza y alguna balleta y paño más, para poder limpiar o fregar si lo necesitas. Cómo te encuentras en otros apartamentos.

Het was heel schoon en netjes met een goed bed. Wij hadden een groot balkon waar we in het ochtend zonnetje konden ontbijten.

Er is geen vluchtroute bij brand.

None of the staff spoke a little word of English. Check-in/out were messy & unclear.

I had one of the smallest apartments (No. 22) in the first building. It was equipped with a kitchenette, a fridge, a - partly disfunctional - microwave, and a very small bathroom. The building is an old farmhouse, with steep staircase, but has some charme. Also the rooms are nicely decorated. As other guests said: "small but sufficient". However, be aware that the ceilings are wooden, you easily hear every chair movement from the apartment above. The balcony was nice. A slightly larger roof above would have prevented that rain was flooding the whole balcony area (and there is rain, even in summer). In the ground floor of that building is a common shared kitchen with a washing maching, a party room and a tabletop tennis room. Barbecue options are also available. Parking is available at the place, however, be aware that the road uphill is steep. Going downhill the front bumper of my rental car was scraping over the tarmac when entering the flat road. After that I used the large communal parking lot downhill, with about 60 steps to climb uphill and downhill. A good training ....

After arrival it was unclear how to receive the key and apartment number. The reception is in an apartment building deep inside the apartment area, behind the pool, and is usually not occupied. You should call the only person serving the whole area with cleaning etc. by phone, so that she can give you directions. At least this person was not English speaking, so we needed the help of Google translater for the latter registration. In the end I was reading the entry in the leaflet placed openly onto the reservation desk. It said that my apartment would be 22, but not clearly where it would be. It took a while and the help of a Spanish family also arriving at the same time to get the building number. With all that, and the downsides described above, the price I paid during high season (125€) was too much. However, you do not have too many options in this area at that time of the year.

Unos apartamentos geniales, especialmente si vas con niños (piscina, pista de pádel, etc)

Muy recomendable y volveríamos. Cerca de Potes pero a la vez en un lugar muy tranquilo! Muy buena la cantidad de opciones de ocio que había para todo tipo de edades. Lo que más me gustó es la zona de la parrilla.

La ubicación. La zona de la piscina está bastante bien. El apartamento tiene lo necesario. La terraza tiene buena vista y es un espacio pequeño pero muy agradable. Tiene buena zona de aparcamiento.

Debieron duplicar fechas en nuestra reserva y pasamos la primera noche en un hostal que nos facilitaron. Pretendían que pasáramos una segunda noche (de un total de 6) también allí. Todo este asunto lo tratamos por mensaje o por teléfono, ni a la llegada ni a la partida vimos en persona a los dueños del alojamiento. Se hicieron cargo de esa noche fuera del alojamiento, pero realmente desconocemos el motivo. El apartamento es muy justito de espacio. Tiene lo necesario pero sería útil un poco más de espacio para los que llevamos maletas grandes. Tiene una terracita que está muy bien, pero si llueve no la puedes utilizar. Nos faltó información del funcionamiento (wifi o cambio de toallas, por ejemplo). Tiene dos accesos desde la carretera, pero no están indicados.

La zona común es increíble. Espacios verdes muy bien cuidados. Piscina -aunque un poco fría- limpia y muy bonita. La sala común nos ha encantado. Tiene sofás, un montón de juegos para que los peques se lo pasen bien y mesas grandes. Y la casita de madera para los más pequeños, un diez. Además el entorno es precioso y perfecto para desconectar. Camas muy cómodas y por la noche, la paz más absoluta.Todo esto es lo que enamora y por lo que entran ganas de quedarse o volver :)

La recepción no está indicada y cuesta encontrarla. Además no hay nadie (a nosotros nos atendió la chica de la limpieza). El apartamento necesitaría una actualización importante y haría falta una limpieza profunda: rodapiés y cortinas sucias, ropa en los armarios de los anteriores huéspedes, muebles rotos, muebles que no pegan nada uno con el otro, moho en las paredes del baño, etc. Y finalmente, nos parece lamentablemente que no haya cubos para reciclar la basura.

L''Apartament no estava malament, les habitacions molt amples i la cuina menjador correctes. Que tingués piscina exterior és un plus molt important quan viatges amb nenes petites.

La rebuda va ser totalment surrealista, ens van marejar molt per donar-nos les claus i el que vàrem alucinar va ser amb la neteja. Ens van deixar una estovalla totalment tacada, els calaixos dels coberts molt bruts, el prestatge on hi havia la tostadora ple de migas i el balcó totalment desordenat i brut!!!!!

Poca limpieza. En la cocina había bastante grasa.

The location is beautiful and the staff very friendly and considerate. The pool and facilities are great. The overall atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed.

The photos of the apartment in which we stayed didn't match: this apartment was showing its age. The interior was cramped, with too much furniture in the living room, and just not clean enough: stains in the bed linen, mould in the shower, etc. The pictures online show much better apartments, this one wasn't worth the price that was asked.

De schuine lage balken plafonds en de gevaarlijk lage opgang naar het terras Deze is zo laag en scherp, wanneer je je stoot haal je je hele hoofd tot bloedens toe open!

De ligging, het zwembad, de behulpzaamheid van het personeel en de sfeer van het appartement. De douche was heerlijk. Een mooie plek om de Picos te verkennen.

Hier en daar was het wat gedateerd en aan vervanging toe. De bank zakte door.

Faltaban persianas en la habitación, entraba mucha claridad por la mañana

Liebevoll gestaltete Anlage mit großem Pool, ausreichend Liegen, Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen ,Grillmöglickeiten, sehr charmant.

Sehr enge Zufahrt zum Parkplatz, teilweise defekte Geräte. Im Kühlschrank war z.B. die Klappe vom Eisfach nicht mehr vorhanden. Türen ließen sich schwer schließen und durch starken Wind waren 2 Sonnenschirme am Pool gefährlich beschädigt. Das schien niemanden vom Personal zu interessieren.

Bonito lugar, piscina excelente.

Que molestaban por mensajes días antes que necesitaban hacer cargos que no estaban contemplados en booking. Eso hacía temer q cancelaran la reserva. Otro problema es que no tienen recepción adecuada. Cuando uno llega tiene q andar buscando a alguien del personal para q le entreguen la habitación. Después me dieron una habitación que no era la q habia en mi reserva. Todo eso lo arregló una chica q hacía el aseo y que amablemente me recibió, pero se nota q hay una dejación de los dueños de establecimiento de no destinar personal que reciba a los pasajeros. Para finalizar, los departamentos estudio muy descuidados, les falta reparaciones de piso y baño.

Appartement très propre et spacieux, idéalement situé non loin de potes, tout est pensé pour les familles, nous avons passé un très bon séjour

Utomordentligt vacker utsikt. Här finns pool under tak som var varm men svalkande i juli med 30 grader i luften. Två gemensamma kök och ett eget litet i lägenheten. Vi bokade för fyra och fick två smalare dubbelsängar och en bäddsoffa för två. Mycket hjälpsam personal! Gott om spel och möjlighet till aktiviteter på den stora tomten. Tv med många kanaler. Mataffär några minuter bort till fots och även någon restaurang. Till Potes är promenaden längre, men här finns gott om restauranger och affärer.

El lugar es de lujo, muy bien cuidado y la piscina es una maravilla. La ubicación es de 10, junto a Potes y en los Picos de Europa, perfecto para amantes de la naturaleza. El hecho de que admitan mascotas siempre es de agradecer.

En nuestro apartamento la tapa del baño estaba suelta, siendo un poco cutre.

Stedet ligger smukt i bjergene, og der er en hyggelig stemning. Poolen er et stort plus og blev brugt meget af vores børn. Der er gåafstand til supermarked og også til Potes, hvis man vil gå små 2 kilometer. Virkelig god valuta for pengene!

Internettet kører meget ujævnt - i hvert fald her i højsæson. Køkkenet havde kun meget basis udstyr. Der bliver varmt (men der var sat en blæser frem).

Apartamento lleno de escaleras, sucio. Abrías una ventana y estabas en la calle. Otra habitación tenías que tener la ventana abierta para poder tener luz exterior. La tercera habitación estaba en un altillo con 2 ventanucos que no se podían abrir y para acceder a ella había que subir unas escaleras muy empinadas. Para acceder a los baños tenías escaleras con medios peldaños en el pasillo y peldaños en el interior de los mismos. Las ventanas hacía tiempo que no se limpiaban. El acceso al apartamento tenía unas escaleras muy empinadas. Decidimos no quedarnos y al salir una persona tropezó entre 2 escalones y se lesionó una rodilla. Total que al final nos tuvimos que ir. Lo único positivo(por decir algo) fue que no tuvimos que insistir para que nos devolvieran el dinero. La dueña tampoco se preocupó mucho por la situación de la persona lesionada.

Hacia calor y no había aire. No habían mosquiteras y el ruido de la carretera se escucha con ventana abierta por la npcho

All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly, and they happily used Google translate to communicate successfully. Great communal facilities, pool and communal kitchen and large area to chill in. Lots of games and puzzles- brilliant for families. Stunning location, I never got bored of the view from our balcony. Easy to get to Picos Mountains in the car, and Potes is a 20 min walk from apartment. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in North Spain.

Unfortunately 1 of the 2 bathrooms (apartment number 12) was very smelly, I believe from the pipes. Thankfully we had another bathroom and avoided using the other. Ceiling fans or an electric fan in the bedrooms would be a welcomed addition.

Although with quite modern appliances the apartment was looking a bit tired, its clean but could do with a bit of a lift furniture wise and decorating, but it didn't put us off.

Los exteriores son una pasada. Una maravilla la piscina, hay instalaciones para niños, sala común para jugar niños y adultos y... prados para tu mascota. Muy, muy muy recomendable el balance general. Si volviéramos a la zona, repetiríamos seguro.

Acceder da un poco de miedito, hay una cuesta arriba que pone en apuros al coche. La recepción no está muy bien señalizada y la persona que te da la bienvenida, no fue muy... hospitalaria. Los apartamentos en sí no son la gran cosa. Son viejetes. La TV no funcionaba, la tostadora tampoco.

The apartment had everything I needed. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and I didn't have a single extra request during my stay because everything was already provided. It was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

The rooms were a good size. Loved the balcony views. The swimming pool and communal areas were great. Good parking on site. 5 minute walk to local bar / restaurant / shop. 20 minute walk to Potes. 1/2 hour drive to Fuente De.

The rooms were a bit stuffy, although we were there during a heat wave. No fans or A/C. Some of the door heights are a bit low, so I whacked my head a few times. Very few charging points at the beds. One set of bedroom lights ere faulty

Es una pasada de sitio, un complejo con todo lujo de detalles, muchísima zona verde, todas las comodidades en el apartamento. Personal y dueña muy agradables, sin duda es un sitio al que volver. Mención especial a que sea dog friendly, suplemento de 7€/noche, merece la pena 100%

El apartamento que nos tocó necesita una remodelación o arreglo. Apartamento 18. La nevera estaba rota, congelaba todo y me rompió dos botellas de aluminio. En los cajones del baño, había restos de sangre, y el marco de la ventana tenía varios agujeros con un buen hormiguero que en estos días de calor, salían las hormigas y hormigas voladoras a tutiplén, pedimos si tenían un bote o algo para echarlo, y nos ayudaron a quitar todo los insectos. Además del poco control en la piscina. Al final se meten a altas horas de la noche, y poco control hay.

In room 24 the shower was difficult to access due to the door catching on the sink. A smaller sink would be better but it was usable if careful

Stunning views, lovely staff, the terraces on my room were amazing, and right next to Potes which is an ideal location.

Struggled a bit with ants and flies in the room (though someone came to help with the ants as soon as I mentioned it and, though it got worse before it got better, it did fix the issue). There’s also no A/C which wouldn’t normally be a problem in the north of Spain but it was really hot and the flies made keeping the doors open tricky!

Een perfecte locatie om als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken om te wandelen. En een heerlijke tuin met zwembad om ‘s middags bij te komen en op te frissen!
