I would absolutely recommend Sand Camp Oman to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime desert experience. The hospitality was exceptional — the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. One highlight was watching the sunset from the top of a dune right behind the camp. The host drove us up, and the view over the desert was simply breathtaking. The dinner far exceeded our expectations, especially in such a remote setting. The kebabs were made with high-quality meat, and the traditional Arabic sweets were delicious — a wonderful taste of local cuisine. For those concerned about driving in the desert, the camp offers a convenient pick-up service from a meeting point where you can safely park your car for free. The camp also provides activities such as camel riding, dune bashing, and sandboarding, making the whole experience even more memorable. The desert stay was definitely the highlight of my 8-day trip in Oman, and I would recommend it to anyone considering a visit to the desert.

Very nice staff, very comfortable room. We were seating on a bonfire after the dinner and watching the stars which was super nice.

2nd towel would be great. Beds were very hard but we slept well.

A place I will definitely return to! The Sand Camp is beautifully designed and very well maintained, offering an authentic and comfortable desert experience. Badr, the owner and manager, was exceptionally friendly, cooperative, and genuinely attentive to guests’ needs. His assistant was also extremely helpful. Many thanks to both of them. The camp is perfectly located in the heart of the Biddiya sands—clean, welcoming, and truly enjoyable.

Our stay was amasing. The host wellcomed us with coffee and fruits. He was very kind, responding immediately to all our requestst. The breakfast was very good, and the staff did our New Year Eve at the desert unforgettable experience.

Attractions

Sand Camp is like a home away from home in the desert. Badr and the staff make you feel like you are guests in their home and not customers in a resort. They manage all issues and queries personally. The breakfast and dinner options were amazing and good value for money.

One small feedback. Please add some hooks in the bathroom to hang towel and clothes.

Nous avons adoré l’hospitalité et la gentillesse de toute l’équipe. Les excursions ont été juste incroyable, le logement était très propre, la nourriture était excellente. Il répondent à nos besoins très rapidement, ils sont d’une amabilité incroyable ! Nous recommandons à 200%, allez y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçu. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons.

Tutto veramente indescrivibile, il titolare é stato super gentile e premuroso facendoci vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile, ad iniziare dal ritrovo al punto d’incontro, al giro in Jeep e con i cammelli (che consiglio assolutamente) e per finire con la cena il falo’ sotto il cielo…le stanze sono super e anche il fatto di avere la piscina non é male

Superbe emplacement dans le désert, très grande chambre, propre et calme. Accueil très gentil du propriétaire qui a tout fait pour satisfaire nos demandes. Incroyable service clients. Si je pouvais je mettrai 12/10 tellement nous avons apprécié notre séjour

Шикарный отельный комплекс посреди пустыни. Огромные номера, просторные душевые, новые кровати и матрасы, новая чистая постель. Много зон отдыха с фруктами, кофе и чаем, есть бассейн. Только позитивные впечатления. Рекомендую!

Nice owner, delicious breakfast. Really wonderful experience. Great safari on dunes with excellent pilot of Toyota Land Cruiser! I felt safe and relaxed.

Nous sommes venu pour se déconnecter de l’Europe. Et ce havre de paix nous a permis de nous évader. La balade en chameau, le tour en motors bike ( quad) été excellent, le couché du soleil sur les dunes nous a permis de profiter au maximum ainsi que de faire de la luge sur le sable. Sans oublié l’accueil et l’hospitalité du domaine qui est indescriptible d’une gentillesse sans nom.Au petit soin tout en respectant notre intimité. Et si je peux me permettre la nourriture omanaise et juste incroyable.

The camp is very nice. The location in the middle of desert. Bader was an excellent host. He took us in a nice experience crossing the sand and rode camels. The breakfast was delicious and we ordered dinner and his mother cooked it and it was very delicious. The atmosphere in the camp is family and comfortable. The room is clean and comfy.

Tout était génial, Badr est un super guide à l’écoute et toujours aux petits soins. Il a prêté attention à chaque détail pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux et nous a fait découvrir le désert comme on ne l’aurai jamais connu Une expérience inoubliable à faire dans ce camp qui dispose d’une piscine et d’u e salle de sport avec une vue à couper de souffle lors du coucher de soleil et même en pleine nuit vous avez un plan avec des tapis en hauteur pour vous poser. Il nous a amené chez des locaux chez qui nous avons pu boire un café omanais typique ainsi que manger des dattes Sa maman était également très sympathique et le repas était super bon. On a eu droit à un bon thé autour du feu de camp Il y a également des animaux au sein du logement très adorable. Je recommande à 100% ce camp
