Not provided with an extra feet towels in the bathroom. No television provided in the room. Trash from previous guest not collected in the dustbin in toilet.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026The room and ambience was nice. The toilet was clean and beautifully designed. The staff was friendly although it was only through WhatsApp. There was a hairdryer, iron, fridge. Inside it was almost like a 4 star hotel
The ground floor was empty and dark. The room was not soundproof

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026Habitación cómoda, silenciosa, baño grande, armario grande, decoración original. Nunca vimos a nadie, ni del personal ni otros clientes. Son dos plantas con pocas habitaciones. Instrucciones correctas y precisas por whatsapp para la entrada. La puerta exterior parece un poco insulsa pero entras con clave.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026Sehr großes Zimmer und geräumiges Bad, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Schrank, hervorragendes WLAN, flexibel CheckIn, Restaurant und Supermarkt um die Ecke.
Das Zimmer wurde während meines Aufenthalts (3 Nächte) nicht gereinigt, Lage ist ok, aber Umgebung auf den ersten Blick etwas trostlos, 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Innenstadt.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025Super schön eingerichtet. Man hat keinen eigenen Balkon und auch nicht wirklich ein Fenster gegen aussen. Wenn man aber viel in der Stadt unterwegs ist, reicht dies vollkommen aus. Was man hat, ist ein sehr sauberes und hübsch eingerichtetes Zimmer mit schönem Badezimmer. Auch der Eingangsbereich und der gemeinschaftsbalkon ist sehr hübsch anzusehen.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Bilik besar dan selesa. Deko ala-ala style Jepun so nampak estatik anak-anak muda suka. Bersebelahan dengan dobi jadinya sangat senang untuk mendobi baju jika perlu. Self check-in so tidak payah berurusan melalui kaunter mudah dan cepat. katil yang sangat selesa dengan 4 bantal. Sangat bersih dari bilik hingga ke bilik air. Anak-anak muda atau belasan tahun akan suka vibe di dalam Domo ini.
Bilik air agak tidak muslims friendly walau bagaimana pun ia besar dan selesa. ,Mungkin perlu di tinted sepenuhnya untuk elakkan nampak aktiviti di dalam. Jika hanya berdua suami isteri mungkin tiada masalah tetapi jika bawa anak-anak parents perlu terlebih kreatif untuk tutup pintu shower area. Tidak sesuai jika bawa warga emas atau yang ada masalah lutut atau kaki kerana perlu naik tangga yang agak tinggi untuk ke tingkat 1 atau 2. Jika ada masalah semasa check in perlu ambil sedikit masa kerana berurusan hanya melalui whats app jadi dinasihatkan check in awal sebelum malam.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2025+ a really nice, cozy room for a cheap price + location: you just need 5-10 minutes walking to A Famosa; also the hotel is only 15 minutes walking distance to the Portuguese settlement = amazing location + there is no reception: but everything went without problem (code for the door of the building, getting your key, etc.) + the room was quiet (although it was a bit off season, so not many tourists around) + cozy bed, useful fridge + shower, etc. all worked fine + internet worked fine as well
- just as an information: this place is only to stay/sleep; you should be aware that there is no common space where you can meet other people like a living room or kitchen (this was no problem for me, but you should be aware of it)

No big dustbin was available in the room, only a small dustbin inside the toilet, suggestion to put a big dustbin for room use, also there was a frozen item in the fridge which looks like it was there from long long time ago😅

Ants were in the bed room. And window curtain should be wider to hide my room perfectly. 1st Fl is doing nothing. They are acting like a hotel but they are actually just Airbnb. I wish first floor at least could be a cafe or lobby. I even stay more than 5 days but they asked me to pay for cleaning so I just check out. they need more professional system.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2024I liked the simplicity od the room, nothing useless. I think it was one of the cleanest rooms in Asia so far. The contact with owners was easy, there is self check - in. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the old town but there is also at least one delicious restaurant and big shopping mall nearby.
The smell in the room could be better, but I guess it is really difficult to keep it fresh in rooms with no windows.

The accommodation was small, had an indoor window, (the window was directed to the restaurant downstairs) and it was quite dark and stiffling. The location was good to walk to the city center. The online check in worked good, with all the information you get in advance. Overall a good place to stay for low budget in Malakka.
The door to the outside once got jammed. The dark, stiffling room.
