Attentive staff, nice selection of quality food in the restaurant. And good location for exploring the Cotswolds and the Oxford area.

The room itself was modern and clean, the only drawback was that there was no privacy where the wash bowl was located, maybe even a curtain would do between the bedroom area. Also our wash bowl plug didn't work for some reason, so it wouldn't hold any water (Rm8). Apart from those minor issues, it was an enjoyable stay.

Zimmer war sauber und ansprechend Essen war gut, jedoch wurde der Nebentisch mit Spray abgewischt und Boden gekehrt, als wir gerade gegessen haben

Wir konnten leider aus persönlichen Gründen erst am 2. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes anreisen. Wir standen vor verschlossener Türe, da Check in erst ab 16 Uhr. Tagsüber ist keiner im Hotel und das Hotel wird zugesperrt. Wir mussten 2 Stunden warten, obwohl wir das Zimmer bereits für den Tag vorher bezahlt hatten. Der Inhaber des Hotels ist leider nicht kooperativ bezüglich eines Nachlasses des Zimmerpreises. Ich habe noch NIE ein Hotel erlebt, das tagsüber zusperrt und keiner erreichbar ist!!!

The staff were excellent, in both the hotel and restaurant, where we chose to eat. Accommodation was just right, with good clean room, all facilities on site including spacious parking. Restaurant food varied evening menu and delicious. Good breakfast

The staff were excellent; Ali had understood my request to book meals in advance as my partner with dementia finds waiting difficult, and Mohammed, who was assigned to look after us in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was kind, attentive and efficient. The food in the evening and morning was delicious; the avocado on the breakfast particularly tasty! it was well positioned, has a generous car park and the rooms were quiet given the proximity of the A420. The wee garden was pretty and the painted lady butterflies all over the buddleia great to see.

The room was a bit of a challenge - there was a step down from the entry area into the main sleeping area which meant every trip to the loo involved negotiating this step. For fully functioning adults that may not be an issue, but definitely a trip hazard if you are a bit bleary in the night. I don't know if the more expensive rooms have this as a common feature. And the toilet door closer was incredibly heavy, even to a gym fit me, and my partner couldn't manage it. Why there is a fire door closer on the shower/loo is a bit of a mystery. I advised the staff who explained it was a new build; perhaps they can dial down the settings.

The decor was very trendy. The staff were very attentive. Everywhere was contemporary (with all mod cons) & spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The food was very tasty.

There was a smell of ? sewerage on the corridor (we didn't mention it unfortunately). The food was rather pricey. The location was a bit remote & it was difficult to walk into town as there was no path in places on what was a busy road.

Everything about the boutique hotel was lovely. The staff were so attentive and friendly. It's clear that they are highly focused on customer care and friendlies.

The accommodation is actually just quite a ‘swanky’ motel, alongside The Snooty Mehmaan restaurant. That was fine for us, as we wanted a one night stop-over as part of an extended road-trip, and so didn’t need full Hotel facilities. Check-in was quick & easy. Allocated #8, and it was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was ’compact’, but the shower was good quality. (This should be 'a given', but it's amazing how many places can't get this right). Parking directly outside, and WI-FI come included in the price. A really tasty al-a-carte breakfast was also included, and the staff were really friendly and engaging. (Shout-out to Ali). The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well maintained. In fact, it appeared as if it had been recently refurbished, the decor was that fresh? We would definitely recommend for a one-night stay, if you’re on a long journey.

There are no facilities here, other than your room, (and the restaurant alongside) so it's a stretch for it to be called a boutique hotel, and at £125 a night it isn't cheap, but I guess that's the going rate?

The door into the bathroom was quite heavy as spring loaded to close. Also the beds are not made each day so you need to ask for replacement tea & coffee as needed.

Restauration indienne (attention aux plats, très, très pimentés, dont certaines formules proposées au petit déjeuner)

Good location, very visible from main road and excellent parking available. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast excellent and restaurant very clean. Room was clean, although a couple of areas were beginning to show some wear: a little odd that the sink was located in the lobby of the main room rather than the bathroom, but I guess it was designed to accommodate a large walk-in shower.

No lifts available and whilst I can walk with some difficulty, a less able bodied guest would struggle.

Loved everything. Some of the loveliest staff, who all wanted to make our visit extra special. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, we had planned to have one evening meal and ended up having three evening meals (out of our four night stay). Breakfast was also excellent.

We were only there for four nights.

The location

Friendly staff, excellent food in the on site restaurant and air conditioning in the room which was particularly appreciated during the heatwave we experienced while staying at the hotel. We travelled on a motorcycle and the staff allowed us to park the bike under covet and out of sight of the main rand that passes the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Is quite a long way from a town, not a negative, but be aware

We picked this as it was in the area we were visiting. The rooms were away from the road and really quiet - a bonus in the UK, they have air con which is great in the heat. Our room and bathroom did not look very old and were fresh and clean. We opted to eat there in the evening - The Snooty Mehmaan, goodness, our meal was possibly the best Indian cuisine we've ever had!!! For breakfast, there was a good selection on offer, again excellent food and very attentive staff.

As soon as I walked through the door to check in I instantly knew I'd chosen the right place for a night away to celebrate my birthday. The place is immaculate.. and beautifully decorated and we were greeted with the warmest welcome. Our room was so clean and comfortable with (in this weather) much needed air con 😌 We decided to book into the hotel restaurant which didn't disappoint. The staff were lovely and engaging and nothing seemed too much. The food was beautiful and well presented. Somewhere I would definitely eat again. We were also booked in for breakfast which again was great. Such a lovely stay.. I would definitely book to stay again

The sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. In the night it disturb you partner when need to wash your hands. Bathroom times got black marks

This Hotel was the highlight of a recent trip from Scotland all the way to the South of England. The quality of the rooms and food was superb, but the outstanding feature was the staff and management who provided an unmatched positive experience through their customer service. We travel a lot, worldwide, this was the best we have experienced in years. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about the Hotel and it's restaurant. Warm welcome, the room was clean. Comfortable bed, great pillows, air con (very welcome), tea, coffee, water, all very modern. Attention to detail. Quiet and relaxing. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Shame we live 2hrs away.

The sink was in the corridor the door to the toilet was extremely heavy. The roof eaves were very dangerously close to the bed and I banged my head several times We left early as we felt uncomfortable.

First off we were greeted by Ali who was absolutely exceptional. He gave us a professional and comfortable tour of our room, facilities inside and how to use them. Every morning for breakfast (which was already set and organised for us when we requested a time!) He would greet us with amazing hospitality. The rest of the team were amazing too. And oh my goodness the chef was brilliant! I had Belgian waffles with fresh chopped fruit, chocolate sauce and oreos. My partner had a full english, and we both left our plates nearly glimmering clean. Cannot commend the team, location, and cook more. Brilliant stay and will be returning!

The whole place was immaculate, the room had everything we could possibly need, bed was comfortable and it had aircon which was a massive bonus as it was so hot outside. The owners clearly take pride in what they do and I will definitely be going back! Great value as well. Food was delicious and the staff could be nicer and more helpful.

Room was spacious and very clean. Lovely large bathroom and shower. The staff were very welcoming and proffesional. Breakfast options were different but very tasty. Location initially seems a bit isolated, however there are lots of options in driving distance. Recommend the Rose Revived pub, offering a beer garden on the river with options to hire paddleboards etc.

Nothing really to not like. Its definitely accommodation to use as a base camp and stay for a night or 2 at most.

The comfort, cleanliness, staff and restaurant were all excellent. Location was good to explore the area. Do not assume you have dined at the best Indian restaurant in the World until you have tried the Snooty Mehmaan. The staff and service were exceptional putting most 5 Star Hotels to shame.

The only thing we didn't like was the 50mph speed of the A420 road going past the entrance to the hotel. This is not the hotels fault. The local council should reduce the speed of the road in that section to make exiting the hotel carpark less exciting.

Everything was top-quality. The hotel made sure my room was cool for when I arrived (in a UK heatwave), the room was clean and the bed very comfortable, I loved the walk-in shower with plenty of room, the breakfasts were absolutely delicious and not too greasy. I also appreciated having a large bottle of Evian free in my room when I arrived. I appreciated this kind of attention to detail. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable room, air-conditioning was very welcome after a busy working weekend in high-20s heat! The restaurant is excellent, too. Had a splendid meal on the evening I arrived and a very enjoyable breakfast the next morning. Staff were extremely kind and helpful, would definitely stay here again.

Vriendelijk onthaal, heel nette en ruime kamer met goede airco, op 15 minuten rijden van een park&ride in Oxford. Ruime keuze aan Indische en Aziatische gerechten in het restaurant. Ontbijt was verzorgd en er kon zelfs een typisch Indisch ontbijtgerecht gekozen worden.

Kamer aan de achterzijde had enkel een velux raam waardoor je geen zicht op buiten had, maar je had dan ook geen last van straatlawaai, want het hotel ligt aan een drukke baan. Er was een brandwerende deur tussen de badkamer en de slaapkamer die nogal luidruchtig dichtklapte.

I had a lovely greeting and even an upgraded room! They carried my bags and calm music was playing in my room. Such kind staff, amazing air con and lovely clean room. Lovely toiletries, free parking and comfy bed. I'd recommend staying here.

Only thing is I couldn't get onto the WiFi and the glass bin lorry woke me up.

Fabulous hospitality. On arrival we were greeted and helped with our bags to our room. Ali then gave us a full introduction to the room. Free on site parking. Very comfortable bed and very quiet. Breakfast was by menu your choice of a cooked brrakfast. The quality was excellent. Great value for money . We so appreciated the air conditioning.

We liked everything and would stay again. The property is not in town so you probably need a car.

Absolute Empfehlung von uns. Wir würden jederzeit hier wieder einchecken. Zimmer sauber, Parkplatz direkt am Haus, kleine Frühstücksauswahl, dennoch für Jedermann Etwas dabei! Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und serviert, kein Buffet. Mit den besten Wünschen und nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank an alle.

My only criticism is the bath towels provided were a little on the small side. Most hotels today provide bath sheet size rather than standard bath towel size. But this is only a minor point.

The restaurant t was Indian food only which I didn't realise as didn't see anywhere when I was booking.

The staff were very friendly and the room was nicely decorated with a very good shower. The whole hotel felt very new, smart and modern.

The location was on a very busy main road, however once inside you could not hear any traffic. The room was 'bijou' a little small, and the only other thing to mention was that there was a skylight window rather than a window to look out of which I wasn't too keen on. However for one night we were quite comfortable.

The airconditioning (hottest day ever in May), comfortable bed, good shower, big tv, the Indian restaurant downstairs. We ate there twice. Great food and service!
