Great staff, food and facilities. Game drive was amazing.

De locatie, de kamer, het eten (boma en visdag), de gamesdrives, hide en uitzicht vanaf het restaurant meer dan fantastisch. Zeker een plek om terug te komen en aan te bevelen bij fam en vriemden.

Das Personal ist mit wenigen Ausnahmen eher unfreundlich. Man fühlt sich, als würde man stören. Die Safaris werden in großen Trucks durchgeführt. Wir hatten Glück mit unserem Guide, der sehr viel erklärt hat. Leider gibt es auch Guinea, die nur durch den Park fahren ohne viel Erklärung. Das Essen war ok. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier insgesamt eher nicht.

I stayed at the lodge because I was going to a music show in sun city and the resort and other properties close by were fully booked. I was left frustrated when I didn`t get flexibility w.r.t dinner. The lodge does not provide lunch even though the room rate is pricy. I had to wait for the scheduled time for dinner.I ate in a hurry for the show. When I asked to be accommodated I was told I would have to pay for that. I think options should be provided and flexibility as well. But I managed to get to my music in good time when it had just started.

The lack of flexibility w.r.t dinner; eg swap dinner for lunch etc without being charged for it as the room rate is already very high.

As a South African, the cost of my stay was too high for the service received. The room was average, the balony was too small to even sit on, the food was average and did not meet up to my expectations.

Séjour incroyable avec un personnel bienveillant et aux petits soins. Safaris magiques autant le matin que le soir, petit déjeuner copieux et varié comme le dîner ! Nous avons pu tester le boma le repas avec musique et décor dépaysant avec grillade, c’est magnifique! Un voyage inoubliable

L'hôtel est très bien équipé et beau : piscines, activités pour enfants, mini golf... Possibilité de voir des animaux depuis l'hôtel et un tunnel sous terrain ! La chambre était confortable et avec vue sur le parc donc très beau. Les repas sont bons.

En comparaison avec d'autres Safari fait en Afrique du Sud, le parc est moins "riches en animaux"...

La camera era confortevole, e il letto comodo. la posizione ottima per raggiungere un ingresso del Pilanesberg anche in self-drive. nel prezzo era compreso un safari / giorno. Una delle due guide è stato fantastico e ha ecceduto l'orario di rientro per seguire un leopardo. nella pozza davanti al ristorante possono arrivare animali per abbeverarsi. abbiamo visto un elefante mentre ci godevamo alcune ore di relax tra un safari e l'altro.

La camera fredda nonostante il riscaldamento ad aria e peccato fosse un po' buia. il bagno un po' datato. Sarebbe bene prevedere una rinfrescata. La cena barbeque inclusa è stata carina e ben organizzata. Il cibo però non eccezionale.

Da localização dentro do parque e do Hide. É possível ver animais do restaurante. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos.

A piscina principal estava fechada em obra. O Hodr também ficou fechado nos últimos dois dias da viagem. Durante o dia o hotel fica bem parado. Tem um degrau alto no quarto que dificulta a hospedagem com crianças pequenas. O jantar boma também deixa a desejar.

The service, for me:service makes the holiday From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were intruding, their system were not syncing with booking.com so we were not received well, receptionist was unfriendly Dinner was a mess, they had about 2 waiters looking after so many tables, also we are dinner in a conference room so maybe that threw them off In toom: we called receptionist for a pen and paper - they transferred us to housekeeping, who said they dont have and hung up on us... called reception so upset, only then they sent it I took my niece there for her birthday and felt that bad service took her experience away 😒

Brought an overseas friend through for the night for his first bush experience. It was fantastic and Kwa Maritane was an amazing place. We only had 1 night but the food, the vibe, the game drive, and the location was excellent. Highly recommend!

Amazing staff and as they messed up our check in they gave us an extra night which was an amazing gesture. The bush meals on Sunday evening are the best.

The restaurant and viewing deck were closed for renovations (but not disclosed beforehand), so could not enjoy a view of the bush from the hotel- only of the garden & pool. The conference room used as a temporary dining hall was dark and stuffy. Buffet food very average, same menu each day.

De ochtend game drive, ontbijt en check out tijden zijn erg strak gepland, waardoor je na de ochtend safari heel erg moet haasten terwijl je eigenlijk wat meer wilt kunnen genieten van de lodge en omgeving, dat is wel een beetje zonde.

Wait staff excellent. Reception staff poor. We had great difficulty in getting an appropriate room for disabled guest. Only achieved after several representations and threat to cancel booking and go elsewhere.

The staff were great. The location ticked all the boxes and the venue was most attractive and in line with a bush venue. We had a most enjoyable and productive game drive on the evening of our arrival.

We were disappointed with the room. The beds were hard. The couch in the bedroom was worn and not comfortable. The carpets were very dated and unattractive. The food at the restaurant was very disappointing and not in keeping with expectations. Generally I didn't feel that Kwa Maritane delivered value for money and the quality of the accommodation and food was not in keeping with even a mediocre family hotel. Our booking through booking.com was efficiently processed, however, within a day of the booking being confirmed, Kwa Maritane reverted with payment demands, which were not in keeping with the Booking.com confirmation and the resort threatened to cancel our booking unless payment over and above our lodged credit card, were made. We approached the property directly. They were insistent on this upfront payment being made. We then approached Booking.com who very quickly resolved the situation. No sooner had we received confirmation that the original payment terms were valid and no additional payment needed to be made, than we receive further demands from the property that immediate payment be made. The matter was ultimately resolved by the manager of the hotel, but the process was unnecessary, time consuming and very irritating.

Proximity to the animals. The game drives & drivers were excellent. The rooms & facilities were very good. We were trying the venue for the purposes of various friends visiting & would highly recommend the venue particularly for families. We will be back!

This is a good bush getaway that caters for a safari experience

Game drives were the highlight - 2 per day covered in the daily rate. Saw lions eating their kill, leopards (one in the tree climbed down and walked beside the vehicle, mother and teenage cub strolled along the road), bull elephant brushed against the safari vehicle), cheetah, many rhinos, buffaloes and other animals. Activities were planned during the Easter weekend for the children. Buffet breakfast and dinner included in the daily rate. Friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and kind.

The rooms were badly lit. There is no covered walkway to walk through when it rained, especially when we checked in. I had paid for the accommodation upfront, but when my husband went to check in, they charged him as well. They were very quick to rectify this mistake though. There was this constant sewer smell in the rooms and the surrounding area. The food was tasteless.

The breakfast set up was fantastic and met everyone’s tastes and needs. The evening buffet was also superb. Lunchtime menu was very reasonably priced and all the staff went above and beyond to make you feel like you were their absolute priority. The game drives were a real treat. We were blessed on most of the drives to have extremely knowledgeable and funny rangers who put everyone at ease whilst ensuring we got the most of the experience. Happy to answer questions, take extra time over individual interests and worked hard to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible. It was equally delightful when they talked about the plant life and benefits and the purposes within the reserve. The lodge itself is absolutely perfect for children and families have plenty to explore. All in all, this was a fabulous trip and we only wish we lived closer to enjoy it more frequently.

Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit Terrasse. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber sowie die gesamte Anlage inklusive Pool. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) ist sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Jeder findet dort etwas sehr schmackhaftes. Die Safari Touren sind im Preis inkludiert und sind einfach nur ein Traum. Die Ranger sind dabei bedacht den Kunden soviel wie möglich zu Zeigen und zu Erklären.

Hier gibt es nichts zu berichten!

Quarto com ótimo espaço, cama boa para dormir e equipamentos funcionando perfeitamente. A alimentação do hotel é nota 10.

Tem um degrau q possibilita quedas. Os móveis são antigos mas bem cuidados.
