The place is absolutely beautiful with so many things to do.

The stuff. And booking.com Was not clear when booking that the rooms I selected were not self catering. I wanted a family setup as I was travelling with kids which was imperative for me to have kitchen facilities. Only to get there and be told its rooms without any kitchen. Even upon arrival the staff was not helpful to see that my needs were met. The trip was not the best and the experience esp from the staff was underwhelming.

The staff clean but do not offer still water. There was no transparency regarding the breakfast when I enquire because while making the booking I booked for breakfast but when we get there everyone didn’t know about the breakfast.

1:The wifi at my room was on 1 bar,it was not working properly throughout my stay 2:The tv (dish)only played 3 channels and not all of them,therefore I had limited tv channels to watch from 3:My kitchen counter at the room was cramped up little space provided for the room 4:The body bliss spa was bad service,I followed all the necessary steps needed for my family and I to secure a spot ,never got any response or feedback from them

Heel erg gehorig. Slechte informatie over busje die je naar suncity brengt. In de bus hoor je pas dat je contant entree moest betalen. Je wordt er afgezet en veel onduidelijkheid hoe laat je weer terugkomt. Is dus niet ieder uur!

Nice lodge in a great location for visiting Pilanesberg National Park. We enjoyed the safari with LEAP Adventures and booked it the same morning.

This was our third visit, and I have to be honest: each stay has been more disappointing than the previous one. Unfortunately, this will be the last time our family chooses to spend a holiday here. During our first visit in February 2025, our experience was still positive. The old restaurant offered excellent pizzas and a good à la carte menu. Sadly, the quality of the food has declined significantly since then, and our subsequent experiences have been disappointing. In October 2025, the restaurant was being renovated and guests had to use the café for dinner instead. The atmosphere there was not pleasant at all, and the buffet was very disappointing in terms of both the selection and quality of the food. During our current visit in September 2026, with the newly renovated restaurant finally open, we were told that the only option available was the buffet package and that there was no alternative. I find this completely unacceptable, especially for guests staying at the property. This is not what I would expect in terms of quality, flexibility, or customer service. I also have to mention that the staff at check-in were neither friendly nor motivated. Instead, they came across as rather dismissive and passive, which unfortunately created a negative first impression of our stay.

They have everything inside their property, you don’t have to go out everyday for activities or fun. Their activities carter for both kids and adults, they have something to keep the little once busy as well as the adults.

Loved everything. There were a lot of activities we could choose from. Really enjoyed my stay there.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, the only thing I would say that in the winter months there should be more than one pool heated - especially the splash zone for the kids. The water in the splash zone was absolutely freezing so unfortunately we could not use it so the kids were upset at that. Other than that, everything was amazing.

Location and facilities. The sound of a roaring lion from the nearby game reserve during the night was soo pacifying.

Check in process was a bit long, disrupted water supply on the day of checking out, but it was swiftly addressed.

The food prices, breakfast and dinner baffet are overpriced💀💀maybe if individual plates and menu were available on request then we pay for that specific place. The meat wasn’t well done, the pork and lamb chops. Otherwise, everything was great!

Nie ma chyba takiej rzeczy, byłem też w hotelu w sun city i kingdom okazał się być o wiele lepszy a przy tym tańszy.

The place is beautiful, there's a couple of activities one can do in it.

It took quite some time before our room was cleaned, I even had to ask one of the cleaners to come and assist, luckily she dropped what she was doing and came to clean ours. Another thing, even after following all the instructions on the safe, it still didn't unlock. Luckily, we were just testing it at the time and didn't put anything in it.

Staff weren't friendly, especially at reception, and service must be improved - non-responsive, slow, unhelpful No a la carte restuarant during the week Need to ask everyday for dishwasher pods, dishwashing liquid and to return bowls etc. No kid's play park, with jungle gym etc. Onsite shop is poorly stocked, lacks necessities. Other timeshare resorts have milk, meat, etc. Beautiful boma, but no events at the boma - When we enquired we were told we don't need to book, but were then told the boma evening was cancelled because there weren't enough bookings At the spa the service was friendly, but when we enquired about specials we were told the packages on the pamphlet were the only specials, only to find out later there was a Woman's Day Special which we were never told about The showers in all our rooms needed attention, either the shower heads were blocked, or the showers leaked, filling the rooms with water - No maintenance, despite requesting them to look into it

The room was too small. Water was coming out from the bottom of the shower door. Receptionist was not more informative about your facilities and was also not informed about ironing equipment until I called reception. We were also not informed about the intercom in the bedroom/rather which channels to use should we need to contact reception. The buffet was also not nice.

I’m really not happy by the service provided by the staff so it’s hard to answer this part

The staff were terrible - Johanna, Hendrik and the manager on duty on the 29th of August 2026. The facilities are great but the staff need training around customer service, being reasonable and maximising revenue. It’s a shame because it’s a nice place. Disappointed.

Aluguei uma cabana com cozinha completa, portanto, sem refeições incluidas. A cozinha muito bem equipada, Fizemos um lindo café da manhã, e refeições na varanda do apartamento. Há um excelente mercado e opções de fastfood a cerca de 5 km do hotel.

Havia solicitado ao hotel a antecedência da marcação dos game drives e informaram que poderia ser feito no hotel na hora, porem não informaram que fechava à tardinha o escritório. Assim, não conseguimos um game drive para a manhã seguinte, somente para a tarde, considerando que pela manhã a probabilidade de encontrar os Big Fives é maior. Pelo menos tivemos a sorte de ver 4 deles, são não vendo o leoopardo, mas vimos um familia inteira de leão.

That it’s a little over priced.

Good room

Upon arriving at reception, we were embarrassed by the receptionist who said our stay wasn't paid for, a horrible situation. It seemed like we were trying to use the room without paying, the first time this has happened to me on the Booking.com platform in years of using it. Even though I don't speak English and understood a little of what she was saying, I showed her the payment confirmation on the Booking.com app and the printed receipt, and even then they refused to give us the room key. She then called a young man and explained that she couldn't find our payment confirmation. He told us we could go to the room and they would check. Even after he said this, the receptionist still wanted to charge me again for the stay I had already paid for, and said that if they found our payment they would refund the amount. I said I wasn't going to pay anything more because I had already paid and shown all the receipts. She said: "Okay, you can go to the room, we'll sort it out tomorrow," and gave us the key. We stayed for four days, and nobody came to say anything, much less even apologize for the terrible inconvenience we went through.

Das breite Angebot für Familien, teilweise beheizte Pools, gepflegte, saubere Anlage. Allerdings exklusiv für Selbstversorger. Was aber nicht ein Nachteil ist. Zumal ja die Zimmer zu diesem Zweck sehr gut ausgestattet sind!

Etwas zu rigide Check In Prozedur. Zu kleine Couch als Schlafplätze für Kindern (gerade in unserem s.g. Familienzimmer!). Da könnte man was besseres anbieten. Es war einfach unbequem dort zu schlaffen.

Excellent facilities. Really superior comfortable suite perfect for a family of 4. There was one heated pool open for families. We stayed her to visit Pilanesburg and honestly I would take that money and go to Kruger instead. It is soo expensive and very very hard to spot wildlife. The paid activities are quite reasonable

The staff could be a bit more positive and I guess it was full all the time so they were tired. A word of caution, lots of gravel and loose stone on the way there so be careful of windscreens.

We loved that it is such a kids friendly resort with so many inclusive activities throughout the day!

It's a beautiful place. It felt like a home away from home.

I did not like that we have the option for early check in but when requested it's declined. I was in the area to attend an awards function at the Superbowl. After a long drive I wanted to rest first before going for the redcarpet at 4pm. So check in at 3 meant to just check in and refresh and leave. I think even if they asked for extra payment I would have paid but I found out after reception told me they didn't see any request (to not even see that I had requested it just declined would have been nice). Also because there are no phones in the rooms you have to use your own phone and dial a call center to request a iron. Reception tells you to come to the reception with R200 cash (refundable when you bring it back). I think the hotel could do better.. At least use the card machine, send someone to the room with a card machine to hold the R200 then refund on return.

The beds were creaky and the neighbour was loud so we didn’t have a good nights sleep

Im Restaurant gab es nur Buffet und das war für Südafrika etwas zu teuer. Vor allem zum Frühstück. Die Wände zwischen den Zimmern sind so dünn das man jede Unterhaltung von Nachbarn mithören kann. Das ist besonders ärgerlich wenn die Nachbarn bis in die Nacht laut sind.

The courtesy of the Chef 10/10, he was friendly explained everything that he cooked thoroughly his dinner was nice the custard was a 10/10. The staff at Acacia their service is 10/10 wish they could employ some to the reception area as people working at the reception seem tired. The place has a heated pool and daily activity programme 👌

Room 74B the WIFI didn't work throughout the stay, we reported it but it was never fixed. The facility has limited activities unlike Suncity. Breakfast wasn't that great, it's just basic English breakfast.

I booked for a 2 bedroom chalet , and when i got there i was given 2 separate "bachelor" like apartments, the problem with that is i was travelling with with my 2 kids hence i wanted 2 bedrooms in a chalet. That was not good .
