THE LODGE

My stay was outstanding. Sachi is an amazing host, always happy to help and solve any issue with a smile. His family is so nice as well, even inviting me and some friends to a really nice local meal one day. He also has fiver internet, the best I've found in the island so far.

This is a great place, with the nicest, kindest, most wonderful people. I was often treated to food, which was very tasty and most importantly authentic. They helped me with renting a bike. They helped me with excursions. Any questions were resolved very quickly. The location is good, it is quiet and close to the beaches, the closest is the coconut palm hill, just 5 minutes walk. If you want to live in silence, among the local color and get to know how people live here, then this is definitely for you! The level of privacy of the housing is quite high, no one will bother you. Your own, fully equipped kitchen will allow you to save on food. There is a blender to make your own fruit shakes, there is a toaster in which you can make toasts from bread bought from tuk-tuk bakers. There is a comfortable table at which I comfortably worked for a month on my laptop. The most important thing in trips is people and new acquaintances. And the people who own this place are simply wonderful. At the end they gave me a T-shirt with my name printed on it!

The cutest house near the kindest family in a calmness’ garden. This is the place for the ones who seek refugee from the noisy beach and want to seek in Mirissa’s village reality, in an endless birds song. A comfortable place with every service you need at home. The Lodge family treated us as one more, even inviting us to some delicious and spicy ☺️ sri lankan dishes 🙏🏼🤍🪷
