I really enjoyed staying here as the room is very comfortable and clean. As is the adjoined bathroom. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. A big plus is the size of the room!!

Extend my stay from 1 night to 3 nights. Tranquil local residents area, no tourists. They arranged good safari with competitive price.

The lady caretaker is very helpful. Welcome drinks. Room is spotless & spacious. Nice garden to lounge, directly facing the river (with crocs sometimes). Neighbourhood is very authentic local. I didnt see any other foreign tourists durinf my stay. Booked a safari thru them with a very competitive price, and our driver & jeep were good, we managed to see leopards thrice!

The ceiling fan in the room has no button &/ remote control so it's impossible to do any settings.

Majitel byl velmi milý, vše jsme řešili po zprávách a dokonce nám i dovolili nechat batohy na ubytování až do 14:00 v den checkoutu. Velké postele, teplá voda.

Na pokoji byla klimatizace, ale ovladač k ní vam prodají za 1500LKR, což je víc jak polovina ceny za pokoj. Měli jsme tam jen 6 hodinovou noc, protože jsme přijeli pozdě, a brzy ráno vstavali, tak jsme ji nevzali, ale ten den bylo v 35 stupňů a v pokoji šíleně. Naštěstí tam byl větrák, který udělal noc snesitelnou.

It was big, well maintained, with a garden and a lot of outdoor space, in a quiet road. Staff was kind, available to meet every demands and they would help me with everything. I asked advice about what bus I needed to take to go to weligama, the boy took me to the bus stand with the motorbike and waited for me there until my bus arrived! They were amazing. Also they organize a really good safari to yala park. The price is really honest and guide is amazing. Thank you for making my stay so beautiful

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was very clean and well maintained, definitely worth more than the price we paid. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. They also offer BYOB if you’d like food, and the Friday BBQ nights are such a fun touch! Overall, it was excellent value for money, and we would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area. Highly recommended!

¿Sabes de esos sitios que los escoges por el precio y luego te sorprenden? Pues este ha sido todo una sorpresa. Barbacoa disponible, agua caliente, wifi, ventilador y aire acondicionado. Pero la amabilidad del personal lo hace inmejorable. Son atentos y amables. ¡Vale la pena!👍🏼

El chico de recepción no hablaba mucho inglés, pero era muy simpático

Es war alles sauber und wir fanden die Ausstattung sehr schick. Die Gastgeber*innen waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und obwohl wir nur für eine Nacht gebucht hatten, durften wir über die Check-out Zeiten noch vier Stunden länger im Zimmer bleiben (wir hatten eine Safaritour gemacht und hatten noch Schlaf nachholen müssen). Das war definitiv nicht selbstverständlich! Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist top!

Wir hatten ein wirklich großes Bett, was für zwei Personen sehr viel Platz bietet. Die Toilette und Dusche war sehr modern.

Als wir ankamen während der Check-in Zeit, war an der Anmeldung keiner. Wir wurden von einem Mitarbeiter eingecheckt, der gerade die Zimmer gereinigt hat. Dabei hat er leider vergessen uns eine Decke zu geben. Der Ventilator im Zimmer ist so laut, dass man ihn nachts ausmachen muss um schlafen zu können. Leider hat das Zimmer zwar eine Klimaanlage, aber die Fernbedienung bekommt man nur gegen Aufpreis (nochmal genau soviel wie das Zimmer ansich). Obwohl in booking eigentlich eine Klimaanlage vermerkt ist. Das Waschbecken im Bad hatte unten ein Leck, weshalb das benutzte Wasser immer auf den Boden gelaufen ist. Nach unserer 1. Nacht, war leider jemand in unserem Zimmer und hat unsere Sachen durchsucht und im Zimmer verteilt liegen gelassen. Daher checkten wir schon nach der ersten Nacht wieder aus, obwohl wir eigentlich noch eine weitere bleiben wollten. Bei der Beschwerde an den Chef, dass eine Person in unserem Zimmer war, haben wir nur ein "Okay" erhalten. Trotz der Probleme sollten wir ursprünglich mehr bezahlen als bei booking angegebenen. Nach kurzer Diskussion erhielten wir einen kleinen Rabatt, haben aber dennoch für eine Nacht mehr bezahlt als angegeben. Bitte sucht euch was anderes!

Property was amazing,Specially the staff, they were very helpful, accommodating,and a very good customer service. It has become my favorite spot now. So next time I come to Sri Lanka I’ll be staying here for sure.

Some of our our rooms having couple of issues like lights not working properly, fans making huge noises, plumbing leaks and pressure of some showers etc. when those issues are address quickly it will be a very good place to stay.

On the first day, we had an issue with the water supply to our bathroom, but within half an hour, they fixed the issue.

We liked it there. the staff was excellent and very helpful. Even they help us with getting to the bus stop and showed us which bus we have to take to go to another city , and when we were wanted to go to cafe to eat dinner but we were afraid of dogs in the dark they drive us to the cafe. Soo I recommend staying there we really enjoyed our stay there and when we will come back to Sri Lanka we will for sure stay with them ❤️❤️❤️

Property doesn't have kitchen. They do take order and order food online but sometimes it could take a really long time to get food.

I loved my stay here! I arrived hot and sweaty and they immediately served me a complimentary juice and cold water which was much appreciated. Upon leaving, the owner kindly drove me to the bus station and even waited for the bus to come to make sure I got on the right bus. The room was amazing for the price too! Very value for money - would definitely recommend.

The place was great, peaceful and clean in a very nice surrounding near the river. You can walk by easily to some shops, restaurants, and temples . Lac Tissa is quite at a walkable distance. The owner was so nice with me ! He drove me to the lake with his scoter and shown me around his childhood playground and secret spots ! The country side is absolutely beautiful ! Plus : ask him to taste the curd !!

Destination was fine, close enough to Yala national park.

Everything was dirty, bathroom, wet towels, bed sheets, pillow cases.. We asked for new towels, blankets and pillow cases and we got even worse ones. Bathroom seemed like someone used it just before we came. Owner had “party” with friends beside our room is it wasn’t possible to sleep.

Nice outdoor seating with hammock, amazing nightsky in the night!! Comfortable room with AC and hot water👍
