Superbe emplacement , très belle chambre décorée avec un style balinais . Gros matelas très confortable. Calme et silence . Piscine face au lac et donc au lever du soleil.bon petit déjeuner . Endroit reposant

Nombreuses mouches à l’extérieur, mais c’est un inconvénient commun à tous les hébergements au bord du lac . Ne dégrade pas la note globale.

Le personnel très agréable et serviable. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Il manquait juste ma tv.

La literie de la chambre est top. Lit très large. Le départ pour le mont Batur se fait depuis l hôtel donc le mieux est d'arriver la veille et d'enchaîner le lendemain matin vers 3.30am. La piscine est très bien également. Il faut le savoir, il y a des mouches et ce n'est pas propre à l hôtel mais à la région. Elles ne sont pas là le matin (post mont Batur) ni en fin de journée.

Seul petit bémol, on est assez loin de tout. Heureusement il y avait un resto de disponible à 5min à pieds pour notre dîner.

The property was well kept and very clean, beautiful views and on the mountain. What I really appreciated was the care and attentiveness of the staff, they made sure I had everything I needed and gave me a lift to local supermarket for any snacks before my hike in the morning. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough!

I have a very good overall impression. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive—they kept checking on us and showed genuine interest in what we were doing and where we had been, especially since we went on a full-day trip to Mount Batur. They served us breakfast, which was good, along with coffee. Nice facilities!

The main downside is the flies—something really needs to be done about that, as they don’t let you relax by the pool or fully enjoy the view, and you end up staying in the room. Also, the rooms could be better equipped with basic amenities like soap and shampoo, as it’s not easy to access nearby shops. The villa is also quite difficult to reach.

Great view. Aditya was the only member of staff (we were the only guests) and he was absolutely delightful. He was also our guide for the sunrise trek and is highly recommended. He was thoughtful and took us to great photo spots away from the crowds and he takes excellent photos and videos. Also recommend going to Cinze hot spring at sunset/dusk. No flies, and we had it to ourselves!

Flies were full on, as they are all around the area. But go away at sunset and tend not to be in your face so not as annoying as Australian flies.

Great view, friendly staff, offered a guide for mount batur walk and he was great, spoke good English and knew the area very well.

Éloigné de tout : la route pour atteindre l hôtel est très mauvaise et très en pente. Perso je ne tenterai ni en scooter ni en conduisant la voiture. L hôtel est quasi au bout de la route. Minimum 10 minutes pour arriver en bas en voiture. Et ensuite encore un peu de route pour trouver un resto ou warning. Et…. des mouches. Beaucoup de mouches ! Ils mettent une 20 aine de pastilles dans la chambre pour les tuer mais du coup très forte odeur de produit chimique. On a préféré les retirer.

Location right at the start of the hike to Mount Batur, so great for a hike. Breakfast is very good. The owner is also very friendly. The villas are quite new and have a great lake view. You can also order lunch and dinner from the owner, if you don’t want to walk down to the village.

The location is a bit remote on top of a hill, therefore you have a great view but also need to walk 20-30 mins up or down to the village. For sportive people or if you have a scooter it’s no big issue though.

Ontzettend lekker geslapen hier, mooi uitzicht, aardig personeel dat ze met je wakker worden voor een kop koffie of thee als je de hike gaat doen. Mooi kamer en lekker ontbijt.

De prijs van de hike is veels te hoog, als ze het voor je regelen, aangezien ik geen zin had om wat te vergelijken hierdoor wel veels te veel betaald. Zelfde prijs had ik de hike kunnen doen, maar dan werd ik vanaf Ubud daarheen gebracht (uur met een auto). De weg naar de stay kan lastig zijn voor beginnende/onzekere bestuurders, neem aan dat hier in de toekomst wel wat aan gedaan gaat worden.

Die Unterkunft hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf den See, außerdem konnte man von da direkt mit der Tour auf den Mount Batur starten. Das Frühstück war ganz gut.

Das Zimmer war leider wenig ansprechend aufgrund der fehlenden Dekoration. Das Bad roch etwas muffig und die Dusche war etwas schimmelig. Direkt neben der Unterkunft werden neue Bungalows gebaut, sodass eine Entspannung tagsüber leider nicht möglich war.

The best place to base to hike Mt. Batur. I'd recommend this way and not just a bus day tour from the major areas that leave at 2 am, etc. Just stay here a night. Support local community, and enjoy the area and families. Nyomen - Host , Made - Driver and Putu, my guide were exceptional. The crew are really kind, authentic, and professional for the region, without over tourism feels. It's beautiful to see authenticity is still around. Thank you, team 🙏

We had 2 rooms for 2 each (family) and the host placed us nerby so this was appreciated. the hotel is well placed if you plan to go on the Batur as you will save 1 hour walk starting directly from there (and not from below) rooms were clean, modern and spacefull, bathroom as well. To be noted a swimming pool as under construction, so probably in a few months you will be able to enjoy it after a long climb ! while it is nicely located for the Batur climb, it is a bit far from the center. I had my own car (rented) so this was not an issue, but if you don't have a plan to go outside on the evening you will have to count on the host who are really accomodative and kind.

Tout était super ! Les chambres étaient magnifiques avec une vue sublime sur le lac Batur et la situation était idéale pour monter le mont batur ! Même pas besoin de prendre la voiture le matin pour la randonné, celle-ci est accessible depuis l'hotel ! Le personnel est au petit ssoin et d'une gentillesse rare (mention spécial à Adi qui était notre guide pour la randonnée et qui s'est également occupé de nous à l'hotel). Le repas était délicieux. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

Le personnel était très attentif, l’emplacement est idéal ! Juste à côté de Cinze Villa avec ses piscines magnifiques d’eaux chaudes ! Vous êtes bien haut sur le flanc du volcan donc la randonnée dure moins longtemps ! Du coup moins de montée ! Le patron à plein de contact, j’ai pu recoudre des vêtements avec un tailor et pris un massage balinais extraordinaire directement dans la chambre! Et d’ailleurs les chambres sont immenses !!!

Certains parlent des mouches, mais les mouches c’est toute la région dues aux champs d’oignons, donc non rien à dire Le wifi est un peu faible mais bon à cet endroit c’est un peu normal, et puis l’endroit est magnifique tant mieux moins de Netflix et plus de lecture et de nature

The location is excellent if you want to hike up My Batur. You begin the hike from the very villa. Excellent view from the room, which by the way is spacious and feels brand new. Friendly host and staff that go out of their way to make sure you have what you need.

The food could be improved-it was saltier than my taste. Accessibility to the villa might be an issue because it requires driving up a steep path.

Perfect Stay for Your Mt. Batur Hike! I had an amazing stay at Batur Exsrica – highly recommend it, especially if you’re planning to hike Mt. Batur! The hotel offers a local guide for the sunrise hike, and mine, Wayan, was incredible! We reached the top in time, had fun, and the best part – the hike starts right from your room. No need for crazy early wake-ups – 3:30 AM is enough. Nyoman is an excellent host – so kind and welcoming. As a solo female traveler who doesn’t ride a scooter, I felt very safe and looked after. Nyoman and his team made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Aditt even took me on a small day tour, which I really appreciated! The swimming pool was nearly finished during my stay, but there’s a newly opened hot spring nearby – perfect for relaxing after your hike. If you book a room here, you’re in for a memorable and effortless Mt. Batur experience. I’d definitely come back!

Host was super friendly. Spotless room. Shower amazing, wifi good, breakfast also good and the view is beautiful.

The accommodation is very well located, close to Mount Batur. The hiking trail to the summit starts on the property itself. The hosts are very kind and provided us with all the information we needed for the hike. A special thanks to Nyoman, who even lent appropriate footwear to my husband, as he hadn’t brought his sneakers. The room was clean and had new bed linen. I recommend it.

Nothing negative to say about the accommodation

Everything is new and clean. The owner is friendly and helped me to get a great driver for both days. The first day I arrived late so they cooked me a tasty dinner.

Absolutely loved my stay! The hotel was perfect for a peaceful getaway. It’s located right in the middle of nature, surrounded by beautiful mountains. I was quiet and I enjoyed listening to the silence My room was spacious, clean, and had floor-to-ceiling windows – which was my favorite part! Waking up and seeing the mountains and the lake right from bed was magical. If you’re looking for rest and nature, this is the place to be. I’d definitely come back!

- Great Staff - very helpful, mindful and nice. They were checking on me via text messages to make sure that I am okay. They even let me check in at ridiculous hour - 4.45am - Beautiful location. Sunrise from my bedroom was magnificent. I really enjoyed watching sunrises at the lake Batur from my bed. But it might be difficult to walk there sometimes. My first taxi driver didn’t want to ride up the hill. So O had to walk up the steep hill with my heavy backpack in the middle of the night. Not their fault though! Local taxi drivers did not have that problem. Just something to be aware of. - Big and bright room. The building looks new. Everything is nice and clean. There is a lot of light in the bedroom through the big windows. The bedroom looks like in their pictures. - Breakfast was served always on time. Overall I enjoyed my stay there. I don’t remember when the last time I felt so safe as a female solo traveler. I didn’t even had to lock my doors ! I know I will be back there next year !

The flies were a nuisance in the evening but the expansive views were breathtaking, just plan to watch the sunset from your room or the restaurant.

Clean and comfortable rooms with excellent view for sunrise. The people are really nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. They offered me the Mount Batur hike for 300k, but I didn’t do it because of the weather.

The way up there can be heavy when it’s raining. Would recommend to arrive there with scooter or motorcycle

Little bit hard to find and get to

The hotel was very modern as it has been newly built. The room was huge and had a nice comfy bed as well as a great shower with plenty of hot water. The owner was also great as they made me a nice breakfast every morning, as well as organised my guide for the mountain and my transportation to the ferry port. The location was convenient for me as I wanted to hike up Mount Batur.

There was some construction work going on as they were building a pool. However, the owner let me use the pool at the sister hotel, which was nice.

We loved our stay in the villa. It is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a beautiful view and lots of natural light entering the room whenever we wanted it. Breakfast was delicious and the owner is very professional and friendly. He also helped us calling a taxi. We also went up to Mt Batur with a guide from the villa and she is amazing, super knowledgeable and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing people work there, Tia was exceptionally helpful. It’s a great location for those wanting to hike Mount Batur.

There was nothing to like except view

This is pretty much like home stay. They ask us to eat from there restaurant nearby which was filthy kitchen full of cockroaches If you want breakfast ask them to cook in their own house kitchen

Staff were all very helpful, villas are beautiful inside and the showers are great! The view outside to the river and the mountain is absolutely stunning. We were blown away and wish we stayed longer. Villa organised our hike to Mt Batur, and picked us up to get us to the accommodation. We arrived quite late and still made us dinner then cooked us breakfast the next day before we left. Truly an incredible experience thank you all so much. Highly recommend booking here 🙏🏼

Very nice big comfortable room, calm environment, good aircondition, great view. A good point to start the Mount Batur hike. They even lend me a pair of hiking shoes. You can use the hot spring pool of Green Hill. Later this year they will have a pool of their own. I'm a female solo traveller with a scooter. Mang Adi (member of the staff) was a very good guide up the mountain, he also escorted me to the pool at Green Hill in the dark. All the staff is great, one afernoon Mang Adi drove me downhill with my scooter to visit the lake. The road to the hotel is not completely paved yet, so it was hard for me to drive up and down all the time, but the staff did that for me! The road up is in the same condition for all the other hotels uphill (=away from the main road). The restaurant serves goos food at a descend price. I would definetly book this room again.

Super nice and helpful staff.Room is huge. Great location for chilling and for those planning to hike Mount Batur. It's only 75 minutes to the summit from your room. Sunset was beautiful and just a few people were there. Nice banana pancakes for breakfast.

Road up to the accommodation is not something every taxi driver is willing to ride. We had to walk for 20 mins uphill to get there. But owners can get you a lift or arrange a scooter rent for a good price. Flies were annoying during the day in October so we spent time on the terrace only after the sunset.

We had a great stay at the villa. The bedroom and the bathroom are huge and the breakfast was delicious. The owner also recommended a good guide to us for climbing Mount Batur.

The room was very modern and beautiful. The bed was really comfortable. The staff was super friendly and organised the sunrise trekking for us. Our guide and cook Komang was very thoughtful and helpful. We had a great time here!

If you go to the Batur area this is your PERFECT spot. On the path to Batur (sunset and sunrise), nice rooms, and best service ever. We had a health emergency and in a glimpse they drove us to the Emergency Room and took care of everythng. They are the best!

You have to pay for the water

The bed was really comfortable and all the amentities worked perfectly. This is an excellent acommodation for those who plan to hike Mt Batur as the hiking trail starts almost from the house.

The road, which google maps suggests to the acommodation is very very rocky and horrible. However there is another slightly better road, which the owner of the place can show. Outside of hiking Mt Batur there is nothing to do in the area as the location also is quite far from everything. The construction quality of the house doesnt seem to be too good as birds tried to get in the room through the ceiling nook. We saw one bird looking from the nook while lying in bed.

A fantastic property, ideal for the early morning climb to the top of Mount Batur to see the sunrise. The property is clean and spacious and right at the base of Mount Batur - no need for early morning transport. Nyoman, the host, is super helpful, and answers questions via WhatsApp very quickly. He arranged for transport to and from our accommodation in Sanur as well as for a local guide (Grey) to take us up the volcano. To note, the property is not close to any restaurants or shops as it is literally at the base of Mount Batur.

For us nothing. Please bear in mind the place is a bit up the mountain so the road is not that great at the end and the villa is a bit further away from the village (which was no problem for us).

The location was perfect for before or post Mount Batur hiking. Large sized rooms and bathroom. Plenty of hot water for showers and mini split for comfortable room temperatures. Breakfast was freshed cooked and delicious. Staff were super accommodating with last minute hiking arrangements and transport to and from dinner.
