Wir haben eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft geschlafen und waren mehr als zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet und relativ zentral gelegen. Der Host war Mega nett und hat uns zur Abreise ohne Aufpreis zur Weiterreise an den Busbahnhof gefahren. Echt eine tolle Erfahrung in Dambulla.

I had a really positive stay at Dambulla Kings Inn and would highly recommend it especially for solo travellers. From the moment I arrived Mr. Chaluka and his wife are incredibly kind and attentive. He was always smiling and full of positive energy. My flight arrived very early in the morning after multiple delays and they were more than happy to accommodate me with an early check in which made such a difference after a long journey. Throughout my stay they were always available and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. Anything I asked for was sorted straight away and they were consistently warm welcoming and thoughtful. The area is very peaceful and surrounded by a nice garden. The room is also very clean including the bathroom. Breakfast was always on time and lovely each morning which added to how smooth and easy my stay felt. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here which is something I really value. They created a comfortable environment where I could fully relax. The location is also amazing- close to the key sites such as Sigiriya and Dambulla Cave Temple. They also recommended a tuk tuk driver called Bandara and he was honestly amazing. I highly recommend going on a tour with him. He always said “this is your day today” and truly meant it. He never rushed me and was happy to adapt the day based on what I wanted to do. He waited patiently at each stop and made the whole experience feel easy and special. He genuinely cares about your experience and goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy every moment. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and wants you to have a memorable time rather than just rushing through places. He is kind patient and very trustworthy and I would strongly recommend booking a tour with him if you stay here. He takes you to the best spots and has the best itinerary ideas including cooking class! Highly recommend seeing Dambulla city with him. Very trustworthy man.

Immaculately clean, big space, new bathroom with very good shower. Green, shadowy location, makes it cool even in hot weather. The hosts are very welcomjng and smiley. Very recommended accomodation.

Lovely couple running this hotel. Helped with everything we needed: trips to do, bringing to the massage salon, repairing broken shoes and boiling water so we could make coffee. Good WiFi

Madhu and Chamuka are an incredible family. They helped me with everything, and the house is extremely comfortable and clean. The room has a private bathroom, and the breakfast is excellent. I cannot recommend it enough if you come to Dambulla. On my last day, Chamuka even picked me up and took me to the bus station.

Nuestra experiencia en el alojamiento fue excelente. La habitación estaba impecablemente limpia y la cama resultó muy cómoda, lo que garantizó un buen descanso. La gastronomía fue otro de los puntos fuertes, con platos de gran calidad y sabor. Además, nos facilitaron los desplazamientos, lo que hizo la estancia aún más cómoda. En resumen, un alojamiento altamente recomendable por la calidad del servicio y la hospitalidad recibida.

The experience in the stay was very bad, considering dambulla comes under plains with hell lot of humidity, room does not have ac or not even a single fan. Stay only had single table fan which was not working well with extremely low speed. During the check out time the host did not even allowed to use the washroom, when after requesting they allowed but soon after they started calling and messaging saying " Why you used washroom, we again need to do the cleaning work ", not recommended at all. Utter rubbish experience. Say No to this Stay!

Simple breakfast included, and delicious evening meals available for a reasonable price. Perfectly located away from city and road noise. You feel like you're far in the countryside. One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!

The property is a bit isolated and far from the city, but we knew when we booked. So we didn’t have any bad surprises.

They were always ready to help, even offering rides whenever I needed them. It felt like a little oasis of peace and warmth😊 If you're planning to visit Sigiriya Rock, Cave Rock, or the Golden Temple, this is hands down the best place to stay!!! The location is perfect for sightseeing, but more than that, the atmosphere here is something you won’t find anywhere else. I loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay for two extra days 😂 This hotel didn’t just give me a place to sleep—it made my Sri Lanka trip truly unforgettable. 10/10, highly recommend!!!!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 2 nights and we loved the room, it was really comfortable and clean! The hosts are lovely, always with a friendly attitude with a smile on their faces! On our last night they woke up at 4am to make a tea for us because we wanted to watch the sunrise at pidurangala rock and we are really grateful for their kindness! I can’t complain about anything.

The young couple who owns the homestay is so nice, friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable. Large rooms, warm water shower and the house is surrounded by a very beautiful, peaceful and lovely garden. My best recommendation for other travelers to stay her.

We had an amazing stay at Dambulla Kings Inn. The hosts were so friendly and helped us with everything from recommendations to scooter rental. They also drove us to the bus stop.

I had a good stay. They were very kind and helpful. He took me in his tuk tuk to the bus station and a local attraction. A good shower and a nice room, and at a bargain price.

The host was very attentive and caring, couldn’t do any more for us! The room is one of the biggest we have stayed in in our Sri Lanka trip. Lovely outside seating where the host served us a delicious breakfast. Only a 5 minutes tuk tuk ride from the main Dambulla bus stand.

It was really a pleasure to be here,it was the cleanest and most comfortable stay in our 3 weeks journey on European standards. The young couple is super friendly and helpful. In the evening we enjoyed quite sitting at the terrace in the middle of the jungle. Just don't forget to have mosquito spray.Thank you guys again!

The room was very spacious and clean. The garden was beautiful and very green with lots of trees. Pretty quiet and calm environment. The hosts were a very nice young couple, who live in the upper floor of the house. A few areas to improve may be to have better fans (no air con) because it can get pretty warm some days and maybe have hot water in the shower.

There is another guesthouse in the same premises that looked a bit 'dodgy'. Not sure I'd have felt safe staying there alone because there are many vehicles that come and go to that property.

Beautiful atmosphere. We felt like another home stay. Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the couples.They were extremely friendly. Will visit again.

The family here were amazing, they were so kind and ready to help with everything - even to come find me when I couldn't find the address and reverse out my tuk tuk. The room was big, clean and lovely.

New property with nicely decorated and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. It is in a tranquil lush garden, away from hustle of the town and roads, very close to the cave temple. Excellent hospitality by a nice young couple.

It was harder to find as it is inside another guest house called Badura. Google maps didn’t show it. However, the hosts were responsive to guide us.

Proximity to Dambulla Cave Temple, plus they arranged convenient charging for my electric car. The host's responses are swift and efficient.

Nice stay in homestay 5 mins from Dambulla. Hosts nice and friendly. Spoke some English. Google translate helped. Bed comfortable. Pillows good. Good size room. Bathroom good size, well set out. Wifi was good. No aircon, but good fan. Good size breakfast. Directions to homestay are accurate. Sign on gate is Badjura ( I think) guesthouse. The King's inn is down the driveway. 3 rooms at back .
