Vriendelijk personeel, mooie locatie

We vonden de prijs wat aan de hoge kant voor wat je ervoor kreeg. We wilden een nacht bijboeken met misschien wat korting gezien we de enige gasten waren en het laagseizoen was maar in plaats daarvan konden we bijboeken in ruil voor een privé citytour met bbq voor maar ‘100 dollar’ en dat vonden wij een beetje duur. Ook het eten was vergeleken met onze andere verblijven niet zo geweldig. De kip was heel droog.

Friendly helpful staff (Bandara, Ubepala, Kavishka). Skilful in making delicious meals. Comfortable rooms with A/C.

De vriendelijk van de eigenaar en zijn staff. Mijn vriendin was die dag niet lekker en de eigenaar verzorgde direct vanalles om het zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Zo kregen we een speciaal gemaakte limoenkoffie en een soepje gratis. De tenten én het terrein zijn heel mooi en netjes opgezet bij de ligging aan het meer.

In de nabije omgeving is nagenoeg niets te doen. Wij wisten dit vooraf en dan is dat ook prima. Sochtends bij het opkomen van het zon werd op de naastgelegen legerbasis de "bugle call" gespeeld. Hier werden wij wel wakker van.

Er is een fantastisch vlot op het meer waar je heerlijk kunt dineren en spelletjes doet terwijl de grote variëteit aan vogels hun vissen vangt. De eigenaar heeft ons meegenomen naar een lokale boerderij en we kookten samen op het land van de boer een viscurry. Een super bijzondere ervaring, niet zoals op veel plekken waar het toerisme al maakt dat je achteraan sluit in de rij. De eigenaar vertelt graag over het land en de cultuur en geschiedenis.

It was a nice stop and the venue is super close to the lake so we enjoyed the outdoor. The team made extra effort and gift for our little one birthday. She loved it.

We enjoyed our stay at Nagara Lake. The facilities were good and the staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed all the food on offer, and they were very helpful in helping to organise drivers for us.

This property is a wonderful place for your holiday choice. The tents are magnificent with high quality beds and furniture, hot shower and fridge with tea making facilities. They are large and luxurious. Highly recommend! Food especially good on BBQ night. Staff are very efficient and kind. The safari arranged through resort was outstanding. The ambience at the resort with lake and pool area were really great too. Many thanks to you all.

it's a nice location closing to the small lake, many birds can see around the place, and cool breeze specially in the nighttime, friendly staff make us more comfortable, hope to visit them again,

Brilliant location. Peaceful and therapeutic for your soul. Bird watchers paradise. Sun set was stunning. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed it immensely. The facilities are just right for glamping - It is rustic but very comfortable and clean. The food was super delicious and pricing extremely reasonable. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and the service was excellent. Lovely place to just getaway from it all.

The only improvement I’d suggest is this - the property has a lot of trees that have been planted with much thought and care. It would be nice to know what they are. Maybe a tiny sign at the bottom identifying the tree would be good. Every tree planted has herbal or other benefits. Such a well planned beautiful garden.

Piscine sale et non filtrée, de la vase au fond, odeur. Bruyant la nuit : le manager et le staff ont mis de la musique et parlé très fort jusqu'à 4h du matin à quelques mètres de notre tente. Je leur ai demandé d'arrêter mais cela n'a pas été pris en compte, ce n'est pas ce qu'on recherche quand on va en glamping Problème sur l'addition : les prix du menus (en RS) n'étaient pas ceux à payer ensuite en dollars, et les prix de plats ont changé entre temps, manque de clarté, le serveur comprend mal l'anglais 1 seule formule de petit déjeuner à 12 dollars, abusif par rapport au pays

Cisza, spokój, uśmiech zaangażowanej ekipy. Gospodarz zorganizował nam wieczorny wyjazd, żeby zobaczyć słonie (z sukcesem :), a gdy zepsuło się nasze auto i czekaliśmy na drugie - zabrał nas na rejs po jeziorze, żebyśmy się nie nudzili. Dodatkowo polecam wycieczkę do Bundala National Park: mały, ale za to byliśmy sami i widzieliśmy więcej zwierząt niż w Yala.

Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten, waren 1,5 dagen ter plaatse en het was HEERLIJK!!! Tenten zijn met zorg en stijlvol ingericht… en mét airco. De tuin is prachtig, het zwembad heerlijk en het zicht op het meer is rustgevend. Het eten is lekker! De eigenaar en zijn personeel zijn superlief! De huisbaas nam ons zelf mee nr het naburig gelegen stadje. Echt een aanrader voor wie tot rust wil komen

I really like them all, it was a super location, beautiful landscaping, camps were fantastic, food was delicious and the staff was so friendly.

The land scraping, location and the view was amazing and the camps are huge including comfortable beds, air conditioned, clean attached washroom, tv and a mini fridge

The hospitality was incredible. The owner picked us up from a muddy road nearby due to maps sending us the wrong way. Great start but it doesn’t end there. All if our luggage was brought to the ‘tent’. The next morning we had to get up early for the safari in Yala national park (20-30 minute drive). My girlfriend texted at 6pm that it was my birthday that day. Only 2 hours later he had arranged a birthday cake with candles, a cocktail bar (which he made in those 2 hours), a bbq and ice-cream after. Oh… and he put on a Dutch playlist that he found on youtube. And the craziest thing of this all. It wasn’t even on the bill. He just wanted to make us enjoy the day. We booked 2 more nights and couldn’t wish for more. It’s a beautiful new tent with the perfect grass and a great swimming pool. He was even building a ancient kitchen for traditional Sri Lankan food workshops. If you like the sound of nature you will like this place!

This took me 5 minutes to think of but if i really have to mention something it would be that the shower head is about 1.80 high and im 1.90 tall. But after all it’s a glamping tent so it wasn’t something to bother about.

We stayed here in February, the resort is very new, they opened in December. The tents are very comfortable with air conditioning, a good bed, and other facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This resort was amazing, me and my family loved it. We had a beautiful view of the lake, and saw a wonderful sunset from our tent. The interior of the tent was gorgeous, we loved how cozy it was and it was very neat. Had so much fun here and would love to come again. From New Zealand ❤️😊
