Tidy and good facilities. Very near some handy shops abd restaurants while travelling.

the location appeared to be in a low income housing complex. There were 2 French young men living in the 2 BR apartment, one who slept in the common area living room so we were unable to use any area of the place other than our tiny bedroom with quick trips to the communal, less clean bathroom. We felt uncomfortable using the kitchen as it was part of the living room. The bath towels provided were thin and very scratchy.

Right near Aidan Park bus route to get to the airport. The small washer and heated drying rack made my day.

Not much, did not stay stay, booked elsewhere for the night. Large bed. It is a house, so full communal kitchen for all guests.

Location was dodgy and felt unsafe, especially leaving the car in the carpark area. Bed was too big for room. Travelling internationally, we have a large and small suitcase each. With these in room you could not move. We thought we had booked room with ensuite only to find out day before when extra information got sent that it was the bedroom and separate bathroom. Noisy area.

Forfeited the accommodation. After we finally worked out how to get into the accommodation we opened the door and someone else was sitting in the lounge area. We opened the door to our room, which was supposed to have an ensuite, we discovered the room was so small we couldn't get a suitcase in. we also found out that our ensuite was a bathroom down the corridor. We walked out, put the key back and found alternate accommodation.

The property was advertised as an apartment. It turned out to be one room. The apartment was occupied by a second border who seemed completely unaware of our arrangement with the landlord. Location was difficult to find on GPS. Hard to recommend this location as it was not advertised in Booking.com as a shared unit.

The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen were stocked. Additionally, It was close to a Mace so I was able to buy food I needed.

The door has a problem locking and a few times I couldn't get it to lock. It could be easier than I think but there is clearly a problem. It should be fixed for safety reasons.

Clean, on suite room. Kitchen but no fridge. However, only there for one night. Shops nearby. Comfortable sofa in lounge.

Wi Fi did not work. I tried the password 8 times but not accepted. Could not get any tv channel. Seemed password needed. The boiler was not on so chilly. I managed to find the boiler and got the heating on. A fridge would be useful for longer stay.

It was clean and there was a nice living room to hang out. Also there was a full kitchen to access.

Just convenient for our early morning flight.

Upon arrival having to get the keys from the security box, it was so low down and it was raining so heavy. No instructions to operate or how to put code in,and the following morning it was so wet and dark, couldn't see the panel to put the security code in,so we just popped the keys through the letter box. The position of the key box definitely put us off.

The Cosy Room is one of the bedrooms in an apartment which seem to let out on short term basis. Anthony was very helpful. About a 5 minute drive from Shannon Airport. There is a shared living area & self catering kitchen which along with ensuite bedroom was spotlessly clean & well attended. There were toiletries, clean towels. Ideal for self catering holiday and for visiting the Wild Atlantic Way, Excellent WC and Bathroom facilities. Good range of shops within walking distance. Ample parking was directly outside front door. It is within Shannon Town, from where required destinations are easily reached. Highly recommended. Good value for money considering location.

Breakfast was non-existent. Close to convenience store to buy food for breakfast. Close to Chinese Food Take out for dinner. Awkward being just a room in the apartment that the owner lived in (even though he wasn’t there during my stay). I couldn’t lock the front door, but could lock my room.

Cleanliness was adequate and bed comfortable.

Hard to find (no sign). Lock on doors very hard to lock and unlock, Needed maintenance!! Toilet running too much water!

The check-in process was easy, car park had a lot of free spaces, the bed was comfortable, the price was good and the place was clean.

The shower was not easy to operate, the host lives in the same spaces, so there can be noises, which if you are a light-sleeper like me, can wake you up at 4AM.

Very nice apartment, everything was clean and tidy, clean bed and fresh towels. When I asked for a late checkout, the owner agreed without any questions. I highly recommend this accommodation in Shennon, for this money in Ireland it is very difficult to find good accommodation. Thanks to the owner for the hospitality.

It was a very simple bus ride from the airport, and the bus stop was very close to the Airbnb

For me, it was proximity to the airport

We liked having the extra space that the house provided ( we were the only guests for our stay). Handy shop and Chinese close by.

The overmirror light in the bathroom did not work. The shower head leaked and its height was not adjustable. Bathroom extractor was inadequate.

I was absolutely shocked at the price of the property! It was clean, lovely home, beautiful room and the heat was so welcome after the cold evening we had travelling. The host was amazing and even rang to make sure we had gotten to property.

We were met upon arrival, everything was explained. The room was clean.

I came with my son, maybe it would be good if there were two single blankets. Maybe the bed is not only for couples) It was too hot at night, the radiators were boiling. Even open windows did not help.

We were able to use the whole apartment which was nice, it was very clean and comfortable and a great location. The host was very nice and helpful.

The host Anthony is very nice. The room is en-suite - clean, fresh with all toiletries, clean towels and bed linen. Very quiet with a fantastic location. You can use the living room and the kitchen. Offers tea and coffee. I stayed a couple of times and will be back again.

Everything was fine,

The location was perfect for us (we were attending an event at the Shannon Aviation Museum). The room was spotlessly clean. We didn't meet the proprietor, Anthony, but he was easy to reach by phone/email and was very helpful.

We had hoped for an en-suite bathroom so were a little surprised to find that the bathroom was separate and down the corridor. On re-reading the advertising, I realised that it says "includes private bathroom", so beware that that doesn't mean en-suite. Otherwise everything was fine.

Proximity to Airport couldn't have been better. Clean bathroom and room. Use of kitchen and family room was great.

We had the right address but there is no signage. Its amongst a block of flats/units. There was no coffee/tea facilities provided. The towels provided were still damp. We had to use the owners shampoo & shower gel. Cereal was provided but we had to use the owners open long life milk. We washed the dishes but there wasn't a clean towel to dry them. I dont recommend this property.

a) attemptes where made on numerous occasions to contact the host of Cosy Room when asked to confirm booking as reference was not recognised by Booking.com. We where forced to book elsewhere.and because we thought was a scam l cancelled my credit card but payment had already been issued to Booking.com b) eventually host of Cosy room apologied but refused to refund my payment for accomodation that had been cancelled. c)will be taking this individual to court for losses and damages as a result of breach of contract (not just the cost of the room) d) Would advise others not to book through booking com as the reference number was not recognised. e) and such individuals should not be allowed to operate if they are not complying with the rules. obtaining and retaining monies is both civil and criminal

There were toiletries, clean towels & a welcoming packet of crisps which was a nice touch. Ample parking was directly outside front door. It is within Shannon Town, from where required destinations are easily reached. If an alternative to a hotel is required, then The Cosy Room is ideal.
