Studio apartment near Shannon Airport

Location near Shannon Airport was excellent. Nicely furnished and clean. Judith was extremely responsive and kind.

Very welcoming host! Only a short visit as I was connecting from Scotland to the USA. The place was clean and cosy.

A spacious, comfortable, and private room in a great location, especially if you’re traveling to or from Shannon Airport or visiting Bunratty Castle (via car or bus).

We had a very early flight out of Shannon so this was a perfect location for us.Was less than 10 mins drive to airport in the morning.Very comfortable Studio.We arrived late in the evening and there were scones left for us which was very welcome.Lovely quiet area.Bed was very comfortable.Fabulous shower.I would most definitely stay there again if I waa flying from Shannon Airport.

Nothing to be honest.

Comfortable bed, great location - quiet street, but convenient for the airport - we walked. Took us about 45 minutes in the dark - maybe quicker in daylight as there could be a shortcut that we didn't see. Was an easy 10 minute walk down into the town the next morning. Would stay there again if i was in the area.

Number on the house and gate are quite hard to see in the dark, so we were not sure that we are the correct house

Location on a hillside somewhat cumbersome for an elderly couple to walk to.

Very clean. Host left scones/jam etc. Plenty of hot water fir shower.

When we opened the door to enter there was a very musty smell. While it dissapated somewhat we definitely could tell it was lingering. There was no heat that we could detect. The host indicated if needed to be adjusted contact her. She never responded to a message we sent day prior to check in so we doubted she would responded at 11pm. Due to lack of heat on a cold night caused low rating.

Great location to the airport. Comfortable bed and apartment was easy to find. Close to restaurants.

Comfortable, really attractive, very well equipped. Hosts are kind and helpful. I’d highly recommend.

Świetna lokalizacja. Doskonałe miejsce, by zatrzymać się przed dalszą podróżą. Dobrze skomunikowane. Ładnie urządzony pokój, czysto i przestrzennie. Dodatkowym atutem są domowe scones, które umiliły nam deszczowy poranek.

Clean and cozy

Lovely experience. Was accommodated in every way possible, with kindness and care. Felt comfortable, safe, and taken care of. Had everything I needed to be well and get some good rest in after a stressful travel. My host even brought over a paperclip for me so I could get my sim card switched over, and offered me a ride while it was raining. Very nice location; quick walk to the lovely little Shannon library, where I had a grand few hours reading about Irish history. Thank you!

The only thing, and I mean, the ONLY thing, was that a giant, and I mean, pretty freaking huge) spider that came out to say hello whilst I was showering. I was able to defend myself with your wonderful shower spray hose, so all is well.

Nice quality place. Shower worked well. Homemade scones were a nice touch. Definitely recommend this place.

Parking is not ideal.

Quiet neighbourhood and bed was comfortable to sleep in. They also allowed us to check out an hour later than stated.

Unfortunately they had work going on in the garden that started at 7.30am in the morning on both days we were there.

Convenient location

Location perfect for a stop over and rest before continuing South to Portmagee. An added touch was homemade scones upon arrival and at this point we were tired and hungry, perfect timing!

It worked out great, no issues!!!

Nice apartment, roomy, comfortable, nicely decorated also very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to the airport. (10 mins away) Great when you’re on a very early morning flight!

Sweet Scandinavian design studio apt. Cozy & comfortable,well supplied. Close to Airport. Separate entrance, which suited us as our flight was very early.

No criticisms. There was a small painting in kitchen area of aquarium with a white & a gold goldfish. Specifically caught my eye, as I have a 20 gal.tank with a white & a gold goldfish. 😃

Nicely decorated and clean place, close to the airport (we walked from there). A lot of amneties and quite a few things for breakfast (home-made scones, jam, butter, milk, cereals). The communication with the host was very efficient and we had a lot of privacy. Everything was fine, highly recommended!

Parking on the narrow road. Finding the place in the dark was difficult. The house # 8 should be displayed so visible from the road.

We arrived and the keys were easily accessed from the lock box by the door. The apartment was nicely sized with a kitchenette, couch, comfortable queen bed, and nice sized bathroom with a great shower. We met Judith on the second day after sightseeing and talked with her a bit, very nice lady. We mentioned the sugar packets for the coffee maker had run out and she went straight up and bought sugar down for us. The Shannon airport is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the apartment, so very handy.

This studio apartment is close to Shannon airport, and the owner is delightful. Having been diverted from LHR, we booked a night at this property. When Judith discovered we were there inadvertently, she kindly offered to collect us from the airport. There were scones and jam, which is a lovely gesture, and the shower is excellent. We told Judith we were going to Durty Nellie’s, a famous pub near by, and she went out of her way to drop us off there as it was raining. So helpful, we were really grateful. She couldn’t have been more welcoming. Thank you Judith, you’re the best!

The Studio apartment near Shannon Airport is a fantastic spot to use as a homebase while exploring the westside of Ireland. Judith was very accommodating and helpful with any questions that I had during my stay. It is a short walk to some shopping and restaurants. With that said, I would recommend having your own transportation; however, I am not sure that its entirely necessary.

Myself and a friend stayed here great location so close to the airport. it was so lovely. The bed was so comfy and loved the shower. Beautiful stay would recommend 😍

Very comfortable self contained apartment. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed and a small kitchen with everything we needed. The host was lovely and gave us access to use the washer and drier to do our laundry

No negatives, we had a great stay

The apartment was perfect for what we needed for a 2 night stay. 2 Croissants, butter / jam and fresh milk in the fridge was appreciated, the cupboards also have the basics of tea/ coffee/ sugar/ etc. The apartment is close enough to walk to / from the airport 40 mins (we just had rucksacks for a weekend stay), but decided to get a taxi at the airport as we arrived after midnight, taxi from the airport was 15 EUR and 5 mins drive.The owners are very communicative and also very helpful if needed, they offered us to stay longer on the day of leaving as we had a storm outside which really helped us out, thank you it was appreciated 👍

Everything we needed and close to the airport !

Superb studio! Cute, comfortable, clean studio that was close to the airport. There was a special treat of homemade scones upon arrival😊

Everything was perfect. The hosts were nice. The host was very kind and turned on heating so we could dry our clothes which got soaked because of the rain. The beds were very comfortable and we slept incredibly well. There were all amenities one could need.

The 3C’s clean, comfortable & convenient location. Fruit scones on arrival & additional toiletries were an added bonus.

Property was lovely, very clean and well set out. Owners are very nice and location is perfect for touring the area.

Super close to the airport. Great water pressure and temperature in the shower. Had all the basic amenities one would need.

Unfortunately, the TV didn’t work/wouldn’t load. The bed was a bit firmer than we prefer.

I was blown away by the quality of the furnishings and general decor. The bathroom was well stocked with everything you could need, and beautiful too. The fresh scones were a welcome breakfast. Thank you for making my sadly short stay, so luxurious.

The hostess was lovely, the place was very clean and welcoming, the homemade scones and milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious and the bed comfortable enough. Although we didn't use them, the cupboard was packed with tea, coffee and cereal for breakfasts etc, that was a nice touch too.

We were very fortunate with the good weather, we ate outside, a little table there would have been nice. Inside, the big wardrobe was just taking up space, as we were there for two days we lived out of the suitcases, somewhere to put them other than the one sofa in the room would have been good. Also a little table and two chairs so we could eat together if the weather had been poor would have been great. We weren't too keen on the adjoining door inside, we felt we had to be very quiet as we could hear the owners in their own dwelling. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay and enjoyed it.

Very homely room with good facilities.Quick response to our request for some heat in the rooms.

I had difficulty finding the place but that probably says more about the navigator than the directions given!
