The staff was friendly and helpfull and close proximity to ZAH. The bed was comfortable.

Don't get fooled by the pictures, not at all 4 stars. There was chewing gum stuck to the bedside table, the chair was broken and the upholstery torn. The furniture and curtains has seen better days. I do understand its a old property, but I think its totally overpriced for what you get. It did not feel clean at all. The kitchenette was a disgrace!! Would rate the room I stayed in 1 star. The only thing going for it is the close proximity to ZAH. I stayed one night and checked in somewhere else for the rest of the time.

So many things to like at Waterhouse. The rooms are spacious. The kitchenette has everything you need, even the rusks get topped up every day. The beds are very comfortable. You even have access to an iron and ironing board in every room. The friendly cat is just a pleasure to have around. The staff is helpful and the manager Chantelle is such a warm and welcoming person and so helpful, I have been and will keep on returning to this guesthouse. The parking space is also big and spacious enough.

I liked everything accept for the channels on Dstv, which was limited. I also didn’t understand the billing. I’m used to book a room at other guesthouses. By making one payment but at Guesthouse they charge R850 per person.

It was a beautiful and peaceful setting.

I think the parking spaces can be better managed. Parking should be close to the units. Due to my late arrival, I had a very long walk to the family unit which was on the other of the property. suggestion- demarcated parking.

Het is een veilige buurt en je auto staat achter een hek. We wilden eerder inchecken en dat kon gelukkig waardoor onze dochter gelijk daar haar middagdut kon doen. Het was een kleine kamer, maar wel cosy.

I love it all

It's quiet,private, spacious. Feels like your home in 2 rooms. Friendly staff, my son liked Thabie the most. It really feels like home away from home. Oh! And the garden, refreshing!

Bathroom needs a bit of lighter touch, the black look is not for everyone. Don't fit the family room. Would like a small dining table for laptop/food prep use and basin is not easy to use due to where its located.

The property was a pleasant place to be in. The rooms were clean, spacious, had all the basic amenities, and was comfortable.

The bathroom had a bathtub but no shower. But the host was kind enough to let us use the shower in the vacant room next to ours.

Will always go back.. Excellent service...beautiful room and so peaceful.

This place was aamazing. Its beautiful. Rusks, sherry, chocolate. It was like staying in a honeymoon suite. My family loved it here. Will recommend this to everyone.

Chantelle and the staff are phenomenal. I arranged with them prior to my arrival if I could have groceries delivered for my stay. When I arrived it was all placed neatly in the fridge. There is an electric blanket on the bed which I appreciate a lot as Pretoria can get quite cold. There is enough plug points. It was great to have a microwave and fridge. Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was strong. There is a cat that is so affectionate. He visited me every morning and every evening. Fantastic value for money. Breakfast was good with slight changes every day which I appreciated. Maybe add some items like muffins to the breakfast.

The description of this family room was incorrect. It states that it has a bath and shower however it only has a bath. It also states there is a toaster in the kitchen but there wasn't. Also no kitchen sink in this specific room. Looking at the images of the other rooms, it appears that they do have sinks. Would have liked some items to clean kitchen area like a cloth and soap. Please also consider a full length mirror for the room for outfit checks. There is a bee hive next to the room which I dont mind at all but the poor bees kept on flying into my room and then struggled to find their way out again.

The staff were so helpful and the service was excellent The garden is so tranquil we would highly recommend it.

Waterhouse Guest Lodge has a beautiful old-world charm with an authentic, homely feel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the simple luxury of an electric blanket made my stay extra cozy. A peaceful and welcoming place I’d happily return to!
