It is not beachfront as mentioned. They didn’t provide proper Wi-Fi and cupboards. They never mentioned about the bunker beds in the description. All false information and pictures to attract customers

לא היה טלויזיה בחדר על אף שצויין היה קומקום בחדרים אבל לא היה קפה/תה לא תמיד היה מים חמים

Beach front location, neat and tidy rooms. Helpful staff only during the DAY!

No staff at night. They close everything including reception after 10pm. We had no access to get water at night which made the stay awful! We walked to the restaurant but only main gate security was there and he told us “no staff”!!!

Close to city and excellent service

Spacious, modern and incredibly clean. The staff are all so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are spacious, clean and smell wonderful! Property is right across from the bay, making it super easy to get out and enjoy the surf. The pool is also brilliant, plenty of sun loungers as well.

The breakfast was the best I had in entire Sri Lanka

Less staff makes the overall process slow and inconvenient for the guests.

The place felt like it was in the middle of a exotic forest, quite spacious and with warm and kind staff. The placement was the best, so many resturants nearby and the surfing camps right infront which means less than 2 mins walk to the beach. Alot of tuktuks right infront so doesnt take much time to find one. Even though we came before the check in we got our room ready. They made sure to always attain our requests whenever they occurred and was helpful whenever needed. The room were quite big and had everything you needed for a week. It had fridge, towels, amenities and also hairdryer on request.

- It was our first time to weligama, so i wished they could have informed about the ongoing problems regarding local tuktuks, especially when they knew we were tourists. - it was a great selection of three breakfast sets consisting of choice of meal, fresh juice and fresh fruits. They also served fresh bread and butter aside the sets. However, the portions are a bit small (even though I added extra sausages to my breakfast set). - I got a spam mail (from booking) regarding this stay, so just be careful

The hotel was great. It had a spa feeling to it. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location is great as you're on the beach front.

The 'pick me' app for hiring tuk tuks, cars and bikes does not work well on this road. I had to walk to the nearest side street and to the street behind the hotel to be collected due to the 'tuk tuk cartel.' This is not the hotels fault but it is a bit inconvenient. It was difficult to order a car to collect us when moving to the next location. If you have the cash to hire a driver on the street then this won't affect you.

It was nicely located in front of the beach and you just have to cross the road take a surf lesson or for a stroll in the beach. The room was spacious.

We had a good stay at the hotel. We liked the room, and we also enjoyed the pool, although it should be cleaned more frequently as the water was quite cloudy. However, the main issue for us was the attitude of the staff. Before our arrival, I requested a late check-out, and I was told that it would be considered positively. But after staying for four days, when we asked again, we were not given even one extra hour. We ended up having to negotiate for it, which was very disappointing. This was the part we didn’t like — the staff’s attitude towards guests was not up to expectations.

The property was in an ideal location and was extremely clean. We stayed with two young children and would stay here again. Highly recommend getting a massage while you are there. Staff were also super!

There’s nowhere to rinse your feet from the beach so you bring sand into your room They don’t clean your room, so it builds up. Se were there for a week. I would have liked a brush / small brush and pan to do a daily sweep. I did ask for a brush so they sent someone to brush the floor after a few days. Building work next door.

Great pool, great staff, great restaurant, great position.

The bed was very uncomfortable and broken bits of feature cravings coming loose and falling out, air conditioning struggled to keep room cool.

The staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is really great. The rooms are comfy and the pool area is terrific. Also it’s right across the street from the beach and easy walking distance to all kinds of activities

Отель чистый, сделан косметический ремонт, есть своя территория, бассейн и лежаки. Отель располагается на первой линии, но немного удаленно от дороги, благодаря чему не слышно шума. Отель имеет свой ресторан. Обязательно берите завтраки, они шикарные!

Верхние окна грязные, из за этого теряется вид с высокой кровати! Также постельное белье на подушках имело не свежий запах, как будто кто-то спал на них. Плохая вентиляция в ванной, всегда сыро.

L’accueil, avec une demande de paiement dès l’arrivée. le prix de la chambre sans petit dejeuner, le fan ne fonctionnait pas, pas d’eau chaude, pas de wifi ds la chambre.

Perfetta posizione proprio davanti a alla spiaggia, la camera aveva il balcone che dava sul mare Staff super gentile, sorridente e subito disponibile a aiutarci per qualcosa cosa. Chiara comunicazione tramite chat Whatsapp. Possibilità di fare yoga la mattina sul rooftop, massaggi in loco (consigliatissimo!)

צוות שירותי נהדר. בריכה נחמדה. מסעדה טובה רק קצת יקרה. מיקום טוב מול החוף על הכביש הראשי ליד כל האקשיין. מרחק הליכה מתחנת הרכבת. מומלץ!

Hyggeligt hotel placeret 50 m fra stranden og tæt på gode restauranter. Hotellets pool er super fin og er et godt supplement til havet.

W samym sercu Weligamy, na przeciwko szkoły surfingu i plaża. Blisko do knajp. Czyste pokoje. Uczynny i uprzejmy personel. Basen z idealną temperaturą.

Przyhotelowa restauracja. Odradzamy. Dziewczyna poprosiła o sałatkę bez mięsa z dodatkowym avocado, bo nie je mięsa. Dostała samą posiekaną sałatę z jedną truskawką pokrojoną w bardzo cienkie plastry. To było jak obraza, zwłaszcza że policzyli tę "salatkę" ok. 3000LKR. Nie było Avocado, ani jakichkolwiek innych warzyw. Ja zamówiłem zestaw śniadaniowy z kawą w cenie. Finalnie dostałem samą kawę, policzoną za pełną cenę kawy z menu, ale zapomnieli o śniadaniu. Czekaliśmy godzinę, jak zapytałem co ze śniadaniem spytali a jakie bym chciał. Za napoje i "sałatkę" z samej sałaty zapłaciliśmy 7000LKR. Pułapka turystyczna pełną gębą. Są lepsze knajpy w okolicy z tańszym menu. Ceny noclegu nieadekwatne to poziomu hotelu, śniadania mimo wysokiej ceny dodatkowo płatne.

Excellent location, brilliant breakfast, really worth the stay

Het personeel is werkelijk geweldig en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. De kamers zijn schoon, bedden comfortabel, water goed warm en altijd goede waterdruk gehad. De kamers zijn ruim opgezet en dat vonden we ook heel erg fijn. Ik herken niets van de negatieve reviews hieronder, tijdens ons verblijf werkte alles naar behoren in de kamer, ook de airco's,, hygienische producten werden dagelijks bijgevuld, de housekeeping kwam op verzoek en de handdoeken konden ook dagelijks gewisseld worden. Het zwembadje is ook heel fijn (al hebben we daar niet veel gebruik van gemaakt door het aanwezige strand voor de deur). De locatie is top, midden in Weligama, weinig tot geen geluidsoverlast, omdat de kamers ver genoeg van de straat liggen. Bijna iedere ochtend zagen we apen in de bomen en 's avonds vuurvliegjes. Ook ontbijt en eten in het bijbehorende restaurant kunnen we dik aanraden. Kortom, een superfijn verblijf en wij komen met ons gezin zeker terug.

Er waren enkele rustverstorende momenten die we als toeristen niet zo goed konden plaatsen, maar ze zijn te overzien, gezien alle positieve zaken aan dit verblijf. 'S nachts werd een generator aangezet dat veel lawaai maakte en het hele gezin wakker maakte en op een ochtend was er tijdelijk rookoverlast dat ons wakker maakte door een motorvoertuig in de tuin. Het personeel heeft daar excuses voor aangeboden. Als je hier doorheen kunt kijken, heb je een topverblijf.

L'hôtel est très proche de l'océan, juste une route à traverser. La piscine est très bien et un billard est à disposition. Proche des restaurants. Le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute pour l'organisation des départs par exemple.

L'eau chaude est très difficile à régler et moustiquaire pas étanche. Attention il est noté vue sur mer dans notre chambre mais non, on avait vu sur piscine.

Fantastic location, lovely pool. A big delicious breakfast. Rooms were spacious. Staff were really great. Right across the road from a fab surfing beach where you can hire boards and swim.

There was quite a lot of noise from the building next door. It didn’t ruin our stay. Just one of those things. Overall we had a great stay and would book again.

Great central location, set far enough back off the road to eliminate noise. Great pool. All staff were extremely nice. Super new rooms with extra high ceilings made them feel light and airy. Lift for baggage is a bonus.

Het hotel ziet er aan de voorkant best netjes uit, maar achterom begint de ellende eigenlijk meteen. Ik kwam iets te vroeg aan en kreeg te horen dat de kamer over een uurtje klaar zou zijn. Prima, dacht ik. Dat “uurtje” werd alleen uiteindelijk ruim drie uur wachten. Steeds werd gezegd dat het bijna zover was. Uiteindelijk kon ik pas om 15:30 mijn kamer in, terwijl op hun eigen site staat dat inchecken vanaf 15:00 is. Geen excuus, geen drankje, gewoon wachten. Bij het zwembad hangt regelmatig een geur waar je niet vrolijk van wordt, het ruikt letterlijk naar stront. Niet echt de vibe die je zoekt als je wilt ontspannen. Voor deze prijs verwacht je ook wel een aparte wc, maar alles zit gewoon in één kleine badkamer. Het water lekt, dus je hebt constant natte voeten. De badkamerdeur heeft een veel te zware drukveer en klapt steeds agressief dicht, alsof hij haast heeft. De klink is scherp en irritant en de afzuiging doet zo weinig dat alles lekker blijft hangen. Alles voelt net niet af, alsof er overal op details is bezuinigd. Je betaalt hier duidelijk meer dan wat je ervoor terugkrijgt. Voor dit geld zijn er echt betere opties.

Mycket centralt och nära stranden för nybörjar surf. Toppenbra rum för en familj att bo i en studio, med två rum, stort kylskåp, balkong och kök/vardagsrum. Rent och fräscht. Många och bra restauranger runt om för frukost och mat.

Mindre grejer var delvis trasiga, men inget som avgjorde helhets vistelsen. Lite oklart hur det funkade med städ/sopor.

There was a small leak in our bedroom and bathroom but these didn’t bother us.

Super Lage, nur über die Straße und schon am Strand. Pool war sauer und angenehm. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Unser Studio war groß.

Das Essen ist sehr teuer im Vergleich zu umliegenden Restaurants. Die Bettdecken waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig (erst dachten wir es sind Tagesdecken und haben die echten Decken gesucht) und die Moskitonetze eher störend - aus meiner Sicht.

Отличный отель. Рядом сеиферский пляж. Мелкий , можно с маленькими детьми спокойно зайти , волн по сравнению с уннаватуной почти нет. Номер очень чистый , удобный , с кондиционером . просторный , с балконом. Бассейн тоже понравился . Вечерами играли в бильярд

Perfekte Lage gegenüber vom Strand und alle Surfschulen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Pool war auch schön. Wir fühlten uns sicher, da abends immer ein Wachdienst da war.

Unbequeme Matratzen, Lärm von der Hauptstraße, zu teuer im vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften im ähnlichen preissegment.

Great location just across the road from the beach (which wasn’t obvious to me how close it is from the listing). It has a more upmarket feeling than expected. Very clean pool. Room was comfortable enough. Staff helped us to arrange onward travel.

Location was good with good sized rooms

The rooms were not ready when we arrived. When they had one room ready, it was still not done. We had to go out and come back for them to get the rooms ready. We had our rooms ready only at 6.30pm. We were supposed to checkin at 3pm. Also, there were no condiments in the rooms. No tea packets, coffee packets... After all this, there was no compensation of any sort from the hotel. Wasted hours because of them.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Behulpzaam. Denken met je mee!! Flexibel!! Ondanks de drukte op de boulevard zat je mooi terug getrokken aan het zwembad.

Nette kamers. Fijne ruime douche en badkamer. Balkon Tegenover de zee. En een heel goed restaurant waar we ontbeten mooi kijkend op de baai..

Well maintained space and great location

I would say everything. Hotel is close to the surfing area. At the end my family didn't even change bathing suits, came straight to hotel from ocean . Everything is clean. Smells nice. Furniture beautiful. View from our apartment which was on 4th floor - mesmerising. Pool - clean, long, water very nice. Breakfast very good with choice between eggs(with sausage, tomato and mushrooms) and pancakes plus fruits, fruit juice, tea, toasts. Staff friendly, smiling. On the Ground floor was bar for guests with tv and pool(Biljard). Oh and there was kitchen in apartment with fridge and electric stove. Mosquito nets over very comfortable beds. Thank you Casa Samaya it was pleasure to stay.

הגענו לכאן וישר הרגשנו בבית ממש מול הים ובשניה אנחנו גולשים בים יש בריכה מפנקת. חזרנו בסוף השהות שלנו בסרילנקה להתפנק עוד כמה ימים במלון לפני שעזבנו . הצוות עוזר ונותן תחושה שכיף לחזור אליה כבר מתגעגעים לסרילנקה ואליגמה

שהיינו המסעדה עוד לא עבדה אז לא יצא לנו לאכול שם
