Pendant mon séjour, j’ai séjourné dans huit hôtels, et c’est ici que j’ai pris le meilleur petit-déjeuner. La gérante est vraiment adorable, très solaire et accueillante. J’ai passé un excellent séjour. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et confortable. Je recommande cet établissement sans la moindre hésitation !

The owner before I check in asked me to cancel the booking as he is not agreeing to my offer terms.If he doesn't agree with the offers app is offering The app should take actions against him.

Big room, huge varied breakfast, good water pressure

Little far from town but can get tuktuk, a few cockroaches including a dead one in room

Bestes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Du bekommst hier sehr viel für dein Geld. Sehr liebe Gastgeberin. Wir durften sogar die Waschmaschine benutzen. Das Frühstück war einfach riesig.

Das Bett war jetzt nicht das bequemste, aber für 1-2 Nächte vollkomen in Ordnung.

The stay was clean and the service was good. Very hospitable. The person who served us breakfast was the stays owner friend, once we were done having breakfast he also packed some for us to carry as lunch, saying that out there things are costly. And they were quick to tend to our request.

Bed was uncomfortable for 2. There was no proper hot water facility 😅 and the stay is in a place where reaching there is a hit inconvenient. But these felt negligible infront of their hospitality.

La habitación con el baño privada, a la noche solo se sentia el ruido del río. Y lo mejor son los host super serviciales, te hacen un desayuno increible! A mi como tenia un tour me lo hicieron temprano, personas maravillosas! Me hubiera quedado mas dias!

Quiet and Clean.

The landlord was very friendly and approachable. The house was far from the city center but it was very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Die Host war so unfassbar lieb und hat den Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht! Ich wurde so nett empfangen und habe direkt Kaffee bekommen und auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war total viel und lecker, sie hat es einfach mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Ich habe dort nicht gekocht, deshalb kann ich nichts zur Ausstattung sagen aber das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich. Der Host war bei Ankunft gut erreichbar und hat einen immer weitergeholfen und Tipps gegeben.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas außerhalb von Kandy aber mit dem Bus oder TukTuk kein Problem, dafür ist es ruhig, da muss man selbst entscheiden, was einem lieber ist :)

The location is definitely too far. Tuktuk do not arrive to the property. So you need to walk and at night it can be a little bit scary.

I had a wonderful stay here! The room was spacious and comfortable, but my favorite thing was the breakfast. Delicious! The house is in a quiet location just outside the center of Kandy, but you can easily get there by tuktuk or bus.

The house is very well built and cleaned. Above Sri Lankan standards for sure. It is a very simple house, but has everything you need, looks and smells very fresh. The lady who comes every day for breakfast and cleaning is the sweetest person that you will ever meet. Always laughing and friendly. I had a Sri Lankan breakfast with egg hoppers, coconut pancakes and milk tea. And it was really nice.

The Sri Lankan breakfast was good especially the first days. Communication via what’s app was very good. The family was very service minded. For me the location outside of the city was great. In a more rural area which offered access to local communities and a peaceful environment. Good communication to the city. Extended my stay and the family offered a discount.

Safety and security is good in the area. The ability to be able to shut the gate when leaving the property might made me think about this issue.

It is a little bit on the outskirts, depending on your preferences, whether you want to be closer to the city or a more relaxed environment. For relaxation, it is conveniently located at the lake, and it is a short and cheap tuktuk ride to inner city.

I would highly recommend the room with the ensuite bathroom. It is light, spacious and has a sliding door opening up to the garden. The breakfasts were also delicious and fresh. There is also a washing machine on the property which is really convenient.

The kitchen can be improved

Family that is hosting the place is really good and supportive. A calm place close to the Mahaweli river. It is totally a value for money place.

the best place i have been in a long time. located in a quiet area, near a picturesque river. The hosts are very responsive and wonderful people. They cooked us very tasty breakfasts. We were allowed to use the kitchen and washing machine, which we really liked. No one lives in the house except for the guests, the owners live in the neighboring house. The entrance from the street is through an automatically lifting gate with a remote control. I really liked this accommodation, as well as the hosts, for which I am grateful and happy for their hospitality, albeit short-term.

I liked everything very much. People come here for a holiday and we should be grateful to this family for their hospitality.

The villa is well clean and located in a quiet good place near to kandy City. This villa is run by the family. They are friendly and good, and breakfast was delicious too. I highly recommend this place

The family is super friendly they do their best to make you feel at home and to give you what you need. The location is quiet near the river, I enjoyed wake up and going to take a bath in the river :).

I had a fantastic stay at Roo Lanka Homestay Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, and the hotel is conveniently close to Kandy city, offering a peaceful retreat. The Sri Lankan food was delicious and authentic.
