Unbelievable view. Very comfortable space with everything you could need plus some thoughtful extras

the apartment was lovely. The view incredible. All the facilities you need for a stay. We are able to cook and there was a washing machine. The owner, Paul, provided supplies for breakfast and there were usual cooking need supplies that you dont always want to buy, like rice sauces etc. Paul was very helpful and gave suggestions for eating out etc. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Although we didnt meet the hosts they were great to talk to over the phone and very helpful. The apartment lacks for nothing and very interesting with all the art work and what a veiw!! Wow the sunsets were amazing.

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay. Paul and Colleen were so generous with all the extras they provided and with their excellent suggestions. The views from all the windows facing the beach were incredible - constantly changing colours of the sea and sky. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need, and more, to enjoy spending time in this special place.

Everything! It was exceptional in every way. Huge room with two lounge areas, dining table and super comfortable bed. Great breakfast will amazingly stocked pantry. Not to mention the fantastic view. What a great place to relax and only 5-10 minutes into central Nelson.

A large well appointed studio with quality furnishings. Best bed we have had. The kitchen was well provisioned with a pantry of food to choose from and included a continental B'fast. The views were excellent and good advice on what to see and where to eat.

Car parking is on the street.

Fabulous apartment, I was wowed before we even stepped inside ! The hosts had covered every eventuality and are to be commended on an outstanding place to stay for our 8 day trip.

The apartment is amazing with great views, was warm and well stocked too.

Breathtaking views, comfortable bed and couches, and a well stocked pantry. Access was very easy and there was great wifi connection. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stunning location, and the view is unbeatable. The apartment has everything that is needed (and more) for a short and long stay. Paul and Colleen are great hosts and gave great recommendations for places to go for food or for visiting.

There is really nothing to mention

The location was good and in a quiet area. it was the view that was spectacular and we spent many hours observing activities that were taking place on the beach and on the water. The hosts were very generous and the food/coffee supplied were most enjoyed. There was ample provisions in the pantry and fridge also. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. As a ceramic artist, Paul the host, had many and varied pieces throughout the apartment and garden area which added to the magic of the place.

This is a beautiful property! The host thoughtfully stocked the kitchenette frige with everything you'd want for a quick breakfast: yogurt, multigrained bread, juice, fruit, jam, milk, butter. The pantry also had oatmeal and cold cereal and there was a small selection of tea and a coffee maker that used pods. We went to a couple of take-away places for dinner. The views from this place are stunning! It is also evident that a skillful ceramic artist lives here...his (and maybe her) work appears along the path to the house which is a bit steep but navigable. The art is also on display inside the well appointed room. It is wonderful to wake up to a view of the ocean! We were comfortable and slept well. Nice bath with environmentally conscious soaps and shampoos.

We missed meeting our host! Otherwise, we felt lucky to have chosen "Room with a View". We have no complaints

The view was incredible: a panoramic vista of the sea with the Abel Tasman hills in the background. The room was spacious, well equipped and well provisioned. Amazing.

Gorgeous views. Great location. Lovely to arrive and find food in the fridge. Great sitting areas for relaxing.

The bed was a little soft as we like much firmer.

Keys were in the door with a welcome note and additional information. Met the owner who was available for any help we needed but otherwise left us in peace - perfect! The views were superb, the apartment was spacious and light and bright with everything that we could possibly need. It was large enough to comfortably bring family back to to eat and relax with us.

Bed was on the very firm side.

The apartment had the most spectacular view! So spacious and comfortable, and our host had stocked the pantry and fridge with breakfast supplies prior to our arrival.

Excellent breakfast choices

Parking a bit of a problem but mainly because a lot of tradesman were doing flood repair work in the area .

The pantry and fridge were stocked with food. We were not expecting that. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed and more. The apartment was well located and positioned to get the afternoon sun. Good heat pump. Fantastic elevated sea views.

The TV is a bit on the small size, but worked well.

Awesome views from large front windows, plenty of towels, warm and comfortable room to relax in, loved the nespresso machine and selection of fruit and cereals.

Could have a more user friendly front door lock, also more sensor lighting as solar lights don't work so well on dull days

There was milk and bread in the fridge, and fruit, and a well stocked pantry.

We were very pleased with everything. The only concern would be that if someone had mobility issues, they may have trouble accessing the property, especially if having to deal with luggage.

Very quaint apartment with fantastic views. Everything that was needed for a comfortable stay was supplied.

The only thing was there was not a lot of television channels to choose from as reception at times seemed pretty poor.

Clean, spacious, and well-equipped with an elevated location. Close to restaurants and a swimming beach. Comfortable beds and helpful host. Hard to beat. Parking is on the street but is effectively as good as private parking.

Absolutely loved it here, a little slice of paradise exactly what we needed after arriving from Brisbane and all the chaos that Cyclone Alfie had caused. All the extras in the pantry and fridge were outstanding and as for that million dollar view it was truly breathtaking!!!

It was well appointed, everything we needed & more. Small kitchen, but everything you needed to make a meal. The view was superb and the neighbourhood was very quiet. Host Paul was friendly & helpful. Loved all the quirky art installations.

It was a bit tricky moving luggage in & out because of the slope. Can't do much about that though, the view was worth the slope.

Beachside Apartment lived up to its promise with spectacular, panoramic views! It was great to watch the ever changing views and beautiful sunset. the unit is well set up and very comfortable. Paul was a very accomodating host. We appreciated all of the many extras provided in the fridge and pantry, that made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I loved this place. Wish I could stay for a week

Everything about this stay was magnificent. If I could sensibly provide a rating higher than 10, I would. The location and property are exceptional, and the hosts are utterly wonderful and went considerably above and beyond in the support they provided to us. If you are fortunate enough to find this venue available, don't hesitate - book it quickly!

Outstanding views, lovely location. The owner Paul had kindly left out fruit and various sundries for our convenience. The apartment was delightful with a very comfortable bed. The various pottery items, in and around the property, created by Paul and his father, added an extra personal touch.

The view was amazing! The apartment was full of windows to capture all of the bay. Walking distance to a great coffee shop, pub and the beach.

Not just the view is stunning, the room is cozy and beautiful. The details inside and outside the property are great, you can see the effort Paul and his wife have put to make the place perfect for each guest. Paul’s ceramics are really good!

Cannot think of anything that could be better, but the slope to and from the road might be challenging for some.

The communication with Paul leading up to and during my stay was excellent. The outside of the apartment was lovely and arriving inside - stunning. Decor and artwork beautiful. Thoughtful touches throughout the apartment. The view was simply breathtaking. The comments in the guestbook said it all. I would very highly recommend. I will definitely be back. Extremely good value for money and a stay that was so good for the soul. Many thanks!!!

The veiw was beautiful. I really enjoyed the bath. It was great being able to cook and eat looking out across the sea. It was quiet and well appointed.

Amazing place. Spacious and well appointed with panoramic views. Provisions provided were a real treat on arrival.

Breakfast was amazing. Loved the Vogels bread, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

The parking wasn't the best, but the street was being redone. It would have been heavy to carry suitcase down the drive, but Paul the owner did that for me so was great.
