Very close to the main Principe train station. Massive bedroom with AC and good bathroom. Good selection of bars and cafes around and you must try Ugo takeaway below the hotel... Best Pesto ever, you can eat it in the hotel dinning room. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant recommendations were excellent and not expensive at all. I would stay here again if I came back to Genoa.

Only the 56 stairs up to the hotel... 5 flights in total 😁 So not good if you have mobility issues, otherwise place is excellent.

Tout était parfait, dix sur dix ! La réception a été incroyable, avec une chaleur humaine incomparable qui donne l'impression d'arriver chez soi, et des explications sur un plan comme je n'en avais jamais vu (félicitations à Darío !). La chambre est immense, avec un plafond qui donne l'impression d'être une reine dans un palais. Tout était irréprochable du début à la fin.

Le seul bémol concerne les canalisations de la salle de bain, un problème fréquent dans les bâtiments anciens qui nécessite un entretien régulier avec des produits déboucheurs.

Hotel super bien situé : à coté de la faculté (visitable), de la très belle Basilique Santissima Annunziata del Vastato et du Musei Nazionali di Genova - Palazzo Reale et à quelques minutes du centre ville et de la Gare Genova Piazza Principe. L'hôtel est desservi par les bus, même si tout peut être fait à pied. Le personnel est très sympathique et très arrangeant. Je recommande.

L’emplacement est proche du centre historique de Gênes , la chambre est assez grande , propre , le personnel est très agréable.

Malheureusement la nuit le passage de la rue est assez bruyant et malgré les volets les lumières ne permettent pas une obscurité totale .

Hotel propre, les lits sont faits quotidiennement. Il y a une pièce commune pour les repas (avec micro-onde, distributeur friandises et boissons chaudes). Le personnel est à l'écoute et de bon conseils pour les visites.

L'entrée de l'hotel est difficile à trouver. Il a plusieurs séries d'escaliers (sans ascenseur).

Le porte delle stanze sono quelle vecchie e quindi piene di fessure sia tra porta e pavimento che tra le ante di chiusura. Si sente tutto, quello che succede nella stanza di fronte, nella reception e il viavai nel corridoio. Quindi no privacy e dormire con buoni tappi nelle orecchie. L'ascensore non c'è per cui attenzione con le valige grandi! I piani da superare sono 2!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Balbi in Genua und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgesprochen freundliche, herzliche und hilfsbereite Personal – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Hotel selbst hat sehr schöne und stilvolle Räumlichkeiten mit viel Charme und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen können wir absolut bestätigen. Alles war sauber, gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders angenehm war für uns auch der späte Check-in, der völlig unkompliziert und sehr freundlich ermöglicht wurde. Gerade nach einer längeren Anreise war das eine große Erleichterung und ein wirklich toller Service. Insgesamt ein sehr sympathisches Hotel mit tollem Personal, schönen Räumlichkeiten und einer ausgesprochen angenehmen Atmosphäre. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Pleasant and helpful staff, good airconditioning, room was spacious and clean. We didn't have meals in the hotel but it would have been great for that, given there was a full kitchen.

No elevator (difficult when it's super hot and humid), bit of a labyrinth to get to the room, and the room that we stayed in was not one of those pictured (no nice flooring or ceiling for example), however the staff did offer us the choice to change rooms if we wanted.

Attention : - le PARKING n'est pas du tout prévu ! Il faut garer sa voiture ailleurs et payer en plus 25€... - le PETIT-DÉJEUNER n'est pas compris ! Il faut aller dans un bar en bas de l'hôtel et le payer en plus ! Vraiment dommage car sur l'annonce, le parking est marqué comme prévu et les petit-déjeuners sont compris... ça gâche le séjour...

Really interesting and quirky hotel, very clean and comfortable despite being 2 stars only. Located on the top floor of a very old residential building, it has a lot of charm and is authentically rough around the edges. Both our rooms and the bathroom were spacious and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great for the train station and nearby museums.

No lift so hauling suitcases up the stairs was a bit of an endurance test.

O pessoal que nos atendeu foi muito atencioso.

Falta de um elevador, sendo necessário subir três andares com malas ou após às caminhadas pela cidade. O valor da hospedagem é alto visto que não oferece uma estrutura e qualidade muito boa. A classificação 2 estrelas está de bom tamanho pelo hotel, sem café da manhã.

Ho alloggiato qui per il matrimonio di un mio amico e devo dire che la struttura, anche se per sole due notti, mi ha piacevolmente stupito in positivo. Camera molto bella e spaziosa con volte affrescate, aria condizionata e molto ben silenziata considerata la via (estremamente trafficata) dove affaccia. Staff cordialissimo. La struttura dista solo 5 minuti a piano dalla stazione Principe, perfetta sé si arriva a Genova in treno.

La posizione top in una delle vie principali del centro storico a 15 minuti a piedi dell'acquario. Il soffitto affrescato che fa percepire di trovarsi in un posto dalla storia grandiosa. La gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff. Proprio sotto l'hotel c'è un'ottima focacceria e il personale dell'hotel è stato così gentile da permetterci di consumare un pasto da asporto nella saletta colazioni.

Sotto la volta del soffitto affrescato è un 2 stelle, ma è comunque un'ottima soluzione per il centro di Genova.. Lo sapevamo alla prenotazione ed è in linea con il prezzo. Alcuni dettagli come gli affreschi,gli asciugamani di ottima qualità e il sorriso del personale sono da 5 stelle! Anche sulla pulizia niente da dire x questo daremo comunque un 10!

la struttura seppur pulita e in buono stato è datata essendo in un palazzetto storico , il condizionatore è di quelli di 20 anni fa sotto la finestra con una tanica sotto che una volta che si riempie bisogna spegnerlo perchè altrimenti bagna il parquet l' albergo sta al 2 piano senza ascensore !

Calme et proche de la porte de Gênes

Posizione: qualche minuto a piedi dalla stazione e qualche minuto a piedi dall Acquario. Se dovete visitare l Acquario questa struttura è strategica davvero.. soprattutto se venite dalla stazione dei treni. Lo staff gentilissimo eccezionale. Ci hanno trattato con gentilezza e cura. Consigliato.

Chambre un peu vétuste, notamment la salle de bain qui est dans son jus. Attention, toutes les chambres ne sont pas dotées d’un plafond décoré.

Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine sehr gute Lage um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Auch das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer was sauber und grosszügig geschnitten.

Weniger positiv waren jedoch die dünnen Wände. Man hört praktisch jedes Geräusch aus den Nachbarzimmern und vom Flur. Ebenfalls enttäuschend war die vom Hotel vermittelte Zusammenarbeit mit der Garage Columbia. Obwohl wir das Parken unseres Fahrzeugs bereits im Voraus über das Hotel reserviert hatten, war bei unserer Ankunft offenbar keine Reservierung vorhanden. Noch ärgerlicher war die Fahrzeugabholung: Der Mitarbeiter bzw. Inhaber erschien rund eine Stunde verspätet, wodurch wir beinahe unsere Fähre verpasst hätten. Diese Erfahrung war sehr stressig und unnötig. Aus diesem Grund würde ich zukünftigen Gästen empfehlen, eine andere Garage oder Parkmöglichkeit zu wählen.

La zona, soprattutto nelle ore serali, può risultare meno tranquilla e non sempre invita a spostarsi a piedi. Le scale sono infinite e piuttosto scomode quando si devono trasportare le valigie ai piani superiori superiori. Nel complesso la struttura è nella media, senza particolari elementi distintivi.

È a pochi passi dalla stazione di Genova Principe, gestita credo in famiglia da persone gentilissime. In camera trovi tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. La cosa più bella il soffitto.

Per quanto mi riguarda non ho avuto problemi. Sconsiglio a chi fa fatica a fare le scale perché per raggiungere l'hotel bisogna farne ben 55 e per ora non c'è l'ascensore. Pare sia nei programmi però. Per chi ce la fa è un bel work out. Se a qualcuno può dar fastidio l'aria condizionata fa un po' di rumore quando è accesa e inoltre le stanze non sono molto insonorizzate quindi si sente bene ciò che accade in corridoio. Comunque, tutto sommato è stata una bella esperienza.

Un albergo semplice, familiare, ma pulito e accogliente , comodo per Università, per la stazione e per il centro, ad un prezzo molto onesto, e con una cucina a disposizione per la colazione. Wifi ottimo. La mia stanza era silenziosa. Alla reception sono tutti molto gentili e accoglienti.

Był to dla nas już drugi pobyt w hotelu (nocleg przed i po rejsie statkiem). Doskonała lokalizacja, duży pokój. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje przemiła obsługa. Personel był niezwykle uprzejmy, pomocny - dostaliśmy wspaniałe instrukcje odnośnie zwiedzania Genui wraz z mapą :-) Ogromnym atutem było również to, że otrzymaliśmy pokój już o godzinie 10:00. To było dla nas bardzo ważne i niezwykle komfortowe rozwiązanie, za które jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni. Możliwość wcześniejszego zameldowania pozwoliła nam odpocząć po podróży i znacznie ułatwiła organizację całego dnia!

The hotel was walking distance from the train station. The room was excellent and cosy, it was important to us to rest in our tight schedule of sight-seeing. The staff was extremely helpful. It was a busy day and he didn't let us go on our way to the city without a proper introduction to the city and a personalized instruction based on the available time we had (only 1 day sadly). He recommended a restaurant where we had the best meal in our entire vacation.

The landlords were exceptionally helpful during my stay to call up a taxi, look up for trains and call an ambulance.

The only discomfort I would say was to climb the stairs with luggage up to top and the room with the window with a view to the neighbors house. Overall the room and the bathroom were clean.

The location is perfect! The service is awesome. Kind and respectful people are working there. Especially a lady that met me there at reception she took a map and pointed me to every nice and ‘must visit’ locations around. I love the vibe

A Principe vasútállomás mellett, rendkívül jó helyen helyezkedik el. A szoba csendes, egy kis közre nyílik az ablak. A személyzet nagyon kedves, segítőkész. A szoba tágas, tiszta, az ágyak, matracok kényelmesek. A közelben számos bolt, bár, étterem található.

Хороший отель в старой квартире. Ремонт уставший, но довольно чисто. Все соответствует ожиданиям.

Przemiła i bardzo pomocna obsługa. Pierwszego dnia zostaliśmy poinformowani o atrakcjach w okolicy. Świetna lokalizacja: blisko stacji Genova Piazza Principe, Porto Antico. W okolicach bary, restauracje (polecamy Ugo) i małe sklepiki. Przestronny pokój z bardzo ciekawym sufitem 🙂. Codziennie sprzątany. Dużym plusem była możliwość napełnienia bidonów wodą. Ogólnie sympatyczny hotelik w fajnym klimacie.

Czystość ogólnie na plus, jedynie koty pod łóżkiem - uznajemy to za wypadek przy pracy 😉. Trochę ciasna łazienka.

It was a bit noisy
