Lack of decent chairs and table. 2 uncomfortable chairs were available but for comfort one needed to sit on the bed. What is possibly called a table is in fact a rickety butler's tray. One bedlamp not working. Electric switch plate in bathroom absent. Paint on skirtings and burglar proofing seems to be a work in progress. Access to the property only by means of phoning the attendant to unlock the gate. Returning at night could be seen as a disturbance for him.

Maybe needs an upgrade in styling. No light in the bathroom area makes shaving a bit of an issue. No heating facilities and the room was very cold.

I did not appreciate Bernard to WhatsApp me when i am on a night out asking if i’m on my way back yet. There was no mention of curfew. This was after 01:00 in the morning. “Are you on the way” The reason why i booked here was to go out and not worry about driving back to JHB. Bernard complained that i would wake up the other guests but i think the real issue was that he had to wake up and open up.

The swimming pool water needs to be cleaned. It needs chemicals to be cleaned and we couldn't swim because of that. The gate needs to be operated remotely as it will help Bernard do his job faster.

So means you plan your day and nights out to match the property and tske them in consideration not to make a old man get up at 23H00 or at 5H30 in the morning the only thing to change

Our room was not cleaned for the entire time we were there and we were not surprised to see the biggest cockroach we had ever seen in our lives in our room. We also could not understand why we were not allowed to use the intercom whenever we got back to place and had to make a phone call when we did not have a local line.

The only thing which was not so nice, was the skylights in the room. After a long journey, we were so tired. But the room was so light, we couldn't sleep well. The next morning, it was so light in the room, it felt like 10 o'clock, meanwhile, it was not even 6 o'clock

The room could use an air conditioner—the room was too cold and the only thing that was available was a fan.
