Moy Hotel

Muy buena la ubicación porque está justo en el centro del pueblo por lo que puedes llegar fácilmente a cualquier sitio. Personal agradable Calefacción, por lo que la enciendes y al rato tienes la habitación aclimatada. Baño muy bonito Habitación acogedora para 1 persona.

No me gustó encontrarme varias arañas por el techo. Se nos fue la luz un día, aunque fue por unos minutos solo, podrían haber avisado de esto. Me pareció bastante desagradable que en el 2 día por la noche a eso de las 2:56 am la televisión emitiese un sonido como de alarma de emergencia🚨 a pesar de encontrarse apagada. No me gustó nada la verdad, me pegué un susto terrible, además que no fue solo un pitido sino 2 seguidos y al cabo de unos segundos uno tercero. Dio muy mal rollo ya que vuelvo a decir, estaba apagada!!! En fin, ojalá arreglen eso. También eché en falta una tetera, una taza para desayunar y unos sobres de té, así como una cuchara. No hubiese estado mal que hubiesen puesto una plancha también. A pesar de que estamos en verano, me gustaría poder haberme secado el pelo con el secador, que tampoco había.

Cleaner just came into room at 11:30 we were still in bed checkout was not till 12. Very disappointed by this. There was no sign for us to put up to not disturb. TV didn't work right and let us use Netflix. Shower soaked the floor.

Near the Foxford Mills and The Museum of Country Living and many more beautiful places. The food in the hotel was excellent both breakfast and dinner. The coffee as really good in the mornings and a good selection of wines for the evenings. The bathroom was outstanding. Extremely clean room. Lovely friendly staff.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. There are blinds instead of curtains that allowed light in at the sides so it was very bright in the mornings at this time of year.

Sehr nettes freundliches Personal, Lage direkt im Ort, Zimmer sehr groß mit ausreichend Platz leider etwas wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Fernseh mit Prime-Möglichkeit.

Für uns die Zimmer direkt zur Straße nicht ganz optimal aber okay.

no kettle in the room-fire alarm went off at 1:30 am multiple times over our bed- couldn’t turn off because connected to a main system—very loudly. in the morning claimed another customer was smoking-acted like it was no big deal. didn’t even offer a cup of coffee for the trouble. room walls were angled and the bed was angled so kept hitting our leg on the bed.

The bed was beyond its years, definitely needs replacement. No shampoo or other products in the shower wad annoying.

The fire doors slammed all the time. I would recommend using a soft close mechanism on the fire doors. It’s really a very highly effective for preventing slamming

Terribly small double room

Wir sind "leider" 2,5 Tage in Foxford während unseres roadtrips gestrandet, weil unser Auto gestreikt hatte. Zum Glück konnten wir uns kurzfristig ins Moy Hotel einbuchen. Die Leute dort waren alle so nett und hilfsbereit, wir konnten auch immer länger im Zimmer bleiben beim Check out, weil wir auf unser Auto warten mussten. Das angrenzende Restaurant / Pub war auch sehr gemütlich. Leckeres Essen und Frühstück. Das Zimmer / Badezimmer war ausreichend groß. Leider an einer Straße gelegen mit viel Verkehr, aber auch mitten im Zentrum. Danke an alle Menschen vor Ort und auch an Reapes Autoservice, dass wir Foxford (trotz Autostreik) mit einem Lächeln in Erinnerung behalten werden 😉 ❤️

Location was superb on Main St. Foxford. The room as advertised was compact but you wouldnt have noticed very well designed and the bathroom was stunning! The pub which you didnt hear from the rooms was lovely and the restaurant food was delicious! Staff was lovely and very polite and welcoming.

Location was excellent, right in the center of Foxford. Clean, comfortable room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities. The shower was excellent.

Room was spotless and is maintained to a very high standard. The staff are both excellent and professional. The food is the restaurant is extremely good for breakfast and dinner.

The extractor fan outside my room could bother some people but wasn’t a major issue for me

We stayed here for a family funeral. It was perfect, both restaurant and function room were amazing. Friendly helpful staff that couldn’t do enough for us.

What’s not to like?

Realy disappointing stay, no reception on checking,in. Reviews looked good for small pub hotel,

No breakfast, no chef, no serving staff, evening bar was full with a funeral so not the environment to sit down for evening meal, food finished at 19:30! No tea coffee i your room, just a realy bad stay!!

Wonderful friendly staff. Very helpful on finding taxi. Good dinner and delicious included breakfast. We mistakenly left credit card in restaurant and they dealt with securing it. A very positive experience and above expectations. Recommend highly!

Clean, comfortable, and recently renovated gem on Main Street, a few doors down from where my grandmother was born in 1898. Hotel staff were warm and friendly and dinner/breakfast in the hotel restaurant was top notch.

Well located and good food.

We stayed in room 105. Everytime the stairs door closed throughout the night, it created a vacuum shaking the doors to the room and the bathroom.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Three pillows and a cushion on the double bed was not sufficient for a couple. While breakfast was excellent, we were not sure as residents what was included. Could we have orange juice, porridge and a full Irish for instance as each item was priced individually. A separate menu for residents would be more appropriate going forward.

Exceptional service politeness from everyone starting with receptionist, breakfast and bar staff made us welcomed and cared for our needs 100% would recommend to anyone visiting Foxford and surrounding areas.

Nice small family run hotel. Decor very fresh and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Food was very good and well presented.

While the rooms are quiet compact, a few small touches/extras needed in them. eg no toilet roll holder or towel ring by the sink in my room.A mirror in the room would be good, only one in the en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities would also be nice

There was a step from bedroom going into en-suite and we found this dangerous as nearly fell. Room was small bed was pushed against wall. No tea making facilities in room and no cereal/fruit for breakfast.

Breakfast was great. It was not explained that we could have anything we liked since we paid for B&B. I think the prices were if you came in “off the street”. The staff were lovely.

Room 104 was awful ~ cramped bed tiny for 2 . Depressing. Room 101 much better with more space. Why no tea making facilities? Quite noisy but to be expected in a town. Parking in a supermarket car park not ideal but again it’s on a main town street. Had to ask for a hair dryer.
