Foxford penthouse

Beautiful apartment overlooking the river,we ate out but everything you needed was there,clean comfortable beds comfortable and its a good place to stay to see surrounding areas,the town itself has everything you could need,shops etc,only downside was the four flights of stairs to get up to it as we were 5 sisters ranging in age from 50 to 70yrs could do with a lift,but it didnt put us of,Mayo people are very friendly overall brilliant stay thanks

View of River Moy and area was wonderful. Very close to main shopping, eating and drinking areas. Local bars had good live music.

Only negative is the 3-story walk up - lots of exercise :)

Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Great location and amazing views. The extra things go a long way and put this property head and shoulders above others. Eg upgraded toiletries, welcome pack, lovely good quality fluffy towels. All perfect

The view from the balcony is phenomenal 👌 perfect for those sunset nights with a glass of wine 🍷 Overlooking the River Moy. The apartment itself had all the amenities you need for a really comfortable few nights stay. An absolute hidden gem!

Beautiful place, clean, quiet and with a great view in the river

Like everywhere in Ireland currently it was a little expensive.

Our host Eithne, on arrival was welcoming, warm and helpful. We were impressed after a long journey that basics for an arrival cuppa were provided. The whole experience of our stay was delightful and Eithne kept in touch to make sure we were ok.

Lovely spacious apartment, with stunning views over the river.

Loved the cleanliness of the apartment. Additionally it was a lovely touch seeing the snacks left for us along with the bottles of water in the fridge, cheese and butter. I have stayed at many properties and this one was standout. Excellent all round and we will come back. Great reactivity and communication from Carmel.

Convenient to Foxford town & Craggah cemetery

Very easy access and instructions on the apartment. Very clean and tidy. Parking. View of river. Easy access to walks.

Very minor points - Needs a few more kitchen utensils for cooking. Single bedroom off the master bedroom - didn’t realise this and not ideal when you have adult kids with you. But in the end was not a problem.

The location and the size of the apartment was very good and Eithne was really nice

We wasn’t able to lock the door but the host said it is a safe place and we don’t have to worry

The location was very central to areas we were visiting and the view from penthouse apartment was beautiful..

The cleanliness was not as luxurious as expected, nor were the facilities.. Dish washer was temperamental and the hot water system was desperate, causing us to use the kettle to wash dishes and our hair.. The WiFi was not working, we reported this but no effort was made to amend it, causing us to use over use our data allowance. The cutlery was grubby and also some saucepans, the fridge too was not fresh and the freezer box was very dirty. The windows were dirty leaving a feeling of grubbyness about the apartment. The lighting was not good either and there was just one wardrobe in the entire apartment for 4 people to use. One of the bedrooms did not have a dressing table or mirror and the other bedroom had no wardrobe.. Sadly this was not a luxury apartment as it’s advertised as.. I would give it 3* The host was very pleasant and left us milk and bread which was very kind of her.. would I recommend to a friend? unfortunately not.. we were disappointed as we had been looking forward to a staying in a “ luxury” apartment for the weekend!

Location was beautiful with balcony overlooking the river.Beds and bedding were super comfy with lovely Voya products in bathrooms.Warm welcome and friendly host . Would highly recommend.
