干净舒适，离景点都很近，周围也有很多好吃的。房东帮我看了半天行李，非常热心。

La struttura è vecchia e non tenuta. La nostra camera era all’ultimo piano, raggiungibile solo con una scala a chiocciola ripida e pericolosa. La camera era poco pulita e deteriorata, l’intonaco dei muri era giallo e scrostato. In bagno c’era un sacco di polvere e il lavandino non funzionava bene. Pulivano la camera solo quando volevano loro, siamo stati li quattro notti e abbiamo trovato i letti rifatti solo una volta. L’hotel è abbastanza vicino al centro ma per arrivarci c’è una salita ripida di 10 minuti da fare. Il proprietario è stato abbastanza gentile ma ci ha espressamente chiesto di prelevare e pagare in contanti perché non voleva pagare le commissioni del pos. Ci ha offerto il servizio di transfer da e per l’aeroporto, appena arrivati a Istanbul è venuto a prenderci un ragazzo che guidava malissimo e velocemente allora l’abbiamo riferito al proprietario dell’hotel dicendo che non volevamo ancora lui per il trasporto di rientro all’aeroporto. Nonostante il proprietario ci avesse detto che non c’era problema e che avrebbe fatto venire qualcun altro, ha chiamato ancora lui e quindi anche il viaggio rientro è stato un incubo.

The hotel is in a good location, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and shops nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also used the hotel's airport shuttle for our return journey, and the service was good.

We booked two apartments for six people, but unfortunately several facilities were not working properly. The TVs in both apartments did not work at all, even after the staff tried to fix them; one gas stove burner was not working, and the kitchen hood in the other apartment did not work either. We were particularly disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, and the actual condition did not match the impression given by the photos; the kitchen utensils were also quite old and should be replaced.

Location and helpful host

The room and bathroom are poorly maintained, the AC is old and barely works, and the power outlets are broken. The bed sheets wren´t clean enough, and overall cleanliness of the place is very low.

Kumluk Konak’s location was excellent. It’s located 15 minutes walking distance from the historical sights found within the Fatih region of Istanbul (the Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome, German Fountain, Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque, and various other locations.) Additionally, Kumluk Konak is surrounded by cute cafes and restaurants 3-10 minutes’ walk from the hotel, making grocery shopping or eating out very convenient.

Prior to arriving at Kumluk Konak, I booked an airport shuttle through NP, an organization that works with the hotel. During the drive from SAW Airport, the driver told me the trip would take approximately 1.5 hours due to traffic but could be reduced to 40 minutes if I paid an additional 400 TL to use the underwater tunnel. When I declined, he became upset and suggested I should pay more because the journey would take longer, despite the fare being quoted as a fixed €50. Throughout my stay, communication was difficult due to the limited English proficiency of the hotel manager and drivers, resulting in repeated misunderstandings regarding transportation, pricing, and hotel arrangements. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room was unavailable due to a water issue and that I would spend the first night at another hotel owned by a friend of the manager. I had not been informed beforehand and would likely have chosen another hotel had I known. I was also initially quoted a room price approximately €10 higher than the Booking.com rate, with the manager claiming exchange rates had changed. Only after questioning the amount did he agree to use the standard rate. After the first night, I was required to move properties. Despite informing the manager when I would return, my key card at the temporary hotel was deactivated before I could retrieve my belongings, leaving me unable to access my room. Once checked into Kumluk Konak, I found the room did not match the online photographs. The shower head was broken, the bathroom showed signs of poor cleaning, the blanket was inadequate, and the sink faucet functioned poorly. During my stay, a friend transiting through Istanbul asked to stay for one night. I informed the manager and offered to pay the requested €15 fee, but she was denied accommodation. At checkout, when I attempted to raise concerns about my stay, the manager repeatedly interrupted me and became confrontational.

Amazing location, in a very interesting neighborhood with many local restaurants. The owner Savaş was super friendly and helpful, and gave me great recommendations and very nice conversations.

The location of this hotel is excellent, placing you within easy walking or tram distance to all major historical sites, as well as lively food streets and souvenir shops. The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating.

There are significant drawbacks to consider. The hotel does not live up to the advertised pictures; the rooms are smaller and the bathrooms and overall property require more thorough cleaning, and the Tv was not working Additionally, the steep uphill walk to the tram can be very exhausting, and the daily service lacked consistency, with missed room cleaning and towel changes.

Location was great. Around a 10-20 mins walk to the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque or suleymaniye mosque, etc. The person on the counter was very friendly and helpful. It was kinda a one-bed apartment with everything equipped, including fridge, microwave, stove etc.

The room/apartment was on the 3rd floor without a lift. kinda spiral stairs, which were fine for adults, but kids were not very comfortable.

الموقع جميل جداً، كثير من الحياة حول الفندق! الشخص الذي يدير الفندق خلوق جداً ولطيف ومتعاون.

الغرفة في الطابق الأعلى، الدرج طويل وضيق بعض الشيء. أواني المطبخ مستهلكة لكنها تفي بالغرض! لا يوجد عزل، تستطيع سماع كل الأصوات حولك.

Właściciel bardzo w porządku. Lokalizacja ok, a standard taki jak wszędzie w Turcji w tej kwocie. Jak ktoś jest przyzwyczajony do 4 lub więcej gwiazdek w Europie to tutaj może się nieco zdziwić, ale jako baza wypadowa jak najbardziej polecam.

Skvělá volba pro každého, kdo chce poznat Istanbul. Výborná poloha, odkud se dá snadno dostat k hlavním památkám i na trajekty přes Bospor. Pokoj byl čistý, pohodlný a vše fungovalo bez problémů. V okolí je spousta možností, kde se najíst nebo jen posedět u čaje. Pobyt jsem si opravdu užil a ubytování předčilo moje očekávání. Do Istanbulu se určitě vrátím a znovu zvolím toto ubytování. 😊🇹🇷✨

Очень хороший хозяин отеля! Не далеко от центра старого города, но нужно подниматься по склону, так же недалеко от набережной, можно и по ней дойти до города и насладиться видом.

В самом деле комнаты немного более устаревшие, чем на фото. Но за эту стоимость это небольшой минус.

Il giorno della nostra partenza ci ha consentito di fermarci in appartamento fino alle 5 del pomeriggio, a causa di un problema di salute, senza chiederci un pagamento extra. Molto disponibile in generale. Se non fosse stato così gentile, la nostra recensione sarebbe stata peggiore, perché l'appartamento è inadeguato.

Strutture vecchie e trascurate, box doccia malandato, con un' anta mancante, tende in camera non sufficientemente oscuranti (luce lampioni dalla strada fino alle 4 del mattino, poi dalle 5 luce naturale ...), equipaggiamento zona cottura insufficiente e in pessime condizioni, di fatto inutilizzabile. Abbiamo richiesto una padella supplementare e ci è stato consegnato un tegame completamente scrostato ... Avevamo scelto una struttura con angolo cottura per problemi alimentari, ma in realtà non ci è stato possibile cucinare alcunché in appartamento. Non posto le fotografie scattate, vista la gentilezza del gestore ...

After staying at Kumluk Konark Hotel for 3 days, we went on a trip to Cappadocia and returned at 1 AM Midnight . The owner, Savas, went out of his way to upgrade our room for the night, which was such a thoughtful gesture after a long journey. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore Istanbul. If I ever return to Istanbul, I’ll definitely stay at Kumluk Konark Hotel again—highly recommend it for its excellent service and warm hospitality!

Pictures did not accurately depict the accommodation e.g. the foyer is not as ‘fancy’ as shown in the ad (no carpet and gold rods on the stairs). Our room (superior suite) was very small. Having said that, the nightly rate was extremely cheap

La chambre est confortable et la location est top pour explorer Istanbul a pied.Savas etait très a l'écoute. J'ai bien aimé que la chambre étais chauffée, on est en printemps mais il faisait froid et il pleuvait, du coup la chambre étais cosy et accueillante.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und die Verkehrsanbindung ist ausgezeichnet. Der Gastgeber ist äußerst freundlich und das Zimmer ist bestens ausgestattet. 这家酒店非常舒适，空间大，地理位置好，老板非常热情。他们家毛巾，拖鞋，沐浴液洗手液，吹风机都有，还提供矿泉水。我比较喜欢住在顶楼，爬旋转楼梯也是我喜欢的风格。

Está prácticamente en el centro y el personal es muy amable. No está tal cuál se muestra en las fotos en cuanto a estado, pues es mucho más viejo y deteriorado, pero por lo que pagas está bien para dormir y ducharse.

Se paga en efectivo y no te avisan de esto, estaría bien mencionarlo. El alojamiento es como se muestra en fotos pero mucho más viejo y deteriorado. Una reforma no le iría mal. La limpieza podría mejorarse un poco, siento que le daría más puntos a favor. No nos repusieron gel ni champú, estaba prácticamente agotado cuando entramos a la habitación… Supongo que con avisar a recepción nos lo llenarían, pero no le dimos importancia porque llevábamos el nuestro.

A small hotel with atmosphere and wonderful staff and service. Ideal location, just a 15-minute walk from the old town. Safe neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. Room spacious and clean. Staff exceptionally polite and helpful. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose this property again on my next visit.

professionalism and safety concerns : our experience was strongly impacted by the behaviour of the receptionist, who was our only contact during the stay. One evening he invited us to go out with him and his cousin after his shift to “have a coffee and drive around the area”. We did not accept ( we didn’t want to go out with 2 strangers even less in their car ) . At 11:15 pm, he knocked on our room door to ask if we were ready to leave with them. We are two young women travelling alone, and this situation made us extremely uncomfortable, especially as this request came from a staff member who had access to our room and personal details. From that moment, we no longer felt safe in the hotel. We spent a very stressful night and decided to leave the property earlier than planned. + noisy + nobody was 24/24 at the reception

Der Inhaber des Hotels war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage ist optimal viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich werde in Zukunft wieder hier buchen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ottimo stile per la stanza, molto bello, posizione vicina a Sultanahmet. Prezzo buono e il signore che ci ha accolti è stato molto gentile. Reception aperta 24h/24. Una notte abbiamo avuto freddo e abbiamo chiesto una soluzione ed è venuto subito a darci delle coperte in più.

La stanza è stata più piccola delle aspettative, probabilmente 8/10 mq. Il rivestimento in legno, lo stile, nonostante fosse molto bello, era in legno e scricchiolava ad ogni passo. Le camere erano veramente vicine una dall'altra, tanto che una notte sono venuti a bussare, probabilmente non sono molto insonorizzate, non biasimo i vicini, ma penso che forse non è il massimo sentire i vicini parlare o aver paura di far rumore nella propria stanza. La pulizia in particolare nel letto non era impeccabile, forse le lenzuola trattenevano troppo la polvere, ma nel complesso non molto male. Il materasso è molto morbido, per chi come me preferisce quelli più rigidi non era il top. Il posto è vicino a Sultanahmet e il Grand Bazaar, punto più vicino dove prendere metro o tram (T1), circa 10 min in salita per Grand Bazaar e 15/17 min per Sultanahmet.

Дуже вдале розташування. Всього 10-15 хвилин ходьби від основних визначних памʼяток. Поруч багато кафе та ресторанів, магазинів, зупинки громадського транспорту. Гарний автентичний дизайн інтерʼєру. Меблі та двері з натуральної деревини. Є все необхідне в номері. Особлива подяка господарю готелю за щирий прийом та хороший сервіс.

It’s a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to all the major tourist attractions while still being a bit farther away from the tourists. The place is clean and comes with decent size double bed.

The entrance of the hotel was nothing like in booking pictures. The heating wasn’t working. To have a shower you need to let the water running for 5 min to get hot water and by the time you in it’s like a puddle .

Very nice owner. Helped us a lot and was kind everyday. The location is perfect. 10 min walking from everything and the tram station. A lot of restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy at 1 min walk. It is quiet in the room, so you can sleep. Nice, authentic style.

Everything was fine

Всё соответствовало ожиданиям и фото. Из минусов, которые были в отзывах - крутая винтовая лестница, а мы жили на 4 этаже, и низкие потолки - для нас не были критичными и не повлияли на отдых и оценку жилья. Двухкомнатный большой номер, хорошая спальня с хорошим большим шкафом, удобная кровать, зал-студия с диваном, было на чем вечером посидеть и покушать. Кондиционер в спальне мобильный, в зале сплит. На кухне рабочая микроволновка и рабочая электроплита, без нареканий. Немного не хватало тарелок, но нас двое, мы обходились. Если кто то поедет туда в большем составе - может быть добавят, если попросить. В ванной сантехника вся исправна, напор хороший, вода горячая идет минуты через три утром, надо подождать. Внизу на рецепшене можно взять зонт, если нужно. Расположение отличное - пешком и до Гранд-Базара, и до площади Султанахмет. Единственное, что идти вверх, минут 10. можно пойти вниз - там остановка трамвая и автобуса тоже есть, с чемоданами когда приехали и уезжали - пользовались этой линией, ждать подольше, но идти совсем рядом. Рядом с отелем есть супермаркет Шок и немного подальше на 30 метров - Ким, он получше. Рядом алкомаркет, с ценами не выше чем в сетевых Мигросах и аптека. Чемоданы после выселения оставили без проблем внизу и погуляли до отъезда. В выборе данного отеля не разочаровались.

Добавить тарелки, настроить музыкальные каналы с турецкой музыкой. Пожалуй это всё.

Great location - near all important turistic atractions. Restaurants and shops with local (no turistic) prices near by. Not far from the bus stop and walking distance to tram station - with "food street" on the way. Nice design, nice owners.

Matrimonial bed is a bit small (140cm wide). Cleaning doesn´t match europeens standarts - but in general is ok. Don´t look on details - inside woodcase, windows, dust on the radiator...
