Reviewed Sep 3, 2026La struttura è super facile da raggiungere, a pochi minuti dall’aeroporto di Fiumicino, pulitissima ed accogliente, e da sottolineare, all’avanguardia con la tecnologia. Lo staff è super cordiale, disponibile e preparato. Ci sono indicazioni ovunque già dall’entrata nell’appartamento. Do il massimo dei voti e consiglio a tutti di visitare il posto, io di sicuro ritornerò!

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026I would say the service is excellent. If you want to buy something to eat or other essentials, there's a grocery store nearby.
The hotel is comfortable and suitable if you're looking for a place to rest after a day of sightseeing. However if your main purpose is to visit the city, parks or major attractions , the location may not be the most convenient and may require extra travel time. Overall it's good option if you don't mind commuting.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Ho soggiornato nella stanza i giorni necessari per un concorso alla fiera di Roma; la stanza si trova in una posizione strategica, nei pressi di Fiumicino e dei parcheggi privati; si raggiunge velocemente e facilmente sia l’aeroporto che la fiera di Roma. La stanza è molto accogliente, si accede salendo qualche rampa di scale ed è dotata di ogni comfort, dai prodotti da bagno alle ciabattine usa e getta; La pulizia è impeccabile, sigillo di pulizia sul wc compreso, ed il letto molto comodo; C’è una piccola scrivania con mini frigo ed una macchinetta per il caffè con le cialde già fornite; La macchina la si può parcheggiare tranquillamente nel viale dal quale si accede alla stanza.
Per quanto la stanza si trovi in una posizione strategica è comunque nei pressi dell’aeroporto, pertanto può risultare rumorosa al passaggio degli aerei, un compromesso da accettare e sicuramente non imputabile alla struttura

The room is large and very clean, the bed is comfortable, the air conditioning was fantastic, the small balcony is very convenient, the amenities were great, and the check-in was very easy. I was worried about noise because of its convenient proximity to the airport but it wasn't a problem. I slept very well. I would stay there again and I will be recommending it to friends!

Very difficult to communicate with the host. Speaks little English Very difficult location: even though it is only 3-4 km from the airport, the only way to get there is taxi and all the taxis charge 35 euros, the same as a taxi into Rome. Same on the return. So might as well stay in Rome. I spent over an hour trying to arrange transportation to and from the airport

Reviewed May 31, 2026Nice design, very clean and comfortable bathroom and bedroom. Everything is provided(thooth paste and slippers and capsules for the coffee mashine). We had transfering flighs and got ourselves checked-in late at night without problems.
It looks near the airport bit it is not reachable on foot and you need to get taxi. There are very helpful instructions for booking local taxi at the property.

Reviewed May 26, 2026Удобно расположен рядом с аэропортом. Коммуникабельный отличных хозяин: быстро ответил, хотя был вечер прямо перед поздним заездом. Если надо переночевать между рейсами - вариант очень хороший. Есть кофемашина и капсулы, печенье и набор чая. Есть ванные принадлежности. Есть кондиционер на обогрев, но мы его не заметили и поспали в комнате при 16 градусах 😆
Холодно (в середине марта), холодный пол (благо есть тапочки!) И холодно в ванной (надо было заранее включить батарею - она включается на 15 минут) - если бы включили и ее и кондиционер на обогрев - то было бы ок, но было поздно, мы устали и не было сил разбираться. Но мы забронировали прямо перед заездом - поэтому к хозяину вопросов нет - спасибо, что быстро ответил и заселил.

Автомастерская, которая находится на первом этаже, похоже, принадлежит ему, поэтому особо расшаркиваться и любезничать с гостями ему некогда - встретил, заселил, через время спросил все ли в порядке, предложил такси до аэропорта, да и все, собственно :). По-мужски - четко, быстро, лаконично, по делу. Номер чистый, просторный, одноразовые зубные щетки, белые тапочки :), холодильник, кофе, чай и всякие ништячки к чаю. Недалеко в 2 мин ходьбы есть супермаркет. Дом расположен относительно близко к аэропорту (35 мин пешком, поэтому его и выбрали), поэтому слышны взлетающие самолеты - минус, перекрываемый плюсом. Выезжали тоже без мороки - вышли, кинули ключи на стол, и дали деру в аэропорт! Да, Юри, если читаешь этот отзыв, дверку в душевой во 2 номере лучше поставить, а то заляпывается пол в ванной сильно! ;)
Да ничего, на все "минусы", типа шума от самолетов, шел сознательно, но ночью их не слышал. Рядом с домом трасса, шумновато, но к ночи все затихает - итальянцы тоже спят по ночам, представляете! На ближайшем пляже Focene Beach очень грязно - весь мусор с моря на берегу, не рекомендую, ищите другой.

Reviewed May 22, 2026The owner really makes you feel welcome. The coffee, the utensils, the local information, the hand written notes. His notes are friendly, easy to understand and very helpful. I felt like he really cares about his guests.
Initially, I was surprised by the location. It is close to the airport and you can walk down to the boardwalk, where there are multiple sidewalk cafes. (I found the boardwalk by chance). What I wasn't expecting is the location to be at a tire shop. After I got over that and took my walk, I realized that most airport hotels, not just in Rome, are in random areas, not really connected to any local natural space or someplace that feels part of the real city, they are sort of just in a no-mans-land. The other hotels in the area did not look appealing, (some did initially but on second glance, not so much). The other hotels and Malu House are in the same vicinity, so although the Malu House is at a tire shop, it is no different than staying at a hotel next to a tire shop or similar business and I am sure the rooms & care at the hotels are nothing like that of the Malu House. In the end, I appreciated the room (s), there is an entryway and then the room, I got used to the location, it actually started to feel homey, it was safe and I was happy that I stayed there. Ah, there are stairs. For someone that cannot traverse stairs, this could be a problem. Note-The windows opened and there is a small balcony with a table a chairs. The suggested taxi driver is super sweet.

Мой совет - не делать так) У аэропорта найти дорожку не получилось - часть пути пришлось идти по развязкам и автостраде. На половине пути нашел дорожку - идти стало спокойнее. В аэропорт уже ехал на такси (контакты есть в отеле). 15 евро стоит доехать в дневное время и 20 евро ночью. Сам гостевой дом находится в индустриальном районе рядом с автосервисами. Вывеска небольшая - сначала не заметил, прошел мимо. На фото как выглядит гостевой дом. При подходе к воротам получил инструкции от владельца, заселился самостоятельно. Номер просторный, чисто, все соответствует заявленому. Единственное расположение - далековато от центра. Пешком 15 мин до центра и 30 мин до пирса. А так-как все-равно в аэропорт ехать на такси, в следующий раз взял бы номер в центре.

Via de host konden we een taxi regelen. Taxi stond 04.00 uur voor ons klaar. We hadden 1 nachtje ivm vroege vlucht maar zouden zo bijboeken. 20 min lopen naar t strand. Super

The host was truly great and communicated with me from the very beginning until the end of my stay via WhatsApp. He was extremely helpful, especially considering that I landed in Rome at 1 a.m. There was absolutely no problem with the check-in. He sent me clear instructions on how to get to the room and left the key for me, which made everything very smooth and stress-free. The location, price, and overall conditions were really amazing and great value for money. I can wholeheartedly recommend Malu House to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026The room was fine, maybe a little too cold but that would be a plus during summer. All facilities were in good working order, and the room was very clean. Late check-in was not a problem. There is a supermarket very near the property, and a bus stop with buses going to the airport every 30 minutes. I booked because of a late night flight thinking taxis to Rome would be too expensive, but a taxi to Fiumicino was also 55 euros even if just a 5 minute drive. So I walked to the property instead (~30 mins). I now see there are supposed to be night buses to Fiumicino, so that sounds like a better option.

Avrei preferito magari anche una piccola cucina con lavello o un fornellino ma capisco che gli spazi sono quel che sono quindi va bene così
