Peaceful@Swansea In Rosebank-Parkwood

The location is ideal. You’re in a quiet, safe, tree-lined street yet only a short hop from Rosebank’s restaurants, shops, and Gautrain, with easy access to Sandton, the Zoo, Emmarentia Dam, and more. Everything you need is close, but the apartment itself feels like a private sanctuary. Clean, well-maintained, spacious (around 68–70 m²), and thoughtfully set up. I can’t recommend Peaceful@Swansea highly enough. Whether you’re visiting for work, a city break, or simply need somewhere that actually lets you switch off, this place delivers. One of the best stays I’ve had in Johannesburg. Casper is a fantastic host — warm, helpful, and so easy to deal with that I ended up extending by another three days without a second thought.

Casa molto grande e ben arredata in stile coloniale, con un delizioso giardino. La struttura è sicura e dispone di un posto auto. Si trova a Parkwood, zona residenziale molto tranquilla, a pochi passi da Rosebanck e dal suo famoso mal.

La struttura non dispone di riscaldamento, ma solo di una piccola stufa. Questo non è un gran problema a Johannesburg, anche se durante il nostro soggiorno ha fatto molto freddo.

The host and caretaker were helpful and the outside space was beautiful and well taken care of. The TV options and WiFi strength were great. I liked that the house was a walking distance to the shops and to a mall.

The kitchen space was small (for me because I wanted to cook), however, the kitchen equipment was practical and adequate.

Great place. Basically a small home on the back of another home...two bedrooms, two toilets...big lounge, nice garden, good wood burner (reasonable charge for wood provided by host). Very nice area; Walkable. Nice park nearby. Great modern coffee shops at nearby 'Nine Yards'. Extensive mall at Rosebank, not far away. Excellent value.

No clothes washing, but theres a laundrette the other side of Zoo Lake Park.

A comfortable stay in a wonderfully clean and safe environment. Everything I needed was there for a peaceful overnight stay.

Not a complaint, but I would love to stand on a rug in the bedroom on a cold winter morning, although the tiles were spotless :)

It was so peaceful and clean

The whole place makes you feel like you're back home with its cozy atmosphere and decor. Casper, the host couldn't be more helpful and kind, and made us very comfortable the entire time. The backyard is simply perfect, a "must" for families during the cooler nights in Joburg! Our daughters loved to roast some marshmallows after a nice day out exploring, and our host was ready to help us with anything we needed. We loved our stay!

Honestly, there was abolutely nothing that could have been better regarding this accomodation. It's the best option a family could have while visiting Joburg. Perhaps, the two mattresses could use a little upgrade in the future, but that's all I could say.

Situato in una zona sicura e residenziale a poca distanza dal centro commerciale dove la domenica si tiene un simpatico mercato. Proprietario discreto e gentile. Appartamento grande, TV con Netflix.

Come detto in altre recensioni l'appartamento è un po' freddo, però in bagno è presente uno scaldino che permette di fare una doccia confortevole.

It’s very clean, spacious and tranquil

The beds are not comfortable. They should replace them. And the patio or braii area was dusty. In addition I think they should provide at least a one or two plate stove.

Quiet area yet central. Lovely garden for relaxing. Clean. We felt safe.

The accomodation is really good value for money, well located and spacious. Netflix is was available for guests. The owner let us leave the luggages in the house after check-out.

The house is overall nice and our stay was good, but it could benefit from some small improvements (e.g. windows not completely closing well, bed a bit uncomfortable).

Hermosa casa, es amplia y muy privada. Tiene de todo para una estancia cómoda. La ducha es exquisita, el living muy cómodo, terraza linda y con muchos pajaritos. La ubicación es un barrio muy tranquilo y cerca de bares, restaurantes y del mall.

The other bed was not comfortable. The bed is very old and fragile. The mattress is bigger than the bed

Easy access into property, space inside the apartment is huge, outside area is surpeb. Wifi speed was fast enough, Tea, sugar, coffee and milk were available for free. Owner was super friendly and assisted in everything we needed. I was happy i could check out earlier than expected without a problem. Amenities around the place were more than enough for a peaceful or outgoing persona. Rosebank mall is just up the road, 5 minutes drive. Well centred and easy to get to.

all else was good, the shower door needs a bit of attention as it can't close properly, i like a soft comfortable bed, they were a bit on the hard side though comfortable. The bed part is about preference not to take away from the quality they have. otherwise all was good on my part, i would recommend the place to anyone in need of some quiet time yet still have access to any amenities within a 10 minute radius drive.

¶ Felt pretty cosy; ¶ Staff very welcoming and helpful; ¶ Apartment is very spacious.

¶ Being a very private person, my issue was that there were no blinds by the glass entrance door; ¶ No stove for even a small breakfast preparation; ¶ There was just a fridge, air fryer and microwave.

We loved everything about the accommodation and only wished we would’ve stayed longer!

Indeed a very peaceful spot in the hustle and bustle of JHB. Felt very safe. Hosts were great and available at all times. Stunning outside area for BBQ or sunny morning coffee.

Place is a bit dark and if staying for a longer period it would be a bit difficult with the limited kitchen facilities but totally enough for a shorter stay or if you will be eating out mostly. We had no issues staying 2 nights.

Good location if you have a car (parking available) or use Uber/Bolt. Quiet place and extremly nice decoration. Great experience!

Everything about the place was perfect. The host was friendly, the house was clean, it had ample space, and a private area outside to rest and relax with friends.
